Spider-Man: LOUD Season 3 Chapter 1
"The Past is Calling Your Name"
"Lori?!" The teen exclaimed, quickly running up to the sister he hadn't seen in months, wrapping her in a tight embrace.
"I missed you too Lincoln." Lori said, returning the embrace.
Letting go of each other, the older woman stepped inside the house, her husband stepping inside with her, "What's goin' on little bro in law?" Bobby said in a happy tone, extending his fist for a fistbump.
Accepting the fistbump, Lincoln looked slightly up at the now just barely taller than him Bobby, "Hardly little anymore, but I'm doing great, especially now that you and Lori are here."
"Not just me and Lori." The older man corrected.
"Huh? Who else is with you?" The teen asked.
"Long time no see, huh Linc?" A familiar voice came from behind Bobby.
Bobby stepped to the side to reveal none other than Ronnie Anne, Lincoln's old bully/friend.
"Sup lame-O." The Latina girl replied.
Very little had changed about the girl since the last time Lincoln had seen her. She still wore her black hair in a ponytail, tied using a purple hair tie, she still wore jean booty-shorts, her purple thigh highs had been replaced with purple leggings that got tucked under her shorts. Her purple jacket had gotten smaller, only covering her arms and down to her chest, underneath her jacket she wore a white crop top, her toned abdomen being presented to the world.
"Ronnie Anne?!" The white haired teen exclaimed, walking up to her he extended his fist to fist bump her, "What's going on? I haven't seen you in ages!"
Ignoring his fist bump attempt, the girl just pulled the boy in for a hug instead, "Not much, I've just been hanging around."
Hugging her back, he patted her back, "You're so different from the last time I saw you."
"Yeah, I grew tits and got an ass." She said quietly enough for only him to hear.
Lincoln nervously laughed at the comment, "You haven't changed at all huh?"
"Nope, and I don't intend to." They broke the hug.
"I'm also here!" Another familiar voice came from outside.
Ronnie Anne stepped to the side to reveal her best friend Sid, dragging a giant bag of luggage across the ground.
Sid also hadn't changed much, her long brown hair still had its pink headband in it, however Sid had gone the route most girls her age seemed to go, and ditched her modest clothes for smaller variants of them. Her loose blue shirt she used to wear had now shrunken significantly, now being a tight blue crop top that accentuated her nicely sized breasts, her thin midriff exposed, her black spandex shorts also shrank, becoming black spandex booty shorts.
"Sid? You're also here?" Lincoln asked in surprise.
"She basically got on her knees and begged to come." Ronnie-Anne stated.
"N-no! I would never stoop to such low tactics!" The asian teen defends herself, putting a hand to her chest.
Everyone laughs at the situation in front of them.
After calming down, Lincoln looks to his sister, "So what's with the sudden visit?"
His mother looks to him, "Lori Is due soon, she wants her baby born in Royal Woods, so she's visiting us for her birth, and a little longer for the recharge period."
"I completely forgot that you were due soon!" He faced his sister once more, "But, if it's because of you giving birth soon, then…why are Ronnie-Anne and Sid here?"
"Ronnie-Anne saw the opportunity to see old friends again, so she wanted to come along." Lori confirmed.
"And Sid just wanted to come with cause she has nothing to do for the next few weeks." The latina teen said.
Said girl smiles brightly.
"Well, dinner'll be done in just a few, so make yourselves at home!" Lynn Sr. said with a pep in his step, turning around to head towards the kitchen.
Everyone stepped inside, closing the door behind them. Lori sitting on the couch, her husband sitting down next to her.
"So Linc, you still stuck in that linen closet?" Ronnie-Anne asked, playfully punching his shoulder.
"Yeah, I could've moved into a bigger room after everyone moved out, but I like the linen closet, it's small, but it's cozy." The teen said calmly, rubbing his shoulder lightly.
"You wanna go see it?" She looked to her asian friend, who nodded, "That cool with you?"
"Yeah, just follow me." Lincoln started up the stairs toward his bedroom.
Sid went to grab her luggage, dragging it across the floor again, Lincoln turning around and seeing this, walked over and picked it up with ease, "Let me help you with that."
