It was a dark night in history on the island of Berk, terror and anger mixed as an unholy soundtrack to what was happening. Dragons swarmed like bugs on top of a delicious bounty, weaving , climbing and using fear to collect sheep and burn down houses. Nobody was willing to just let the dragons destroy without a fight.
Towns people ran in different directions, they knew they were Vikings and if a fight was brought to them, they were going to respond. Among the people was the leader, Stoic, barking orders and directing the vulnerable to safety. The dragons had no specific plan, but , Stoic did and he just needed a chance to put it in play. With all the chaos going on the Vikings that lived on Berk had to get their weapons ready to fight off the dragons, this meant time and then, a real battle would happen.
While the chaos ran through the town like a rushing water faucet left open, inside the leader's house there was trouble coming. Stoic's son, a young boy named,Hiccup, was curious as to what they were doing to protect the village. While he was safely in his house watching on what was going on, Hiccup became convinced he "needed" to see more. Hiccup knew his father was out helping the Vikings to fight the dragons.
Once he saw that he had the chance to leave the house and to be a part of what was going on he decided to go for it. He made the decision after hearing as a bunch of Vikings from the battle run past his house , yelling at him, "It's not safe here!"and "Get back inside!" Hiccup knew it was unsafe, but, he was not going to go back inside of the house. He went to Goober's work shed. Goober has been of friend to him and his dad and he was sort of like an uncle figure to Hiccup.
"Nice for you to join the party!",shouted Goober with excitement.
Goober realized that Hiccup wants to help to prepare the weapons that could add to the fight.
"Who..me? No way !I'm WAY too muscular for their taste.", laughed Hiccup.
He helped Goober with laying out more of the weapons and calling to the people to get them and use them to attack the dragons.
As Hiccup was working, he heard "Light Fury!" This made everyone stop in their tracks as fire blast through the tower. Everyone saw the fire that was flaming on one of the buildings which was caused by the Light Fury ,but ,there is one problem..no one knows on how to catch a Light Fury.
