Chapter 3: The Land of Greeks and Honey pt 2

Washington- Train station

Thalia was looking over the group that they had and their current situation as they all boarded onto this convenient train that was transporting all top-of-line cars from sports cars to SUVs.

'The wannabe skeletors are hunting us down and we still have to decipher this prophecy. We got Annie, Stuck Up Little Miss Hunter, Bianca, Grover, and Kelpheads Percy.' Thalia thought as her frown got more annoyed but then it made some kind of sense for the prophecy.

'But still sneaking onto a quest is just stupid.'

Annabeth was currently thinking about the prophecy as a whole and breaking it down.

"Six shall go west to the goddess in chains, one shall be found in the land without rain. The band of Olympus shows the trail, campers and hunters combined prevail alongside a swirling whirlpool. Titans curse must one withstand, one may perish to a parent's hand."

'One shall be found in the land without rain? But we're already a six since Percy caught up. Should there be 7 people on this quest?'

Percy and Grover were both in their own car trying to catch some sleep after all of the running and fighting today they were exhausted, but as they too fell into the sandman's realm they were afflicted with dreams of Pan and Percy Jackson's sword origins.

Zoe was preparing her equipment once again whilst she had the time.

'Milady just hold on; we shall see you safe. Even if I must burn down my past, even at the cost of my life, we shall see you free once more.' Zoe vowed silently as a tear rolled down her scarred cheek.

Bianca was already in the realm of the sandman and she was having her 2nd ever-demigod dream

A mouth of fire

A flurry of blades.

Whiskered-like marks on his cheeks

Spiky red hair

A cheeky grin

This teen stood back to back with a younger blonde girl as they fought off monsters together.

'He feels hollow?' Bianca thought as she kept getting an odd feeling from the guy she kept dreaming of.

Minato's & Lacy's Home

Naruto began looking around his family's home after dusting some dust off of his shoulder.

'Hmm that must be, from the plaster and brick,' Naruto thought before chuckling to himself as he thought of that Jay-Z song last year or so.

"Now let's look through this mess," Naruto spoke to himself as he looked over the destroyed house. The teen delinquent figured if Lacy remembered what he told her a couple of years ago. He knew where to go looking through the destroyed banisters and up the stairs to the next floor. As he reached the bottom of the stairs though there was a framed photo of him and his sister.

'My first Halloween in the U.S.,' he thought to himself before those same memories came forward of that time.

2 Years Earlier

"Trick or Treat!" Lacy shouted as the front door opened and the young girl raised her jack 'O' lantern.

A middle-aged caucasian woman answered the door opening the door wide open as she looked over her latest trick-or-treaters.

"Aww what do we have here?" the woman inspected the young girl. "Well I'll be aren't we the cutest little tinkle bell." The woman praised the girl's tinkle bell-inspired outfit.

"Thank you, Mrs Taylor," Lacy responded cutely as she did a small twirl for the house a few doors down from her home.

"And who do we have here as well?" Mrs Taylor asked as she eyed the young teenager standing behind the young girl dressed rather flamboyantly and looked like he was bored.

"That's my big brother Naruto, it's his first Halloween in the States."

"Ah I see, I suppose he let you dress him up."

"Yup."

"I see," the woman giggled as she turned around to grab a huge bowl and returned to start filling Lacy's lantern with some candy. "My my such a sweet big brother and Lacy such fabulous taste as usual." The woman praised.

"Come on Naruto it's your turn."

"Hai hai nee-chan," Naruto answered in Japanese as he stepped forward and extended his own hand with his hollowed-out lantern.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries the duo left Mrs Taylors front yard and continued down the block and back making quite a substantial haul. Lacy was having the time of her life whenever her brother flew over, they would go on wild adventures, and no one not even her dad fought off the monsters the way Naruto would.

As the duo were making the way home they had to come to a stop as a small group of teenagers on pedal bikes came to a skidding halt in front of the two. "Well would you look at that face, that's a face I haven't seen in a long time." One of the teens said.

Naruto just raised an eyebrow as he blankly stared at the gang. Who all looked a few years older than himself.

"Lacy, tu connais ces abrutis?" Naruto asked in French knowing his sister was bilingual encouraged him to pick it up 'Bilingual at four my sister might be an undercover genius or blessed by the gods or something.' The teen thought before returning his focus to the moronic trio on bikes before him and his sister.

