Scene: Marinette's room

Marinette was sleeping in her bedroom when she was suddenly awoken by her cell phone ringing. She then immediately shot right up, remembering what day it was, sending Tikki, who was sleeping on her stomach, across the room.

"Happy birthday—ow!" she yelled as she jumped down the stairs and collided with her chaise. "Happy birthday!" She spun around, sat on her chair and turned on her computer, revealing her desktop background to be a collage of Adrien Agreste's pictures. "Ah! Happy birthday, Adrien."

Scene: Adrien's bathroom.

Adrien was already awake and was now brushing his teeth.

"Happy birthday, Adrien!" said Plagg flying over to him and handing him his birthday present, which was a piece of Camembert cheese wrapped with a red bow.

"Ugh, Plagg! Get that filthy piece of Camembert out of my face!" said Adrian looking disgusted as he plugged his nose.

Plagg did so by eating the cheese.

Marinette was making her way down the stairs with Adrien's birthday gift in her hands. The moment was currently in the kitchen drinking some tea when she noticed her.

"Marinette, don't forget to clean your room after school today," Sabine reminded her.

"Mum! It's Friday, and I'm already doing something with Alya," Marinette moaned.

"Fine, I'll go ahead and clean it, but don't blame me if I come across any of your private stuff, like your e-mails, your diary—"

Marinette made a nervous face. "Okay! I'll do it, I'll do it." She then rushed over to her mother and kissed her on the cheek before leaving.

"Have a nice day, sweetie!" Sabina called.

"Happy birthday—I mean, have a nice day!" Marinette corrected herself before closing the door.

Sabine blinked, looking rather confused, but she merely shrugged and continued drinking her tea.

Scene: Agreste Mansion.

Adrien was having breakfast alone at a big dining table, looking disappointed that his father hadn't shown up.

Nathalie then entered the dining room and handed him the schedule. "Your schedule, Adrien."

"Thanks, Nathalie," said Adrian taking the tablet and Nathalie and then began to leave. Adrian quickly stopped her with a hopeful look on his face. "Hey, um, my father got back to you about my birthday party?"

"Well, um—He doesn't think it would be a good idea," she said.

Adrien turned away, disappointed. "Course not."

"Happy birthday, Adrien," said Nathalie and left.

Scene: Outside of school.

Adrien just explained the whole birthday party thing to Toby and Nino.

"Damn," said Toby.

"Dude, seriously?" said Nino as he blew some bubbles. "Has your dad always been such a downer? You'd think he'd at least remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little."

"No, I'm pretty sure he was a downer back then, too," said Adrien. "Well, at least I tried."

Nino then wrapped one arm around Adrien, "It's your b-day, dude! Insist!"

"Yeah," Toby agreed, "And if you people could organize a party for us, then I can gladly return the favor."

Not far away were Marinette, Camilla and Alya, hiding behind the stairs, completely out of sight.

"You can do it, you can do it!" said Alya as she tried to encourage Marinette.

"I can do it, I can do it!" Marinette nodded.

"You know what, I'm gonna have a little convo with your pops," said Nino.

"Don't waste your time," said Adrien. "He's not gonna change his mind."

Marinette popped out from behind the stairs and looked at Adrian while he wasn't looking. She then promptly sank back behind the stairs.

"I can't do it, I can't do it!" she cried.

Camilla shook her head, "Oh no no no no no no no no, don't you dare start!"

Alya facepalmed herself. "You've been stalling all morning. Now's the time."

They both pushed her out into the open and over towards Adrian.

Marinette stopped and soon discovered she was right in front of Adrien.

"Um, he- Hey!" she said nervously, quickly hiding her present behind her back.

Adrian looked at Nino and Toby before looking back at Marinette, slightly confused. "Hey."

Chloé and Sabrina were at the top of the stairs and had seen everything.

"Wait! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?" Chloé asked and turned to Sabrina. "Don't tell me it's Adrien's birthday?!"

Sabrina checked her tablet and then followed Chloé's instructions to the letter, only giving her a slight nod and this sheepish smile.

Chloé facepalmed herself. "Ugh, do I have to do everything myself? Seriously, what are you good for?"

She then promptly began making her way down towards Adrian.

At the bottom of the stairs, Marinette had butterflies in her stomach as she tried to give Adrian his birthday present. "I, uh, I wanted to, umm, gift you a make—I mean, gift you a give I made—I mean…"

She was completely unaware that Chloé was now standing behind, yawning as she talked.

"Out of the way," said Chloé shoving her to one side. She then pretended to act all sweet and innocent to Adrian. "Happy birthday, Adrien!"

She then threw herself towards him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah, thanks, Chlo," said Adrian, slightly surprised.

"Dummy," said Marinette herself as she was flat on the ground.

Alya facepalmed herself again, wondering what she was going to do with the girl.

"Did you get the gift I sent you?" Chloé asked.

"Uh, no," said Adrian.

