Sorry for the delay.

Chapter Ten; For Gotham
A frown appeared on my face when I returned to the club and saw the dead bodies scattered in front of the building. The place was dead silent too. Did Spectre return?
With trepidation in my heart, I walked into the club. What I saw made my eyes narrow. Black Canary was pointing a revolver at a man in black robe and eye mask. Okay, that could have been good if that was all, but the man held a sword to Marcus Bertinelli's neck. The crime lord was sitting on a chair with a sullen expression on his face- said face which was more bruised than I'd left him.
All around the room were broken tables and chairs.. the dead bartender was laying on the bar top. Jesus, that dude just served me a drink like thirty minutes ago. "What's happening here?" I asked.
"That man just showed up and started killing everyone," Black Canary said not taking her eyes away from the Talon.
"He did now didn't he?"
"I was curious," the Talon said. "I hadn't expect you to be a Negro,"
"Yeah, the court..." I hesitated. "What are you trying to do holding a knife to his neck anyway? Leverage?"
"I don't need leverage James Greek,"
"Sure, sure.. So tell me, did you come here to talk or just to kill?"
"You got the court's attention," he said. "But the question is, can you withstand it?" The Talon drew his sword sideways, slitting Marcus Bertinelli's throat in the process. I let out a shaky breath biting down a scream, meanwhile the assassin held my eyes tauntingly.
The rage finally set in. I lifted my hand and blasted atvhim with a bolt of purple light, but the Talon blocked with his sword. Then he suddenly wheeled backwards as Canary started shooting at him, avoiding the bullets. All of a sudden he kicked off the ground, the wall, and leaped at me as Canary's gun ran out of bullets.
But I sent him flying away with a thick blast from my chest. "Damn it!" I said as I realized I'd ruined another shirt. It had a hole at the chest like most of the others now. I am on a budget you know? He's gonna pay for this...
The blast made the Talon crash through the wall of the building and fell outside. I followed him out of the hole he made- He was just rising to his feet when flew at him delivery an uppercut to his chin that carved his chin inwards and sent him flying straight to the sky like a rocket.
Now that was overkill! I totally forgot I was still juiced from my fight with Spectre. I flew after him again.
When I found him he was sprawled out in the middle of the street a block away, so I stood and waited. After some time, he struggled to his feet under my gaze. "Why did you do that?" I asked coldly.
He flexed his regenerated jaw before answering. "Do what?"
"Kill Marcus Bertinelli,"
"Oh that... an excellent question," the Talon grinned. "Marcus Bertinelli crossed the Court, we can't have him telling you stuff now could we?"
"Just that?"
"Yeah," the Talon shrugged. "Can we end this farce here? Marcus Bertinelli is not worth the trouble, he'd have double crossed you anyway,"
"What do you mean?"
"What do I mean? You really think he knows where the whisper gang are hiding? Something even the court doesn't?"
"I don't know.."
"Right, you don't. Listen to me, we don't have much time. Sam Bradley is in the GCPD, you should hear what he has to say first, we are not the enemy here."
The Talon turned and started leaving. I watched him silently as I pondered- did he come here to tell me just that?- then turned and flew to back to the club. I found Black Canary on the rooftop we'd been observing the club on earlier, and alighted beside her. After telling her everything, we proceeded to the GCPD together.
The GCPD headquarters is an old gray building. Two stories high. The front door was open, leading into the inside that was a complete bedlam. A total pandemonium too. Cops came and went, shouting and talking. Birdmen were chained in cells that lined the side of the walls. The people-turned monsters were growling and shrieking from behind bars.
No one spared us more than a glance as we walked in. Canary looked around then went towards a particular desk. A dark haired man in suit was sitting there sorting through some files. "Detective Corrigan," Canary said.
He looked up. "Hey, the Black Canary in the GCPD, what's the occasion, a full moon?"
"Very funny," Canary rolled her eyes. "Did you see Bradley?"
"Sam Bradley the rogue? The boys towed him here earlier, said he had something to do with the 'birdman attack'. The cages are full as you can see, so he's locked up upstairs,"
"Can we meet him? It's urgent, we think the terrorists might be planning another attack,"
"I don't know," the man said looking around. "I'll ask the chief, wait here." He rose to his feet and headed upstairs.
After he left I looked at Canary. "What's that man's full name?"
"Jim Corrigan, why?"
