As does one Dr. Tolian Soran, who'd last been aboard when the crew pulled him from the grip of the Nexus.

A late night comm call declares a family emergency. Spock receives an urgent request to return home. When he returns, bringing Kirk and Bones, what will they find? Is Amanda ill? Is it Sarek's heart again? And what is that crying noise in the background?
