He returned to Sunshade Farm with the needed 51 bottles of wine requested. He went outside to see a bulletproof [Stretch] decked to the nines, marked with the royal livery. Out came Lorelaan with her guards as he handed off the cases to the guards to take.
"All of them as promised." Taeko remarked.
"Thank you, Taeko. As you're awake, you're welcome to take a +1 to the event." Lorelaan said before leaving.
"So how did you get promoted?" Cassidee asked before he told her. "No fucking way. Yeah…that alone, you'll have the queen eating out of your hand. And now you're basically third in command of the country. Not bad, boss."
"Well it's six p.m…I'll be heading out. I got a job down in Portland." Taeko said.
"Hey, why not check on Kaia's cousin?" Cassidee offered.
"Later." Taeko said as Cassidee left.
"Well, I'm calling it an early night." Cassidee remarked. "Night boss."
Cassidee left in her car and he left soon after for Portland via [Fast Travel]. After watching a bit of television, he drove in his [Zentorno] straight to the mission marker right up to Laozu's mansion.
[Portland Mission - Corelli Cold Cuck]
He walked in the place as Laozu smirked confidently as June sat in a nearby chair.
"Well, well…you're here. Good, because the 'queen of Sheba' is here. She and the Corelli Donna got into an argument. So you'll be playing chaperone." Laozu said in a low tone.
"Take her out…keep her occupied. And put your dick to work…if you don't mind making a cuckold out of the Donna." June mused.
"Donna?" Taeko asked.
"Oh, right. You don't know. The Corellis are run by a woman, Valvona Corelli…and she's intersexed while being a total misandrist." June said. "She's much older than her 'trophy wife', Coco Adel. Valvona tries to act like a big tough guy, but comes off like a wannabe full of hot air. If it wasn't for her money, she wouldn't have her 'trophy wife' who she treats poorly. Let's just say Valvona got a Napoleon complex."
"She ain't exactly packing from what her old mother has been staying about her. Either way, Coco's harmless. A self-assured fashionista…who's only real vice is shopping for clothes…and coffee." Laozu said.
"Who's thirsty…" June teased as Laozu got a text. "Any updates?"
"Oh yeah, Valvona and Coco just had a fight. An ugly one." Laozu said with a smirk. "Hurry over to Marco's Bistro to pick her up."
Taeko left for his car and drove over to the place to see the woman in question. Coco was about as tall, physically appearing as a mirror to her 'show' counterpart. She had the same fair skin, and dark-brown eyes. She still had short dark brown hair retaining her wavy locks on one side of her face, dyed with a gradient that starts as dark brown and transitions to caramel. She wore a coffee colored dress with low-cut straps, black tights, and dark black, high-heeled leather calf-high boots with golden buckles. Her elven ears were pierced and her nails were painted coffee brown. She had her purse with her storming out as he lowered the window.
"Coco?" Taeko asked, getting her attention. "Laozu sent me. I'm your chaperone for the time being while Laozu and Valvona have a meeting."
She got in.
"Ok, you can't be just some mook in Laozu's group. You're…um…not Chinese. But you're lucky you're a decent looking man…get me out of here." Coco said as he drove off.
"I'm not Chinese, I'm half Japanese. And you're right, I'm not some mook in his group. Let's just say, I'm a bit of a special case." Taeko said. "Taking over after Laozu handles some final things before retiring."
"Oh fuck, he's going to kill Valvona…" Coco said.
"Problem?" Taeko asked.
"Not really…Valvona's an asshole. She took me out from being some poor waitress in the boonies, but I really just a trophy wife. Ugh, I'm not even into-" Coco said before her phone rang.
She answered to hear Valvona yelling at her asking where he was.
"I'm with the chaperone Laozu arranged…did you forget you said you were going to meet with him tonight? Hey, for all that shit about loyalty…you aren't exactly loyal yourself." Coco said before hanging up. "You know the worst part of dating a misandrist? They do all the same shitty things they claim to hate men for doing. And it's not like I could even cheat on her…when there's few men surrounded by so many options."
Taeko smirked, sliding a hand on Coco's thighs.
"And what if I wanted to…" Taeko offered.
"Got a place you can-"
Their phones buzzed.
"Damn, I…oh shit." Coco said, looking at her phone.
"What's up?" He asked, even though he knew already.
"Valvona's been killed." Coco said, worried. "She pissed off…Laozu for the last time."
"So what's the plan?" He asked her.
"For one, I need to get the hell out of Portland…and you know what…Yelenhelm in general." Coco remarked. "Hey…tell you what…help me out and I'll give you what you were looking for."
"Tempting, but I'll have to pass. Nothing against you, but with Corelli basically being dead…plans changed. I'll get you to the airport…for cash." Taeko said calmly.
"Damn…even when she's dead, she's cucking me. How's 20,000?" Coco asked as Vincenzo sighed. "I'll even throw in something that you can use to get out of Portland."
He had only to make one stop to her apartment before using the highways to get her to the airport in Burnside.