My expression turned grim. So the Spectre huh? I know he's suppose to be a cop but I didn't know he worked for the GCPD. Wasn't he supposed to be based in New York? Wait, so after fighting me he just changed cloths and went to the office. These guys are rediculous.
Jim Corrigan finally returned. "Come with me,"
We followed him upstairs, past a few doors before stopping at one. "You got five minutes. And no torture or I'll kick you out,"
Canary just grinned.
The place looked like a file room. Bradley, sitting on a chair with both his hands handcuffed to the desk before him, looked up as we entered. I closed the door behind us. "Thank goodness," he said.
"You got something for us?" Black Canary asked.
"You are damn right I do! The Nazis are planning on turning this whole city to a bird nest. It goes down tonight, they plan on releasing it from somewhere high up. Don't know if they have a plane or something,"
"Whoa, wait, slow down," I told him. "How do you know this?"
"Because they fucking told me, is why."
"Why would they even do that?"
"Because they had me captured, dangling from the ceiling and all, makes them loosen up... Don't ask anymore questions, some sword wielding men saved me and told me to go to the GCPD, that I'd get help,"
"Who spilled all this exactly? I believe it was not the crazy scientist?"
"No, it was this man,"
"How did he look?"
Bradley hesitated. Probably wondering why that was important at this time, finally he sighed and replied, "Tall, dark haired, crazy eyes. Looked European? Wore a long brown coat with a scarf around his neck, you know him?"
"Maybe," I wondered if he's Vandal Savage. You know? Who will be so obsessed with birdmen? It was not about the birdmen though, it was about those related to it. Hawkman and Hawkgirl. This has Savage's stamp all over it. Well, it's either him or Heth Khol or whatever that other Egyptian's name is.
Ha..
"Now what?" Canary asked as we came out of the police department.
"I don't know," I looked up at the sky. "It's not gonna be difficult to stop if they'll be coming with planes. I could just destroy them all, what I fear is something more covert,"
"Like what?"
I sighed. "I don't know... I am gonna patrol the city,"
"Sure, I'll check the progress on the vaccine,"
With that we separated. Canary heading to Wayne cooperation and me flying away. I floated through the night sky in deep thought, the cold air pleasant to me. I couldn't really feel it with the forcefield at first but now I could filter what I want and does not want.
Passing the clock tower it beckoned to me in the odd way heights do, so I turned around and flew back to it. Sitting on the edge with my feet dangling in space I felt strangely at ease. It was funny, my first day in this world I was scared of everything; I felt like I could just die at any moment from unseen attack. It's the fear you feel a battlefield. But just like war you get used to it somewhat.
My first campaign I was skittish. No, I wasn't no where close to the action, but you could hear it, you know? The gunshots. I love guns but I hate gunshots, it is a sign that something is wrong. That my allies were under attack and not on the other way around; when my allies attack, it is usually not near anywhere I could hear. Anyway, people were dying everyday, but I was just there to maintain fighter jets.
I didn't know that I started dozing off till I heard something and jerked awake. I traced the noise by flying closer to the hatch door silently. Up close, plus my super hearing, I could finally make out the words.
"From up here it'll be enough to spread all over the city commander," a female voice said.
"Good, the Americans will not see this coming. I think it is about time we end this war," a man replied. I could hear the grin in his voice. "I got the JSA distracted, but we should hurry it up as there are other mystery men around,"
"Is it really necessary to care about these people Vandal Savage?" A different woman said. The voice was familiar, I frowned in thought. "I think we are better off caring about the British people,"
"No, don't underestimate them even if they are not much yet Gundra. I have experience in these things, they might be the cause for us losing this war if we are not careful,"
"If you say so, I am going to keep watch,"
"No, don't go outside yet, either one of mystery men or the uppity Court might see you,"
"It's already too late," a new man said. "There's a rat on the roof!"
My heart sank.
Light flashed and I turned around just in time to see Wotan materialize on the rooftop. Immediately, I threw two bolts of light at him with my hands and flew back quickly, just in time for Gundra to burst out of the hatch door, spear first, under the spot I was just standing.
We regarded each other for a moment, two against one. "Wotan and Gundra," I said sourly.
"We meet again James Greek," Gundra said with her usual self importance.
Wotan just sneered. "I have been looking forward to repaying you for last time," he looked ready to throw a spell as his hands started glowing. I tensed up ready evade.
