A/N So this is my new story. I think I like this story a little more than my other one. I think I have to work the bugs out but this story I feel like is more up my speed. I'll still update can we change but I make redo some stuff. Please forgive any mistakes.

Chapter 1

It was a beautiful day. It was the last summer morning. The birds were chirping and the sun was shining on a small two story house. In the house lived three superhero girls and a scientist by the name of John Utonium. Eighteen years ago Professor Utonium was trying to create the perfect little girls. He wanted so desperately to become a father so he went to his lab and mixed sugar, spice, and everything nice together but he accidentally added another ingredient CHEMICAL X. It was an accident he never regretted because he did in fact create the perfect little girls.

Blossom was the commander and leader. She has long, fiery red-orange, waist-length hair with a triangular part and bangs and pink eyes. When she was younger she used to don a pink dress that had a black stripe in the middle with white tights and black Mary Janes. She still has a red bow on the top of her head and a heart-shaped hair-clip. As the smartest member and leader of the Powerpuff Girls she is often seen as the most mature, level-headed and composed member of the group. She can also be fussy, overbearing, vain and overly analytical at times. She tends to protect Bubbles and Buttercup, and often tries to play peacemaker between the two if they were to fight, but ironically, she is quick to argue with Buttercup who acts on impulse as opposed to her analytical nature. She is naturally caring to mainly her sisters, but also the Professor who she sees as a father.

Buttercup was known as the toughest fighter. Buttercup had short black hair in a flip with a small triangular part on her forehead when she was younger. As she got older her hair grew a bit just mid shoulder. She has lime green eyes and used to dress in a lime green dress that had a black stripe in the middle of it. Buttercup also wore white tights and black Mary Jane shoes with her dress. Buttercup is a fun-loving tomboy. Out of Buttercup's whole list of dislikes, her greatest dislike is losing. She will always refuse to admit defeat, unlike Blossom and Bubbles. Despite her tomboyish nature and brash attitude, Buttercup never seems to be uncomfortable in her own gender, and still behaves ladylike where necessary. She gets furious the moment her family is threatened.

Bubbles was the joy and laughter. Bubbles is seen as having blonde hair in two pigtails and a neat, curved fashion and sky blue eyes. When she was younger she used to wear dresses that were sky blue with a black-centered stripe and she wore white tights and black Mary Janes. Through the years her hair grew longer way past her back much to Blossoms dismay but she still kept them in her signature pigtails. Bubbles does have a tendency to be overly emotional, despite having a habit to be ditzy, naïve and sensitive, leading to her sometimes being regarded as the group's weakest link, by friends and foes alike. She can be quite prone to tears. However, she can become very independent and aggressive, let alone extremely mad when tempted. Through the years she has become more mature and learned how to control her emotions.

The girls were eighteen and just graduated high school. They were going to college now and Professor Utonium was sad to see his little girls leave. They had gotten accepted to Townsville college which was on the other side of town. They could just fly there everyday but then they wouldn't experience being young adults being on their own. They wanted roommates and wanted to get jobs that actually paid them unlike crime fighting. Blossom was studying biology and chemistry. She wanted to be a scientist just like the professor. She wanted to help the world in a different way. By making vaccines for certain viruses and curing cancer. Buttercup wanted to be a physical therapist for a famous sports team. She wanted to help the underdogs and champions get back on their feet to play something they love. She knew she wasn't going to be able to be in the big leagues since people would say she was cheating due to her powers. At least this way she would be able to still be close to the games and help as well. Bubbles wanted to be a fashion designer. She was great at designing clothes when she was in high school then she took up sewing classes and learned how to actually make the material and now she wants to be a famous designer. She was ambitious and she knew she could do it.

The girls were packing up their cars. The professor had been saving up to get them all their own cars. He surprised them when they had just graduated high school. He bought Blossom a cute pink 2016 Toyota Corolla with leather seats. Buttercup had a green 2017 Mustang everything was detailed to perfection. He bought Bubbles a small little blue 2018 Subaru cross trek. They packed their cars with their bags and looked at the professor. Bubbles was crying while Buttercup and Blossom were simply trying to hurry things along as they all hugged the professor.

