Akko is in the final dungeon, already exploring a good part of the floors, she was reaching the fourth floor, having practically trained for the previous dungeons by climbing the tower, until she reached the end of it, with several challenges, she was showing how her skill was well suited to defeat Andrew, surprising everyone who was watching her go through the dungeon, seeing that her power was beyond what everyone imagined she had.
Atsuko goes to the locked door on the third floor, after defeating the Mandragora with great ease, she enters the staircase that leads to the next floor, which is simply a spiral, where she deals with some Bari who were lurking in the corners of the wall, waiting for the girl's sword attack, but she is clever, using her hammer to avoid being hit by the monster and ending up being shocked.
Climbing the spiral staircase, it even took her a while to climb it all. When she reached the door to the fourth floor, there was simply a closed room with only one exit, and that exit was underwater, so she had to use the second word to gain access by swimming through the water.
(Come on Akko, take a deep breath, you can do it, it's going to be a pain in the arse having to deal with water right now, I've just come from a dungeon almost completely underwater and now this, time to swim apparently, shame I have to be stuck not being able to use the other items on the staff).
The second word is used, Kagari jumps into the water and the small corridor gives way to a slightly larger open area, but soon there are surprises that are not at all pleasant with skeletal fish coming up, as well as zazaks that shoot balls of magma underwater.
She swims quickly, leaving the monsters behind, but soon comes across medusa traps launching balls of magma down the corridor, as well as submerged hardhat beetles ready to push the girl back.
(You'd think there'd be some kind of challenge here underwater, at least I'm ready for anything, I'll put my skills into practice here).
She just dodged the monsters, ignoring most of them as she swam, since they couldn't surround her in any way, managing to swim down the corridor that was getting smaller and smaller, which ended up leaving the crimson-eyed girl a little cornered since she needed to use her hammer to clear the way, which she then took out with her elemental staff in hand.
(If I could use the staff here, I would have already taken the sword in hand and swept everything away, but unfortunately underwater I can't, but I still have my other tactic using magic, these monsters can't get close if I do that).
The brown-haired girl began to move her staff, which created a kind of spell that created explosions around her, these explosions hit the creatures, then many of them were defeated, but there were still a few Zazaks left who were almost immune, with the girl having to go up, hitting cuts, even remembering a little after the projectile cuts, when she dodged being caught from behind by a ball of magma fired.
Having got rid of the Zazaks, she was able to make her way through the stones, with the hammer those cubes that were blocking her were destroyed, and the corridor went on for a while, with a door with a lock on it, which is a sign that there is still a key to pick up.
(Apparently the monsters here are easier to defeat, or I've only just learnt how to deal with a more subterranean dungeon, well, let's keep swimming here, we're already reaching another part of this exploration).
Swimming a little, she came across a current pulling a little, which signalled that the submerged part was running out, and that was indeed the case, since there were no monsters around, but there was something else, which was simply some banshees and Hyu showing up to attack the girl, who was even taking out her sword to attack the monsters that were approaching in the wake, which this time the place was totally changing its atmosphere, looking more like it was abandoned.
(Oh you'd expect a return to the dungeon where there were banshees, that's the one where I got the intangibility staff, how nice to have a variety like that, I think exploration is now becoming quite fun to do).
When she reached the end of all the water, the warrior from Luna Nova pulled out her second longsword, returning to the mode where she breathed more oxygen and didn't have to breathe underwater, already feeling a little of the fresh air, although she was in a corridor where there was a lot of mist and in this mist many ghostly monsters came out, swooping down on the girl and attacking her with the sword that could simply attack this type of creature with tranquillity.
She soon activated the sword of the seventh word, but when she used the projectile cut she noticed that it
hadn't worked, she had a wound that she hadn't even noticed, she only realised afterwards that a piranha in the water was biting her shoulder, which she pulled out and started attacking even though she didn't have the option of sweeping through the dungeon.
(Damn, I wasn't even feeling it that much, I just felt a few twinges of nothing, but I thought it was rubbish, but no apparently there was a monster eating my shoulder without me realising, but damn, I've lost that angry cut that I can sweep away, it really sucks).
