Currently in the Land of Iron a meeting of grand importance was being conducted. In the room, sat the most powerful men in their respective villages. Flanked by their guards who were undoubtedly powerful as well. At the head of the table was a man with long grey hair, and he wore a purple robe.
He stood up as everyone turned to him. "Greetings, I am Mifune, and I would like to thank you all for attending on such short notice. As all of you know, there was a request that the 5 Kage meet to discuss important matters. Such a thing hasn't happened since the first generation of Kage. I will allow each one of you to speak but please remain respectful and mindful of each other.
We do not want an incident here. Now let's start with the man who requested the meeting. Tsuchikage-sama." Everyone turned to the man he called. Said man was easily the shortest out of everyone in attendance. He had tan skin, white long hair and a big nose. Flanked behind him was a rather large man with tan skin.
He had short brown hair. And next to him was another man. Equally as large as the last but his hair was long and black. "I will not beat around the bush here….."
Currently Minato was in the Hokage office going over meaningless documents. Well his shadow clone was, as he himself studied fuinjutsu. He was practically a master at it. Surpassing everyone but his girlfriend in the art. Thinking of his girlfriend he smiled. She was arguably the strongest kunoichi in the world, competing with Tsunade of the Sannin of course. She was beautiful.
The long red hair and those purple eyes. He just sighed with content. 'Just what did he do to get so lucky?'he thought cheekily. "Uh Minato, I hope you're not fantasizing about Kushina while you're tasked with protecting the village"spoke an amused voice. He jumped slightly and gave a small glare at the chuckling sliver haired man.
"I see you haven't forgotten about me after all" said Minato. Naruto just shrugged. "I am currently off mission duty for a few days. Kakashi told me you wanted to speak me" he replied. "I did. How you were doing. It's been a few months since we've last spoken." "Mah, mah, you know anbu life is pretty much all I do nowadays" Naruto said nonchalantly.
Minato sighed. "You've been in Anbu for 5 years and a captain for 4 of those. Don't you think it's time for a change?"he asked. Naruto just raised an eyebrow at the man. "I don't want to be a jonnin sensei" he replied. "I wasn't asking you to be. My clone has the office covered, so how about we spar.
Surely your skills haven't dulled since our last" challenged the smirking blonde. Naruto chuckled. "If you wanted to get your ass kicked, that's all you had to say." Minato said nothing as he flashed away. "Damn that hiraishin" grumbled Naruto. As he too flashed away.
"KONOHA HAS GROWN FAR TOO POWERFUL!" yelled the angry Tsuchikage. "Onoiki, I fail to see the problem. All of our shinobi are home grown. Isn't that the goal of each hidden village?"asked Hiruzen. "While I do agree with Onoiki, Konoha is turning the power scale, it is unnecessary to make such a big deal out of it considering Hiruzen is a pacifist"spoke the Kazekage.
He had spiky black fair and pale skin. Hiruzen narrowed his eyes at the man. This was his first time speaking since the meeting started. "I for one don't care about your little problems with Konoha Onoiki. Kumo for one is the strongest and produces the best shinobi.
We also have 2 perfect jinchuriki spoke the Raikage. Said man had dark skin with long blonde hair. He was extremely muscular and had a tatto on his shoulder. "Mustn't you forget A, that Iwa also has perfect jinchuriki"spoke the Mizukage.
He had tan skin and long black hair. "I didn't know that the Tsuchikage had people speak for him" replied A. At this the guards behind the Mizukage narrowed their eyes at A. "This meeting is pointless. If we're here to just discuss who is more powerful than who, then I shall take my leave"spoke Hiruzen.
Just as he stood up, the Mizukage went through hand signs and spewed a giant water dragon towards the Hokage. Seeing this, Jiraiya and Orochimaru went through the same hand signs and spewed out 2 large fireballs. As the attacks collided, smoke filled the room and everyone was tense.
Nobody moved a muscle until the smoke cleared. When it dispersed, all Kage were standing with their respective guards. "Such an act will not go unpunished Mizukage. Unless you're willing to compensate, there will be hell to pay"spoke an angry Hiruzen. The Mizukage simply chuckled. "You old fool.