"Wait!" A man stepped out to the roof pushing aside the broken hatch door. He was tall, with long black hair that reached his shoulders. He wore a brown trench coat with a blue scarf around his neck. "We meet finally James Greek," he grinned at me. "I have heard so much about you,"
"Vandal Savage?" I said a little surprised I mattered to him. But I guess I helped shut down his Nazi island and kill Parsifal, his buddies must have said something about our clashes too. "Yeah, we finally meet. So how's the pursuit of your life long dream of world domination going? You have been at this for what? A thousand years? And still nothing... You don't really know how to go about doing it do you?"
The man just grinned. "I see what they say is true. You are interesting,"
"And you are not. By the way, Wotan, I can't believe you are taking orders from this caveman. I mean you can follow someone because of age, but then, you are old too..." Come to think of it, they are all immortals. How cool. Maybe they know each other for centuries. I am jealous!
"You know nothing you vile vermin. Savage have your talk with him. I'll enjoying flaying his skin when you are done," with that Wotan stepped back and looked away as if he wasn't interested in the conversation anymore.
Vandal Savage grinned. His eyes were taunting me. Telling me that my plan to drive a wedge between them didn't work. "You know, I knew a man with skin like yours. He was a slave in one of the ships I served as captain in past eras or so. He had this grim look in his eyes as he was ferried across the sea, a lost of hope perhaps.
"You have something about you that reminds me of him, and who knows? You might be his descendant after all. It's a small world they say. Anyway, this is the country and people that contributed to that cause, to that man's pain. Yet you stand in their defense. You are nothing but a pathetic dog eluded from your priorities, what will the man say if he looks at you?"
I frowned giving it a serious thought. "He'll say things have gotten better, and I'll tell him it will get better still... But I guess we'll never know. Though I do know something. We'd both agree that you are worse. That I should stand against everything you stand for,"
Savage frowned. "Really now..."
"Are you done?" Wotan snapped.
"Yes," Savage looked into the hatch and stepped back. "Bring up the device Dr Poison. And hold keep him away you two, we have to set up this thing,"
Before he finished, Wotan zoomed forward and threw an orange eldritch blast at me. I flew further back, evading. "He's mine Gundra, stay away!" The wizard growled flying after me.
"Very well," the Valkyrie replied without any expression. Ignoring them I flicked my booster watch for additional juice. And faced the wizard unafraid. I could have been worried if he had teamed up with that dangerous Valkyrie. This is my chance.
Wotan lifted his hands and started gathering green murky energy around each one. He brought them down, molding them into a giant ball as it came flying at me. I moved to the side then sent a bolt at the wizard as reply. It wasn't that powerful, just enough to distract him. The villain blocked my attack with an orange arcane shield.
Using the opening, I closed the distance with a burst of speed and threw a punch. He blocked it with the shield but was still sent flying back from the force of blow after it broke the shield. I pressed my advantage. Following after him, throwing fast punches and kicks, keeping him in the defensive.
The fact that I was dominating the battle did not surprise me. The first time we fought I didn't have as much energy as I do now and definitely not this much mastery of my powers or even enough super powered fighting experience. Taking all that into account, I am far stronger now. Well, I didn't think it will be this easy to overwhelm him though as Wotan obviously came with countermeasure spells against me.
Still he hadn't considered one thing; if it couldn't hit me, it couldn't hurt me.
I pressed him hard not giving him any time to think. Anytime he tried to do something, I snuffed it out like the wind blowing out a candle. He split himself to two. But I broke the clone in an instance and sent his real body flying away from a punch in the gut. Therefore he went skidding in the air like a broken kite.
He vanished. But using my super hearing I spotted him in an instance and shot towards him. After a few punches that made him loose consciousness, I held him by the neck and squeezed. He woke up immediately with wide eyes. The wizard growled desperately, summoning a strange gun to his hand. But I grabbed his wrist with my other hand and crushed it. Letting the gun fall down to the ground.
I used both hands now to squeeze his neck, wanting to break it, but I saw Gundra flying at me atop her winged horse. She pointed her spear at me and shot that distasteful lightning. In panic I hurled Wotan on the way. He screamed as the lightning struck him then went falling down from the sky.