"We are going to miss you professor." Bubbles cried out.

The professor chuckled, "Oh bubbles I'm just a two hour drive or an hour fly away oh and a simple text away as well."

Bubbles cried even harder. The professor went to comfort Bubbles some more while Blossom and Buttercup sighed as they finished loading up their cars. Bubbles sniffled as Buttercup pulled her away from the professor. Bubbles whined as she finished packing her car up. When they finished they gave the Professor one more hug and then all got in their cars and drove to their new home. The college was Townsville University. It was a huge campus and the dorms were huge. Everyone was assigned a roommate. The girls were so excited to be independent and actually grown up. Their whole life they had been treated like little girls but then they also helped stop crime. The girls were taking a break from crime. They wanted to just be regular eighteen year old's who went to college and worked normal jobs. It took them two and a half hours to get to the campus. Traffic was horrible. The parking lot was huge; it looked as if it could fit more than three-hundred cars. There were so many cars already parked in the lot closest to the dorm building that the girls were finding it hard to find anything. The girls did in fact eventually find parking spots at the very end of the parking lot. They were at the dorms but the walk was going to take forever. Good thing they had super speed. The dorm house was four stories and it was huge. It could easily fit more than four hundred students and then some. The sisters all looked at their phones and checked the schools website where it had their dorm numbers and roommates name.

"Well I'll be in dorm 103 and my roommate's name is Cathy." Blossom announced.

Buttercup groaned, "I'll be in room 205 my roommates name is Syd can't wait ugh."

"Hmm welp I'll be in room 307 with Robin!" Bubbles exclaimed.

Blossom gasped, "What! How did you get away with that?"

Bubbles shrugged, "Just lucky I guess. We should start unpacking. It's going to get dark soon."

Buttercup grinned, "I bet I can finish unpacking faster than you three."

"You're on." Blossom smirked.

The two sisters got into a running start while Bubbles reluctantly did the same. Buttercup counted down to one and so the race began. Blossom and Buttercup jetted back and forth from their cars to their new dorms. Bubbles took her time and decided it was not in her best interest to get involved with her competing sisters. At the end of the day Buttercup won which led to Blossom arguing with Buttercup for a good ten minutes. All the dorms were the same; they had two beds split. One side for each roommate and the rooms were all painted the same white and beige.

Blossom decided to go to sleep early since her roommate hadn't arrived and she wanted to wake up early to find her classes. Buttercup on the other hand decided to skateboard around the campus. She wanted to do something active before heading to bed. Luckily her roommate wasn't there yet. Bubbles decorated her room a bit and unpacked as well. She was excited. Robin was going to arrive tomorrow and they were going to get breakfast together and then look for their classes together. The three sisters were excited and couldn't wait to start their adult college life and felt it was going to be a fun ride.

The next morning Buttercup and Blossom were in Bubbles' room already complaining about their roommates. Blossom's roommate was named Cathy Hans. She was a tall brunette, with a sun kiss tan she had brown eyes and a horrible attitude. The first thing she said to her was that she didn't care if she was a superhero and that she demanded respect. Blossom also stated she was on the phone with her friends the moment she got there. Buttercup on the other hand was pissed her roommate Syd was a pale gothic chick she wore all black and blasted loud rock music the moment she arrived waking Buttercup out of her sleep. She was a tall, short black haired chick with piercings all over her face. She didn't even apologize for waking her just popped her gum loudly and unpacked her stuff while still having her music blasting. Bubbles looked at her sisters tiredly and yawned as they complained.

"GIRLS!" Blossom and Buttercup quieted down and looked to Bubbles who was rubbing the tired out of her eyes. "Calm down, they just arrived and I'm sure they are just trying to get adjusted." Bubbles explained.

Buttercup scowled, "Ugh screw it I'm going to take a shower and get some breakfast."

"I'll just take a shower and find my classes then head to get some coffee." Blossom stated.

Bubbles gave a small smile, "Good you girls figured it out. Robin should be here soon so I'm going to pick my outfit."