Chloé then started to pretend to be annoyed. "What? Oh, those delivery guys. I bet it was too heavy, so they had to go back and get another guy to help. Those slackers." She then promptly wrapped her arms around his shoulders once again. "I'll make sure they get it to you by tonight."

She gave him another kiss on the cheek before leaving, having a happy tune to herself.

Nino chuckled and playfully punched Adrien's arm.

Marinette was currently hiding behind the stairs while Alya tried to encourage her to get out there.

"Get back there! Don't be a pushover, literally!" Alya hissed.

Marinette just groaned in defeat, much to Alya's frustration.

Chloé was making her way back inside the school, passing Sabrina.

"What did you get him?" Sabrina asked.

"I didn't; you did," she growled as she pointed a finger at her. "And it better be amazing, and it better not be late!"

Sabrina nodded, looking terrified, and Chloé left her and stormed off. Sabrina then followed her while looking for her tablet for an ideal present for Adrian.

"C'mon, you can do it," said Alya encouragingly.

With a determined look, Marinette got to her feet, but before she could even attempt to hand Adrian his gift, his limo arrived.

"You have got to be kidding me," groaned Camilla.

"Gotta go. Photoshoot," said Adrian looking at his friends.

Everyone watched as he entered the limousine, looking very sad.

"Why can't I just mean what I say?" said Marinette herself.

"Uh, say what you mean?" Alya corrected.

"Exactly."

"Looks like we've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man," said Nino as he started walking only to be stopped by Toby who's hand was on his shoulder as he turned him around.

"I'm sorry, we?" said Toby, skeptically.

"Yeah we, We're doing this for our friend, nothing to worry about."

"The only thing I'm worrying about is you," said Toby, "No offense bro, but trust me, people of upper class like Mr. Agreste won't take you seriously."

"And what makes you so special?" said Nino.

"It's not about being special, it's about being presentable and respectful so as to garner respect."

"Uh huh, so we go in, have a nice chat with the big guy and get him to see sense," surmised the DJ.

"Actually, I'll be the one to do the talking, you'll just agree with everything I say, understood?" said Toby as he zipped up his jacket.

"No problemo."

"Then let's go."

Scene: Outside Agreste Mansion.

After failing to give Adrian's birthday present, the three girls decided the next best thing would be to post it at his place. So they made their way to Agreste Mansion, but they soon discovered when Marinette attempted to open the mailbox that it was easy said than done.

"This mailbox won't budge!" said Marinette.

"Ring the doorbell," said Alya pointing to the doorbell.

Marinette looked at her as if she was crazy. "Are you kidding? What if Adrien answers the—"

Camilla rolled her eyes and pressed on the doorbell herself, causing Marinette to panic. A split second later, a hidden compartment on the wall opened, and a camera appeared.

"Yes?" said Natalie's voice.

"Um, hi. I'm in Adrien's class, and I, uh—" said Marinette nervously as she showed the gift to the camera. "Heh, did I already say that? Umm…"

She then smiled at the camera awkwardly.

"Put it in the box," Natalie ordered.

The mailbox then opened, and Marinette then put the present into it.

"Thank you!" said Marinette, and the camera retreated, and the wall compartment close. Marinette then looked at Alya excitedly. "Oh! I hope he likes it!"

"See? It wasn't so hard," said Camilla.

"You signed the note, right?" Alya asked, and Marinette smiled, suddenly vanished, and was replaced with a look of dread, which answered Alya's question. "Ah, girl, girl, girl."

Marinette groaned, knowing that this was the second time she had forgotten to sign anything for Adrien.

Scene: Agreste Mansion.

Meanwhile, inside the mansion, Nathalie had entered her office with Marinette's gift in her hands and put it on her desk before sitting down.

"Who was that, Nathalie?" Gabriel's voice asked from the intercom.

Nathalie pressed down on the intercom, and Gabriel's face appeared on the monitor. "A friend of Adrien's. She was delivering a gift for his birthday."

"Did you remember to buy him a present from me?" Gabriel asked.

Nathalie blinked. "Uh-uh, but you didn't ask me to."

Gabriel glared at her angrily. "Of course I did!"

"Yes, Mr Agreste. I-I'll take care of it," she said quickly.

"Good," he said and ended the call.

Nathalie covered her face in fear, knowing that there was very little time for her to get a gift for Adrian. Then her eyes turned toward Marinette's gift, and her face lit up as she grabbed it. Then the doorbell rang again, and she quickly composed herself.

"Yes?" she asked.

Appearing on the camera monitor were Nino and Toby.

"Uh, hi," said Nino as his friend waved.

A few moments later, the two of them were inside the mansion, with Natalie waiting in the foyer.

"He'll be here in a minute," she informed them.

"Remember, leave it to me," whispered Toby as Nino fiddled with his bubble wand.

Gabriel then entered. "Adrien's not home yet."

"Bon après-midi, Monsieur Agreste," Toby greeted, "You may not know us but we are his companions from school."

"It seems that Colonel Jaiye trained you well," commended Gabriel after recognizing the tall African American teen.