"Ils sont méchants et s'en prennent à tout le monde dans le quartier."

Naruto focused on the front guy's face pale, freckles, dirty blonde hair blue eyes and some fluff starting to grow underneath his chin.

"Ah ha!" He shouted as he pointed at the boy. "Your Freddy, I beat you up last year for picking on my sister."

"Shut up you sucker punched me!" Freddy shouted as he hopped off his bike and went to stand in Naruto's face.

"To be fair you were pulling on her pigtails and you kinda asshole that day," Naruto said with a smirk as he watched the pale boy becoming more like a tomato from his anger.

"Come on Naru let's go he's not worth it." Lacy tried to pull her brother away from the local bullies.

"Hey, look at all the pink he is got on." One of the other kids pointed out. "You gay or something you let your sister dress you up in that lame outfit?"

Lacy stood behind her brother upset at the older teenagers for mocking her brother

"Lame?" Naruto asked the older kids. "What part of this is lame?" he responded to the jeering as he stretched out his arms showing off the clothes that his sister put together from him. "As far as I'm concerned this is the second-best outfit on this entire block!" the Japanese teen shouted and declared loudly slightly embarrassing his sister and stirring something awake.

"Whatever, we're still going to beat you up," Freddy shouted before trying to swing a wild hook at the younger teen.

The punch connected flush turning Naruto's head slightly to the left. Without even turning his head back with Freddy's fist still indented in his cheek his artic blue eyes looked directly into the older boys.

"That the best you got? You call that a punch?" Naruto spoke coldly, as he reared his right hand back. "Nah this, this is a punch," Naruto emphasised his point as his fist connected with the 15-16-year-old jaw that launched him back to his friends.

Naruto quickly placed his lantern of candy on the floor before throwing a quick reassuring smile to his sister, before diving headfirst into the three boys. The three boys tried to overwhelm the younger, but he was too strong, and too fast the older teenagers, never stood a chance.

Lacy was enthralled her brother was her hero watching him fight, was like watching the superheroes fighting the baddies on Saturday mornings or when then the knights rescue the princess.

'What is that noise?' Lacy thought as she saw more people starting to peak their heads out to look at the commotion.

As Naruto continued to fight a fifth figure rushed in running into and knocking over all four boys.

To the neighbours and the bullies, it looked like an even older teenager, who looked very grimy. But to Lacy and Naruto, it was a youngish-looking one-eyed monster.

"I'm so hungry, tonight I shall dine on the flesh of a demigod!" the monster roared.

"Demigod?" Naruto muttered as he struggled to his feet 'Gah I feel like I got ran over by a van.' The bloodied blonde thought as he looked over towards his sister. '.

The boy's vision was swimming as he focused large back of some kind of monster staring down at his sister.

"Kuso," Naruto cursed as he quickly grabbed one of the bikes and threw it with all of his might before dashing after the monster when it took a step towards his sister.

The bike smashed into the back of the monster's left knee making it buckle and stumble.

Naruto slid through the monster's legs, his core already coiled like a spring. His legs lashed out with a double stomp to the monster's ugly face, his feet connecting with the monster's lower jaw, which sent it stumbling backwards.

"Ca va, Lace?"

"Tout va bien mon frère," Lacy squeaked out which made her brother snort.

"Ha!" Naruto laughed with pride. "Damn, straight you are all good because your big bro is here." The blonde was eyeing the monster as it regained its balance and focused on him.

"You, you don't smell like a demigod, but we will eat all the same!" One-Eye charged towards them.

The temporary blonde looked around and saw more people coming out of their homes.

'I need some assistance if I'm going to put this guy down.' The teen thought as he glanced toward his sister. "Lacy grab the lanterns and don't let go," Naruto ordered he was determined to maintain the bounty they collected over the last 4 hours.

"Right," Lacy listened and scooped up her brother's lantern.

As soon as his lantern was off the ground, so was Lacy's as Naruto swept her up into his arms as he began to run dashing down the street, with charging Cyclops hot on their heels.

20 Minutes Later

Naruto sat on the edge of the bathtub. His blonde hair was matted down and slicked down with blood. He had a large gash above his right eyebrow that had only recently stopped bleeding.

"You can't keep getting hurt this bad."

