Chapter 24
They flooded the domain.
The divine creatures who were told that the dragons have weakened decided it was time to take the dragons out once and for all.
But no one told them there was more than two.
In fact, they found it rather troubling that there were dragons all over the place! But some were crafty and knew to avoid them, these were the elites that Tiamat's uncle had trained himself and were sent for one reason.
Take out the female Toorus by any and all means.
These warriors are from the fox tribe and knew how to get in and out with ease. This legion had sworn their loyalty to Yggdrasil centuries ago, they wouldn't dare to break their oath to him!
Yet there was something wrong. The leader felt it instantly as he found the sight of war altering before him. The dragons stopped fighting.
Keeping silent, the foxes merely observed as they found the dragons picking over the corpses of the fallen and extracting various parts. Many thought it was insulting since the war was not over and they were already harvesting the dead.
"We didn't forget about you!" claimed a demon dragon who was soft spoken. "In fact, we had to make an arrangement. We collected what we needed and the rest of you… are taken care of by them…"
There was a burst of light, then there were countless divine creatures at the ready behind this dragon!
The chilling part were the tooth fairies… no one in the divine would dare confront or mess with them. They swarm and could pick bones clean in mere seconds. However, none of the foxes realized that there were tooth fairies the size of humans!
"Ah, master, you kept your word!" one tooth fairy cheered.
The dragon smiled. "Please don't call me master, but thank you for answering my call for help. The rest are yours. If you are full please try not to damage the bodies too much. We will use them later."
The foxes froze as they saw an unholy sight erupt before them. The tooth fairies tore into the masses without hesitation. The foxes know if any of them are caught by a tooth fairy, no one will save them.
Besides, they have a mission to complete. They were fox team 1, and their target happened to be Yua Tooru.
Their master wants the job finished once and for all.
So, when the timing was right, they made their move. Following the scent of Yua Tooru, they arrived at her house and prepared for a fight. Yet, upon breaking down the door, ten foxes paused as they saw a single man with smoldering hair and clothing, sitting in the living room in a meditative state.
"A simple knock would have been nice," he said gently. One eye opened to them, a black eye peered at the legions, as if it peered into their very souls. "Hmph, of course you are…"
"Where is Yua Tooru!" the leader demanded.
"I don't have to answer you." The man replied. "I'll tell you, but this young man here insisted that you get pass him first…"
The legion froze as something came before them… something only heard in myths to the fox legion. So much so they stumbled out of the house and trembled.
Before them was a white nine tail fox with baby blue streaks in its fur. As if it were powdered snow…
"So… noisy…" he said in a very board tone. "Then again, mother had warned me of you, foxes who answer that of an evil dragon… I am not to take pity on you either…" he brandish a fan, one that appeared to be made of pure, untainted ice! His nine tails unfurled before them and they bore a white blue flame on the tip of each appendage.
"Be gone… or… FREEZE!" one wave of the fan, and it was a winter's day within a 200 radius of this fox.
The cold he summoned chilled the legion to the bone, as many simply vanished into the snow…

The divine that came to fight was courtesy of Kitsune and Naoya of all people! Naoya spoke with those at his residence, the divine who sought shelter from him were up in arms to the news that Yua was targeted. "She's one of the last TOORUS! HOW DARE THEY!" one fairy shouted.
Oddly enough, after Naoya gave the order for the divine to become bigger, they all did so without hesitation, at the same time, none have been able to turn back to their former small figures. "I have been told you are not ordered or have to fight. But if there is any here who wish to do so, you have permission to enter the domain and fight on behalf of the Tooru clan." He decreed. "So, is there anyone here who wishes…"
The bar suddenly emptied.
Naoya paused to this as he turned to the barkeep who had yet to move. "Well, looks like business is going to be slow…" he said offhandedly. He put the cup he was cleaning down and then, took off his apron. Coming out from around the bar, Naoya finally saw how big this guy was!
He was a tank.
"So… where's his battle happening?"
"I thought you didn't care for dragons?"
"After what you and Tiamat's mate try to pull on me… I can't help but feel that these dragons are a lot different than the ones I was made aware of. At the same time, any other dragon would have beaten me nearly to death to get information… he never did that. So, I'll trust them this once and go from there…"
When Naoya arrived on the scene. Four thousand divine creatures backed him, and many had battle experience.
They appeared just behind Sukuna of all people who was able to beat back the masses rather easily, yet…
"Having trouble?" Naoya asked.
Sukuna glared at him. "I can't use my technique!" he protested. "It works but…" he turned to the fallen divine creatures he intended on harvesting. Their bodies began to go rancid and were fed off of by curse creatures. Those Sukuna dealt with easily but he wants to secure materials.
"Everyone, spread out!" Naoya ordered.
"Say, let me have a go at this…" came the barkeep.
Naoya nodded as the bar keeper approached Sukuna, they have a very brief conversation until… the bar keep began to grow, change and alter.
He grew out bat like wings, a scorpion tail, thick barbs from his back and yet still bore a lions mane.
"Ah, manticore, should have known…" Naoya muttered.
What bothered him was the fact that the manticore and Sukuna worked really well together! The manticore ripped a barb from it's back before sharpening it with his claws instantly making a sword. He tossed it to Sukuna who was now smiling wickedly with the weapon in hand and stared at the divine before him. "Finally a precision weapon!"
Dismantle and cleaver is not just names for a technique. Naoya was oddly inspired as to how fast Sukuna broke down an Orc!
"Perhaps I'll get in on the fun too…" Naoya said with a grin of his own.
He looked about the domain and saw bodies everywhere. He smirked a little. "I suppose I could clean things up…"
In a flash, he went around, gathering the materials needed and making two piles. One of extras and one of the list. He had everything on the list and the extra was starting to pile up. "I wonder if these are really that good to eat?" he thought…
