Part 5 - Building Trust And Coming Home
For the next month or so at the hospital, she had the families of Means, LaRanche and Spears aswell few of their closest friends visiting her after she said yes or not yet to them to visit her, as she needed to re-build her trust and safety first around the ones she knew she could trust the most for now, which was Patrick Sr, Mary Ann, Russell, Pearl aswell Michael and Eddie, whom she could trust the most of the people that came to the hospital after learning what had happened to her really.
When Nakotah and his parents learned about it, they flew over immenditally to see her, and she was so happy to see them again after all these years. Nakotah also got to meet Ayla and Phoenix, her twins, and they seemed to like if not love him at first sight. Same went to his parents, and when they learned the whole story from the others, as Bella had no will to repeat the story, they were furious for her sake, that her own parents did this to her, and for what stupid reasons that they had to do this to her, that was just plain stupid and idiotic in their opinion.
Since Bella also was an adult, she could choose to do whatever she wanted next when she got out of the hospital with her twins, but she choose to stay with the Spears' but also visit the LaRanche and Means' as often she could when she was abit more mobile and able to walk and move around after giving birth and the ordeal behind her wounds that was still healing.
After what felt an eternity, a month went by in the hospital, and today was the day she would be released in the care of the Spears' parents, whom had gotten their home ready for the twins and Bella herself to stay with them, as their other children lived elsewhere from South Dakota to Montana, they still would come home as often to see her and the twins aswell their parents. And their friends would also come with when Bella said ok to let them also come by.
When they pulled up at Spears' there were people out and cheering for her to come home, and she was an emotional mess for sure in the back of their car, and cried happily to see that others believed in her, and loves her as much this family did, and was happy to see that there was one happy outcome of the arrest of Nathan ChasingHorse, that bastard.
And she didn't notice the cars out on the street and around their house was also here, maybe she thought it was the other children and friends of the children's cars, so she didn't think too much of it all, and kept going on inside of the house with holding one baby while the other one was being held by Michael, who took Phoenix so she could have Ayla in her arms. She was thankful for him to help her out that way, and also that strange pulling sensation was also gone from her since they re-met in the hospital.
Either way, soon after her things were brought into the house, she was taken to the backyard, by Michael's hand in hers, she felt trust from him to herself, and it made her feel safe around him and the families. As soon he opened the door, all she could hear was cheering and callings of her name being said, and when she came out to see who it was that was doing so, she was in tears instantly.
Michael instantly wrapped an arm around her fragile waist, and held her as she cried into his chest, holding onto his shirt, while the others were just happy to see her again, alive and as well she could be after such ordeal she been through past 9 years now.
After a little while, he looked down and said
"You ok?" Bella looked up at him, as the others could see the bond between them was still after all this time apart from each other, so strong and good between them, he dried her tears for her, as she said
"Alittle, just so happy to see you all again." At that he smiled and bent down to kiss her gently on her forehead. She just smiled while closing her eyes for the moment.
With that they joined the others, as she got hugs or kisses from those she allowed to be near her again, but also to meet her twins, whom seem to enjoy the attention despite being newborns and all, they enjoyed to be in one or another's arms, and being cooed and cuddled with while sleeping away.
She got into a seat next to Michael, Eddie and their parents now her parents, as she always love Patrick Sr and Mary Ann, for they got her for who she was or is as a person, and that made her feel safe, just like with the other parents'; Russell and Pearl aswell Nakotah's parents; Steve and Marian. They were all like family to her, and she knew there was some stuff that they had been wanting and waiting on to tell her about, but what she didn't know as of yet.
