Summary: Zheko and Nona Vagen, better known as Zheko and Echo, were a pair of twin mercenaries who earned a reputation of being the youngest amongst the Expandables. It was a personal battle between the Expendables and its former co-founder Conrad Stonebanks. During the takedown, Zheko and Echo were poisoned by Stonebanks with no known antidote. They push through the aches and pains, and finish the fight only to die on the ride home.
The twins 'wake' in an alternate universe as the Gilbert twins with all of the former memories and training. The Vagen twins will never admit it, but TVD was a guilty pleasure of theirs.
AN: Isobel had twins; Elena and Jeremy. The Expendables/TVD Reborn story. Nona will not resemble Elena exactly, some of Nona's features will bleed into Elena's. Same with Zheko/Jeremy.
