A bundle of flowers book 2
Blurb: In which Percival tries his best to be nicer to his daughter, but his daughter isn't taken it serious she also isn't taking the magic serious at all.
Chapter 1 Hagrid and Magic Ally
"It looks dumb."
It looked magical when he was five. Narrowed streets and slopes that solid all sorts of goods of course it had a different name back then. A much different name back then.
"I rather not have anything to do with it. I want to go back home where everything is perfectly normal and things don't float."
There was a chicken floating in the sky and she wonder how the chicken got up there because last she checked chickens didn't float.
"Um."
"Magic ally," said Percival tucking his hands into his pockets.
"Is that a chicken."
"I do believe so. Now, come on off we go we've got shopping."
He took his daughter by her hand and the two walked off down the narrowed street.
"Where about are we?"
"Somewhere in Britain. Now, come on we've got to get your stuff. I've already been to the bank today so there's no need to see a bunch of grumpy goblins."
"Did you say goblins?" asked Rosemary.
"Oh, you know nothing special just nasty things with big pointed eats and green face."
"Like an alien?"
She's heard of strange creatures landing on the news, but never seen one. Her father thought didn't seem to know what she was talking about.
"A what?"
"An, alien."
"What? No, they're just a fairy."
She blinked at the thought fairies made no sense to her what so ever.
"Now, come on time to get your wand."
"I want to go home."
"I hate to tell you this Rosemary, but I don't think that no good aunt of yours wants you."
"Don't be ridiculous of course she does. She took me in."
"That was ages ago Rosemary times change and people change with it."
She didn't understand what her father was telling her of course her aunt wanted her. Of course, for she took her in to being with.
"Rosemary."
"Mr. Weasley. What can I serve yar?" asked the bar tenders.
Rosemary wasn't too sure where she was. Out of all the places her father took her to he took her to he took her to some run down old leaky cabin.
"Leaky cauldron, Rosemary. Just a few things I'm here to pickup something on behalf of the Headmistress."
"Percy Weasley how can I help here?" the bar tender asked.
"Got some work from Hogwarts. I'm here to pick up a few things, mainly that little gift Holly left before she died."
"About the future? Eh, you know who you need to see then. Hagrid might have some information about the matter. It might have everything you need to know about the future. That's if you can get him to open up. Hasn't been the same since the war. A bit more withdrawn. That lad Harry Potter often comes and visit him sometimes with that gang of his others times alone."
Harry name rang in her mind she felt as if she should've known about him. Should've met him, should've heard more about him then just the mere mentioned of meeting some shaggy run down old man. She huffed at the thought that her mother knew this Percy. She huffed at the thought her mother knew a Harry much less knew a shaggy old man. She folded her arms and demanded to go home.
"I wish to go home," she said stubbornly.
"And, who's this lass?" asked the bar tendered. Percival Weasley pinched the bridge of his nose.
"My daughter."
"With whom?" she asked the question raising an eyebrow.
"A friend from school."
She huffed again at the thought of her mother just being called a friend. Who did this man think he was? She wanted to stamp on his foot and run out the door. But she didn't know where she was or how she got here it all happened to fast because one moment she was crying about the lost of her family and then the next thing she knows she was here. Tough times for her. She sighed and kept her arms crossed glaring at the wooden counter in front of her.
"Well I be. Those rumours about you two are true."
"Unfortunately," muttered Percy her cheeks went red with anger. Great, now her own father thought she was a mistake. "Hagrid."
"Hag, rid get rid of it," she whispered to herself but kept it to herself after her father gave her a scowl of disappointment glare. "Fine I'll play nice."
"Ah, Mr. Weasley how can I help yar. And, who is this fine lass?"
"Rosemary meet Hagrid keeper of the keys at Hogwarts."
"Whatever. I'm Rosemary Dane." she said holding out her hand. "And, Hagrid if that is your real name then I must say you have mud on your nose."
Hagrid sniffer as he cleaned his nose and turned to look at Percival.
"Bit hash there eh? Wait, did yar say Dane?"
"Of course," she said proudly. "I'm Rosemary Holly Dane. I have you know I'm name after my mother unlike this nobody of a father."
She watched Percival choke on air.
"Dane eh? Eh, I knew your mother sweet child she was a proud Hufflepuff yellow was her colour. Although you've gotten yar father red hair instead of yar mother blonde hair."