"You know my dad?" Toby said with a mild surprise.

"You're looking at the well known fashion designer who created his uniform," he replied, reminiscing the old days, "An interesting client he is."

Hence one of the reasons he allowed Adrien to attend the twins' birthday party.

"But like I said, Adrien isn't around."

"Actually, we came to seek your audience," said Toby.

"Yeah, that's right du-" agreed Nino before quickly correcting himself, "-sir."

"Me?" said Gabriel, rather surprised.

"Indeed," nodded Toby, "You see, Adrien has been a very good companion over the past few months since his first time at school. And as today is his birthday, We were wondering if you can approve the organizing of a special banquet in his honor."

"No," said Gabriel bluntly, raising his palm, "That's final. I know what you're trying to do, and it won't work."

"That's messed up," said Nino as Toby sharply turned to Nino with a glare, trying to pass a silent message to stop talking, but without anyone noticing, Adrian entered the mansion, "He never screws up in class; he always does whatever you tell him: photoshoots, fencing, Chinese, piano—"

"Guys? You're here," he said, looking at the two of them, surprised.

Nino returned Adrian and smiled. "Anything for my best bud." He then turned back to Gabriel. "Show some awesomeness, du-I mean, sir, please."

Sadly Gabriel looked down at him rather angrily as Toby was facepalming while shaking his head.

"Forget it, Nino," said Adrien, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Really, it's fine."

"Let me make myself clear with both of you. I decide what's best for my son," said Gabriel as he turned to Toby, "If he's to have a banquet, then it'll be in another occasion in another time," and he then turned to Nino with a glare, "As for you, I've just decided that you're a bad influence and you're not welcome in my house ever again. Leave now!"

"Father, they were just trying to do something cool for me," Adrien protested.

Gabriel then left.

Nathalie then stepped in front of the three boys and faced Nino and Toby. "Goodbye."

Both boys started to leave, but Adrien caught up with them outside the front doors.

"Guys, wait!" he said. "I'm sorry. My father—he's pretty stubborn. It's just best to stay out of his way."

"It's fine, at least we tried our best," said Toby.

Nino, on the other hand, was still rather furious to learn that Adrien's father was much colder than he expected.

"It's not fair, Adrien. Harsh, uncool," he said, crossing his arms and then left, leaving behind a sad Adrian.

"Thanks anyway," said Adrien.

Scene: The Place des Vosges.

Nino was now sitting on a bench at the Place des Vosges, looking rather angry. He started to blow bubbles with his bubble wand.

"But, Daddy, please!" a kid pleaded as his father dragged him away by his hand.

"No, it's not playtime. You've got your chores to do," said the kid's father as he cried.

"Ugh. Adults ruin everything all the time," Nino grumbled angrily.

Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.

Hawk Moth opened the window as he sensed a powerful negative emotion.

"Desperate to help his friend, but feeling powerless. How frustrating! It won't be long before frustration turns to anger!" he said as he began to turn a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him."

He released the akuma into Paris, and it began making its way over towards Nino. Nino was still in the park blowing bubbles when the akuma flew into his wand.

"Hawk Moth is my name, and Bubbler is now yours," he said. "I will help you with these horrid adults, and all you have to do in return is help me get something from Ladybug and Cat Noir."

"Yes, Hawk Moth," said Nino as he stood up.

He then began to transform into Bubbler. He was now wearing a luminous, vivid red, arctic blue, and yellow elbow-length sleeved tunic with many parts of the suit being rounded like attached bubbles. Around his head, he has a red hood-like thing that features a red antenna on top with a red sphere. He has an eye-like black and white circle on his chest with two dark grey tubes attached. His bubble wand had now grown into what can only be described as a bubble sword.

He then suddenly took to the sky and landed on a rooftop.

"No more adults means total freedom! This is SOOO sweet! Off the hook!" he cheered as he took out his bubble sword and began flying over Paris, leaving a trail of purple bubbles behind.

The bubbles started to capture adults, then turned green and flew away while citizens screamed and tried to run away from the bubbles. Children began crying as they watched their parents floating up into the air, leaving them completely alone.

Hawk Moth, the only adult that wasn't whisked away, smiled from his lair. "Perfect."

Scene: Dupain-Cheng House.

Marinette was currently at home eating her lunch.

"Adrien must have gotten his gift by now," she said to herself as she arranged the peas on her plate to form a heart.

"What's that you said?" her mother asked as she opened the window.

Marinette sat up quickly, forgetting that her mother was in the room. "Um, I can't wait to get back to school this afternoon, hehe."

Her mother chuckled, but a purple bubble flew through the window and captured her. Marinette looked terrified as her mother screamed and was whisked away.

"Mum! MUM!" Marinette screamed as she rushed to the window and then noticed that her father had also been caught in a bubble. "Dad? Dad!"

"Your parents! Hawk Moth must've released another akuma," said Tikki.

"I've got to find his newest villain ASAP," said Marinette. "Tikki! spots on!"

Looking unhappy, Marinette then began to transform into Ladybug.