Gundra made a beeline to me shooting the lightning from her spear again and again. I flew away, evading. The lightning struck the buildings around breaking walls and windows. Luckily this part of the city had mostly highrise office buildings so it was less likely for anyone to be in there at this hour. Especially with the curfew.
I read the pattern of Gundra's attack then turned around and waited. Just as she fired another lightning bolt at me I swerved downwards and ducked underneath her mount. Flying on my back in the air, I had the winged horse's belly in view. I swiftly threw a punch, using an old trick when I first discovered my powers of releasing the energy from my fist the moment my punch connected. The horse and Gundra went flying away, disappearing over a building in the distance.
Panting, I flew back to the tower. I saw Vandal Savage, a woman in a dark dress with half her face covered in a brown mask and five goons in casual cloths with rifles slung over their shoulders as their hands were occupied carrying something. I intended to slam down into Vandal Savage with the full might of my flight but I hit an invisible wall when I neared, bouncing back. "No you don't," Savage grinned fiercely.
I skipped in the air for a moment before steadying myself and flew back forward.
Standing just in front of the place I was repelled, I paused then squinted my eyes. An almost invisible dome forcefield covered the rooftop. I couldn't enter, so I turned my eyes to what the people on it were doing. They steadied a contraption that must have been carried from below on the roof. Two long cylinders of two meters length, strapped together with tape. Savage pressed a button on a calculator like device stuck between the two cylinders. It started counting down with red numbers.
The villain turned to me. "You have 10 minutes to save the city, but you can actually speed it up by breaking the barrier before schedule. Good luck," He took out a remote control that had only one button from his pocket and pressed it. A portal with a blue border appeared behind him.
The goons and the masked woman- who could only be Dr Poison- quickly stepped into the portal, but Savage stopped first at the entrance. "Tick Tock," He laughed then went in and just like that the portal vanished.
"Fuck!"
First thing I did was break into the tower through the wall. I appeared in a chamber that looked like a lab, the clock gears were at the sides. Above was the bottom dome of the barrier that completed what I realize was spherical forcefield. "So I can't break in through here too," I muttered and went out.
BAAAANG!!!
A powerful blow sent me flying just as I exited the tower. Something terrifying had struck me. Tumbling in the air, as the scenery rushed around me, I spent a lot of energy just to heal the damage. In contrast I got no energy from being hit that hard- only the little I got from the eventual hard landing. Disoriented, I flicked both my booster watches before rising to my feet.
Wotan was flying leisurely to me, his cape fluttering in the wind. Half his face was burnt badly and his eyes has a wild look in them that promised oh sweat vengeance. Gundra landed in front of me looking very pissed. "This is for Stormwind!" She cried out thrusting her spear at me. I jumped to the side then flew up, only to come crashing down from an attack from Wotan. It was a giant murky green fist that hammered me down.
Again I was hit, again I got no energy! I was starting to panic. Wotan noticed and sneered down at me. "This is the spell I made after our first encounter. Don't bother resisting!"
"If it is that good, why don't you fight me alone coward!?" I said as Gundra charged at me.
"Your tongue won't save you!"
I tried to rise in the air but the giant fist appeared again so I had no choice but to dived hard to the side, dodging. Gundra closed the distance and kicked me in the gut. I went flying falling back, she jumped after me landing with boom as I rolled away. The Valkyrie stepped on me in the stomach to pin me down then stabbed her spear to my chest. I managed to catch the spear with both hands. Straining and gritted my teeth as she pushed down.
"You hurt Stormwind," she said. "Hear this mortal, you'll suffer for that! My divine spear kills at a touch... you'll watch in despair as it inches to your heart. As death closes in,"
True to her words, the spear was slipping closer and closer. I realized with horror that she wasn't even using her full strength and roared in frustration putting more strength in my hands.
"Yes," she went on. "This is the eyes of despair. I'll make you feel it!"
"Damn it!" I growled. Watching the spear's tip inch close to my heart in frustration.
Then I heard a boom, a crack, and a groan. The spear jerked out of my hands as Gundra was sent flying from a blow. Panting I looked to the side to see the Spectre floating in the air. He offered his hand and pulled me to my feet.
"Thanks," I said panting.
He nodded and turned to the others. "Wotan," he said lightly.
"Spectre," Wotan growled in reply.
Gundra picked herself from the ground and regarded the newcomer sourly. "It has been a while Spectre, you are annoying as ever," she said touching her jaw.
