Chapter 23

The heavenly realm.

Three months would pass since the incident.

However, a few weeks before, Tiamat's uncle Yggdrasil had given the order to the divine who hated the dragon's rule on earth to attack. "They do not speak for me, for they do not obey me. They are yours to do with as you please, in fact, those who succeed, you are permitted to one liter of dragon blood or something of equal value!"

The last he heard, there were hundreds of thousands of divine creatures that are looking to attack the dragons.

He knew the humans and the demon dragons would be in no condition to fight after what happened to Yua. Those who learned of her condition either felt sorry for her or celebrated. That how simple it was to find the divine who hated the beasts.

Those who hate the Toorus, hate dragons.

He didn't follow up with any other details, but there was one thing he wanted to sort out. For there were three life forms, very weak, brought to his domain.

He had sent his fox to investigate, but he has yet to return.

"I am certain the divine have taken care of that pesky mortal by now. I know they cannot handle a demon dragon, but if the mortals are taken out, I would be happy, especially the Toorus…" he muttered offhandedly.

"SIR!"

He jumped as the fox he sent returned.

"Ah, there you are, about those life forms that came to the heavenly realm…"

"Sir… this is serious… a white, nine tail fox has come into my family!"

The dragon paused to this. "A white nine tails?" he asked. "What so important about that?"

His legion froze. "Sir… don't tell me you forgot? It's an omen!" he explained. "When a white, nine tailed fox appears, there is going to be great change in both worlds, you knew that, right?"

Was there such a thing? He didn't know or care about it. Yggdrasil merely brushed off the notion. "It is of no concern, besides, it's not a pure white fox we need to worry about do we? The fox is white but it has a trace of a single color within the fur, is there such a thing to make it appear as a special individual divine creatures?"

His messenger went silent.

"What are you hiding?"

The fox bit his lip and sighed. "The white, nine tail… does have a secondary color…"

The dragon was pissed to learn of this. "What color?!" he demanded. "For that matter, how do you know of this fox?!"

His massager went silent to the question… wait… if there is a white nine tails… does that mean… "What happened during the attack on earth?" he asked the fox…

One week ago.

They came by the masses. Thousands of divine creatures had converged on the land of Ryomen Sukuna, the humans don't see them, and the divine know better than to make a scene, after all, if others of their kind learned of this attack, they would be here in seconds and in far greater numbers.

"You know what to do, even if we don't take out a dragon, we will be rewarded for the Tooru women…" one of the Orcs said with a grin.

"I like that deal, if anything keep the girls alive!" said another.

The divine army converging on the domain consisted mainly of orcs, minotaurs, Ogres and other unpleasant divine beings. In fact, their hatred for dragons was so great it attracted curses to go along with the attack. Yes, divine creatures don't emit curse energy, but the emotion of it is enough to attract the curses to join. After all, where there is war, there is death and dismay.

They live and feed off such a thing!

There was no resistance as they came to the domain, there was nothing stopping them from entering. Yet, the moment the divine legions wondered in, there was an odd stillness to the battleground.

It was as if no one were there.

"What is going on? Did the dragons flee?" one asked.

"Nah, just making arrangements…"

The legion paused as they peered to see the demon dragon Suiryu standing before them. "It's the dragon!"

"Yeah, before we go into any more details here, can I just ask. What the fuck is your problem?"

The divine froze. "What are you talking about?"

"Don't give me that bullshit, you came here to kill us… since when has ANY legion succeeded in killing a dragon?"

"Humans have!" came out of an ogre.

"Yeah, but any of you?" he asked. "You're here to die, so be it. But if you leave now. I'll over look the whole incident okay? I am not in the mood for war and if you want one, just be prepared, you will die" he said sternly. "Now, take your pick. Life or death?"

They raised their weapons.

"You have chosen death… by the way, did you really think we weren't aware of the other forces coming in from behind and through the daemon gates here?" he asked bluntly.

The army froze.

That was their trump card was to catch them off guard… but… they KNEW?!

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE'RE HAVING BBQ TONIGHT!" Suiryu roared.

They came by the thousands.

And yet, even with such numbers, they were slaughtered. However, one of the divine noticed something odd. The dragon before them, Suiryu was targeting only certain warriors!

'What is the dragon doing? Why is he picking off opponents one by one? Or… they are just that weak!' The poor Orc had no idea as to why this was happening.

In fact, before the invasion, there was a meeting. Sukuna called for it and gave everyone a list.

"Is this a goddamn shopping list?!" Suiryu demanded of him.

"Yes," he said bluntly. "On that piece of paper are ingredients I need… for Rook Tooru's training."

Suiryu peered over the listen and paused to a lot of the things he was asking for. "Are you sure these are not just snacks for you later?"

"The leftovers are" he said and smirked. "But right now, I want this boy to be as strong as he can be. So, with that being said. I need livers and lots of them…"

Suiryu was given the task of collecting the livers of the Orcs. But they have to be certain Orcs, not just run of the mill ones. They have to be top tier pigs, special individuals or at least 300 years old to take their liver from. Suiryu peered over the prey and sighed. "Of course the ones I need are cowards and hide in the back… so be it…" he muttered.

Suiryu then powered himself up before he tore through the unwanted Orcs to get his list fulfilled…