The girls eyes widened in astonishment at how strong the boy was, but decided not to comment.
The trio heads upstairs and enters the teens bedroom, the door shutting behind them.
"So, this is the closet." Lincoln said in a monotone voice.
"That's really all you have to say about it?" Ronnie-Anne asked.
"I mean…how else do you want me to describe it?" The white haired teen asked, setting down Sid's luggage.
"I don't know, I was just expecting a little more for the bedroom you've lived your whole life in." She responded.
"Hmm, I dub this room, the super room!" Sid expressed, pointing a finger in the air and placing a hand on her hip.
"The…super room?" The black haired girl said in confusion, raising an eyebrow.
"Well yeah, because of all of the superheroes that live here!" She said, placing her other hand on her hip, and facing the two teens.
"Oh shit." Lincoln thought, sweat starting to form on his forehead, "Please tell me she didn't already find out my secret identity!"
"The superheroes that live here?" The latina now cocked her head to the side, placing a hand on her hip, "Sid you're making no sense."
Sid lowers her hands to her sides and deadpans, "Because of all the comic books and superhero related stuff in here?"
"Oh, well you should've just said so." Ronnie-Anne crosses her arms and closes her eyes, a small smile forming on her face.
"Okay…good, she's just bad with words." The teen thought to himself, wiping the sweat from his head.
"But man, I never thought I'd see this room again." Sid stated, sitting on Lincoln's bed.
"Yeah, it feels like ages since I was last here." Ronnie-Anne says, walking to the other side of the room and leaning on the wall.
"Yeah…it has been a while…huh?" Lincoln said, rubbing the back of his neck, him and Ronnie-Anne making eye contact for a brief second, before looking away from each other.
"What's up?" The girl sitting on the bed asks, a confused look on her face.
"N-nothing Sid. Don't worry about it." Ronnie-Anne dismissed the girl.
Sid took one last look between the two, before shrugging.
Bobby laid back in the chair he sat in at the dining room table, "That was delicious Mr. Loud." He said, putting his hand up in an okay hand gesture.
"Please Bobby, I'm your father in law, just call me Lynn." The man said.
"Okay…Lynn." He said, feeling a little weird.
"My compliments to the chef!" Sid exclaimed.
"Thank you dad, it was as great as ever." Lori said calmly.
"Thanks everyone, just doing my job." Lynn Sr. said, humbly accepting the praises thrown at him.
Picking up his plate, he stood up and made a circle around the table, picking up everyone else's plates, heading to the kitchen and setting the dishes in the sink.
"So, sleeping arrangements, how're they going?" Lori, asked.
"We've set up one of the guest rooms for you and Bobby." Rita stated.
"What about us?" Ronnie-Anne asked, pointing to herself and her friend.
"We have some air mattresses we can blow up for you. Since you were so last minute we couldn't really plan a whole lot for you." The older woman responded.
"No no, you don't have to go through all that trouble just for us." The young girl replied, "We'll just take some sleeping bags."
"Okay, suit yourself." Rita said, leaving the dining room.
Lincoln made his way up to his room, "Hey Linc, mind if me and Sid bunk in your room tonight?"
The boy turns around to face the two girls, "Why? Wouldn't it be better if you slept in the guest room with Lori and Bobby?"
"Well, nothing against them, but you know how Lori and Bobby never stop talking to each other. I'd rather not be up all night hearing, 'No you fall asleep first' or something like that." Ronnie-Anne replied.
"Well, I guess…but…" Lincoln rubbed the back of his neck, "Wouldn't it be kinda weird? Since I'm a dude?"
"Nah, we'll be fine, we trust you." She replied.
"Yeah, and even if you try anything, I wouldn't mind." Sid says with a beaming smile, placing her hands behind her back.
Ronnie-Anne looks to her friend wide-eyed, "Umm…Sid?"
She turns to Ronnie-Anne, "Yeah?" She asks innocently.
"What the hell?" She asks.
"What?" Sid throws her hands up, "Lincoln's a good looking guy, plus, what kinda weirdo would actually have sex next to one of his friends, with his friends best friend?"
