Chapter 37: History Attack

Mr. Lancer was teaching history to some students when the Lunch Lady Ghost showed up. "Who changed the menu?"

Minutes later, at Fentonworks, Jack was working on another invention when his wife appeared at their lab. "Jack, there's a ghost attacking Casper High!" She exclaimed.

"To the Fenton Ghost Assault Vehicle!" Jack replied.

Meanwhile, Danny was flying through Amity Park and noticed his parents' RV rushing and figured out they were fighting a ghost. "I should help." He said. "I hope I can keep up."

The Fentons arrived at Casper High on time to hear a girl telling the Lunch Lady Ghost "I just added tofu to the school menu!"

"The students need meat!" The Lunch Lady Ghost shouted.

"We still can have it!" The girl pleaded. "I just introduced another option. I'm not like that narrow-minded goth who was legendary for banning meat and introducing grass as an alternative."

"NO MORE TOFU!" The Lunch Lady screamed and then adopted a calmer tone. "Sausages, anyone?"

"Yes!" Jack eagerly replied.

"THEN HAVE IT!" The Lunch Lady shouted and fired sausages at Jack.

Danny Phantom then phased himself in. "Lunch Lady, shouldn't you be watching over your kid?" The halfa asked.

"Box Lunch is at a ghostly daycare, thanks for your concern." The Lunch Lady Ghost calmly replied. "NOW GO AWAY!"

The Box Ghost then showed up. "The daycare called!" He said. "Walker closed it on the grounds that it violates safety rules that, as ghosts, we don't need."

"Stupid Walker." The Lunch Lady Ghost muttered and the ghostly couple left.

"Saved by the Box Ghost." Danny commented, amused by the irony. "I never thought I'd see the day."

"Don't say that, son." Jack tried to comfort Danny. "I'm sure we'd have defeated the other ghost."

"True but I'm still impressed he actually helped." Danny replied.

Later that day, Danny and Natasha were having a boofer phone call about it. "The Box Ghost actually being helpful?" Natasha asked. "Almost as unbelievable as him and the Lunch Lady Ghost."

"True." Danny agreed, still not completely recovered from the idea. "And how was your day?"

"Aside from my college lessons, I had to sit down with Dad to review budget issues, Danny." Natasha replied. "It's like that spider-themed hero says about power and responsibility."

"You're telling me?" Danny asked. "I am the one with a similar kind of power to his."

"True." Natasha conceded.