Naruto looked towards his right only to see in the doorway he saw his sister.

"Hehe, It's fine baby sis. Those chumps got nothing on me," Naruto smiled a bloody grin and raised his arms to try and flex.

Lacy's eyes narrowed as she slid over to her brother and poked him in the rips gently.

Naruto's eyes widened as his mouth didn't obey him and he let out a low to cracking high pitch scream.

"You're fine, huh?"

"Sassy seven-year-old," Naruto responded along with some side eyes. "Look I wasn't going to let those guys diss this awesome costume you made for me." Naruto as he stood off of the edge of the tub.

Lacy looked over his obnoxiously large pink boa, broken red sunglasses, a formerly white button shirt now stained with blood orange trousers bloodied dyed blonde hair.

"What did you call him again Duffy?" Lacy asked as she looked back up to her brother's injured face, turning to ruffle in the cabinet for something to help.

'I am so glad I won Rock Paper Scissors,' "Doffy," Naruto answered after a light chuckle that didn't hurt his bruised ribs. "And how was I supposed to know the one eyes were going to turn up," Naruto said as he reached over Lacy's head and grabbed the antiseptic she was struggling to grab along with the cotton ball before handing them to his sister with a smile as he allowed her to take care of him.

Lacy just beamed as she began to dab the antiseptic-soaked cotton balls onto his wounds. A noise occurred which paused the two's actions for second but then after nothing happened they continued on with what they were doing.

While his sister tended to him the whiskered face teen glanced outside the bathroom window, noting that while yes, he did destroy the backyard and the shed.

'I'm sure Dad would understand. When he sees the oni.'

Outside in the garden pinned facing down on the ground was the Cyclops only major difference was the gardening tools ranging from shears, barbed wire, and metal poles. The contents of the entire shed had been emptied into the monster and Naruto couldn't think of how to kill it.

'It just keeps regenerating, even now I bet it's still twitching. Maybe the sun will kill it.' Naruto thought for a whole two seconds before shaking his head at the idea. "Wishful fucking thinking," the teen muttered.'

"Hmm did you say something?"

"Nah nothing squirt. OW. thanks for that go easy on the open cuts brat," Naruto teased before a pebble hit the bathroom window once again. "Ok I know I heard something this time," the boy said as he reached for the bathroom window and opened it only for his eyes to widen at the dissolving cyclops and the woman standing next to where its head used to be.

"Nice fighto boya!" A Japanese woman who spoke engrish at him "So kid what kind of woman is your type?" she asked in actual Japanese this time.

"Huh? Who are you?" Naruto shouted back, even though he looked down at the strange woman who hadn't stopped smirking at him, and who had just thrown him a flirty wink which is sister happened to see.

'Annoyed sister aside, I got a feeling my boredom is about to be totally flipped on its head."

Present Time

Naruto snapped out of memory lane as he reached the top of the stairs and reached for the 2 rooms down on the right between their father's room and the room where he stays whenever he visits.

As he entered his sister's room, he noted it was a mix of pink and orange.

'Our favourite colours eh.' He chuckled at the thought before he reached for his sister's smashed vanity mirror and grabbed a hairbrush as he also sent a text message to his godfather informing him Minato was missing officially.

Olympus- Apollo's Temple

Apollo was currently working overtime, trying to search for his sister while still pulling the sun across the sky.

'I know you're tough but give me a sign, Arte.' Apollo thought as he scoured the world with his sight.

The Sun god searched for his sister he came across an interesting sight a monster being launched out of a home that held no divine energy in it whatsoever.

'What do we have here?" Apollo said as he frowned the sun focused its light a little more on the recently destroyed house.

'A brother trying to find his baby sister.' "Oh, I hear that bud. And maybe I need to secure some insurance." Apollo thought before speaking aloud to himself smiling a bright grin that his golden temple seemed to reflect.

The god quickly cupped his hands together while bringing his hands to his mouth as spoke.

"Young mortal," the god whispered. The words formed a small orb of fire. "See with thine eyes oh mortal born and burdened with clear sight," the god sang into his palms feeding the orb more and more.

Apollo's grin widened almost to a manic degree before he clapped his hands together seemingly extinguishing the flames at the same time

"When Order is getting in the way of things, add a little chaos to mix," Apollo said as he thought back to his predecessor's last words to him. 'Helios bro you are missed' "Now let's gamble on the little mortal."

