It was time for Ash's fourth round match against Harrison as the two went up to the battlefield, but the battlefield wasn't there yet since it hasn't been decided which field would be used for this match.
"Now we are coming to the 9th match, this match will be between Ash Ketchum and Harrison it has been decided that Harrison will send out his Pokémon first" Freddy said as the crowd awaited Ash's next match.
"This will be a 6vs6 match between Ash and Harrison, the battle will be over hen all Pokémon are unable to battle, only between rounds Pokémon can be changed and after three Pokémon of one side are unable to battle now, we will decide which field will be used for the first halve of the battle " the Ref said as a wheel on the screen being in 4 parts one is with a Dessert design one was with a grass design one was a water design and one was an ice field, then the Wheel started to spin and it landed on the Dessert field which then came up from under the ground "and now both trainers are you ready" both Ash and Harrison nodded" then let the battle begin".
"Tyranitar, go" Harrison said as the massive Rock titan appeared on the field as with it appeared a Sandstorm in the field.
"Tyranitar I chose you" Ash said as the former Larvitar appeared on his field and even though he was still very young, and he was bigger than Harrison's Tyranitar.
The battle was a close one since both of them were close to each other in strength and also both have some attacks that were very effective against the other and after some time they were breathing hard and being exhausted.
"Tyranitar, finish it focus punch" Harrison said as his Tyranitar ran towards Ash's.
"How about a surprise, Surf" Ash said as everyone was shocked when under Ash's Tyranitar appeared a gigantic Wave on which Ash's Tyranitar ride and the wave crashed into Harrison's which was then thrown into a wall and was unconscious with swirls his eyes.
"Harrison's Tyranitar is unable to battle, Ash's Tyranitar is the winner, trainer please send out your next Pokémon" the Ref said as Harrison returned his Tyranitar and thanked him.
"Steelix go" Harrison said as the metal snake appeared on the field with its intimidating size.
"Tyranitar return" Ash said as he returned his Pokémon and thanked him "Seismitoad go" The Water Ground toad appeared on the field ready to battle.
Even though Seismitoad was at an advantage, Steelix was stronger than it and because of it the battle ended in a draw with Iron tail and Drain Punch.
"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, the battle ends in a draw, trainers please send out your next Pokémon" the Ref said as the Sandstorm disappeared as Ash and Harrison returned their Pokémon and thanked them.
"Houndoom go" Ash and Harrison said as the two Hellhounds appeared on the field although Ashs was bigger and had its scar on the right eye.
Even though they were the same specie Ashs was a lot stronger and more experienced than Harrisons and in the end Ashs finished it off with a combination of double kick and High Horsepower.
"Harrisons Houndoom is unable to battle, Ashs Houndoom is the winner and since Harrison has lost three Pokémon there now will be a 15min break" the Ref said as Harrison and Ash returned their Pokémon an went to the benches next to the field while the field itself went back underground since the second halve was on another field.
'I still have Lapras, Archeops and Charizard, I should probably go with Archeops next since all three of Harrison Pokémon are at a disadvantage against Archeops' Ash thought as he waited for the break to go by.
(Meanwhile in the stands)
In Brock and Misty smiled at how much both Larvitar and Houndoom had grown.
"Man, it's great to see how much the two have grown" Brock said" I am still surprised that he didn't catch them back in Jotho since the two were already close to Ash".
Both Misty and Brock told them about the stories how he met the or the story of Larvitars Egg and the others were shocked about how cruel the three hunters were but then Brock asked himself something.
"Wait what happened to Larvitars mother" Brock asked.
"She is nowadays living on the ranch but has retired from battling and nowadays only trains her son and Ashs other Rock type Pokémon along with Ashs Aerodactyl" Pr. Oak said.
After the explanation they went back to watch the battle where it was already decided with the battlefield being a Waterfield.
(Back to the field)
As the new field came up the two returned back to the field.
"And we are back to the battle and since Ash has more Pokémon left than Harrison, he has to send out his Pokémon first" Freddy said as the two got ready.
"Archeops go" Ash said as the ancient bird appeared on the field ready to battle for his friend.
"Weavile go" Harrison said as the former troublemaker appeared in its evolved form.
The battle in a close one since although Archeops had a mobility advantage, but Weavile froze the water being able to move fast on the field and after this it was a close battle between the two, but Archeops go the advantage thanks to its Rock type attacks, Flamethrower and Fire Fang and with its fire attacks it was able to mold the ice type attacks in the end Archeops finished it off with a combination of Head Smash and Sky attacks.
"Weavile is unable to battle, Archeops is the winner, trainer please send out your next Pokémon" the Ref said as Harrison and Ash returned their Pokémon and took out their next Pokémon.
"Salamence/Lapras go" Harrison/ Ash said as the Dragon with that had its wish granted and the Plesiosaur appeared on the field glaring at each other with Lapras having grown a lot in the last 4 years.
The battle was a short one since even though both were extremely strong Lapras was at the advantage with both Speed and power thanks to the Ice field and Lapras had Ice, Dragon and even Electric type attacks that did a lot of damage in the end Lapras finished it off with a combination of with Ice beam, Aqua jet and Wild Charge.
"Salamence is unable to battle, Lapras is the winner, Trainer please send out of your last Pokémon" the Ref said as Harrison and Ash returned their Pokémon and thanked them.