Bubbler was currently on the rooftops smiling down upon his work.

"And now, party time!" he said.

Ladybug just exited the bakery just in time to see purple bubbles forming in the sky, broadcasting a message from Bubbler.

"Today is your lucky day, little dudes," bubbler announced. "The adults have taken the day off, so make the most of it. No chores, no homework, no more nagging, just fun, fun, fun, fun. This is The Bubbler's gift to you."

Ladybug then bent down to pair of kids who were crying. "Don't worry, your parents will come back. I'll see to it." She then turned to the teenager standing next. "You take care of them in the meantime."

She then ran off.

"Yay! Go, Ladybug!" they cheered.

Scene: Agreste Mansion.

Adrien had just finished his lunch alone in his mansion's dining room.

"Wow. That was a birthday lunch break to remember. Yay!" he said with dry sarcasm. He then began making his way to the foyer and stopped, noting the place was emptier than usual. "Nathalie? Father?"

He then shrugs sadly, assuming the two of them had important work to do. He then walked outside, and to his surprise, he saw his classmates cheering at the bottom of the steps.

"Yay! Woo! Happy birthday!" they cheered.

"Hey, hey, hey, birthday boy," said a voice above him, and Adrien looked up to see Bubbler standing on top of a bubble. "Guess what? Daddy's gone. While the cat's away, the mice will play."

Adrien looked at Bubbler with a strange expression until he realised who he was.

"Nino?!" Adrien stared.

"The Bubbler's brought all yo homies together for one single-sole purpose, to ce-le-brate!" Bubbler cried.

"YEAH!" everyone cheered.

Bubbler then jumped down and landed in a DJ booth.

"Let's get this party started!" he yelled.

Everyone cheered, and Bubbler started to play music. Everyone began dancing to the music, but a still surprised Adrien snuck back into the mansion.

"Come on, everybody, I brought you here to party!" he yelled, but not every one of them was enjoying the party since they were practically forced into it. "So dance, or you'll join the adults up in the sky!"

He laughed as fireworks shot up into the sky.

"It won't be long before the M-Team show up to meet their doom!" Hawk Moth laughed within his lair.

Scene: Adrien's room.

Adrien made it back into his room and looked at his ring while Plagg climbed up to his shoulder.

"What's your problem?" Plagg asked. "Relax! You're getting the party you've always wanted."

"But Nino's been akumatized!" Adrien pointed out. "I've gotta help him!"

"You may never get this chance again!" Plagg reminded him. "C'mon, let's have a little fun while your father's away! Then we'll save Nino, trap his akuma, and all will be good."

Adrien could see the upside of this situation. He had never had a birthday party before, and this might be his only opportunity to enjoy one.

"Okay, you're right," he said. "This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once."

Scene: Rooftops.

Ladybug was still running around on the rooftops when she saw the fireworks shooting over Agreste's mansion.

"It's you and me, Bubbler," she said to herself.

Back at the Agreste Mansion, Adrien was now enjoying himself while dancing with everyone else.

"Yeah!" he said and then wandered off to a sad-looking Rose. "Hey, nice party, I guess, since it's my first one."

Rose smiled and gave him two thumbs up, but she kept on dancing and looking sad. Adrien turns around and sees everyone dancing but with a grim expression.

His eyes landed on Toby who looked back at him as he had noticed it as well.

Chloé motioned Sabrina to do something near the DJ booth.

Sabrina then approached Bubbler, looking rather frightened. "I'm requesting a slow dance."

"It's a bit early for that, isn't it?" Bubbler asked.

"Ugh," Chloé drones shoving Sabrina down and putting on an innocent face. "It's for Adrien. His first slow dance. Mm?" She then began blinking at him with a sweet innocent face.

"OH! You know it, girl," said Bubbler and changed the music to a slow dance.

The change of music didn't change the mood as everyone was now pairing up and dancing with sad expressions. Everyone apart from Chloé, who quickly walked up to Adrian.

"Is it me, or does everyone seem a bit weird?" asked Adrien, looking at her.

"Forget about them; let's go dance! C'mon!" she said, dragging him to the center of the dancefloor.

It was at that point that Ladybug landed on the balcony. From there, she could see Bubbler about to change a record and at Chloé and Adrien dancing. She then attempted to try to kiss him, though Adrian looked rather uncomfortable, pulling his face further away from her. However, upon seeing Chloé trying to kiss Adrian, Ladybug lost complete interest in Bubbler.

"There is no way this is happening. Lucky Charm!" she said, tossing her yo-yo up into the air. Seconds later, dropping within her hand was a record. "A record?"

She then began looking around for an idea; her eyes fell upon the empty record spot in the DJ mixer, the volume modifier and a ledge on the building across the street. Ladybug chuckled as an idea formed within her head. She then threw the record like a Frisbee; it struck the ledge and bounced over towards the DJ booth, hitting the volume all the way up, landed on the empty spot and began to play dance music again.

