Manenetchi: Well...they should be about the same size of Lovelin, wear some sort of hat on their head, have catlike ears and a guitar with them...or violin?

Civilian: No but I do know of someone claimed to be the daughter of our queen…

Civilian: *Points at castle in the distance* Our queen is somewhere within that castle, with a child that she named "Melodytchi" because of her passion with music.
Lovelitchi: *Slowly walking away* But…this doesn't have anything to do with what I'm asking…
Civilian: *Not hearing her* Rumors have stated that said daughter is also one of 2 chosen heroes of this planet!
Lovelitchi: *Turns around surprised* S-say what?
Civilian: Yeah! And the other is none other than Superstar Lovelin herself!

Chamametchi: I was hoping big brother would be calling, but anyone that's one of his friends are alright too! Speaking of which, I've heard that you are currently on an adventure with him! How's he holding up? *Phone makes sound implying Lovelitchi hung up* Hello?
Lovelitchi: (I really wish my friends had their own cellphones…) *Sees Manenetchi and runs over to her* Manenetchi!

Lovelitchi: I've got information on where the next hero is! The hero's name is "Melodytchi", and should be somewhere in that castle over there!
Manenetchi: But…why there?
Lovelitchi: She's apparently the daughter of a queen!…I think…
Manenetchi: Really?
Lovelitchi: I can't say for sure since it wasn't anything more than a rumor, but I believe that is where we should start our search.
Manenetchi: You might be right…but what about our friends? Shouldn't we wait for them?
Lovelitchi: Yeah…that's why I haven't gone to the castle yet…

Lovelitchi: Look! Mametchi!
Mametchi: Sorry…I couldn't find any answers…
Lovelitchi: Don't worry—I did! The second hero should be in that castle nearby! The thing is, we just need to regroup before we head on over…

Lovelitchi: The second hero! You'll see what we mean when we get there, come on! *Runs off to the castle with most of the others*
Memetchi: Well…we've searched everywhere but that place…so by all means, let's go! *Grabs Kuchipatchi's hand and follows them while he briefly yelps*
At the Melody Castle…
Lovelitchi: But look! The book clearly states that we need her for the sake of the world!
Guard: Keep pilling on that baloney all you want—you're still not going anywhere beyond this point.
Lovelitchi: But…but I'm one of the chosen ones! (And I hate it…)
Guard: If you were a chosen one, you'd be wearing Kizuna clothing. Yet, when I look at your apparel, I do not see anything remotely close to that of the Kizuna. Also, Melodytchi is not a chosen one. I know the queen's daughter is cute, but I'd be rich if had a buck for every time I heard that as an excuse to see her. *Points spear at the group* Now, leave. Or else.
Group: A-alright! W-we're sorry! *Runs away behind a wall*
Lovelitchi: We've got to do something!
Memetchi: Like what?…oh! I got it! Remember the Kaizoku Ruins and how you were able to fight off a giant monster? I bet you could take out that guard, too!
Lovelitchi: No! I'm NOT a skilled fighter—that was just luck. Also, assault on government forces is not only dangerous, but also illegal.
Memetchi: ANY form of violence is illegal.
Lovelitchi: Then why do you want me to attack someone?
Memetchi: U-uh…
Mametchi: Look, if we want to find this Melodytchi, we need to get creative. We can't just go up and kill someone and expect to get off scot-free for it—this isn't a video game! Also, even if it were legal, I really don't want to resort to violence in ANY capacity unless absolutely necessary, and this movement is not a situation where it's required!
Lovelitchi: Thanks, Mametchi…
Manenetchi: My friends are right—murder is crossing the line.

*The group notices that Kuchipatchi never moved from the entrance*

Kuchipatchi: *Megaton punches guard out of panic before the guard disappears into the horizon with a twinkle* I-I'm sorry I got scared-datchi!
Mametchi: (That could've gone better, but…)…please don't worry about it. I don't like the outcome either but there's nothing we can do about it now that it's already happened…let's just find Melodytchi before someone finds us here! *Enters building*
Kuchipatchi: …ok-datchi…(I hope that guy's ok-datchi…) *Follows before the camera pans to show the Spacy brothers hiding in a bush*
Spacytchi: "Chosen heroes"…hmm…
Akaspetchi: What's your plan?
Spacytchi: Unfortunately, none of us really are "chosen" to be heroes…but I heard that those kinds of people tend to get good reception from the public!
Akaspetchi: So basically, our plan is to become heroes?
Spacytchi: Yes!