Blossom sighed and reluctantly left to go shower. Each floor had a bathroom where the girls could shower and brush their teeth etc. She hated that she couldn't have a room and bathroom for herself. It was annoying and she knew she was going to hate that little aspect about living in a dorm. She checked her room and saw Cathy was gone so Blossom quickly changed into a pair of blue jean shorts and a pink blouse. She wore her hair in a high ponytail with her bow intact. She grabbed her purse, keys, and phone. She got her schedule up and started searching for her classes. She was taking six biology classes, lectures and labs. She had two lectures Monday, and two labs Tuesday ,Wednesday she had a lecture, and Thursday was her last lab. Blossom looked around campus and couldn't help but look in awe. The campus was huge and she knew she was going to get lost. It took her a whole hour to find all of her classes.

She looked at the time and saw it was just nine in the morning. She found the school's bookstore happy that the coffee shop was connected. She happily bought herself a danish and hot coffee. She grabbed an interesting teen drama fiction and sipped on her coffee and munched on her danish. While nibbling on her danish Blossom felt a chill up her spine she shrugged it off but had a weird eerie feeling. She looked around but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. She went back to reading her novel and munching on her danish.

Buttercup was not happy she was not going to let her roommate push her out of her room. She went back to her room and decided to lay on her bed. Her roommate Syd was still there blasting music. It irritated Buttercup so much she almost blasted her loud ass bluetooth with her laser eyes. Syd chuckled and turned the music down and turned to Buttercup with a smirk on her face. Buttercup glared as Syd chuckled, causing Buttercup to almost hurl a fireball at her.

"The famous Buttercup I'm surprised you didn't destroy my bluetooth." Syd stated.

Buttercup frowned, "What do you mean?"

Syd grinned, "Come on I know you're hot tempered. Sorry about that, just wanted to see if you'd obliterate my Bluetooth with your laser eyes. My name's Syd Grimes. I'm majoring in computer gaming."

"Buttercup, I'm majoring in physical therapy. I know it's surprising."

Syd laughed, "Oh man just wait till I tell my boyfriend the hardcore Buttercup is doing physical therapy. He loved you when he was a kid. Anyways, want to head out to find our classes and maybe get some breakfast?"

Buttercup snorted, "And here I thought I was going to hate you."

Syd winked and grabbed some clothes leaving to take a quick shower. Buttercup rolled her eyes and grabbed her stuff and went to shower and brush her teeth. It took her and Syd a good forty minutes to shower and get dressed. Buttercup chose a pair of black shorts and a green tank top. She wore some combat shoes and wore her hair in a ponytail. Syd wore an oversized black shirt and black tights with black tennis shoes. She had black makeup on and her hair was all over the place. She gave Buttercup a once over and grabbed her rollerblades. Buttercup grinned and grabbed her skateboard. They both raced to the front and started looking for their classes. It took them a good two hours more because they were chatting and getting to know each other.

Buttercup told Syd her class schedule which was early morning classes for english on monday, early classes for algebra on tuesday, early classes on wednesday for pathophysiology, and evening classes for anatomy and physiology 1 lecture thursdays, and evening classes for her anatomy and physiology 1 lab classes on friday. She then learned for the time being that Syd was taking her general classes like English and also trigonometry and basic programming classes. Syd worked at this crystal and incense store. It was a calming and chill place for her and the customers were pretty cool as ended up skating to the college's cafeteria.

It was its own building showing off buffets of different food. Syd skated her way to the breakfast buffet while Buttercup decided to look at the lunch buffet. They were just setting it up since it was hitting eleven-thirty in the morning. While picking out her food Buttercup felt a chill up her spine. She looked around but saw nothing out of the ordinary. She shrugged and finished plaiting her food and found Syd at a corner table. She sped over to her food in one hand and skateboard in another. She continued to stay on edge but still enjoyed her food and conversing with Syd.

Bubbles squealed as she ran to her best friend. Robin Snyder had brown hair with fringe that went past her waist. She had pretty light blue eyes. She had matured a lot, she had gotten taller and she was a lot more lewd as the years went on. She had been the sister's friend for ten years to be exact. Robin was always there for her friends if anything she was like a fourth sister then a friend to the girls. They did everything together but she and Bubbles personalities just became more similar through the years. When she got accepted to Townsville University Robin and Bubbles made sure to talk to the housing department to make them roommates. Lucky for them the main housing guy loved Bubbles so he didn't hesitate to make them roommates.