"Huh. Mum was a blonde?"
"Sure was. A good seed to. Warned us about all sorts of trouble coming our way saved a lot of them too."
"Huh. Will, I have you know I'm not a seer."
"That's fine lass, but your mother was which reminds me this might be of use to you two."
Hagrid passed an old book to Percy, but Rosemary quickly grabbed it.
"Rosemary," Percy scowled.
"What? I want to see what's in it."
Percival pulled the novel away from Rosemary and tucked it into his suit he shake Hagrid hand.
"Thank you," Percy said to Hagrid. "Now, come on Rosemary."
"Yes, father," she said bitterly.
Chapter 2 Potter or a Dane
"So, my mother was a seer?" asked Rosemary after Percy and her gather her wand and robes.
"It's true she was. A very good one with a hint of a past life."
"Past life's?"
"You've lived before and let lived again. It's what the wizardly world been waiting on actually Holly Dane to return."
"Holly Dane? You really expect my mother to come back from the dead?"
"Yes," Percival said with pride.
"As in the walking dead?"
"Absolutely not. She will come back fresh with a new body and a new mind, but still with her past life memory in tack. Do you see the beauty in that?"
"No, not really," said Rosemary shivering at the thought.
"In other words she won't be a zombie after human brains," Percival said. "She will be a fresh daisy again."
"I think you're dreaming," said Rosemary her father turned to glare.
"I think you're closed minded. Now, do you have any idea why your aunt was cut out of the picture?"
"My aunt was not," she said to herself.
Of course she wasn't cut out of the picture Rosemary saw this as a fact. Of course, her mum wouldn't leave her sister to who knows where and why her mum would never do such a thing.
"Your aunt was because I've spent most of my time with your mother growing up as a child and as an adult to the point where I noticed that she was never there. So, explain?"
She blinked in shock at the news trying her best not to cry.
"I don't know. I've never thought about it before."
"Then explain another thing. Why Dudley?"
"Mother likes the name said it was a family name," said Rosemary.
"Crap. You're with the Potter family not Dane."
"Potter? I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to talk about my so-called uncle," Rosemary huffed.
"They were known for being abusers. Neglectful and could and we'll get physically violent. No, wonder what we're saying must be true the Dane spirits were rolling in their coffin they were upset with you and your situation."
"Aunt Petunia is not an awful person," said Rosemary.
"Then explain why she left you?"
"She went shopping," she said stamping her foot. "She never takes me there anyway. Beside it isn't so bad Dudley sneaks in cookies for me."
"Sneaks in? That's it you're seeing a healer."
"I don't want to," she whined as he pulled her by the hand.
Chapter 3
The healer sighed to herself as she her wand waved to allowed her quill to write on the paper which was attracted to a clipboard. Rosemary waited for the results her father stood beside her not even showing any hint of concern or worry for her. She kept on buffering and every time she did the healer kept on glances as if expecting her to be a bit broken at the new change. She truly wasn't. She was just furiously with her new change.
After all, how dare her aunt leave her with a stranger how dare she just abandon her. How dare she took Dudley and fled.
"She's a bit underweight, but other than that she's in good health. No, bruises or hit marks. Now, are we sure she's a Dane?"
"I'm not sure, there's a possible chance she might be a Potter since she was found with them."
"The Dane household didn't have any family members outside of their own. The Potter line been mostly dead for years. Lily and James both died before Harry was born leaving him in the care with a Vernon and Petunia Dursley."
"My aunt name Petunia," Rosemary said sounding so sure of herself.
"More likely a Potter will in a sense a Dursley," said the healer sounding disgusted at the thought. "Anywho for the most part you're free to go."
"Thank you, come along Rosemary."
He held her by the hand and Rosemary was dragged off the chair and off she went out of the building.
"Now, come along."
He came to a pause when he saw Petunia standing in front of him.
"Petunia."
"Unnormal," she said.
"Why are you here Petunia?"
"We've got awful news." she squeal.
"How so?"
"Mummy and daddy will be ever so upset at the thought," she passed him a letter.
Dear Dudley Dursley you are here by invited to Hogwarts school of wizards and witchcraft.
"Hi Rosemary," said Dudley.
"Dudley."
"Petunia do stop your crying. Beside how did you even get in here?" asked Percival.