Spacytchi: Maybe, but hear me out—no one's going to suspect us if we have good publicity. All we need to do is perform one act of good and that's all people will remember! Then, with our labels of heroics, people will bend to our will and this planet will be OURS!

*As Memetchi leads the group, they come across various ventilation networks and end up picking seemingly random directions before eventually hitting a dead end*

*Memetchi continues leading the group in the exact same way as before and continues hitting dead end after dead end, eventually reaching the same spot they started at*
Memetchi: Wait…I've definitely seen that scratch on that particular portion of the wall before…that means we've been here already and that means we're going in circles and that means we're LOST! *Continues panicking*
Mametchi: C-calm down! W-we can get out of this! We just need to remember which directions we go before making any decisions…!
Memetchi: If my curl can't help us, then WHAT'RE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?!
Guard: Hey, did you say something?

Guard: Yeah, she's the name of our queen.
Other guard: Hm? I didn't ask anything about what the queen's name was!

Lovelitchi: But I heard guards nearby…what do we do?
Mametchi: Hmm…got it! *Grabs random paperclip from the ground and is ready to throw it*

Manenetchi: Yeah…I hate to admit this, but we'll need to think of something else.
Mametchi: (Another horrible idea…)

Mametchi: Now's our chance! Blend in!
*The group heads out and dance while the guards are too distracted to notice Mametchi steal one of their keys and use it to unlock the door to Joou Sama's place in the process*
Mametchi: *Quickly boards the door shut after everyone enters*…that…that actually worked?!
Lovelitchi: I just went with whatever people loved most…I guess?
Guards: Freeze! *Hold spears up to the group*
Guard A: You are trespassing on Joou Sama's property.
Guard B: Leave at once if you want to live.
Guard C: You have 5 seconds to get the heck out of here.
Guard D: Can I have a raise?
Joou Sama: Stop!
*Everyone turns around and notices the queen Joou Sama*
Guard A: Your highness…but…don't you want us to help remove trespassers?
Guard B: My comrade's right—don't you?
Guard C: Isn't keeping intruders out part of the job, your highness?

Other guards: NO!

Joou Sama: This is the Master Bedroom! Everyone from my friends and even myself need some beauty rest every once in a while, and—oh! Hello, Melodytchi!
*A young girl around the same size and age as the Tama-Friend group is shown jumping around on a very large bed*

Joou Sama: *Catches and lifts Melodytchi on her shoulders next to Lovelitchi* We're just going on a quick tour of the castle first.

Joou Sama: And finally we have my Grand Piano! This is normally a restricted area and I keep the piano locked away, but I love to play it during festivals or in my free time! I also on rare occasions let Melodytchi and my fellow friends try it out as long as I'm in the room with them!

Melodytchi: A…arigato…I…well…didn't always live here in this castle…*Flashback of her as a preschooler with her parents play in a slideshow style*…back then…life was different…whenever one of us were bored we would just find one another and the day would quickly disappear. *Some clips showing Melodytchi being involved in various activities such as being tossed up and down in a playful manner or reading stories are displayed*…even in moments where one of us were fed up with the other, tensions would never last more than a few seconds…*More brief clips showing Melodytchi having a tantrum or being scolded are briefly played but with the family quickly calming down and hugging afterwards*…but…one day when a storm came by our electricity was knocked out…and I was afraid of bedtime monsters at the time and needed a light to sleep…and…*Sniff*…t-that's when I did something that…that still haunts me to this day…I grabbed one of the…*Sniff*…the candles from the kitchen and…*Sniff*…and put it in my bedroom…*Brief clips show her doing so*…a-after getting ready for bed, I got myself tucked in like I usually do and went to sleep…*Clips show Melodytchi getting ready for bed and tucking herself in before accidentally knocking the lit candle to the ground*…but…*Sniff*…but I quickly forgot all about the candle…a-and—*Sniff*…only the imagination is needed to guess what happened next…*The flame on the candle begins to spread before the scene changes to show Melodytchi being frightened and forced awake by a smoke alarm*
Past Melodytchi: MOMMY! *Frantically runs around the room searching for an exit but is unable to and quickly gets trapped*
Melopapatchi: Honey, the smoke alarm's going off again. What's going on?
Melomamatchi: No, I'm not cooking anything!
Melopapatchi: Hmm…well those things are old and might be having some technical difficulties. I'm sure it's fine.
Past Melodytchi: HELP!
Parents: Wha—?!
Past Melodytchi: SOMEONE! PLEASE! This orange stuff is coming closer and it's destroying everything! *Coughs as the smoke gets heavier while inching closer and closer to the wall*
*Parents are running upstairs following the screams before suddenly noticing the smoke coming from the door*
Melopapatchi: *Puts his hand on the doorknob before immediately pulling it away* Ah! It's hot!

