In the office of Fresh Tv...

"So!" Executive Producer Guy, said to his script writer guy, "You have a second animated season of Total Drama for me?"

"Yes sir, I do!" Screen Writer Guy said excitedly. "It's called Total Drama Action!"

"Sounds exciting, what happens? Do one of the contestants find like an alien wristwatch or something?"

Screen Writer Guy looked confusedly at his boss. "What? No."

"Oh, I get it. So instead, 5 of them join forces to fight crime as a teenage group?"

"Oh, please stop trying to guess, sir."

"Oh, okay let me just stop then."

"Thanks, all your guesses were far, far off the mark. This season is called Total Drama Action, because it takes place on abandoned film lot and theme is movie genres."

"Very cool." Producer Guy said. "So, tell me who's competing this season?"

"Well as you know, 14 contestants tied getting the briefcase full of money, last season."

"Right, right." Producer Guy said nodding. "I'm still bitter about that you know."

"Aw..." Screen Writer guy said. "...well, suck it up, you big baby!"

"Well, ouch!"

"Anyway like I was saying, the 14 picked for this season are Heather, Owen, Duncan, Gwen, Leshawna, Harold, Geoff, Justin, Beth, Lindsay, DJ, Izzy, Trent, Bridgette, and Courtney. And then they'll have to compete in movie theme challenges all season."

"How's that gonna work?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I imagine it's gonna be a pretty short season if only fourteen are competing."

"Oh, right that. Yeah, no this is a full length season."

"...what?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Screen Writer Guy said happily.

"Also you said there was fourteen players but you said 15 names."

"Oh, yeah I did..." Screen Writer Guy realized. "So Courtney kinda comes back since last season she was cheated out of the million dollars."

"Makes sense. So she joins early on in the season?"

"Nope! I instead have her join midway through the season to help pad out the season!"

"Oh, really?" Producer Guy asked.

"Yeah, to help time fill up more, every other episode is a reward challenge, every sixth episode is a special aftermath episode showing eliminated contestants, and some characters get to come back for no reason!"

"Wouldn't it be easier to just...you know...make half a season?"

"Well, I thought about that but then I got hungry for a burger and forgot until I finished writing the entire season."

"Oh, whoops!"

"Whoopsie!"

"So tell me about some of the plotlines for the cast."

"Well, you know how Gwen and Trent finally got together last season?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fans were excited to see what comes next." Producer Guy said.

"Well, right after the first episode they're gonna have relationship problems!"

"Didn't they just get together though?"

"Well, yeah..." Screen Writer Guy admitted. "But I really want to show kids that couples don't last, teach them a valuable lesson, you know?"

"Oh, that's nice!" Producer Guy said. "So how do they break up?"

"Well, Trent thinks he has to cheat-"

"Oh!"

"Not like that. In the competition." Screen Writer Guy explained.

"Oh."

"As I was saying, Trent thinks he has to let Gwen win to make her happy, while Gwen's close friendship with Duncan starts to make Trent insecure!"

"Where'd he get that idea?"

"Owen!"

"And he believed him?"

"Well, yeah. Trent this season kinda got the short straw. I didn't have too much a plot for him aside from the break up. Well, there was one more thing for him."

"What's that?" Producer Guy asked.

"He suddenly does everything nine times. He has nine pieces of egg on his plate, he taps his head nine times, and it even ends up costing his team a challenge win."

"Wow, wow, wow!"

"And then after that, Gwen dumps him after learning what happens and afterword, Trent's team blackmails her to help them because of it."

"Sounds interesting!"

"Yeah, so she's naturally the next to go!"

"Oh! Thought that'd be a good plotline to keep around."

"Well it's not!" Screen Writer Guy said.

"Well, okay then!"

"As for the others, we really wanted to rush to the second half of the season, so the rest of the eliminations...aren't the best?"

"How so?"

"For example, for the first elimination Geoff and Bridgette for making out too much, DJ had a plot with Chef, but he ends up quitting, we straight up boot Izzy in episode 3 just to bring her back four episodes later only to boot her AGAIN by episode 11, even Owen costs his team a challenge just because he was hallucinating his team as food!"

"Wow, really stretching these episodes out huh?"

"Oh, yeah. This first half is honestly kinda boring. But the second half is much better!"

"What happens in the second half?" Producer Guy asked.

"Well, Courtney comes back to compete this season after Harold got her eliminated last season and becomes the new big bad."

"Wait, who was the previous big bad?"

"Well, Justin was the big bad, but I realized as I'm in the middle of writing season 3, I use the exact same kind of villain."

"Why not just rewrite your season 3 villain?"

"Cause he's ten times better written."

"Fair enough! So back to what you were saying with the second half?"

"Right, so Courtney comes back as the new villain, she gets full advantages over the others, and she gets Leshawna and Justin eliminated."

"Not Heather?" Producer Guy asked.

