After that massive attack on them right when they were relaxing on the beach, our group had all been defeated, well, all except for…
"Aaa! That was close!" Finn yelled while he got out from under a table
Back when the lights went out Finn acted quickly and hid under a table, he then heard something cutting down everything that was around. Finn managed to save himself thanks to his quick reactions thanks to his coward instincts telling him that when the lights go out something bad always happens
"Now, what caused all of this?" Finn said while looking at the destroyed casino
But he couldn't think much about this because he began to hear various pained noises from nearby, making him go there to check what was happening, only to see both Cana and Lucy tied up while the blonde yelled at a card on the ground
"Erotic… And weird… What the hell happened?" Finn thought confused about what was happening
"Cut faster!" Lucy yelled
"Finn! Quit watching and help!" Cana screamed making Finn flinch
"Okay!"
Finn ran up to Cana and began to try and untie her only for her to stare at him with a deadpan look before sighing
"Use your magic." Cana said making Finn blink
"Oh… Yeah! Changeas!" Finn pulled out his wand and changed Cana with a piece of wood, making the ropes tie up around said wood
"And you're supposed to be the smart one of your group…" Cana said while getting up making Finn look away in shame
"It's severed!" the card screams making Finn jump away in fear
"Thank you for helping me!" Lucy picks the card up and thanks it
"No problem, now can you let me out…?" the card asks and then is kissed by Lucy as a thank you
"Sorry! I'll find a way to let you guys out later!" Lucy said and threw the card away
The blonde then began to run through the casino to try to find her friends, Cana and Finn followed right behind
"I still don't know what the hell is going on!" Finn yelled in his own mind
"Natsu! Gray! Levy!" Lucy called out for her friends until she found the dead body of Gray, him being stabbed in the cheat by a pipe
"HE'S DEAD!" Finn yelled in a panic
Both he and Lucy grabbed Gray trying to check for a pulse and feeling how cold his body was
"How could they… This can't be happening! Gray, wake up!" Lucy said while trying to help Gray
Only for his body to begin cracking causing both Lucy and Finn to stare at him with wide eyes before the body completely crumbled in front of them
"E-EEEEEEEEEH!?" They both yelled confused
"Did you guys not notice that it was an ice clone?" Cana asked making the two look at her confused
"HOW DID YOU KNOW!?" Finn and Lucy screamed
"Because it still had its clothes on." Cana explained making Lucy and Finn look at each other
"Yeah, that makes sense."
"We should have figured it out."
"But where is Gray?"
"Please, don't worry." Juvia's voice was heard while her body rose up from a puddle of water near them
"Eeeep!" the two yelped after seeing Juvia appearing out of nowhere
"Gray-sama is hidden in Juvia's body." Juvia said while Gray fell off her body while gasping for air
"I-inside your body?" Lucy asked confused
"Inside me, not you." Juvia said smugly while getting very close to Lucy's face
"Uh… good for you?" Lucy said confused
"I remember, you made a double of me when the lights went out." Gray said while getting up and taking his shirt off
"To avoid being caught Juvia protected Gray-sama with water!" Juvia said with a big smile
"That wasn't necessary, you let them get away!" Gray said making Juvia grunt in pain while looking away
"Oi! Don't be such a prick!" Dot yelled while crawling up to the table of the bar, with Love doing the same right beside him
"YOU COULD'VE ALSO SAVED US!" Love yelled in complete anger
"At least you two are okay too…" Finn sighed at his friends being good… well, at least enough to be angry
"Speaking of, where are the others?" Gray asked
"We haven't found the others yet but Erza…" Cana began but was interrupted by a massive torrent of flames shooting up
The group looked at the flames with wide eyes and saw Natsu jumping up while Levy and Lance flew near them after such an explosion
"IT HURTS!" Natsu yelled while holding his mouth
"Natsu!" Lucy yelled
In the other areas of the Casino, the others also began to get up. Mash and Lemon got out of a cocoon of silk that Puffy created at the last second to protect them and looked at the screaming Natsu. Abel, Abyss, and Milo get up from the ground while looking around confused, for some reason, they felt younger for a few moments before. Rayne and Frost were being helped up by Cyclone and Tagi while looking up at Natsu. The dragon slayer was so loud that the entire casino could hear him.