Past Melodytchi: *Tries to yell to attract attention but is suffocating due to the smoke rendering her unable to do so*
Melopapatchi: Just…stay low! *Dives in the flames desperately searching for Melodytchi before eventually finding her but unconscious* You're—*Cough*…you're gonna be okay!
*The floor suddenly begins crumbling down with both Melopapatchi and her daughter falling before Melomamatchi lunges forward and grabs her husband's arm in a desperate attempt to save them*
Melomamatchi: No! *Briefly yanks and struggles* Can't you lose a few pounds?!
Melopapatchi: What?
*The plank Melomamatchi is on suddenly crumbles down sending all 3 to come crashing to the first floor where the rest of the house begins to catch fire and collapse as well*
Melomamatchi: *Picks up Melodytchi while also helping Melopapatchi to his feet* Come on! We gotta get out of here!
*Both parents frantically search for an exit but are unable to do so due to the collapsing house structure and flames everywhere while Melomamatchi is using her body as a shield to protect Melodytchi, they eventually find a way out but quickly realize that they are too far away to make it in time before the house completely falls apart and hurl Melodytchi out through in the nick of time*
Past Melodytchi: *Wakes up in pain and still briefly choking before noticing that her home in now in ruins and her parents aren't with her* M-mommy? D-daddy? *Runs over to the wreckage and frantically searches for her parents while screaming their names, eventually discovering their bodies and pulling them out while trying to wake them up and becoming increasingly more frightened and desperate upon noticing it not working before finally breaking into tears*
*The scene transitions to the present where Melodytchi is crying into Lovelitchi in the same way as shown in the flashback*
Lovelitchi: I…I had no idea…
Melodychi: And-and it's…*Uncontrollably sobbing*…all my fault!
*Everyone is staring at Melodytchi giving looks implying concern and pity*

And…t-that thing's been the only reason I've even been able to move past denial…the violin is surprisingly good at distracting me from my PTSD, and so I rely heavily on it daily…I also can't watch movies or anything of the sort that shows or even implies the deaths of family members…

Everything in that book is so cryptic yet somehow feels as if it's foreshadowing events that will cause our lives to take a complete 180 out of left field!

Lovelitchi: Someone also referred to us as one of those titles a few days ago—Kizuna Heroes! And a guard at the entrance of your castle claimed that I don't have the appropriate equipment for the duties of a chosen one…
Joou Sama: !
Lovelitchi: Huh?
Joou Sama: It…it makes sense now!
Lovelitchi: What do you mean?
Joou Sama: The Kizuna Heroes…those folk are none other than you and your friends!
Lovelitchi: I get the hero part but…what's "Kizuna"?
Joou Sama: All of this is essentially related to another legend about these things called Tama Hearts.
Lovelitchi: Ok, but…what are "Tama Hearts"?
Joou Sama: They are mystical objects formed by bonds between friends. However, these objects are also invisible for most people and cannot be spotted by the naked eye. Every day hundreds of these objects are formed by the bonds of people and their friends around you. However, the Tamagotchi Planet depends on these hearts to stay alive, and therefore someone has to protect them. That's how the Kizuna was born—a special race of Tamagotchi guardians chosen by the gods to help collect and preserve the Tama Hearts for eternity. They also serve the purpose of locking the most important of all Tama Hearts inside murals called Kizuna Plates, the hearts inside eventually gaining the nickname of Kizuna Hearts. However…the Kizuna Plates that were once held at their shrine have gone missing, and the one who took them appears to be an outside force if the Kizuna were unable to stop it. Without them, the entire planet and its inhabitants will slowly begin to morph into lifeless eggs devoid of personality.
Everyone: What?!
Lovelitchi: But…what do we do…?!
Joou Sama: I'm sure that the Kizuna have a backup plan for this, but if they called upon heroes that aren't officially part of their race it must be serious. Unfortunately, in your current apparel, you cannot see or even grab Tama Hearts…unless…