"No, Heather spends the season trying to find a wig after getting her hair shaved last season. That's...that's really it. Aside from a brief friendship with Leshawna. Sorry if that seemed last minute, but you know, so was the plotline."

"So Courtney eliminates a couple people, has an edge in the game, and that's really it?"

Screen Writer Guy pulled out his notes. "No, hang on let me see here...ah! She also whines a lot. Like a lot."

"Does anyone have interesting plotlines?"

"Well, out of the remaining contestants, there's the tension between her and Duncan, Lindsay starts to use her brain more, and Harold steps up to Duncan and actually starts to team up with him."

"...this actually sounds interesting! Now we're getting somewhere! What happened with those plots?"

"...well, I was thinking we could have Lindsay and Harold be the final-"

Screen Writer's phone rang. "Hold that thought. Hello? Really, now? I see...well, thanks for letting me know. Take care!"

"What was that about?" Producer Guy asked.

"Lindsay's voice actor called. She's busy with another show and said she couldn't work for too much longer. What were you saying for her character though?"

"Oh, I was just saying Lindsay ends up accidentally voting herself off."

"Really? Seems like an odd writing choice for her character."

"Well, my hands are tied sir. But on the plus side this pushes Beth's development."

"Oh, what's her story like this season?"

"Well she gets a boyfriend in between seasons named Brady, continues to ogle Justin like Eye Candy, is mean in some episodes to Lindsay, and ends up just kissing Harold covered in her own vomit."

"What?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah! She really develops as a character this season!"

"As a cheater and a horrible girlfriend."

"Well..."

"Look as long as she doesn't become a finalist it should be fine..."

"..."

"...You made her into a finalist, didn't you?" Producer Guy asked.

"I have no choice sir, it's either her or Courtney."

"Beth it is."

"Great thanks!"

"What about Harold? You mentioned him being in the finale?"

"Oh, right that...so to be completely honest, he works best in a finale with Lindsay, both being underdogs and whatnot, so he had to go."

"Wait, so what happens to Harold?"

"Harold gets blindsided 3-2, by Courtney, Duncan, and Owen!"

"You brought back Owen? Why?"

"Well, because he's such a fan favorite we'd figured we'd bring him back to progress the plot, I mean for his fanbase?"

"Well, that works for me!" Producer Guy said.

"Oh, thank goodness." Screen Writer Guy quickly said. "So Duncan and Owen make the finale four again with Courtney and Beth."

"Don't you think we should go back and consider having a different finale 4?"

"Well, sir, you see animation takes a long time to work on and I've already written the script, so I'm gonna need you to get aaaallllll the way off my back about this season!"

"Oh,okay! Let me get off of that thing!"

"Great thanks!"

"So what happens in the last few episodes?"

"There ends up being an animal buddy episode and Owen and Courtney both struggle the entire time in the challenge getting humiliated."

"Oh, boy. Can't wait to see what karma hits Courtney!"

"That's it really." Screen writer guy admitted. "A shark gives her a hard time, and everyone votes her off-including her boyfriend-for her bossy nature."

"Oh, very anticlimactic!"

"It sure was!"

"So what happens with Owen?"

"Courtney and Beth find out Owen was the mole, and then Chris kicks him off the show."

"Also very anticlimactic!"

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!"

"So what happens in the finale?"

"Well, Beth and Duncan have to answer questions or redo the previous challenges of the season."

"Oh, sounds interesting!"

'"Uh-huh! And since Beth is more social than Duncan she just starts skipping all the challenges."

"Duncan must be pretty screwed I'm guessing." Producer Guy said.

"Oh no, super easy," Screen Writer Guy said. "Barely an inconvenience."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, we're gonna have Duncan just breeze through the challenges extremely fast and catch up to Beth for the final stretch of the challenge!"

"Oh, wow! They're neck and neck?" Producer guy asked. "This is exciting, so who wins?"

"It's a tie!" Screen Writer guy happily said to the displeasure of Producer Guy who frowned. "...what?"

"Yeah, they both cross the finish line at the same time, and the others are like, 'Well, what do we do now?' and so for the last episode of the season everyone just kinda...asks questions and voted on the winner."

"Oh, like that one show!" Producer Guy said.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" Screen Writer guy happily said. "So in my personal ending I think is canon, Beth loses while Duncan gets the money and gets back with Courtney! And get this! It turns out, Beth's boyfriend was real this whole time!"

"Wait, the guy Beth wasn't faithful to at all and broke up with, shows up out of the blue like nothing happened?" Producer Guy asked.

"Yeah, it's romantic and sweet!"

"But Beth cheated on him."

"Well, I hope everyone just forgets that plotline!"

"Fair enough!" Producer Guy said. "While this season didn't do great on its couples, I have to admit Duncan and Courtney were really entertaining together."

Screen Writer guy laughed. "Yeah, can you imagine if we broke them up for a love triangle?"

"Yeah, that would be terrible!" Producer Guy said.

Both men laughed and sighed before standing in silence for a brief moment. "Unless...?" Screen Writer Guy started to say.