"What kind of person would shoot someone in the mouth!? Man, that could've done some real damage!" Natsu screamed while checking his mouth
"You're not so normal yourself for surviving being shot in the mouth." Lance said while getting up, with Levy doing the same right after
"That blocky bastard…!" Natsu growled before jumping down and running out of the casino "Don't go thinking you can get away!"
"Follow him!" Gray yelled
"But even if we do, how do we know he knows where he's going!?" Finn yelled
"Natsu has a better nose than most animals, there isn't someone he can't find by smell!" Gray screamed and ran after him, being followed by the rest of the group

At some unknown place, Innocent Zero was having a meeting with his sons, the five of them sitting down around a round table with Innocent also taking a seat after the five noticed his presence there
"I'm glad you five could take part in this." Innocent began while looking at his children
"No worries, we had to finish our tasks a little earlier to meet the deadline but no worries." Delisaster said while drinking a red beverage from a chalice
"You've finished the recruitment of the elves already?" Innocent asked slightly curious
"Yeah, it was a riot! Although none of the elf warriors were that strong, at least some of them managed to survive a hit, pretty sure that with some training they can work as foot soldiers." Delisaster said without much care, taking another sip of his drink "But their blood sure is tasty!"
"Good to hear that. What about you, Epidem?" Innocent asked
Epidem however was too focused on his pudding, taking a spoonful of it and eating it in complete bliss
"Splendid! This new recipe is just divine!" Epidem said with a very big smile
Innocent just stared at him for a few moments before sighing
"How was your mission on the recruitment of the giants?"
"It went well, father. The Giants are now completely subjugated and will follow any command we give them, however, I still have to locate the giants from this world." Epidem explained and took another bite of his pudding
"That is good enough for the short time you had. Famin?" Innocent looked at his second-oldest son who was shuffling a deck of cards
"The dragons have been successfully tamed. Although having them learn Dragon Slayer magic has been quite the challenge, they seem to develop consciousness and more human capabilities by learning such a thing, but I've managed to accomplish it. Some of them already managed to take a human appearance using transformation magic." Famin explained
"So my theory was right, the physiology of the dragons from both of our worlds seems to be similar enough that ours are capable of using dragon slayer magic without the need of a Lacrima. Quite the discovery." Innocent smiled "How exactly did you manage to have them gain such magic?"
"I had to get Epidem to help out, he managed to get some dragon remains while exploring this world, and with the slight residues of mana in the bones he created a serum that injected our dragons with the capabilities of using said magic, with minimal side effects." Famin explained while clapping his hands and making the cards disappear
"I see. Those are some good news. And how has your training been going, Domina?" Innocent asked his youngest, well, his youngest in the room right now
"It's been going great, I've managed to master my Water Dragon Slayer magic enough to fuse it with my personal magic without issues." Domina said with a nod
"It seems that getting that Lacrima was quite the good decision indeed." Innocent smiled
Everything seemed to be going well for him, the preparations were going great, and maybe this time everything was going to work. Suddenly a small blonde girl opened the door to the meeting room, making the six there look at her
"Master, there seems to be a problem." the girl said
"And what would it be?" Innocent floated out of his seat and landed in front of her
"It seems one of the wizard saints, the blonde from where you're from, is going to the Tower of Heaven after receiving news about it from the magic council." the girl explained making Innocent widen his eyes slightly in surprise
"Interesting… Well, that's convenient enough for my plans." Innocent smirked. It seems he wouldn't need to intervene this time

In the middle of the ocean, the entire team had managed to fit on a boat and were now traveling through the seas, with Natsu laying down immobilized thanks to motion sickness
"Where the hell are we!?" Gray yelled
"It seems we have been drifting through the ocean for quite some time." Abel said while looking around
"Are you sure this is the right way, Natsu?" Lucy asked the barely conscious dragon slayer
"Y-yeah…"
"We are relying on that nose of yours so you better get a grip!" Gray yelled
"I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be giving us wrong information when the situation is this drastic." Abyss said with his arms crossed
"Dammit! I can't believe they took Erza and Happy while we were unconscious! How depressing is that…" Gray screamed at the heavens, mad at himself for letting that happen
"Yeah, that's crazy." Love said while she was playing cards with Milo "To think they even managed to beat Erza of all people."