Upon hearing the change of music, everyone broke their pairs and Adrian used this opportunity to move away from Chloé. Upon realizing the change of music, Bubbler looked up, confused.

"Dude! Who just hijacked my mix?" he frowned.

"Yours truly," Ladybug smiled and then suddenly heard her miraculous beeping. "Better bug out quick before I change back to normal."

She then quickly jumped off the balcony without anyone seeing her and landed outside of Agreste Mansion.

"Spots off," she said and transformed back to normal. Tikki shot out of the earrings and landed in her hands, looking rather weak.

"Marinette!" she moaned weakly.

"It was an emergency," said Marinette defensively.

"Yeah, if by emergency, you mean jealousy," Tikki frowned. "You know what happens once you use your Lucky Charm. You only have minutes before—"

"I turn back, I know. But I figured, The Bubbler, he's not going anywhere; we have time to get you some food to get your energy back up. Then, we'll get right back out there, I promise."

Marinette then quickly stuffed Tikki into her purse and made her way to join the party. She quickly looked around and noticed a table full of party food quickly dashed towards it. She grabs some cookies and quickly puts them in her purse.

"I've got to find a place where I can transform, fast," she said.

"Where have you been, girl?" said Alya, causing her to jump. "I was so scared something had happened to you."

"Me too!" said Marinette as the two girls hugged one another.

"I'm sure the M-Team will show up in a minute to save us all," Alya assured her. "They never failed us. Meanwhile, come with me; Camilla and I have got something for you."

"Uh, there's something I've got to do first," said Marinette.

"It's about Adrien," Alya smiled.

Marinette blinked and then followed her. "Okay."

"Marinette, The Bubbler," said Tikki urgently.

"Okay, okay, in a sec."

Marinette then dashed off after Alya.

Meanwhile, Toby had noticed the gloomy atmosphere. Honestly, who can blame them?

Their parents are up in the sky and it's somewhat hard to enjoy a party while worrying about them.

And they were forced to show up to either 'have fun' or join their parents. Not like there was any other choice.

And at this rate one or two people right here will be whisked away in a bubble.

Then an idea occurred as Toby downed his drink before making his way to the DJ booth.

Moments later, they joined Camilla as they snuck inside Nathalie's office and could see Marinette's gift on her desk.

"Look! Now you can sign your gift," said Alya.

Marinette gasped. "Ah, yes!"

Not long after, they heard a cacophony of laughter coming from outside.

The reason goes thus:

We now see Toby on the booth with mic in hand as he had started telling a stand up comedy while acting it out.

In his current joke, there was a train conductor named Timmy.

All his life, he wanted to be a train conductor. He graduated top of his class in train school, and was hired by the most prestigious train company to conduct their new Super Train. This train could carry 1,000 passengers and was very expensive to manufacture.

Yet little Timmy had one fatal flaw. He had a very short attention span.

It just so happened that one day when Timmy was driving the train near a very sharp turn that required him to decrease the trains speed, a butterfly flew across the window.

Distracted, Timmy forgot to decrease the train's speed and ended up running it off the tracks, killing everybody inside except for himself.

In the strange country that Timmy lives in, the punishment for killing a lot of people with a train is death by electric chair.

So the day came when the executioner approached Timmy in jail and asked what he wants for his last meal.

Timmy thought for a minute, and then responded to the executioner by asking for a single banana.

The executioner thought it was a stupid request, but grants Timmy's wish anyways. He gave him a single banana, which Timmy ate in 3 bites.

The executioner strapped Timmy into the electric chair and pulled down the lever to start the flow of electricity.

When the smoke cleared, the executioner was shocked to see Timmy still alive, sitting in the electric chair!

Another strange law in the county Timmy lived in is if you survive the execution by electric chair, you get to walk away as a free man.

Timmy was distraught about losing his job as a train conductor. It just so happened that the same prestigious train company was desperate for a qualified conductor to operate their new Mega Train.

They hired Timmy back to his old job.

Timmy was driving the train in the exact spot where his previous accident occurred, when another butterfly flew across his window...

So Timmy was back in the jail cell when the executioner asked for his last meal (again).

Timmy thought for a minute, and asked for two bananas this time.

A bit suspicious, the executioner brought him his bananas which Timmy ate in 3 bites each.

Timmy was strapped into the chair, and the lever was pulled, but when the smoke settled, he still wasn't dead!

Again, Timmy walked free.

Again, the train company hired him back to drive their new Ultra Train.

And again, Timmy was conducting the train in the spot where the previous accidents had occurred.

Again, a butterfly flew across the window...

"...Well, you know the rest, so Timmy was about to be executed for the third time when the executioner approached him. He stated that Timmy won't be given a last meal this time, so there would be no way he could eat his bananas. Timmy was strapped into the electric chair and the executioner pulled the lever. The look on the executioners face after he realized Timmy still hadn't died was priceless," Toby narrated, acting out the expressions,

"So the executioner was like 'How are you still alive? I didn't give you any bananas this time!' And then Timmy replied, 'It's not the bananas. I'm just a bad conductor.'"