"Well, yeah, but that's still kinda weird to say." The latina girl responded, cocking her head to the side in a frustrated confusion.
"I'm not saying I'd let him get it in with me! I'm just saying that if he wanted to do some light groping or rubbing, I wouldn't mind." Sid said, still with a beaming smile.
"I can't tell if you're just socially unaware of the situation, or if you're just dumb." Her friend replied.
"Why are you talking about me as if I'm not here?" The white haired teen asked, breaking the two's focus on the other.
"W-whatever, let's just…are you cool with it Lincoln?" Ronnie-Anne asks, "W-with us bunking in your room I mean." She continues.
"I guess. My bed's big enough for the three of us." He responded.
"For the three of us?! I thought me and Sid were gonna sleep in sleeping bags on the floor?" She exclaims.
"No way am I letting you two sleep on the floor while I get a bed all to myself, plus if it'll make you feel better, I'll sleep on the floor and give you two the bed." He responded.
"I'm okay with sleeping in the bed with you." Sid said, raising her hand as if she needed permission to speak.
She turned to her friend to see her answer, "I guess I'm okay with sharing the bed with you two."
"Yay! Slumber party!" The young brown haired girl cheered, marching up the stairs.
The three relaxed in Lincoln's room, "So, who wants the shower fist?" Lincoln asked.
"I'm fine if one of you takes it." Ronnie-Anne says, looking up from her phone.
"I'll shower in the morning." Sid responds.
The Latina looks over to Lincoln, "Go for it." He says.
She gets up and grabs her back pack, leaving the room and heading to the shower, closing the door behind her.
A few seconds of silence passed, "Sooo, Lincoln?" The girl starts.
"What's up?" He looks over at the girl sitting at the edge of his bed, from where he's laying on the bed.
"It's kinda an awkward question, but…do you like me?" She asked, rubbing The back of her neck.
"Huh? That could be taken a number of different ways, please elaborate before I make myself look dumb." He responds.
"Like, not like that, but…as like, a friend?" She clarifies, turning to look at the boy.
"Uh, yeah? If I didn't I probably wouldn't be so down for you two to sleep in the same bed as me." He responded.
"That's fair…it's just that it's been a while since I last saw you. So I wasn't really sure where we stood in a relationship." She said, blushing.
"I get that. I never really got your contact information either, so we couldn't have even talked, even if we wanted to." He stated.
She blinked a few times, "Is that your lame way of asking me for my number?" She asked in a monotone voice.
He sighed, "Yes, yes it is."
She giggled before giving him her phone number.
Later that night all were asleep in the Loud household. Lincoln lied in bed, at the edge, with Ronnie Anne next to him, and Sid against the wall. Her reason for Sid not being next Lincoln was that after the comment she made she couldn't be trusted to sleep next to a boy.
Sid and Ronnie Anne were fast asleep, but Lincoln was as awake as ever. Slowly getting out of bed he grabs his backpack and slowly crawls out his bedroom window, making sure not to make much noise, as to not disturb the sleeping dames.
He climbs to the roof and switches into his costume, webbing his backpack to the roof. He leaps off the tiled roof and swings his way to the bigger city.
Swinging through the cold night, he lands on a building and perches at the ledge, "A quiet night…just the way I like it."
Suddenly, an explosion is seen and heard in the distance, looking in the direction of said explosion, he leaps from his stance, "Me and my big mouth."
The teen hero swings over to a building that had just exploded. Landing on a building across the street to examine the damage.
"Oscorp? Could this be the same person who attacked Roxxon?" He asked himself.
Suddenly, his Spider-Sense started blaring, he leapt up into the air, doing a sideflip, someone flies underneath him, just barely missing him.
He lands on his hand and knee, looking up to spot whoever attempted to attack him, only to find no one.
"Hahahaha" A loud deep cackle surrounds him.
Turning around several times to catch the origin of the cackle, he finds himself alone, still readied for the potential battle.
Suddenly, a small orange ball drops next to him, gaining his attention.
Looking at it from a reasonable distance, it goes off, releasing tons of smoke.
"Smoke bomb?" He mumbles to himself.