Konoha is too powerful and must be brought down. You seen what happened to Uzu, so I suggest that if you don't want to be destroyed, you give us something in return"spoke Anoiki. The Hokage laughed. "You senile old man. I made it very clear that I wanted peace.
But I guess that wish will have to wait for another time. Kiri and Iwa just signed their death warrant. I hear by declare the Third Great Shinobi War!"
Minato could be seen laying on the ground panting as Naruto sat next to him against a tree. "I don't see how you're still stronger than me" said a tired Minato. Naruto just chuckled. "The man who taught you, taught me first. It's only natural that I know your every move"he said. Minato just rolled his eyes as he tried to get up.
Just then Kushina appeared. "Oh there you two idiots are. I was looking everywhere for you!"she pointed at Minato. Naruto heat sweat dropped. "Kushina, you're one of the best sensory ninja in the village, you could've just sensed his chakra signature" said Naruto.
She bonked him on the head as he fell to the ground. "Shut it Naruto. Don't make me tell Tsunade that you've been reading those perverted books"she said with a smirk. Naruto paled at that. "L-listen Kushina, there's no need to go and make outlandish decisions" he said fearfully. Minato laughed at his friend but yelped when Kushina grabbed him by the ear and dragged him away.
That's when a plant like figure chose to rise from the ground. "Hello Naruto"
4 months later
An explosion rang out in a cave. "KAKASHI!"yelled Obito. He pushed the silver haired kid out of the way, as a giant boulder crushed him. There was pure silence. Rin and Kakashi stood frozen and the turn of events. "OBITO!"screamed Rin. She rushed to his side and tried to move the boulder.
"Don't just sit there. Help me get this thing off of him Kakashi!"she cried. "T-there's no use. My body is crushed"spoke Obito weakly. "Don't say such things. Remember what you told me? Never leave a comrade behind. I won't leave you!"said Kakashi.
Obito just gave a pain filled chuckle. "I can already feel myself slipping away. I know we never got along but I always considered you my best friend. And I never got you a gift for making chunnin."he said with a smile. "Take my eye as a gift from me to you"he said.
Kakashi said nothing as tears fell from his lone working eye. "Obito we can get help"said Rin. "Rin please, I don't like seeing you cry. In the end I wasn't able to become Hokage but I did keep my promise in protecting you. It looks like I'll be the one watching over you now" he said with a chuckle. She tried to say something but her tears wouldn't let her.
Kakashi take out my eye and have Rin implant it into you. You're gonna need it if you want to make it out of here." Kakashi nodded solemnly and minutes later he had the sharingan implanted. Just as they looked back at Obito, the cave started to cave in and Kakashi grabbed Rin and they jumped out.
They looked at the caved in spot that their teammates corpse lay. Kakashi pocketed Obito's blue goggles and as he muttered to himself. 'I'll never forget you, your sacrifice will not go in vain Obito'
In the Land of Water Naruto was a man on a mission. The white anbu mask he once dawned was now gone. He personally requested that he go into battle alone. He was looking for swordsmen, 7 of them to be in fact. He then came to a stop as someone appeared in front of him.
"Ho, ho long time no see blondie"he said sarcastically. It was the woman he faced all those years ago. He could never forget her chakra. "Naruto Hatake, our villages are not actively fighting against one another.
I have a simple mission given to be given by the Kazekage, if you stay out of my way, we won't have any problems"she said. "Last time I checked, I kicked your ass, so if anything you listen to me"he said arrogantly.
She narrowed her eyes at the man. "I am in no mood for games Hatake. We are at war. I will complete my mission with you in my way or not"she said as she grabbed her fan.
"Easy, easy I'm just joking. Gosh your just as serious as you were all those years ago"he said. "Just stay out of each others way and we'll be fine" she said. They then dashed towards their destination. He then turned to her.
"Not that I mind or anything but you know my name which isn't surprising but I don't know yours, nor do I know what you look like"he said.
She merely turned her eyes toward him. "Temari Sabaku No." He just smirked. Things were certainly going to be interesting.