Majority of those that could understand were laughing, apparently lightening up the mood.

"Okay, here's another one," began Toby, "Three guys stranded on a desert island find a magic lantern containing a genie, who grants them each one wish. The first guy wishes he was off the island and back home. The second guy wishes the same. The third guy says: 'I'm lonely. I wish my friends were back here.'"

It seemed to be working as you could see the long faces on the guests being replaced with laughter.

At that same time, Back in Nathalie's office, Marinette was now signing a post-it note.

"'Love, Marinette'. There," she said and stuck the note on the present before giving it a kiss.

"Right, we're good," said Tikki popping her head out of her purse. "Spots on, Marinette."

"I can't do it now; Alya's here," Marinette whispered.

"What'd you say?" Alya asked who was standing at the door, ensuring no one disturbed them.

"Go ahead! We'll meet you in the yard," said Camilla.

Alya nodded and closed the door behind her, and Marinette gave out a sigh of relief, but then a thought came to her mind.

"So, what happened?" Marinette suddenly asked Camilla.

"What?"

"Why didn't you and TJ transform?"

"Thank you!" said Luupa who had flown out of Camilla's jacket, "That's the one million euro sundae question I've been asking her."

Camilla sighed to herself, "As we saw, the Bubbler hasn't done any damage. I thought maybe we could let Adrien have fun while it lasts since it's his birthday. Wouldn't you have done the same?"

Apparently she had a point which Marinette reluctantly agreed to, "Yeah."

"See? Everyone isn't perfect."

"But we've already waited far too long," said Tikki.

"You're right," said Camilla, "Luupa! It's Full Moon!"

Back outside, Adrien was now standing on top of the DJ booth as Toby handed him the mic.

"Hey, Paris, how you doing?" Adrian asked as he raised the mike into the air excitedly only for all of them to cheer, partly because Bubbler's hand was subconsciously on the hilt of his bubble sword. Both Adrien and Toby jumped down off the booth, but everyone stopped when they saw Ladybug and Gray Wolf standing on the roof.

"Ladybug?" Adrian stared.

Ladybug immediately threw her yo-yo, hitting the power switch and unplugging everything before retracting it.

"Sorry, Bubbler, but the party is over," said Ladybug.

"Why you gotta be like that?" Bubbler grumbled.

"You made all the adults disappear, that's why!" said Gray Wolf.

Chloé was leaning on Adrien's shoulder, but he quickly took off her hand and dashed towards the mansion.

"You will not bust up my party!" Bubbler announced as he drew his bubble sword.

Then with a single swing, two bubbles shot straight towards them, but they quickly deflect them with their weapons. Bubbler and the two heroines then jumped at one another and clashed, and everyone gathered quickly scattered to safety.

Both Adrien and Toby had made it into the former's room, as both Plagg and Breeze flew out of their holders' jackets, doing a little jig.

"I think I've been a complete idiot," said Adrian.

"It is not idiotic to seize a once in a lifetime opportunity. Anyone would have done the same," said Toby reassuringly as he held out his cuff bracelet, "Breeze! Take Flight!"

Breeze then flew into his bracelet as he transformed into Sky Falcon.

Adrien held out his ring. "Plagg! Claws out!"

Plagg then immediately flew into his ring, and he transformed into Cat Noir.

Outside, Ladybug and Gray Wolf were still battling against Bubbler. The lupine was firing arrows at the bubble themed villain who deflected all of them as he returned fire with his bubbles. Ladybug then tossed her yo-yo, but it was easily bounced off by one of Bubbler's bubbles. Cat Noir then entered, using his staff to knock the yo-yo up into the air before it struck her just before Sky Falcon arrived with a flying kick that knocked back Bubbler.

"Looks like I made it just in time," Cat Noir said.

"I had it under control," said Ladybug, and the yo-yo struck Cat Noir on the top of his head, "but thanks."

"Get the Miraculouses. I want those powers, NOW!" Hawk Moth ordered.

Bubbler then began throwing a stream of red bubbles at them. Quickly the M-Team used their weapons to protect themselves once the stream above. The team quickly turned to face Bubbler.

"Is that all you got, bub?!" mocked Sky Falcon.

Bubbler merely smiled and snapped his fingers. Instantly the red bubbles turned green and then started to circle around them. They began to stick to their bodies until they were captured in one big green bubble while Bubbler laughed. Ladybug tried to break through the bubble, but it was practically indestructible.

"Give me your Miraculouses before you run out of air," Bubbler demanded.

"Dream on, Bubbler," said Ladybug.

"Total party poopers, just like adults," Bubbler sneered.

"Kids need adults."

"False! Kids need freedom, fun, let loose and live it up. Adults are controlling and bossy."

"You know, most kids would agree with you and like you, they'd be thrilled to be rid of their parents," said Gray Wolf.

"But how long would that last before they start to miss their parents?" added in Sky Falcon.

"That's right. Adults keep children safe and protected. They care for their kids; they love them!"