"Ain't no way Erza was beaten." Gray said while glaring at Love "You don't know the first thing about her!"
"SOWWY!" Love screamed while crying, trying to protect her face from the beast that was Gray
"Gray-sama! Please calm down!" Juvia said while pulling Gray away making him huff
"Erza mentioned something about those guys being her old friends…" Lucy said to herself
"No one here knows much about Erza so we don't have a clue what this entire situation is to her…" Cana said making everyone there get thoughtful
The trip got really quiet after that, this entire situation was very confusing for them since they didn't know anything about Erza's past, and they were thinking about why she wouldn't tell any of them about this… What could she have in her past that made her not want to share it with any of her friends
"Huh?" Mash said while looking forward "Oh look, a tower."
They all looked forward and saw the massive tower on a small island in the middle of the ocean, all of them preparing themselves to rescue Erza
"That must be Tower of Heaven." Lucy gulped seeing that massive tower in the distance

Inside the tower at the dungeon, Kagura was standing near the cell where Erza was located, she heard Sho talking with the newly imprisoned Erza
"The ceremony will happen tomorrow at midday. Until then you will be living here." Sho said while pointing at the stone interior of the cell
"The ceremony!? Does that mean they are planning on using the R-system!?" Erza thought in shock
"No hard feelings, yeah? I mean, you're the traitor so you dug your own grave, nee-san." Sho said while Simon left the cell "Jellal is pretty angry at you. So much so that he decided to make you the sacrifice for the ceremony."
Erza stayed quiet while Kagura gripped her sword harder, Simon saw her sister being bothered by the conversation and put a hand on her shoulder making her look up at him and give him a small thankful smile before he left to do more business at the tower
"We won't be able to see Nee-san again, which is very sad, but it's for the sake of paradise." Sho said and saw Erza's hands shaking a little "Are you trembling? Does the idea of being a sacrificial lamb frighten you? Or is this place bringing back memories?"

The sound of a whip cracking was heard and along with a pained yelp, a tall and fat man wearing cultist garbs while looking down in complete disgust
"Did you think you could escape that easily? You lousy brats?"
A small group of children were on the ground in front of the cultist, who had various guards along with him, with them being near a tunnel dug into the rock walls.
Sho was a small boy on his knees on the verge of tears, Wally having a bigger chin than the other kids and looking down while gritting his teeth, Milliana was the youngest between them and was holding onto Wally for safety, Simon was a larger boy than the rest and staying protectively in front of his sister while still being on his knees, Kagura was right behind Simon while holding back tears and trembling in fear, there was also a small boy with blue hair and a red tattoo on his face that was glaring at the guards, and right beside him was Erza holding her ears and looking down in fear
"We are on a strict deadline with the R-system. We'd be in quite the trouble if we were to have any kind of setback. On principle alone, I should throw all of you brats into the disciplinary chambers." a taller and thinner cultist said while looking at the kids "But just for today, I'll settle for one of you. Who was the mastermind behind this botched escape? Only they will be punished, the rest of you will only receive a slap on the wrist. Aren't I nice?"
Sho began to cry while the others trembled in fear at the man, Erza looked at Sho and then back down, as she tried to say something the blue-haired boy got up and yelled
"It was me! I planned it all and told them what to do."
"J-Jellal…?" Sho said surprised
"Is that so?" the cultist said while looking at Jellal, but then changed his focus to Erza who was looking at Jellal while trembling before getting right up to her face "It was this girl, wasn't it?"
Erza widened her eyes in shock while the others looked at her surprised
"What!?" Jellal yelled
"Take her." The cultist said while one of the guards grabbed and pulled Erza by the back of her shirt
"Wait! It was me! I planned it all, not Erza!" Jellal screamed trying to save his friend
"D-don't worry about me… I'll be fine…" Erza said while sweating and looking down in fear
"ERZA!"
"It's just like you said, Jellal. It's not scary at all." Erza said while smiling at her friends, her entire body shaking in fear
"ERZA!" Jellal tried to run towards her but was held by the guards
"Pipe down!"
