Bold means author's note. Can you guys comment if a week is too much waiting time? This is my first fanfic and I'm still getting adjusted, per se, and I want to make sure I'm not killing you guys with curiosity.

By the way, I wrote a one-shot with Jay dying on Misfortune's Keep– and, I gotta say, it's a little cheesy. If you want to read it, I'll inform you in this fanfic when I rewrite it. You're still welcome to read it, though!

Chapter 12: WHAT!

POV: Agent Walker

The day had come.

Everyone was swiftly getting in the various mini-trucks designed to hold twelve people while I watched the ongoing preparations. Everyone was moving in sync, like the way bees work harmoniously with each other, no one talking unless necessary, quickly walking without a doubt like the trained agents they were.

And I couldn't feel more proud knowing I achieved that.

Perfect harmony.

Order.

They may have seemed to be emotionless on the outside, but they weren't as good at hiding their emotions as me.

Heh. I wouldn't allow that.

Some were scared, and nervous, while some were eager and excited, like they should be.

I would have said it was going to be a 'day to be written in history', but, seriously– the day you see me overconfident is the day you see flying pigs.

POV: Wyldfyre

AAAAAAAAAAGH.

This was all just so booooooriiiiiiiiinng.

Bored?

'Train,' they said.

Enough training?

'Feed the dragons,' they said.

After that?

'Go improve your powers,' they said.

And after that?

'Find something to do!" They said.

But what?

There was nothing to do!

No baddies to fight, no news, no nothing!

I wish something would happen!

Why, your wish is yours to keep! (;

POV: Lloyd

Okay, this is getting ridiculous.

We've been sitting in the waiting room for an hour now and even the entertainment of Kai's occasional twitch to get up and do something was wearing thin.

And let me tell you, leaving Nya alone to her thoughts in this situation was not a good idea. Mostly for her victims' sake.

She's got that 'thinking face' on.

Seriously, when are we getting out of here?

POV: Agent Walker

I was already boiling with anticipation as we neared the ninjas' monastery. Finally, after years of training and fighting low-life crooks (for most of the time, anyway), I finally get a chance to fight an actually skilled opponent.

I would be lying if I said that I didn't respect the ninjas for their skill and have been itching to find a reason to get a chance to fight them. It was rather odd how we fought and reprimanded many crooks but never got a reason to fight The Protectors of Ninjago, an entire realm, mind you, all with elemental powers that could possibly fuel our power?!

It was odd, indeed, but I supposed if the elemental powers could work, we would have fought them already.

My thoughts screeched to a halt as did our vehicles.

It's time.

POV: Arin

Knock, knock, knock.

I twisted my head to the monastery's doors so hard that it audibly cracked.

Ow.

I winced and turned to see Sora with an expression mixed with disgust, sympathy, and a grimace.

That all quickly vanished as I remembered that someone had knocked. I was lit up with excitement about the routine change which quickly turned to disappointment as I realized the ninjas were back.

I hadn't had a chance to do anything impressive at all!

And now my chance was ruined.

I slowly walked to the door and opened it only to see…

Agents?

I shook my head to see if my bored-out-life mind was playing a dull trick on me but…

It wasn't!

Agents?! That's so cool! Look at their suits and combed hair and sunglasses! Wow, there are a lot of them–

Oh.

OH.

They looked just like The Administration's agents…

The Administration that we infiltrated and stole from…

The disappointment that turned into excitement was very suddenly replaced by dread.

And nervousness.

I quickly got into a fighting position followed by Sora and Wyldyre copying my reaction. The agents moved aside to let through who I assumed to be the lead agent. As soon as I saw his face though…

…wha?

…huh?

WHAT!