Robin smiled as she hugged her superhero best friend. The girls got their room together decorating it and setting up their computers and TV. The room was spacious enough for their little decorations. Robin even bought a cute welcome mat that said dorm sweet dorm. Bubbles flew and set up LED lights to make things even more cute. It took them three hours to finish up their dorm and it looked so cute. They had the lights, cute little blue night stands, their names were hung up on their respective side on their wall. Bubbles bought them matching bunny sheets for their beds as well. Robin and Bubbles were having the best time.

"Bubbles I'm starving." Robin announced.

Bubbles giggled, "Same here, hmm want to go to the school cafeteria and eat?"

Robin rolled her eyes, "No way we are going to be eating here all day when classes start let's go out it's lunch time so how about burgers?"

Bubbles huffed, "Robin I'm trying to you know not get fat."

"Haha okay Bubs I'll get the burger and we'll get you a salad…and a milkshake?" Robin suggested.

Bubbles smirked, "You know me so well."

Robin laughed and stretched. They decided to take quick showers and then drive to the burger shop. Bubbles was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a cute white shirt with a blue bunny on it. She decided on flip flops with her hair in her natural two pigtails. Robin was wearing a cute orange skirt and blue crop top showing off her belly and then some. She had her hair down and cute black slippers to finish her outfit. Bubbles decided to take her car and sped to said burger shop. It was nice and small, no one was there. Bubbles found a nice booth in the back while Robin ordered. Bubbles looked around and thought this would be a cute little place to take her sisters. Robin came back with the food after ten minutes and sat Bubbles salad and milkshake down. Bubbles smiled and thanked her. She looked at Robin's triple burger with fries and a milkshake and frowned.

"Really Robin."

Robin laughed, "Girl you know I don't get fat it all goes to my ass and titties."

Bubbles almost spat out her shake but she controlled it. Robin was so extra one day she wanted to diet the next day she wanted to eat what she wanted. Robin crammed her burger and fries down as if she's never eaten before.

"Robin, calm down it's not going anywhere."

"Hehe look I'm just getting a headstart in my profession."

Bubbles tilted her head, "You're in school to be a journalist, what does eating have to do with anything?"

Robin slurped down her milkshake and gave Bubbles a look. "Sex appeal. I mean come on I may have first dibs on the scoop for you girls when you're fighting but come on without sex appeal no one is going to pay attention to me."

Bubbles rolled her eyes, "Ugh whatever Robin I'd watch you no matter what."

Robin gave a small smile, "That's why I love you Bubs."

Bubbles and Robin finished up a few minutes afterwards. Robin paid and they drove back to the dorm. It was almost two and so they decided to look for their classes. While looking, Bubbles felt an eerie chill up her spine. She looked around but saw nothing strange. She gave a confused look but went about her business.

At the end of the day Blossom was exhausted; she spent all day trying to get a head start on her classes. She decorated her side of the room, setting up her own night stand and mini bookshelf. She set up a studying desk for her laptop for when she needed to study and do homework. She also had a hanger set up for her many winter and fall jackets. They had small little closets on each side of the room so Blossom stuffed her summer clothes in the closet. It was going to be very hot for the next few months so she had her other bags stuffed on the side in her closet. She was happy her roommate wasn't there; she could breath and relax. She set up her study desk with her textbooks and study lamp. Afterwards she changed into her cute pink shorts and pink polka dot shirt. She had pink slippers but decided to wear her fluffy white ones.