"S-save her, Jellal… Please save Er-chan…" Milliana pleaded while crying
Kagura gritted her teeth and hid herself in her brother's arms, Jellal was trying the best he could to get out of the guard's arms while the cultist who accused Erza looked at them
"None of you will be eating for the next three days. Well, it's a lot better than spending time in the disciplinary chamber, hahahaha!" the cultist said while Erza cried and was taken away from her friends

"I apologize for putting you through that Nee-san, I was the one who planned the entire thing." Sho said while sighing "But I was too much of a coward to speak up. I just thought about my own safety…"
"I don't care about that. More importantly, do you guys actually understand the risks of using the R-system to resurrect people?" Erza asked while giving Sho a small glare
"Wow, I'm actually surprised you know what the R-system is used for." Sho said with a smirk
"'Revive System'. In exchange for a living sacrifice, you can bring one person back to life." Erza explained with an angry expression "Forbidden magic completely devoid of humanity."
"From the moment of its inception, magic had nothing to do with humanity. All magic wears away any humanity." Sho said while moving his finger in a circle
"You've spoken just like a member of the cult of Zeref. You're exactly like those guys." Erza said glaring even more at him
"Those guys could only recognize the R-system as a basic anti-soul 'restoration' magic device. They lack the foresight Jellal has." Sho said with a grin "He will guide us to paradise!"
"Paradise?"
"When Jellal revives that person the world will be reborn." Sho said while getting right up to Erza's face "And we shall become its rulers! The remnants of those who stole our freedom, the friends of Nee-san who betrayed us, the ignorant people living without fear, the morons of the council, we'll inflict fear and sadness into all of them! And then we will rob them all of their freedom! We'll be the rulers of the world!"
Kagura heard all of that and held her sword even harder, gritting her teeth at what Sho was saying, she couldn't believe this was really Sho… What was going on here!?
Erza was sharing a similar feeling and kicked Sho up in his head, knocking him out easily, Kagura heard that and nodded, walking away and leaving the dungeon quickly while Erza set herself free and used her Re-equip to put her armor back on
"What have you done to make these people change so much? I'll never forgive you Jellal!" Erza said angrily while breaking the door of her cell with a kick "I'll put an end to this!"

The group had managed to get to the island, being hidden behind various rocks and seeing the vast amount of guards in the entrance of the tower
"That's a lot of guards." Gray said
"Who cares! Let's just charge through!" Natsu yelled but was held back by Lucy
"No way! They got Erza and Happy, if we do anything stupid we might put them in danger." Lucy said while pulling Natsu away
"Did you guys actually think it would be so easy that we could enter through the front door?" Lance asked
Right behind them Juvia emerged from the water, her body being fused with the ocean
"Juvia has found a way into the basement through the water."
"Seriously? Great job!" Gray said with a smile
"Juvia was the one praised, not you!" Juvia said getting up to Lucy's face with a smug look
"Uh-huh." Lucy just accepted it
"Wow, that girl is so jealous. She needs to chill out." Lemon said, making Finn look at her with a deadpan look "...What?"
"It's a ten-minute journey underwater, but holding your breath for that long won't be a problem, right?" Juvia explained to them
"10 minutes is nothing!" Natsu said
"Yeah, no problem." Gray said
"Sounds easy." Mash said
"OF COURSE IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" Finn and Lucy screamed
"Then please wear this." Juvia said creating various water bubbles on her hands "It uses water to enclose your head with oxygen, allowing you to breathe underwater."
"Awesome!" Dot said while putting the bubble on his head

After the ten-minute swim, the first ones to get to the basement of the tower were Rayne and Frost
"Looks like our investigation was truly needed." Frost said while taking her bubble off
"You just managed it through luck." Rayne told her while removing his bubble
"Shut up." Frost said to Rayne making him stare at her with a deadpan look
Cyclone, Tagi, Mash, and Finn are the ones that managed to get there now, getting out of the water and removing their bubbles
"Alright, time to beat up some criminals!" Cyclone said with a green aura around her
"You seem too excited for that…" Tagi said with a worried smile
"Hmm, it wasn't that bad of a swim." Mash said moving his arms in circles a little
"Thanks for coming back for me, I'm not a good swimmer." Finn said with a smile while sitting down on the border of the water entrance, thanking his friend for letting him grab onto him during the swimming
"No problem." Mash gave him a thumbs-up
Finn smiles at his friend before two very big and soft things hit him in the face from below and send him flying away, making him roll on the ground while covering his face with wide eyes
"This thing sure is handy, even though it looks a little silly." Lucy said now in a bikini, being the one who hit Finn in the face
Her and the rest of the group had gotten there and removed their bubbles, Dot glaring daggers at Finn while he got back up
"I didn't expect this kind of betrayal from you, Finn…" Dot said with disgust
"WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE I JOINED THE ENEMY!?"