In the corridor where there are banshees and Hyu, as well as medusa traps throwing some stakes towards the girl, it was relatively easy to deal with, she was hitting the monsters with great ease, managing to dodge what was trying to hit her and they were much bigger banshees than the tower where she had gone in the original dungeon, even so they were being defeated, just as the stakes were easily dodged, the Hyu were in the same pattern, only soon some Stalfos Knights appeared, 10 of them in front of a door.
(I'll show them what I have for these things, they'll get close and I'll show them my magic for these things).
The skeletons came at Akko with all their might, the 10 of them in a group, and she threw a boomerang that caught the group, then she just dodged forwards and they all fell apart, where the girl ended up throwing a bomb and blowing up the group with considerable calm, heading straight for the door since there wasn't much to worry about on the way.
(That was very easy, they acted dumb here, coming with everything, it really was the perfect loophole, I didn't even need to use the bracelet here, I'm getting fast on my own, this is interesting and too good, I'm sure that from this door some supernatural monster will appear like the Queen Banshee who gave me a hard time before, but it would be nothing today).
Atsuko enters the door at the end of the corridor and comes across a chest that is always there, probably with the key to go up to the dungeon floor, but soon the monster that the girl is going to face appears, simply a mask appears, many of them and a sheet, with a blue flame, which begins to turn its head with several faces through the masks while shooting the blue flames towards the girl who is dodging being hit by that very bizarre creature.
(He looks like a cat, a Hyllian, a dragon, Zoras, what a bizarre thing, he has four heads, he'd make a really cool dungeon boss, and this is just some monster protecting the chest, that blue flame must surely hurt, I'm going to learn what this monster does before I go up there).
The monster continued to fire blue fireballs at the girl, hitting her all over the place and the flames, when they fell to the ground, even began to leap, bringing her closer to Kagari, who was noticing this. She immediately rushed at the creature, using the power of the bracelet, and made multiple cuts with the sword of the seventh word, but when she finished, it simply came to nothing, just stopping on the other side without being noticed, which was evident that the monster had simply become immune to swords.
(The sword will be useless here, I'm sure his type of attack must involve devouring the flames, or something like that, I'll try).
The flames are being hit by the sword, but they simply have no effect, they just get broken in the middle and fall apart all over the room, which was getting a lot of them all over the place, which the crimson-eyed one realised something, switching to the third word, she started to use the hook, which pushed one of the masks out, that made her light up with an idea, since then she started to hit cuts on the mask and it was really doing some damage to the monster that soon picked it up.
(So that's it? That's interesting, now I'm going to use up some of my magic, use up the magic vials, I'm just going to clean this up first, there's a lot of flames and they'll burn my arse off if I stand around doing nothing, I've got to do something somehow).
The power of the bracelet is used by the brown-haired woman, who begins to use the sword to clear the various flames that were in the surroundings, then turns time back to normal, uses the hook on the cat mask that ends up pulling, using the bracelet again simply slices one of the masks that is destroyed until there is no piece of one left, with only the other three remaining.
(Too easy, now just get the others, I'm going to follow the same strategy, this little monster can be as strong as it is, but I still have my intelligence with me, it's a really interesting monster, this is on the level of a dungeon boss, nice to see something like that around here).
But as soon as she took off the first mask and defeated it, one thing was noticeable: the flames were shooting out even faster, so the warrior from Luna Nova took care not to end up getting hit for free, taking off the second mask and doing the same thing, making as many cuts as possible, which she managed to do with ease, leaving normal time.
The creature gets even faster, some of the flames even catching Akko, who feels the burning and pain of being hit, but even so, the girl doesn't give up, she uses the hook on the third mask to start slicing away, with only one last mask left - Hyllian's.
(They're almost all gone, there's just one more to go, those flames really hurt, I think I'm going to have to use my bracelet now to be able to put them all out and have a clear path... Forget it, there's no need, it seems the monster has entered its final form).
The flames around it were all absorbed by the monster, which began to change the colour of the fire from blue to red. This time, instead of floating along a random route shooting flames, the creature began to fly around following Atsuko, who was dodging it and also shooting flames more accurately, which meant she had to think quickly or use her bracelet.
(Woah, it looks like this final form won't be taking it easy, I think it'll be a shame to be defeated so easily with me wearing the bracelet).