"You two are in awe of my might like always too," Spectre replied.
"Egoistic as ever, hmm?"
Suddenly our attention switched to the motorcycle approaching. Black Canary parked on the sidewalk then hopped off. "Did I miss something?" She asked.
"You are just in time," Spectre replied.
"We'll also help," The Talon walked out of the darkness then more poured out filling the street. The lead Talon stepped forward with a smirk. "The court of owls sends its regards. Nazis are not permitted in Gotham,"
"I am not Nazi," Wotan sneered. "And who needs your permission?"
"You are out numbered folks, better give it up," Black Canary added.
"Out numbered?" Gundra tilted her head as if she didn't understand why we thought so. She lifted her spear in the air then screamed at the top of her lungs. A loud sharp scream that made me frown.
The sky shimmered like a mirage then started turning like a whirlpool. Then from the hole in the center, women on winged horses poured out. The 15 Valkyries swooped down and landed on the street behind Wotan and Gundra. Each armored woman was similar to Gundra with winged helmets but they held swords instead of spear.
"Not enough?" Wotan said lifting his hands. Before we could react large orange magic circles appeared around him. Spectre shot to him, trying to stop whatever he was trying to do, but an invisible shield bounced him back. The orange glare receded and in its place stood hellish creatures;
Bull like humanoids, Minotaurs?
Orcish gray giants, Trolls maybe.
A hideous bat like creature with a woman's head, Harpies? And giant hairy spiders. The monsters shrieked and roared, eying us with malevolent violent eyes of demons.
"How about now?" The wizard completed.
"We can call it a fair fight," I conceded helplessly.
The battle for Gotham begun.
Both sides crashed into each other. From the first crash it was obvious the enemy was stronger by the way they cut into our formation. The hell creatures were one thing, but the Valkyries gave them an undeniable advantage- they were basically super powered cavalry after all. We didn't have an answer for that. Though we have an immortal army of ninjas on our side so it's not like we were getting steam rolled.
I crash through the line of demons, crushing the creatures to the spray of mucous and innards. A group of Talons had Gundra occupied so I flew towards Spectre who was fighting Wotan. I helped him send the wizard flying back then said to him. "There's a birdman bomb on the clock tower, I don't..."
"Go," he told me. "I am going to hold them here!"
I nodded then flew off.
Returning to the tower I was torn to see there was only 4 minutes remaining until the bomb goes off. I circled around the tower once- the clock hands were broken and a hole was in the face- and went in again. I can't break the barrier to take out the bomb least I risk triggering it. I mean Savage could be lying, but it wasn't worth the risk to find out.
Still, I have an idea as to how I could solve this but I'd need more juice. Flying out of the tower, I flew further into Gotham. Behind me, I saw Gundra had seized one of the other Valkyrie's mount and was giving chase. "Damn it!" I cursed. Then picked up speed, using the buildings around to shield me as I sought to elude her.
After sometime I realized she wasn't following, then continued on my way. I found what I sought all too quickly- a high tension electric pole close to a factory building. I first made sure Gundra was not following before taking a deep breath and grabbed the wire.
With a buzzing sound, sparks flew everywhere.
A scream escaped my lips as pain traveled through my body from the hand grabbing the wire upwards. The suction force was too much that I couldn't release the high tension wire even if I wanted to. My body shook and smoke rose clouding my vision. Yet through the smoke I could see something shooting at me. Desperately, I took control of my powers and managed to pull back from the wire. I dived to the side falling on the ground.
Turning I saw Gundra on the flying horse swoop past where I was hanging earlier. A moment delay and she'd have skewered me. She jumped off the horse and landed with a blast on the asphalt.
My hand was healing quickly. I was so full of energy I felt bloated. I rolled to my feet. Gundra closed the distance and thrust her spear but it was too slow to my heightened perception.
I caught the spear with one hand. Her eyes widened at my claw like grip and I grinned. "It was game over the moment I touched that pole diva," I kicked her. Gundra went flying- leaving her spear in my hand- smacking into a building. She started rising but I pointed her spear at her and willed it to throw lightning. A bolt of divine lightning flew out and struck her. She twisted and collapsed back to the ground, her eyes rolled up that it showed only whites.
"So that's how it works," I muttered tossing the spear to the side. I would like to secure her but I was running out of time here. I shot back to the tower.