His Spider-Sense went off once more, he flipped upward again, only to be met by someone grabbing his chest, predicting his escape route.
They grab his chest and fly into the air with him, flying out of the smoke and pulling the teen close to him, revealing his green face and twisted smile, his long pointy elf-like ears.
"So predictable!" He shouts at the teen in a light yet raspy voice.
"W-who are you?!" Spider-Man asks, grabbing the man's arms.
"Who, me?" He asks sarcastically, "I go by many names, but you can call me the Green Goblin!" The man laughs hysterically before throwing the teen hero down.
He flips upward and shoots a web to the Green Goblin's glider, attaching it.
The Goblin flies upward, pulling the hero up with him, "Do be mindful, we charge per ride!" The Goblin remarks.
Spider-Man begins climbing toward the glider before it takes a nosedive downward, causing him to lose his concentration and focus on holding on.
"You hold on so tight, but are you sure that's such a good idea?" The Goblin asks.
Spider-Man looks forward, a building quickly approaching him, but before he can act he's swung through the window of the building.
He gets up and looks to see his web broke off the glider, "Dammit, can't let him get away!" He breaks off into a sprint before leaping out the previously broken window, shooting a web upward to pull himself toward the top of the building.
"Lincoln? What's going on?" A voice comes through his mask.
"Lucy? I didn't think you were awake!" He responds.
"Of course I'm awake, emo plus teenager equals no sleep schedule." She says, "But anyway, what happened?"
"Some green guy calling himself the Green Goblin just blew up an Oscorp facility, there's no doubt he was also behind the Roxxon explosion yesterday!" He explains, flipping off a building while chasing the villain.
"You think he's just another villain of the week?" She asks.
"I'm hoping so." He answers.
He shoots a web to the glider and yanks it toward him, pulling it out from under the Goblins feet, throwing him onto a building where he lands with a flip.
Spider-Man rushes to the building and lands in front of him, "How many people did you just kill in that Oscorp facility?"
"Oh that? None, that whole section of the building had been long evacuated, it was just a trick to get your attention." He says, pointing a finger in the air.
"To get your attention? This guy must be really confident in himself if he's acting just to get your attention." Lucy speaks over the comms.
"Why do you want my attention?" The teen hero asks, steeling himself for the oncoming fight.
"Good question, I however can't answer that at this moment." The man teased.
"Get ready, this guy gives me some bad vibes." Lucy says.
The Green Goblin rushes toward Spider-Man, throwing a punch which was easily dodged by the web-slinger, he sticks out his foot to trip the Goblin, only for him to then front flip over the teen and land behind him, kicking him in the back.
"What kinda move was that?" He grunts to himself.
The Goblin pulls out an orange ball and throws it at the teen, several sharp razor blade like things break out of it, flying towards the hero.
His eyes widened, jumps to avoid the first one, landing he ducks to avoid the second one, he then does a sideflip to avoid the last two.
Landing on his hand and knee, he looks up to find the Goblin kneeing him in the face, causing him to stumble backward.
The Goblin rushes him down and grabs him by his chest and throws him into the air, extending his arm out, a grappling hook shoots out and pierces through the teens thigh, causing him to grunt in pain. The Goblin yanked the teen back to the ground causing him to slam onto the rooftop.
He slowly got up, looking up he sees the Goblin rushing him once more, punching him in the face. The hero stumbles back once more, getting cornered against the wall of an adjacent building, the Goblin traps him against the wall, delivering punch after punch upon the teens chest, gut, and face.
He grabbed the hero's face and pulled it down, delivering a swift knee to the face, causing him to crumble to his knees.
He breathes heavily, placing his hand against the wall, he struggles to get back up again, the Goblin walking away. Spider-Man gets back to his feet and tries to run toward the Goblin, who was now hopping back onto his glider, but stumbles and falls over, beaten and bloodied.
"God dammit…" He forces out in between sharp pained breaths.
He slowly loses consciousness, but right before closing his eyes, he sees a familiar pair of legs running to him.
"I can't…look the other way…" He says, his eyes finally closing, "Not again…"
To be continued…