That's what Kagari did when she noticed that the monster was moving very fast, she started to use the bracelet and that really showed its speed, since even with the bracelet it still moved very slowly, unlike other creatures that were practically still, she started to use the hook, taking off the mask and with that she started to slice it until there was no piece left, when time came back the flames went out and relief hit the girl.
(This monster, it seems, really wanted to be the boss of bosses here, it didn't take it easy to defeat, well if the monsters are at this level it will be very interesting to see what's to come here).
The chest is opened, the key is taken, the potion is taken and all the way back to the door that had a lock, precisely the one that was submerged, where she opens it to see that there is a corridor swimming upwards, only to find that there are sharks there with Stalfos Knights mounted on top of them, ready to attack her.
(Apparently they've appeared too, but I'm just going to swim as fast as I can to get where I want to go, there's a passage up there, I hope I don't have to stay underwater here and the fifth floor doesn't have anything like that).
Swimming upwards, she ignored all the monsters making attacks, since she didn't need much. The sharks were agile, but not fast enough to get close to the crimson-eyed girl, who was finding a way to swim faster, since she gave her bracelet a boost and used that momentum to swim away with everything, her sword staying in front of her, which hit a few sharks on the way, causing them to slow down, as the monsters took a few blows, getting cut and reducing all the momentum that had been built up, but it was still enough to reach the surface.
(I made it... Phew, that was a close one, good thing I've now swum all I need to, it was a pain to get here, I nearly got bitten, but finally on the surface, now the fifth floor, time to kill some monsters, this is as challenging as the rastavan tower when I was younger).
When she got there, she drew on the power of the second word, breathing in the fresh air again, and got up from the ground to see that the various Stalfos were waiting for her, mounted on sharks just watching her from the surface, but soon the girl was finishing them off using the first word, firing arrows at the sharks that were beginning to submerge and the skeletons were also going along since they were tied up in some way, the five that were left were one by one submerging.
(Now you've all gone, you bunch of boring animals, now this thing can really get interesting, let's see what this dungeon has to offer me, I've already gone through almost all the dungeons I can think of, only the Triskellion I haven't finished going through, it doesn't have much either, so it's time to get up and get cracking).
The brown-haired woman entered the door at the entrance to the fifth floor, where she came across a dark place, which gradually began to light up, with a little water on the floor, looking a little familiar, which the lights soon revealed and there was simply the presence of four obscure versions, not of Akko, but of the previous warriors, the heroes of other eras and worlds.
(Apparently I've had my prayers answered, I haven't even opened my mouth and I can already see that there are dark versions, but they're not dark Akko's, they're another kind of dark version, they must be ancient Link warriors, so this is going to be very interesting to see, he must have been very powerful for sure).
The four dark links began to move towards the girl, who immediately took a look at her surroundings, checking the levers nearby, knowing what she had to do, it wouldn't work to attack using her bare hands, since the monsters were immune to sword slashes, from what she had learnt in previous dungeons.
They grouped up to attack, trying to hit the girl with a jumping sword attack, but she dodged another with a hook that almost hit her and the third that threw the bomb, where she was almost surprised by the fourth that came with a high kick that almost hit her, but the warrior from Luna Nova rolled backwards to save herself from being killed.
(These monsters aren't fooling around, they know how to work in groups, if I stand here wavering, they're really going to attack without mercy, I don't want to end up being chopped up after all this yet, I'm too young to end up dead, I have to defend Hyrule, they might even be clever, but do they have the agility that I have as well).
Akko wears the bracelet, but something's different: the dark links aren't moving at a standstill, they can still move slowly and surprisingly slowly, but it wasn't enough, as she was still able to reach the lever and pull it, only for time to go back to normal and the lever to be pulled, and with that the girl was almost hit by a dark link that came speeding towards her with a sword where a blow grazed her face.
(It was almost, I could have got an angry scar from that, this room really came to show everything it had, well at least this one is going to hurt a lot in this light).
One of the five lights was switched on, which almost caused one of the dark links to be defeated. Retreating backwards with the group, Atsuko immediately rolls over to go in the opposite direction to activate the next lever, only to fall into a trap set by the second dark link firing a boomerang and she ends up using her shield to defend herself against the boomerang, but is caught from behind by the third link, who throws a bomb that hits her in the back, injuring her a little and almost causing her to be hit if it wasn't for the bracelet saving her and giving her the chance to dodge the attack.