Down in the streets of center Gotham was pure pandemonium. Assassins and demons and cosmic level beings- in Wotan and Spectre- clashed. Sonic booms sounded repeatedly, the ground trembled and roars pierced the night. It was like a battleground, with artillery fire and all.
Luckily there was no civilians nearby, if not the casualty will be beyond imagination. Still some civilians died from stray magic or spells around the city I am sure. People close to the area were screaming and fleeing.
I could see all that with my heightened sight. I saw everything from above, capturing every detail. I almost felt omnipotent. This is the most energy I'd ever absorbed. Time slowed to a crawl around me as I appeared before the tower with two minutes remaining.
Tweaking my purple light a little I turned it into sharp lasers and used it to cut off the top floor of the tower. I went into the floor below this time and grabbed the ceiling pushing up. With that I carried the top floor of the tower off- with the barrier and bomb with it- away.
It felt light that I didn't even strain. Flying towards the sea would do it... Deciding that, I headed there quickly. Once above the sea, I started going up, gaining altitude. It'd be better if I could take it to space.
The tower was wrapped with an additional forcefield of my purple light- something I did instinctively as I carried it off- so I hoped it could bare the brunt of escaping this planet.
I went up and up in the dark sky. It was quiet here making everything feel surreal. I was suddenly left to reflect on everything that happened until now. How I had found myself in the DC universe, the friends and enemies I made in this short time. Everything had happened quickly. Yes I think of my family and friends back home before I sleep at night, but beside that I am always too busy thinking of how I'll stay alive.
It grew cold and frost covered the forcefield around my body. I continued up. At some point I felt the resistance and groaned pushing harder.
"Grr.. Harr!!!"
I broke out of the bounds of the earth into space. Shooting up, I hurled the building away. Panting, I looked around. The blue planet sat below me. Yes it was beautiful, but more importantly I could breath in space.
Damn I am so fucking overpowered. It is rediculous. I could do literally everything as far as I have energy, how crazy is that? Though the rate of burning the energy depends on how hard the task is. With small energy I become stronger and faster, but can't fly.
If I absorb more, then I could use the forcefield and also fly. More than that, I am faster, stronger and more preceptive. Also, I could cover other things too with my forcefield if I go beyond that.
Watching the building tumble slowly in space I sighed as I drowned in my narcissistic thoughts.
When I finally returned, I saw that the JSA has arrived. I watched them from the distance as they arrested Gundra and several Valkyries. Hourman was overseeing everything; I saw the Flash and Green Lantern but didn't see Wonder Woman so I saw no reason to go there.
The Talons and Spectre has disappeared, but Black Canary was present. I spotted her beside a car with Wildcat. Wotan was unaccounted for too. I flew away before anyone could spot me, even though it was unlikely because I was too high in the sky.
I floated down in front of Marcus Bertinelli's club. I went past his slumbering body, heading straight to his office and started searched for valuables. Well, cash. I didn't want jewelries or stuff that could be traced back to me. I don't fear anyone really but it'll be kind of embarrassing to have that in my record.
[A few minutes later]
I finally succeeded in breaking into the safe I found in the wall, with lasers, and grinned at the load of cash staring back at me. That's what we call reward for a job well done.
There has been a few deaths here, but none the good folks will really miss. Besides, I tried to keep trash like them alive, just because it didn't work out didn't mean I wouldn't benefit from it.
I bagged the cash and went out of the club strewn with bodies. Disappearing into the night like I was never there. A rich man.
CHAPTER FINISH
NOW LET'S ROLL CREDITS.
CREDITS: ????
WELL, been a while. I was writing this and writing the second chapter of my marvel fic. Then writing several chapters of my original story on RR, then writing another unreleased story.
Then I realized that I will get nothing done if I do those all at the same time. So I shelved this fanfic and the 'A reason to give a damn' fic. Then I was back again at it. I was editing new chapters of both fanfics at the same, and also previous chapters to remove most of the 'sound effect'... I decided to keep some. Anyway, It was a load of editing and it was too much work so I had no choice but to let my RR book rest for a while this time.
And then we are here.
CHAPTER TEN FINALLY! This is the end of the first phase of this fic. The next chapter is going to be a couple of interludes in other characters POV so we can expand the world view.
Also, I'll posting part two of A Reason To Give A Damn next. It'll come late January or early February so look forward to it.
Hope you enjoyed it till now.
See you later!