"Deal's a deal." Coco remarked. "Here's the money and this key. It's for a condo in a Newport…Valvona was trying to move operations over to Staunton secretly…guess that's not happening."
She got out of the car going into the airport terminal.
[Mission Completed! +60,000 Gold, +New Safehouse (Kasen Condo)]
Taeko drove off before getting a call from Laozu…seeming to be the final one.
"Laozu, don't worry about Coco. She's decided to fly the coop and take a flight out of the country. But how the hell did you manage to deal with Valvona so quickly?" Taeko asked.
"Funny story about that…turns out she was having an affair with a man of all things. Affair partner's wife showed up and shot her point blank." Laozu said. "When she saw we weren't going to shoot her for that…she just left. Then, I just continued the plan. So it's all dealt with and you need to find people to work your new assets. Good luck, kid."
He hung up as he got a text box.
[Portland Mission Strings complete! +New Safehouses (Salvatore's Mansion, Staunton Island Safehouse), +New Assets (Pak's Sex Club 7, Juanjin's Garage, Mama's Ristorante) Staunton Island Mission String unlocked.]
He was informed he'd have to pay for new staff and general repairs for all three. Which he did…basically costing the 50k he earned. However, there were caveats to this. Only the restaurant would supply money back by the day netting him 1,500 a night. The garage netted him a place to get full on free vehicle customization. The club would be renamed to Glamour Slam West and thus granted a permanent 25% boost to popularity, making the new minimum 25%. There was also a new feature, but the Game stated it needed to update.
"I could go see Emerald, but…honestly I'm beat." Vincenzo said before driving off for the highway to get back to Gorgeous Gale.
A text from Kyu would get his attention to see a minor new feature was added to the Bordello and that he could get an explanation from his home office or his computer. He arrived back at his GG house just to [Fast Travel] back to Sunshade Farm. He parked his car, he went in, and returned to Shadow Farm via the warp.
"There you are…"
Maru hugged him.
"Hey Maru. Elly May, let you in?" Taeko mused.
"Yeah. I just wanted to let you know that I've done some thinking. I do intend to move out, but I realized I don't really want to leave the Valley at least…fully. I do need a place for a lab." Maru said.
"Are you asking to move in with me?" Taeko asked as Maru blushing.
"Tempting, but I don't need to give my father reason to be stalking you. It's just not the right time for…me to move in. I do need my space." Maru remarked. "But I do think that Abigail is probably going to ask to move in with you."
"Yeah…that makes sense. Ironically, I would have thought Penny would have been first to ask to move in to get away from her mother. But considering her vampire powers…maybe I dodged a bullet." He admitted. "But what's your plan?"
"I wanted to ask if you could get me a warehouse. You got connections…and I wanted to see if you can get me a warehouse that I can convert into my new lab." Maru mused. "Somewhere discrete."
"Say no more." Taeko said, making a phone call to Velma. "Velma, I need to secure a warehouse for Maru…to convert into a lab. No, it's not a drug lab but I still need it discreetly. A backlot in Del Perro? How much? I'll pay for it. Ok, cool."
He hung up before texting Maru the details on it's location.
"Medium size, and I paid in full for it so the ownership is yours. Just go to headquarters and get the key." Taeko remarked.
"I can't repay you…oh who am I saying…I can with my gadgets and my love." Maru said before they shared a brief kiss. "If it's Del Perro, I'll have to get a place there. But I should go pick up that key. Maybe I can ask your assistant for help…"
She left as Taeko went straight to the kitchen to get a grape popsicle to enjoy. As he was savoring it, he heard a knock on the door. He went to answer it to see Abigail with a duffel bag.
"Hey…T, mind having overnight company?" Abigail said sweetly.
Taeko ticked his head on the side asking if everything's all right at home.
"It's just mom babying me, no big deal. I saw Maru coming from your place…you clap her cheeks because she was grinning ear to ear." Abigail teased.
"I didn't. I was actually getting her own warehouse for a lab because she wants to move out of her parent's place." Taeko remarked as Abigail giggled.
"Aw, couldn't have Maru move in with you…she'd be right within reach to empty your balls in." Abigail teased. "All without her dad interrupting."
Taeko bit his lip, picturing Maru working on an invention in just a lab coat and her underwear.
"But speaking of moving in…my parents are hassling me to get my own place. Mostly my mom, she says now that I have a job…maybe you should consider getting your own space. I think it's because of the weapons…" Abigail said. "So I was going to ask if I could maybe move in with you. I know we're not married…and…"
"To be fair, we're in a polyship and we're already intimate. Moving in is the least of our problems. Considering I'm also the mayor's golden boy, as long as the kids aren't harmed or traumatized, they won't really be concerned about you moving in with me. It's Maru and Penny, I'm concerned about. Or really Penny….and speak of her…and she shall appear." Taeko said as Penny revealed herself.
"You have a bat form?!" Abigail said as Penny returned to normal in a plume of smoke.