She was excited to start college classes starting tomorrow and she was ready for anything. Blossom decided to check on her sisters and see what they were up to. It was weird to her to spend the whole day by herself without any contact once so ever with them. She looked her room over and decided to check on her sisters before she headed to bed. When she opened the door, Bubbles was already there. Blossom gave a small smile and went to Bubbles' room where Robin was making hot cocoa and Buttercup was floating and drinking said hot cocoa. Blossom looked around amazed at the decorations. She looked at the LED lights and then their study desks. It all looked so cute. Blossom was a little jealous but she would never admit it. Blossom sat down on Bubbles bed and groaned. Robin handed her a mug with hot chocolate and whip cream. Blossom smiled and happily grabbed it. She looked and saw Robin, Bubbles, and even Buttercup all wearing matching silk robes. The only thing different were the colors. Bubbles was blue, Buttercups was green, and Robins was yellow. Blossom pouted it even had their names on the back. Bubbles giggled and flew over to Blossom giving her a pink silk robe. Blossom eagerly took it and put it on. She quickly hugged Bubbles and Robin thanking them. She knew Buttercup would never go shopping for clothes willingly.

Buttercup rolled her eyes."I can't believe you girls bought these robes ugh they're so girly."

Blossom frowned, "No they're cute and adorable. So how was your girl's day?"

Robin laughed, "We had a great day. Me and Bubbles went to this cute burger place and then looked for our classes. We then came back and finished decorating our room. I'm thinking about getting a coffee table and some cute bean bag chairs."

"Omg yes it would be so cute!" Bubbles exclaimed.

Buttercup groaned, "Syd and I pretty much chilled all day. We had breakfast and found our classes. We then just went to the skate park and I met her boyfriend who was this big burly guy. He had a mohawk and piercings. He's pretty cool. He and I like the same rock bands. He then got us lunch at this pretty laid back restaurant. We ate and I flew off. Syd obviously wanted some alone time with her boyfriend. I came back here and ate dinner in the cafeteria and then went to my room."

Bubbles flew over to Buttercup and smiled, "You girls are getting along now! I'm so happy for you Buttercup."

Blossom sighed, "Well I still hate my roommate. But today was nice. I went to the library and got some coffee. Oh I found my classes and bought my textbooks. It was nice. I came back to my room, listened to some calming music and read. I then got hungry so I doordashed some tacos and watched the news."

Buttercup, who was floating and drinking her hot chocolate, rolled her eyes. "My goodness you're boring."

Robin giggled, "Oh girls actually did you hear there's a party tonight? We should go."

Blossom shook her head, "No, we have classes tomorrow."

Robin sighed, "Ugh I guess."

Blossom stood up and wished everyone a goodnight and went to her room. When she got back to her room Cathy was there on her phone and with the lights on. Blossom frowned and turned the lights off and got in her bed. Cathay huffed and turned the lights back on. Blossom looked at the time and saw it was nine at night. She had classes at seven in the morning. Blossom turned to her roommate and gave her the sweetest smile.

"Hey Cathy, I have classes tomorrow at seven in the morning. So could you please turn the lights off and please lower your voice."

Cathy frowned, "Excuse me but this is also my room and I am talking to my friend. If you decide to get snippy with me I will tell the headmaster that you used your powers and you will be expelled."

Blossom gasped, "What but I just asked you to cut the lights out and lower your voice."

"What a shame."

Cathy went back to her call leaving a pissed off Blossom to try and sleep with the lights on and her bitch roommate yap her mouth.

Buttercup was still in Bubbles and Robin's room. She was heading back to her room when she felt that eerie chill up her back. She groaned as she started to get irritated. She was sure something was wrong or danger was around. She wanted to check it out but decided to just leave it. Something was telling her to just go to sleep. When she got in her room she saw Syd was still gone. She was pretty sure she was probably at the party Robin was talking about. She decided to just head to sleep. She was so exhausted. She hopped in her bed and turned her lights out and closed her eyes, drifting off into a nice sleep.

Bubbles and Robin drank one more cup of hot chocolate before heading to bed. While they slept in the wee hours in the morning Bubbles got up having to pee. She walked down to the dorm bathroom and quickly went to pee. It was four in the morning when Bubbles felt that chill up her spine. She washed her hands and decided to walk down the hall. As she walked down the hall that chill started to get even worse. Bubbles walked down some more and stopped in front of the boys bathroom. She felt frightened when she touched the door knob and decided to fly away. She was way too scared to see what or who was behind the door. She was sure since nothing had happened yet that everything was fine.

The next day the girls all woke up bright and early ready to start their first day as college students and adults.