Seeing the opportunity, after the smoke screen from the bomb, she takes off running and sets off a few bombs along the way.
(This is going to be complicated, I have to stay here lowering levers and setting traps, it really won't be easy to defeat these monsters, well befitting this being a last dungeon, luckily I have some flasks and bombs to spare, they gave me a huge gap to use a bit of strategy).
The bomb tactic worked, opening a large smoke screen, where Kagari arrived in time at the next lever, she then used the elemental staff and created a current of wind, where the group of dark links began to head towards her running to the other side when the light came on, the girl dodging the four who came close, But even so they were clever, since even with the power of the bracelet she was almost hit by a hook that was going to catch her from behind, apart from one of the Dark Links coming in from the side with a bomb and another on the opposite side, just to distract her, when time returned to normal she looked at the next lever and stayed on the ceiling, waiting for the group to come to act.
A boomerang came flying towards her, and the crimson-eyed woman went for the ceiling, then with the momentum she used the sword of the seventh word, lighting it on fire, which practically created a lantern with an intense light, given that there was a huge shadow on the ceiling and that could simply make the monsters even stronger, but they were making way for fear of the strong flames.
(I know these things are strong in the shadows, now let's see if they're as powerful when the light comes, there have already been three lights switched on, with this one above, look at how huge the whole shadow was, they're really getting stronger with this, you can see that they still came to me).
Knowing that she could take a risk by hitting the ground, the brown-haired girl uses the fourth word to create a platform in the middle of the path where no dark link could reach, they were left without a path, the girl quickly looks at the lever where she wanted to go, adjusts the platform to face her, picks up the elemental staff, uses the power of the bracelet for a brief moment creating an explosion to propel her with everything. Time returns to normal and it was simply enough for her to reach the other side where she pulls the lever down with a smile on her face, managing to use the momentum even to push the lever, where she gets up from the ground and sees the distant Dark links running towards her.
(I stumbled, now I'm finished, well at least there's only the last lever left and they'll be guarding the coffin I'm sure, but let's see if this whole thing holds up).
The new Luna warrior gets up, using the sword of the seventh word, still having 10 seconds of bracelet to use, she lights the sword on fire and starts running at the four dark links at once, who also go to the girl, the five of them soon meet in the middle of the path to the lever, But instead of everything ending in a clash of swords, Hyllian was clever, raising her sword to create a wave of light with fire, which scared off the quartet who opened the way, then she drove her sword into the ground, creating a kind of corridor to the lever with a wall of fire.
(They really thought I was going to go up, it was just to group them together and give me the way, just pull the last lever, near the fire these shadows won't reach, I'm going to finish this place quickly and get whatever it is, this is all just for a little room of nothing, let alone what lies ahead when real danger appears).
The corridor of fire made everything easier, Akko pulls the lever and everything simply lights up in a huge beam of light, causing a flash in the room and in turn dissolving the four dark Links that were still trying to pass through the wall of fire, which with the path cleared the corridor of fire created by the girl is erased with an ice spell and then breaking all the ice revealing a chest in the middle of the room.
Opening it there was a key, but not just any key, the master key, precisely the one that will be used to reach the boss room and also get the item that will help Atsuko's journey.
(Wonderful, this dungeon has only shown the master key now, so it's going to be quite a long way, usually it's always halfway through that they appear, if that's all it takes to get a master key the item will certainly be very good by the looks of it, I hope it helps me a lot).
A door is also opened, with a passage in a corridor. As she passes through it, she realises that the whole place changes its atmosphere to resemble a castle, where some Taros appear with spears and swords already coming at the girl, as well as Hinox throwing bombs and some Zirros along the way in the middle of the whole open room, resembling a throne room, where there is a passage with a staircase on an upper floor.
The monsters were largely ignored by the girl, who just walked past the creatures as if they were nothing, with only those who got too close being hit by slashes, being killed easily as the sword of the seventh word was very powerful when used.
(This is reminiscent of Wedinburgh Castle, it brings back good memories I admit, it's really quite nostalgic, to think that this whole journey is about bringing the sparkle to the place that will be my next home).
As she climbed the stairs, she was almost hit by spears coming out of holes, so she moved as quickly as possible to the other side, dodging being hit by several spears coming through holes in a door where there was a staircase. As she climbed, she continued in the same castle atmosphere, as she went up she avoided being hit by medusa traps firing fireballs and also some Taros who were using spears trying to hit her.