Lacy's & Minato's Home

"Something to track with later," Naruto muttered as he stashed the hairbrush in his bag before giving the room one last look over before heading out towards his father's study at the end of the hall.

After entering the equally destroyed room, the teen glanced around before he began flipping through the obvious stuff.

"Come on old geezer what's going on?" Naruto said as he cleared the desk of dust and debris but came across several schematics for a machine.

'What's project Skyfall?' "And who the hell are Sons of the Skyfather? SoS really? Were you investigating them Dad for some reason? A guide of how to request an audience with the fates." Naruto had questions but that was for another time the teen pulled out his phone and began taking photos of everything.

'Pop's is next but I'm gonna need Jiraiya. Focus on Lacy for now.' Naruto thought before he noticed something in the corner of his eye.

The fireplace in the office began smoking before embers started to form.

"What the fuck?" Naruto asked as the embers burst and became a mighty flame.

The teen blinked once and then a second time.

"The fuck is this?"

"Young mortal. See with thine eyes oh mortal born and burdened with clear sight," A deep voice boomed seemingly out of the fire.

The fire morphed, twisted, grew, and shrank until it formed a kind of gateway made of flames.

Naruto stayed silent only backing up slightly just in case he needed to hit the dash.

"I have glanced into your future, and while I cannot determine your sister's safety, I can safely say your sister's fate may be linked to my sister's fate, if you want the best odds of saving anyone you must step through these flames."

Naruto looked at the flames, the view seemed to show a group of kids running away from a giant metal person.

"Those kids are my best bet?" Naruto muttered to himself in Japanese disbelief written all over the teen's face.

"Just know this if you do this you will be in this world completely," the flames warned.

'Did he just speak in my language?' "Ah you are cultured I see are you sure you are not a Shinto deity? Kagu-tsuchi?" Naruto asked as he was pleasantly surprised about the language change.

"Nah kiddo just spent some time their back in the day."

"Kiddo? Ah, you're right Shinto gods wouldn't get so familiar with someone they barely know." Naruto responded slightly annoyed and being called kiddo before he started considering the fire things offer.

'Could be a trap, but if I know it's a trap then does that make it still a trap?' Naruto wondered and after a couple of seconds, he gave up.

"Bah, who cares if it's a trap, I'll just beat up the fire voice and keep it moving. I'm a high school delinquent planning ain't my thing." Naruto shouted before grabbing a couple of the journals left on Dad's desk and putting them on top of the fox teddy bear and hairbrush in his bag.

"Look I was dragged into this world as soon as my old man met Lacy's mother, so as far im concerned this ain't nothing new." Naruto muttered quietly before a look of determination crossed his face. "If this is a trap fire man I don't care if you are cultured, I'm gonna kick your teeth in!" Naruto yelled as ran into the fire-like veil with no fear as he passed through the flames disappearing into the orange void.

"No wait!" the voice shouted but it was too late for the teen had already leapt into the portal. 'I still need to move the portal to the floor, oh well. I feel like if he survives this it's going to make the next century or so very interesting.'

Junkyard of the Gods

The small group of 1 hunter, 1 satyr and four demigods were currently running from a giant metal automaton. The ground quaked with every step the god-made monster made its behemoth-like sword inspired nothing but fear.

The second eldest of the group chronologically was cursing herself for taking the mythomagic toy for her brother while the others were panicking at the sight of the apparent prototype Talo's.

"Annie, we need a plan," Thalia shouted as she just launched another thunderbolt from her spear at the thing hoping to slow down the machine only for the stunning effect to only slow it down for a couple of seconds. The daughter of the King felt a disturbance in the sky above them all. "What the hell is that?" Thalia said as she looked up and saw a disc of fire spiral into existence above the metal giant.

"KICK YOUR TEETH IN" The members of the quest all heard the threat as the disc of flames seemingly pulsated spitting out something in the direct path of the automaton.

With Naruto up in the sky he had just been ejected from the fire portal thing and was currently on a heads-up collision course with the animated golden statue.

Quickly gathering his wits the teen tapped into his instincts as he tucked his legs into his chest, using his moment to build up speed as he rolled in the air.

Prototype or not Greek smith god did not play around with his invention in terms of physical prowess and combat ability. As Proto-Talos turned on a dime brought its sword to block the incoming projectile.