Joou Sama: *Pulls out map* There is clothing hidden around the world in various temples that, if worn altogether, should allow the user to see and collect Tama Hearts after obtaining a final item.
Lovelitchi: What's that final item?
Joou Sama: I don't know, but I do believe that I have an ingredient to it. *Pulls out heart-shaped music makers and gives them to Lovelitchi and Melodytchi* These are called Melody Charms. They are said to be important for any device made for catching Tama Hearts. Also, take this map with you. It will help with pinpointing the locations of each temple. *Gives group the map*…I wish all of you good luck…and please come back safely.

Violetchi: I also read something online about how these temples called "Kizuna Trials", and how these figures called "Chosen Ones" would eventually arrive there, like the one we're currently at just now! There's also rumors stating that special articles of clothing are also hidden in these places to allow the user to find these things called "Tama Hearts"! I don't know what those are though…by the way, you don't have to do all the work of those Chosen Ones!
Lovelitchi: Actually…I may just so happen to be one of them…

I've been making weapons for everyone so we can fend off those monsters more easily! Even if I hate using them…

Mametchi: *Shoots a charged plasma attack at Lovelitchi's shield—which the shield then suddenly redirects said plasma into a massive pink laser at the mice, killing a large portion of them and causing the rest to run away*
Lovelitchi: WAH!…wh-what just happened?! What IS this thing?!
Mametchi: Oh, that's a shield that can turn stronger attacks into like that plasma shot into its own on a thousandfold! I thought we could use something that allows us to implement some strategy and catch attackers off guard.

Mysterious Voice: …sounds a little naive but it may just be the best of options for your type…*Random area in the room opens up into a hallway* Now for the next course…
*The Kizuna Heroes follow although one almost falls off before camera pans out to reveal a video game-like obstacle course featuring platforms designed in a similar fashion to swiss cheese along with metal jaws at the bottom*
Kuchipatchi: FOOD-DATCHI?! HOW DID THEY KNOW I NEEDED THAT? BON APPETIT—*Attempts to eat one of the platforms but is stopped*
Mametchi: Don't eat that! I know it's tempting but we need to utilize those to get across!
Kuchipatchi: Where-datchi?
Mametchi: Over there! *Points at a far distance and the camera zooms in to display it more clearly*
Melodytchi: Um…I know I'm one of the chosen ones but…is it okay to turn back now?
Mametchi: Look, I'll go first. Just…try and follow my lead, ok?
*The Kizuna Heroes nod a yes but are still visibly nervous*
Mametchi: Oh boy…*Stares at the platform for a while until finally jumping with his eyes closed and almost slipping off the platform while briefly screaming as the Kizuna Heroes get nervous* O…ok! This is fine! I-it's fine, guys! Just…a little slippery…*Takes several deep breaths before finally jumping to another platform, this time almost slipping through one of the holes and taking several more deep breaths*
Lovelitchi: I can't look! *Shields her eyes*
Memetchi: Please don't die please don't die…!
Mametchi: *Stares ahead agin for a while before finally rushing in and getting across the rest of the platforms all at once as the Kizuna Heroes are relieved to see Mametchi alive and resting afterwards* Phew…(Don't know how I did that but I'm alive…)…so…who wants to go next?
*No one raises their hand or even moves an inch*
Kuchipatchi: Uh…*Takes off his spiked gloves and puts his feet in them before jumping and doesn't slip upon landing*…does this work-datchi?
Mametchi: Ah! Kuchipatchi, you're a genius!