"Hey, Harrison this Pokémon wants revenge for losing to you in the Jotho league Quarterfinals" Ash said as he looks at his rival.
"Well then I won't disappoint him, Blaziken go" Harrison said as the Hoenn Fire Starter appeared on the field with a Mega stone in a bracelet.
"Charizard, go" Ash said his old friend appeared on the field but what surprised most wasn't the Red Scarf around his neck but the Pitch-black flame on the tip of his tail.
"A Charizard's flames color comes from how hot the Flame itself is and there are five different coloration Red, Blue, Green, Black and in very rare cases the flame can be White, so Ash's Charizard's flame is the 2nd hottest it can be" Mr. Goodshow explained the many were shocked at the revelation.
"Charizard/Blaziken Mega evolve" Ash and Harrison said as the two were engulfed in a blue Light as and when it died down there now stood a Mega Blaziken and a Mega Charizard Z (a combination of mega x and y with the mane coloration being blue scales and a green underbelly with his wing made out of White flames and the flames that came out of his mouth and the one a top of his tail tip also being white) almost all of the stadium where mesmerized by this form.
The battle was a short one thanks to Charizard's amazing speed and power and thanks to the fact that Blazikens fire attacks were absorbed dew to Charizard's second ability Flash fire in the end Charizard finished it off with a combination off Draco meteor, Flamethrower and Air Slash.
"Blaziken is unable to battle Charizard is the winner and since Harrison has lost all of his Pokémon Ash is the winner of the battle" the Ref said as the Spectators cheered for the great battle as Charizard returned to his normal form, but his flame stayed white indicating that his flame had become even hotter in his normal form Ash than run on the platforms and hugged him around him neck after which he met Harrison on the side of the field.
"Man, I am surprised that you dominated me that much" Harrison said as they shook hands" But I wish you good luck in the rest of the tournament" with that they returned their Pokémon and left the stadium and met up outside of the stadium and Ash answered the questions like how he got Archeops or how his Tyranitar knew Surf after that they went to sleep since Ashs battle was the last one that day.
(Next day)
After the rest of the battle where Brendan, Tobias, Paul, Vergil and Tyson also onto the last 16 after the last battle everyone now waited for the matches and when they appeared Ash saw that he had to face Tyson in the last 16.
Since Ash's battle was the first one, he decided to choose his team before going to sleep as Brock and Cilan joined him.
When they were in the computer room Cilan asked Ash how he decides which Pokémon he would use to which Ash answered that he decides which Pokémon he would use on what are the six strongest Pokémon his opponent had and as an example he went onto Tysons Pokémon page where he took out the six strongest looking Pokémon which were Sceptile, Meowth, Metagross and 3 Pokémon he didn't have before in the Hoenn league which were an Altaria, Walrein and Darmanitan and then told the two that he looked at his Pokémon and thought what Pokémon where good against them and Pokémon that he hadn't used yet.
While Ash was scrolling through his Pokémon Brock asked when he saw 4 pictures that were empty" What Pokémon are these" pointing at them.
"Well, those are my sacred weapons that I wanted to keep a sacred till I use them" Ash said as he scrolled down further, and they were shocked to see many legendary Pokémon from Mew, Mewtwo and the legendary birds to Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyurem.
"Ash why do you not use your legendaries apart from Suicune against Cameron" Cilan asked still shocked to see that Ash had so many legendaries although he knew about Ash having the Tao trio, the Genies, Keldeo, Victini, Meloetta and Genesect.
"I am mostly battling out of fun and only using the Legendary Pokémon isn't fun for me since I want to have a closer battle then defeating them with all my legendary Pokémon like Brendan and Tobias do" Ash said while choosing Sceptile, Blaziken, Salamence, Pikachu and Swampert for his match and was debating between Infernape, Garchomp, Spiritomb or a Black frog with grey underbelly and a blue tongue for Tysons Metagross since he predicted that it could mega evolve.
When Brock saw the black frog, he asked Ash" What Pokémon is that Ash, I have never seen this" while Cilan nodded.
"This Pokémon is called Greninja a Pokémon from the Kalos region" Ash said as he decided to use it as his last Pokémon and save the other Pokémon for if he would have to face Paul in the Quater, Semi or finals" I got him when 2 months before I came to the Unova Region I was training my Pokémon in Pr. Oaks ranch when I was called by him as he was in a call with the Kalos regions Regional Pr. Sycamore who told me that he had a Pokémon that had either abandoned or left them and asked me if I could give it a try which I did and at first Greninja didn't listen to me until it did one of the biggest mistake there ever was" Ash said as he registered his team and turned towards the other two.
"And What was that" Cilan asked scared by the comment Ash gave.
"He attacked a very pregnant Suicune which nearly ended with him getting fried to death by her mate Raikou for attacking her and after saving him by convincing Raikou to not attack him I got his respect and he saw that if he listened to me he would be even stronger through it and since that there was no going back" Ash said as both of his friends where scared thinking if they were at the situation of the Greninja back then standing in front of a very protective Legendary Pokémon whose pregnant mate was attacked.
With that done Ash, Cilan and Brock went to sleep with Cilan and Brock having nightmares of that moment with them in the Greninja's position.