Naruto was forced to lash out earlier and grunted as his leg smashed into the flat side of the imperial golden sword, denting and warping the metal. The teen connected hard, pushing the automaton with such force it actually steps backwards unable to fully handle the force.

'It's too big and blunt to be enough sharp against some like me.' Naruto analysed the sword as he currently had one foot burrowing into the blade before he raised his left leg and dropped a picture-perfect axe kick with such ferocity the blade knocked from the automaton's grip. This caused the automaton to stumble backwards and fall into a huge mound of scrap metal. The sword impaled into the ground tip first at an awkward angle just in front of the questing group. At the same time, Naruto was also falling be he angled himself to slide down the flat of the sword.

"Ahh, so it wasn't a trap," Naruto said as he stretched his limbs, his joints making audible pops.

"Alright, now where are those weirdo kids?" Naruto said as he began to look around to turn around and be met with an arrow and spear in his face. The redhead teens face went from relaxed to annoyed in an instant quickly kicking the spear upwards forcing the punk rock girl to stumble backwards, and in the same breath Naruto dodged an arrow that was launched his way.

Zoe bit back a curse as Percy and Annabeth jumped into the fray.

Naruto just smirked as the boy and girl came at him with a sword and knife combo.

'These guys are good! They must train every day together. One attacks the other defends.' Naruto's smirk became a full-blown grin as he ducked under a horizontal sword swing from the boy and managed to still kick the girl away, before he leapt up into the air, connecting flush against Percy's nose with a pump knee strike before Naruto kicked the younger boy away, while also launching themselves backwards to avoid a bolt of lightning that came from the sky.

Percy was launched into Thalia who had just tried to fry their latest enemy and they fell in a tangled mess of limbs.

Naruto came to a skidding halt as he looked up only to see an arrow, moments from burying itself deep in his eye.

'Fuck!' Naruto thought as he ducked once more as he felt the arrow breeze through his hair and rip through some of his clothes. 'If my Toman jacket is torn I'm killing someone, I hate owing money to the 1st division,' Naruto thought before he weaved another arrow.

Grover could only look on in fear. Whoever this person was they were a monster something about them tapped into his survival instincts.

'I've seen him before?' Bianca thought as she tried to remember when she saw this person when she had never met them before. "Wait, guys." The girl tried to get their attention but the the hunter and the new person were determined to fight it out.

Naruto made a dash ducking and weaving every arrow as he attempted to close the distance.

'Whose parent is this kid, it feels like trying to hit the demigods of old,' Zoe cursed once again as she gave up on range as the mystery person was closing in on her fast. The former herisphide drew her trusty hunting knives as she readied for a clash with this boy.

"I SAID STOP!" Bianca shouted her eyes going black and her shadow had extended connecting to both Zoe's shadow and the boy's shadow immobilising them.

Zoe's eyes widened as she had her knives drawn they weren't in the position to defend herself in time from the redhead teen's fist.

Naruto was stopped his fist was a few inches off from crashing into Zoe's temple.

The two locked eyes, she frowned, and he smirked. This was far from over.

"Bianca, are we stopping?" Annabeth asked.

"Dreams, prophecy." Bianca struggled to get out as she was struggling to stop the two from moving more of the redhead.

Naruto's fist was less than a millimetre away from connecting to the tiara-wearing girl.

'Whatever she is doing to me can't restrain me for long.' Naruto thought

Annabeth eyes widened "Guys she's right stop."

Zoe eyes widened as she felt control over her body return as she hopped back away from the older-looking teen.

Bianca then collapsed to the floor out of breath as her own shadow returned to its natural length and the redhead's punch continued unabated as the momentum caused the teen to spin around.

'Now I should probably say something,' "You attacked me first." Naruto spoke in English slowly to make sure he wasn't misunderstood.

Before anyone else could get a word in the sound of scrap metal could be heard and the teenagers, the satyr and the immortal all turned to look, with wide eyes, at the prototype of Talos standing back up with a dented face and its right arm sparking and hanging limply out of its shoulder socket.

"Oh for crying out loud," Percy shouted "You were just killed, why can't you just accept that you're dead already."

Bianca will be using shadows to fight I need my three dead kids fighting together at some point.

Naruto power reveal is coming soonish I still haven't locked in the final details quite yet