"Most adults do anyhow," Cat Noir muttered to himself. "You must bring the adults back!"

"Know what, since you care so much about these adults, why don't you go float with them for a while?" Bubbler suggested and ran towards them before kicking the bubble high up into the air.

The M-Team screamed as the teenagers gathered gasped in horror.

"What do you think you're doing, Bubbler?!" Hawk Moth roared. "You're supposed to seize their Miraculouses!"

Scene: Green Bubbles up in the sky.

The M-Team found themselves flying higher and higher up into the air. They were already passing the Eiffel Tower. They desperately tried to free themselves by bursting the bubble, but it seemed indestructible.

Ladybug then quickly looked at Cat Noir. "Use your Cataclysm!"

"Couldn't you have said that five hundred feet ago?" Cat Noir asked, looking down at the ground, which was disappearing fast.

"We can't stay stuck in this bubble together forever."

Upon hearing those words, Cat Noir smirked at her. In response, she merely groaned, facepalming herself.

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir yelled.

He then quickly touched the bubble, and within seconds, it burst, causing them to fall to the ground.

"Should we see if you land on your feet this time?" Ladybug asked Cat Noir.

"No, thanks!" Cat Noir yelled.

"Hang on, guys," said Sky Falcon casually as he flared open his wings, allowing him to swoop in and grab Ladybug and Cat Noir as Gray Wolf took position on his back.

"Good thing cats aren't afraid of heights," said Cat Noir.

"We've got to get to his bubble sword; that's got to be where the akuma is."

Cat Noir then heard his ring beeping. "Better hurry."

"Then it's as always," said Sky Falcon, "M-Team! Let's do this!"

Scene: Agreste Mansion front.

Bubbler tried to get the party going again though everyone was reluctant.

"Where is everybody? Get out here and party!" he demanded.

"Sorry to burst your bubble," said Ladybug's voice.

Everyone looked up and saw standing on top of the gate were the M-Team.

"M-Team!" Alya cheered, and soon everyone else was doing the same.

"No one wants to party with you anymore, Bubbler," said Ladybug.

"I didn't get the chance to say this earlier but I'm sure you know our rules," said Sky Falcon, palming his fist, "All bubble blowing bad guys will be beaten senseless by us four able bodied heroes in the house."

Everybody cheered in agreement.

"What's wrong with all you guys!?" Bubbler snapped at the teens. "Why you gotta be such haters!?"

He then furiously took out his bubble sword and swung it. Soon all the teens were captured in purple bubbles.

"NOOO!" the M-Team cried as they watched them floating up into the sky.

"Outer space is the next stop for your precious peeps, and they're never coming back!" said Bubbler.

Bubbler then jumped onto the rooftop, and the three heroes began chasing after him from roof to roof. Bubbler then began flying toward the Eiffel Tower. Once there, he fired several explosive bubbles down at his pursuers as they began to climb the Eiffel Tower. Eventually, they reached the top of the tower but quickly rolled to safety to avoid another one of Bubbler's explosive bubbles.

Cat Noir then heard his ring beeped again. "I'm gonna switch back soon, hurry."

Ladybug then quickly tossed her yo-yo into the air. "Lucky Charm!"

Suddenly appearing out of thin air was a large red wrench with black spots

"Your… plumbing skill is gonna help us out?" Cat Noir frowned.

"Please tell me you're gonna whack him with that," said Gray Wolf.

Ladybug just merely shrugged.

Bubbler then tossed more bubbles at Cat Noir and Gray Wolf. The two of them began climbing the beams dodging the bubbles that he launched at them.

"Could use a little work! Is that all you got?" Cat Noir asked.

While Bubble's attention was on those two, Ladybug began thinking about how she could use the wrench. Her eyes then fell upon a nearby vent, it's piping, the screw connected to them and the wrench.

"Got it!" she said, and afterwards, the piping.

Noir and Gray were still dodging the bubbles, keeping Bubbler's attention upon them. Ladybug had reached the vent and was now using the wrench to unscrew the pipe. The moment she did, the pipe began swinging around like a dog's tail blowing air.

"Cat Noir, Now!" Ladybug yelled.

Cat Noir then jumped down from the beam and grabbed the pipe. He then hit the ground and looked back at Ladybug. "Go on!"

Bubbler then tossed more bubbles directly at him, but the airflow coming from the pipe deflected them. Bubbler raised his bubble sword once again…

"Alpha's Howl!"

… only to be blasted from the tower by a sonic blast from Gray Wolf as he began to fall. Sky Falcon had his sights on him as his wings hummed with energy, "Sky Dive!"

He dashed past Bubbler while breaking his bubble sword with his own sword in the process.

"Get out of there, you nasty bug," she said as the akuma flew out of the sword. "No more evil-doing for you, little akuma." She then opened her yo-yo and began spinning it around. "Time to de-evilize!" She then caught the akuma and pulled the yo-yo back. "Gotcha!" She then opened the yo-yo, and the purified akuma fluttered away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"

She then tossed the wrench into the sky, and the magical ladybugs flew around, returning everyone Bubbler had captured to safety. Sky Falcon landed with Bubbler across his shoulder before dropping him as the latter turned back to normal.