Lovelitchi: No, I'll go for you instead! *Melodytchi then passes her the gloves* Jumping's gonna be tricky if there's more than 2 people on the same platform, so please…be careful how you pass the gloves!
*A short montage of each character passing the gloves to each other and jumping across plays—though Melodytchi is the last to go and forgets to put on the gloves before the second to last jump resulting in her falling through one of the holes*

Lovelitchi: NO! *Instinctively dives down to save her*
Violetchi: Stop! *Does the same along with everyone else until only Kuchipatchi and Mametchi remain on the platform*
Kuchipatchi: *Also jumps down to attempt to save them but it grabbed by Mametchi resulting in his body stretching*
Mametchi: *Grunt* Please…! No! *Slowly slipping off due to both gravity and the fact that the platform is spinning*
Melodytchi: *Panicking before eventually looking at her friends and getting an idea—she then jams the spiked gloves into the roof of the platform just as Mametchi slips off and is now dangling inches away from the jaws—though it's very clear that the gloves are slowly slipping out*
Mametchi: *Starts panicking after noticing just how close to the jaws he is before everyone else begins panicking as well*
Hapihapitchi: *Flying in the next room* Oops…Hapihapitchi got a bit carried away with the cat-awo…
Kizuna Heroes: HELP!

Violetchi: Somebody!
Hapihapitchi: (Shoot…what to do what to do-awo…) *Looking back and forth at both the jaws and her friends*

Melodytchi: C-can't…h-hold on much longer!
Mametchi: *As the jaws are now less than 2 centimeters away and is trying to sway his body upward* Hurry!
Hapihapitchi: *Finally knocks the pot right below the area the Kizuna heroes are dangling right after Melodytchi finally loses grip on the platform*
*The Kizuna Heroes then scream and cower until realizing that they are now in the pot that Hapihapitchi used to jam the system*
Mametchi: Wha…? *Notices that the machine is still trying to snap but is unable to before finally short circuiting and shutting down* YES! YES! WE'RE ALIVE! *Dances with friends*
Memetchi: *As everyone is celebrating* Really?! *Notices Hapihapitchi flying over and hugs her* OH THANK YOU SO MUCH!

*The refrigerator is now much closer and is ready to crush them before Mametchi finally grabs Hapihapitchi and dives out of the way while purposefully hitting both Melodytchi and Lovelitchi along the way, the shockwave from the refrigerator then knocking them each into the air*

Your lungs have been badly damaged from a case of near-drowning and still require time to heal—symptoms can actually surface hours after the actual incident occurred even if you are theoretically fine and can live without life support.

Nurse: Sometimes patients who go through this have to have their lungs surgically replaced—or even are unable to survive regardless of what treatment they are given. You and the girls next to you are very lucky to pose no permanent damage, but you're gonna have to take it easy here until then.

*The Kizuna Heroes hear a scream from a distance before seeing a pink alien running through followed by a larger blue one*
Uwasatchi: Huh?! Could those possibly be the rumored figures-dawasa?!
Mametchi: I don't know but I want to see what's going on! *Chases after them*
Kizuna Heroes: O-ok! *Follow but Memetchi accidentally drops Kuchipatchi*
Kuchipatchi: *Wakes up*…huh? *Realizes that everyone's gone before catching a glimpse of one of his friends* AHH! WAIT UP-DATCHI! *Runs after them*
*As the Kizuna Heroes are chasing the blue alien, they are forced to quickly dodge incoming terrain while occasionally tripping on or getting grazed by obstacles*
Mametchi: Wait! We just want to talk! What's going on?
*The blue alien quickly turns around and slices off nearby tree branches with a katana to create a blockage before resuming his pursuit, which the Kizuna Heroes crash into and tumble down a slope until finally reaching the end of it*
Mametchi: *Holding forehead in pain* Ow ow ow…
Memetchi: Hair…ruined…again…
Uwasatchi: I just lost my notepad-dawasa…
Melodytchi: Twinkle, twinkle little stars…
Kuchipatchi: *Panting and dragging himself across the floor*…wh…where are we…going…again…datchi…?
Mametchi: We…we got a bit sidetracked…

Watawatatchi: *As Uwasatchi is panicking in the background* U-uh…maybe let's…uh…n-not jump to conclusions? We…we don't know if it uh…wants to kill us…
Mysterious Voice: *More unintelligible creepy noises as the face slowly opens up revealing a vortex that sucks the Kizuna Heroes in*
Watawatatchi: *While running* Ok never mind it DOES want to kill us!
*The Kizuna Heroes desperately try to escape but quickly get sucked in before the machine closes as Nuritchi skips by and briefly checks out the shrine unaware of what it did a few seconds ago, the machine then sucks her up too though she jumps straight inside the vortex*