On the next floor, she walked through a place that looked like a castle corridor, with the same Taros, only purple in colour and more strategic in their attacks, as well as Zazaks and medusa traps firing rays of various elements to hit the girl; it was inevitable that an attack would come, especially as everything was going to surround her.
(Well, there's no way I'm going to show you that there's going to be a bloodbath here, so it's time to attack some little monsters before I'm disturbed by them.)
Atsuko took a deep breath and began to go monster by monster, they were practically in the way preventing her from advancing, using a bit of the bracelet she made quick cuts with thrusts, which cleared the way in the narrow corridor, only having to worry about dodging traps and having to deal with the Taros archers who were on the other side wanting to hit her.
Then Kagari begins to walk along the wall, uses her first word, and does a somersault to dodge the arrows. She hits the three Taros blocking the passage and with one measly arrow she manages to clear a path to a door.
(That's really cool to do, launching arrows while standing upside down, everything seems to go in slow motion for me).
When she opened the double door ahead, there was another corridor, in which there were only Taros armed with spears, surrounding the girl, simply 20 of them, but they had no idea that the crimson-eyed girl had plenty of time left on her bracelet to use it, with seven seconds and still a few wells left from the bag she was carrying in her hands, it was more than enough to recover her life.
The brown-haired woman then uses the elemental spell with her staff to create explosions. When the monsters start attacking, she smiles and begins the second phase of her planned attack.
(Time to show this little army of monsters who's boss here, I think I'm going to be the storm that's coming).
The bracelet is worn by Luna Nova's warrior, who simply starts slashing away at the various Taros, each of the twenty being hit for the three seconds that she used accelerated movements was enough, until she reaches the other side facing the door, she turns time back to normal and puts the sword into its sheath, which ends up creating an explosion effect combined with several cuts, standing behind her, doing so precisely because she knows that her friends are watching and are very impressed by what they have seen.
(This must have come out very angry, it's a shame I can't see and have to stand like this in a pose, but at least I managed to defeat the monsters, now I'm going to take advantage and recover, I haven't had a healing potion so far, I don't know what's after this door, but I'm already getting a bit bruised).
Akko takes the potions of healing and restoring magic, which puts her in a better mood for what lies ahead, since all she's done in the tower is a huge step forward without using any healing, because the dungeon is very complicated for her, and she has to be careful not to spend so much on potions, although she's doing it because she has a good reserve from what she stole from Appleton's general.
As she passes through the double door, she sees that the place looks like a throne room, with a throne at the end of the room facing backwards and a pedestal with a huge pole on top, but before she can do anything, the throne turns over and Atsuko's own expression becomes one of shock as she recognises the two people sitting there, not only was she shocked, but so was whoever was watching, it could only be a dream, but at the same time a nightmare because they were in a dungeon.
"Yo... Yo... You? What are you doing here? You're dead, this is some kind of test, you want me to go through an ordeal in order to be worthy of this chest" said the shocked Kagari.
"Look, after six years you're very different Akko, we want to know if you really live up to all that power you'll possess, if you'll be the one to defeat Andrew, that's why we're going to test you for it, it'll be the fate of Hyrule that we'll trust in your hands" said one of the women.
"You know very well how much we've always admired you and are very proud of you on this journey, but it's time for the ultimate test, here we'll find out if Akko will be the saviour of Hyrule, for that you'll defeat both of us, show your greatness Akko!" Said the other woman with red hair, something that was already becoming very familiar.
The crimson-eyed girl was simply tearing up seeing it with her own eyes, she couldn't believe that right in front of her, her floor had collapsed, nothing could shake her more than seeing those people she admired so much in front of her, the very ones the brown-haired girl would have to face in order to advance in the dungeon.
Akko is progressing through the final dungeon, this time having a very considerable step, having to deal with some monsters that have become much more time-consuming to defeat and giving her a hard time, even though the areas where she has passed have fewer rooms there are still complicated monsters, but she has managed to get her hands on the master key, but the trials of the final dungeon are not over, they were just warming up for what is to come, more surprises lie ahead, which will mess with Akko more than she realises.
See you, key witches...