"Lucy really did well making her breath last since I made hers smaller than the others." Juvia said making Lucy stare at her in disbelief
"Don't try to kill us out of jealousy!" Levy yelled
"So this is the basement of the tower." Lance said while looking around since Dot was too busy ogling Lucy in a bikini to do anything
"This is where they are keeping Erza and Happy." Cana said while crossing her arms and looking around
"Who the hell are you guys!?" some guards yelled after finding them there
"Oh crap!" Lucy yelled snapping Dot out of his appreciation of the female figure
"We've got this far… We'll just have to fight through them!" Gray told them
"Right." Juvia nodded while glaring at the guards
"Who the hell are we!?" Natsu screamed while running up to the guards "Don't you know good fighters when you see them!"
Natsu hit the platform the guards were standing with a flaming punch, sending them plummeting down to the ground
"We're from Fairy Tail, you morons!" Natsu screamed
One of the guards jumped towards Lucy and tried to slash her with a sword, making her dodge by rolling back while she pulled out one of her keys
"Open the gate of the giant crab! Cancer!" Lucy yelled and summoned back the celestial spirit with the scissors
"Long time no see, baby!" Cancer said while tackling the guard and cutting his head to turn him bald
A few guards try to attack Abel only for Abyss to put himself in front of him and cuts them all down using his Acceleraise, Abel lifts up his wand and uses his Marioness to control the downed guards to attack the other guards approaching. Milo used his Stonehenge to imprison various guards to the walls using stone hands while Love used her Tornegus to blow some of the guards away. Juvia is attacked by two guards who slash her, only to pass through her thanks to her body being made out of water
"What the!?"
Juvia spun around and used her Water Slicer to knock the guards down. Rayne knocks down more guards using his Partisan by blasting them with swords, while Frost grabs one of the swords he created to slash down various of the guards around her. Cyclone crosses her arms and makes the guards levitate and blasts them against the walls while Tagi jumps off them and pulls out a very long sword out of its sheath and sends a massive air slash down, causing an explosion on the ground that blasts various guards away
Gray jumps and kicks three guards away, spinning in the air and putting his hands together and creating a massive ice hammer and crushing the guards with it. Lance moves his wand up and creates various gravity beams up using his Graviole, sending the guards flying towards the roof of the basement.
Cana dodged various strikes from the guards and blasted them with various cards that electrocuted them, blasting them away before Dot sent various fireballs using his Explomb and exploded them away, knocking them down. Levy used her solid script magic to blast the guards trying to hit her with fire, burning them up before using ice to freeze them right after, with Finn throwing rocks at the entrance they used and using his Changeas to change the guards with place with the rocks to make them into the water while the ice melted, making them have a massive cold wave and jump away, making them get knocked out thanks to the low temperature
Lemon dodged all of the guards without having much of an opening to attack, only for Mash to stomp on the ground and causing a small earthquake making all of the guards trip and hit their heads on the ground. Lucy saw that and frowned slightly, Lemon was really having some trouble there…
After beating up all of the guards a door opens near the ceiling, making the group look up at it
"It opened up." Natsu said
"It's kinda like a game…" Finn said
"They are telling us to go up." Gray frowned
"Then let's go!" Natsu yelled and began to go up the stairs

At a dining room the group was ready for another fight, but the room was completely empty
"Square up ya bastards! Where are you!" Natsu screamed before Lucy covered his mouth
"Stop yelling! We're in enemy territory!"