"Yeah, I discovered it…but I guess I couldn't hide from my lover." Penny said demurely. "And to clear the air, I did want to move in with you at one point. But my fangs came in, and I was afraid…I'd bite you in your sleep."
Taeko hugged her.
"I know you think it's not an issue, but…" Penny said, taking a whiff. "You smell of gunsmoke and perfume…"
"Long day…last thing I did was take a girl to the airport to get out of the country." Taeko said tiredly. "But about the possibility of moving in…"
"In the future, I'm not ready. But I won't stand in the way if Maru or Abigail want to take that step." Penny said. "I just wanted to check on you…good night."
Penny walked away as the Game told that he could decide on Abigail moving in with him. It did also inform him that Abigail would get a room if he accepted, and can share his bed sometimes. His VR headset would be moved to one of his other safehouses, noting that he'd find it when he was 'alone' at home. Not that Taeko was using it much.
"If you want to move in…I'd be happy to welcome you to Shadow Farm. Just don't expect me to get rid of Elly May." Taeko mused. "I got a room where you can put stuff to decorate yourself."
He showed her to it. The Game basically said that Abigail would count as extra help on the farm and her living here would raise her maximum heart rating from 10 to 14. New heart events were in the cards for the future as Taeko saw it as a challenge.
"Cozy, but I've been sharing your bed tonight." Abigail said with a purr. "My sensei needs a load off. I'll get my things…"
She sauntered off as Taeko was thinking of the possibilities. However, he went off to go help and give her the house key.
"Here, your key." Taeko said, giving it to her as they got in Abigail's car. "Figured I'd help you pack."
Abigail let him come…both did not think it was going to be awkward. They were wrong given Caroline chose the pettiest time to make it embarrassing.
"So you're moving in…you're not pregnant, are you?" Caroline said. "Oh who am I kidding…with you living with your boyfriend, you'll get knocked up soon enough."
Abigail cheeked burned as she pleaded for something…anything to save her from the boredom. Then Myth appeared, teleporting right into the house saying he had important news. Abigail groaned.
"What's so important…"
"I realized something was off about Abigail…I didn't piece it together until now. Years ago, I was working on an experiment about spreading my magical energy. I assumed it was a failure, but I realize I did succeed…it altered Abigail's bloodline…with my essence." Myth said shaken.
"Essentially making her Abigail's 'father'." Pierre said horrified before breathing out in relief. "Well at least my wife didn't cheat but how….oh crap."
"I remember walking through the woods and passing by the tower…there was a wave of energy…but I thought nothing of it and hurried back home." Caroline said. "Oh dear Yoba, I can't…"
"So my DNA would say you're the dad or…"
"Considering magic, doubtful…" Taeko said awkwardly. "But does this change anything?"
"No, you're still my kid through and through." Pierre said. "But your 'uncle' owes me a lot of favors…"
Pierre had a bit of a dark smirk.
"How about I make something to up your wife's fertility and your virility so you can have a second child? Throw in something to expand those life spans a bit?" Myth said awkwardly.
Given that while Taeko was his friend, Myth that Taeko would side with his girlfriend's family. Plus, he felt guilty as though he wanted a child to carry his genes…he didn't want to cause it like this. Pierre and Caroline thought about it and agreed to the offer.
"Is this about the Vampire Killer?" Abigail asked.
"No, I think Penny is shaping to earn it. She has a right to wield it…or at least see if she can." Pierre said before hugging Abigail. "I never held it against you that you couldn't wield it. You'll have to make your own path."
"Thanks, dad." Abigail remarked.
With Abigail's stuff packed, Abigail and Taeko returned home to put them in Abigail's new room which was almost looking like a trophy room and a room for Abigail's weaponry. David Junior's hamster cage was moved in there as well.
"So I'm finally in…but my mood's kinda…"
"It's cool. You should get some sleep…and I'm not really in the mood for it either." Taeko remarked. "So if we're sharing my bed well…we can cuddle. I just want to check on something at one of my businesses."
Taeko left. With a bit of [Fast Travel], he was at Stardew Galaxia and went straight to his office to get that note.
"Ok, so the archive I can buy from is being reorganized." Taeko mused. "And now girls working in the Glamour Slam can count as bordello profits…but only a quarter of what would be made if it was in the bordello. Fair enough.."
Rogue, La Brava, Chel, and Helen were already on bordello duty as usual. He set Yang and Killer Frost to join them as well. As for the remaining six, she'd set them to work the Glamour Slam tonight before returning home. Abigail was already in bed as he changed into sleepwear…sliding into bed with her. He laid there looking up at the ceiling in thought as Abigail turned, holding him. His phone buzzed with a text from Maru.
[Text Message from Maru]
[I know you were ok with me moving in, but I couldn't do that as much as I wanted to. Not until my 18th birthday, and enough time has passed. Hope your bed got room for more. Sleep well. Love you.]
He texted her back before heading off to sleep.

But now we end the week to get into the first weekend.)