"Who? Dude," said Nino, totally confused.

The M-Team then bumped their fists. "Pound it!"

Scene: Hawk Moth's lair

"You can't run forever, M-Team, and when I catch you, I will crush you! I will DESTROY YOU ALL!" Hawk Moth growled as his window closed.

Scene: Nathalie Sancoeur's Office.

Nathalie was working in her office when Gabriel contacted her on the intercom.

"Nathalie? Did my son like his gift?" he asked.

"Actually, I was going to check right away, sir," she said.

"Good," he said and disconnected.

Nathalie looked around in despair before taking Marinette's gift. She sighed and crumpled and threw Marinette's post-it note in the garbage.

She quickly ran towards the dining room where Adrien was eating and then walked normally when she entered.

"A birthday present from your father," she said, handing Marinette's gift to him.

"Thank you," said Adrien taking the gift. "I mean, please say thank you to my father for me.

Nathalie nodded and left, leaving him behind. Adrien was looking at his gift happily. But not long after, he heard the sound of knocking against his window as he turned to that window only to find Sky Falcon perched there.

"Sky?"

Timeskip.

Scene: Unknown yet.

"Are we there yet?" a blindfolded Adrien found himself asking as he felt wind blowing against him due to being carried by Sky Falcon.

"Oh don't worry, we'll be there soon."

A few seconds later, the blonde teen felt Sky landing as he set him down gently.

"Cease Flight," spoke the normal voice of Toby, "You can take it off now."

Just as Adrien did so, he saw in front of him a set of decorations consisting of lights, balloons and banners, a round table and four chairs. On the table were four plates, cups, cutleries and on the center was a birthday cake. On one side of the table was an open cooler and a Bluetooth speaker while on the other side was another table that held a mini buffet and let's not forget the fact that all this was on the rooftop of Tour Montparnasse at nighttime.

"Surprise!" cheered his three teammates along with their kwamis.

"You guys did this for me?" said Adrien in awe.

Marinette replied, "Yeah. I mean sure we already had a party this afternoon."

"We all didn't get the chance to have fun properly," said Camilla

"Especially with guns pointed at our backs," added Toby.

"Nor did you get the chance to blow the candles," quipped Breeze.

"I gotta admit, you can thank Marinette for this," said Camilla as Toby pointed at Marinette who was confused at first but then nodded in agreement, "All this… was her idea."

"Wait, but I thought–" a very confused Breeze was cut off by Luupa who had covered his beak.

"Hush, don't tell," whispered the Arctic wolf kwami.

Adrien was at loss for words, "I don't really know what to say. This is a really great gift. Thanks, guys."

While he said it, both he and Marinette made eye contact with each other but sadly that moment was interrupted by Plagg who was yawning loudly.

"Okay so are we gonna keep talking about mushy feelings or we're gonna get the party started? I'm starving," said Plagg nonchalantly, causing Tikki to glare at the cat kwami.

They then guided Adrien to the table where they spent the next few hours after Adrien blew the candles and they all shared the cake as they all feasted, snacked, played games, sung, danced and made most of the fun out of the time they had before they finally concluded for the night as they cleaned up the party decorations as well as any and all evidence.

Scene: Outside school.

At school, Sabrina had the unpleasant duty of informing Chloé that Adrian's present would be delayed.

"What do you mean not for a week?!" Chloé screamed at her.

"There were no adults yesterday to deliver it," said a terrified Sabrina.

"So what? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!" Chloé then stormed off, and Sabrina followed.

Meanwhile, Marinette, Camilla and Alya had heard every single word.

"Ha ha! Serves Chloé right," Alya said to Marinette while Camilla snickered.

"Hey girls!" said Adrien, stepping out of his limo wearing Marinette's scarf.

"Hey, that's my scarf! He's wearing my scarf," said Marinette excitedly.

"Hey, dudes," said Adrian to Nino and Toby.

"I'm totally sorry about everything," said Nino.

"Wasn't your fault," Adrien smiled.

"Yo, nice scarf, Adrien. Off the chain," Alya called.

"Yeah, can you believe my dad got this for me?" said Adrian, much to Marinette's surprise. "He's so awesome. He's been giving me the same lame pen for three years in a row."

"Wow, I guess anyone can change," said Nino. "Adults can be cool when you least expect it."

"Indeed."

Adrian then turned to Nino looking slightly ashamed. "Speaking of adults, I know my father said you were a bad influence, but—"

"We're good, Adrien, don't sweat it," Nino assured him. "We're buds. Always and forever."

Alya turned to Marinette. "You gotta tell him you were the one who knitted the scarf."

"But he seems so happy about his dad. I don't want to spoil it for him."

"Aw, Marinette," said Alya hugging her. "You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday, Adrien will figure it out too. Promise."

The bell rang, and everyone began walking into the school.