"We could only go crazy down there because we were underground, now we will have to be more sneaky about it." Gray said
"What's worse is that this door wasn't opened by anyone on this side, it's controlled remotely by magic." Juvia explained
"So that means they are completely aware of what we're doing." Levy said while thinking of what they could do about this
"If that's true then why are they letting us go through?" Lucy asked
"Maybe they are provoking us to make us go into a trap?" Finn suggested before noticing something "Where did you get those clothes?"
"Oh! These are from the spirit world!" Lucy said while doing a little twirl to show them off, she was wearing a green headband, a green dress with light blue tips and a purple DNA pattern on the middle, the dress not covering some of the upper part of her chest and the area up to her elbows "I don't like wearing wet clothes so I asked Cancer to get me this. I know, I know, they look amazing."
"Don't push it." Finn deadpanned, he did think she looked good in that dress but she didn't need to be annoying about it
"Oh my god! That dress is so pretty!" Love said while approaching the blonde and looking at her dress with hearts in her eyes
"Thank you! Aside from Juvia, who can turn her body into water, you guys are dealing with wearing wet clothes very well." Lucy said with a smug look
"They dried up really quick thanks to this." Mash said pointing at Natsu who ignited his entire body
"We had a drier right here!?" Lucy yelled
"There! They are right there!" more guards were heard charging through the corridors
"More guards." Abel said while Abyss prepared to fight
But before they managed to get into the fight, all of the guards were knocked down at amazing speeds, and the one responsible for it was Erza who had two swords in her hands
"Erza!" Gray yelled
"Having fun without us, huh?" Cana said with a smirk
"Thank goodness you're okay!" Lucy yelled with glee
Erza meanwhile didn't look quite pleased to see them, actually looking shocked
"W-what are you doing here!?"
"What do you mean by that!? We'd be disgracing Fairy Tail if we just let them walk away after the stunt they pulled! And there's no way I'm letting that square bastard off so easily!" Natsu yelled while walking up to Erza
"Yeah, there's no way we would let you-" Lucy began but
"Go back." Erza interrupted, shocking everyone there "You guys shouldn't be here."
The entire group stared at Erza in complete shock, they couldn't believe what they just heard Erza saying
"What?" Mash said bluntly

once again, thank you so much for supporting this little fun project of mine, I love it so much how you all are actually enjoying this story since I put a lot of work into it, I know this story has its faults and I mostly can't manage to get the comedy right like Mashle does but I still have a lot of fun mixing two of my favorite series together! Maybe I'll even do Dragon Cry and Phoenix Priestess as a small bonus one day, but thats just a maybe

Now a review of the first episode of season 2 of Mashle, starting off, the opening, THAT SHIT SLAPS SO HARD! They did not need to go that hard on it but I'm glad it did! The opening is so good its atracting new people to watch the series! That shit is like a top tier openin, same tier as Ao No Sumika and Specialz from JJK, Alones and the op13 from Bleach, Snow Fairy and Masayume Chasing from Fairy Tail, and HERO from One Punch Man! (Basically the ops I love asf tier). Now for the episode itself, it adapted the chapters from the manga very well, the humor was top tier and even more with Finn just staring at his friends and having that look of "why am I friends with these insane lunatics?", Mash wass judged for not having magic and showed them whos boss by creating a fire tornado, the introduction of the divine visionaries and the voice actors killed it, Ryod and Orter sound amazing and they did the tone of Orter trying to litelly murder Mash very good, and cit contrasted very well with Mash just being Mash and burrying his feet in the concret so he couldn't be taken away, really hoping they give us more information on them in the manga since Tsuhara is stated in the fanbook to have some kind of special eye like Abyss does, little sus right there. Next episode it seems like it will be time for Margaret to show up and fight Rayne, I think, and boy, anime onlys get your keisters ready for this character, they are a doozy! I really like that the anime is expanding on the stuff shown. And now a little tangent but I love how in Mashle almost all of the characters are memorable, like, I don't there is a single boring side character there, they are all entertaining and funny as hell, and some of them even have some good ass writing like Dot, Abel, Abyss, Lance, and even Finn, they even managed to give Lemon, the character that was basically an afterthought, had time to shine, although I did want to see more of her backstory and why she always thinks she is a burden to people but eh, maybe they'll add that in the anime when we get to her fight against Cerberus and that one prisioner.
