"sure I was mad, sometimes I still am but my brother was quick to point out that you treated Andy a million times better than I ever did, that I had no right to treat her the way I did and that I will never get everything I want, at the time I thought Andy and I were destined to be married by now, yes really, it took me a while to realize you were saving Andy from me rather than stealing her from me" says Cat as Andrea walks over

"you don't understand, I need the edibles, my doctor won't prescribe them, I didn't want to pay a dealer directly because I'd be expelled from the community, I'm a stats girl, I know I'm losing, it's on purpose" says Andrea as she winces in pain
"you could have asked me, I'd have gotten you the money or the edibles, you threatened to leave Sabrína, that's not an acceptable response to stress or pain, my family owns and operates an edible store near here, they're even registered with the state, they don't charge a lot either, I was there this morning, it's cheaper here than in LA and the store I go to in LA is twenty dollars for a month's worth, it's like fifteen dollars here" says Cat
"do they sell edibles for pain, my backs only gotten worse since I last saw you, stupid elhers Danlos syndrome, I run a soup kitchen here, I don't charge much, it's a pretty poor community, the surrounding cities don't really acknowledge us aside from the occasional visitor for the nudist beach" says Andrea
"well if Sabrína can make these two dresses for my Christmas day live stream I'll be taking her on as my personal seamstress, I've been trying to make them myself since July, there's something like a hundred steps and the seams never seem to line up properly no matter what I do, also the store has an EDS specific line, they can ship anything to half the country, anywhere if people are willing to pay for shipping" says Cat pulling out the bags with the dress patterns
"wow, I created this pattern a long time ago, you actually enjoy my designs, how much would I get paid" says Sabrína
"for making these dresses, ten grand up front, and up to fifteen grand after they're done depending on what flair you add to it to make it custom for Tori and I, I should say up front that there will be no conditions on how you use the money, you could spread it around the community if you want and yes, I quite like your designs, they're some of the most intricate designs I've ever seen yet they remain short girl friendly, very few designers cater to girls as short as me, I haven't grown in at least four years, probably because of how much coffee I drink" says Cat
"yeah you always loved your coffee, even when we were little, your mom couldn't keep it away from you no matter how hard she tried, as I created these designs it won't take me long to make them up or add any flair to them, I could even alter them, that is if you're ok to stay here a week, it really won't take long at all" says Sabrína
"she's on doctors orders to limit her standing time, our boyfriend tried to lift her during sexy time and as she'd gained a few pounds, she was heavier than he expected and her thighs tore a bit, the doctor protested her even getting on a plane, she won't allow Cat to get right back on one today, we're remote learning thanks to my icy driveway fall causing memory issues, though I can at least follow conversations and remember what was said an hour later now, we'll probably spend some time here, maybe visit her cousins or something as well but we'll be around but Andrea, you have to promise to stop making bad bets, otherwise Sabrína will control the money, do you understand Andi" says Tori being fairly firm with her cousin

"oh he'll be negotiating with me trust me, edibles are one of two options open to you because of your allergies to effective pain meds, everyone who knows you knows about your allergies to the big pain meds and that the lesser pain meds don't touch it" says Cat as she dials the number
"hello, who is this" asks Doctor Rick Milton
"hello Doctor Milton, I see you get around, you do know that denying an EDS patient pain meds or edibles is a violation of your board of doctors agreement to avoid a prison sentence right" says Cat as Doctor Milton audibly gulps
"hello Cat, I see you're still bitter about Angelina's death, she showed no signs of mental distress before the accident, the board found no evidence I could have known she'd kill herself, Andrea has no health insurance, I can't prescribe edibles without insurance, it's a doctors rule in the Clinic I'm in, it's not about not prescribing her pain meds for the hell of it, the doctors office has an issue with drug abusers, they think insurance provides them a way to shift accountability off of us doctors if a patient abuses the medication we prescribe, I flout that rule and I could lose my job entirely, my hands are tied Catarina" says Doctor Milton
"so if I got her on insurance, you'd write her that prescription" asks Cat
"yes, now if you don't mind, I have a patient waiting for me" says Doctor Milton
"I'm counting on you to keep your word Doc, not that it means much to me anymore" says Cat as she hangs up
"my sister died, when, I knew her situation was bad, excruciating back pain but I didn't know she died, mom and dad don't talk to me anymore, even though I make an effort" says Andrea in shock
"a few years ago, she passed away suddenly, she went in to the hospital with chest pains and never left, my parents paid for the funeral, your parents didn't say anything because they didn't believe the doctor when he said they couldn't do anything, that she'd waited too long after the heart attack before coming to the hospital, they think the doctor assisted in her suicide or that she's not actually dead" says Cat
"I knew they were somewhat delusional but I didn't think it was that bad" says Andrea, suddenly lowering her head
"you seem suddenly ten times sadder Cuz" says Tori, worried about her cousin
"we were supposed to take Angelina in next week, their parents health insurance was set to expire and they were switching to a cheaper plan but it wouldn't cover Angelina's meds so Andi and I had agreed to take her in so long as they'd set her up with an insurance plan that we could join, we never knew she'd passed away, we'd gone out and bought new sheets and pillows for her, we'd just finished turning the old office into her bedroom" says Sabrína
"that would explain the tension between you guys, you were suddenly spending more than you could bring in, the thing is, I'm not entirely sure she's actually dead" says Cat
"but you sounded so convinced that she was" says Andrea, suddenly intrigued by Cat's disbelief in the fact that Angelina is dead
"I've actually spoken to her, here in New York, she's hiding from your parents" says Tori
"why, why would she not tell me" asks Andrea
"she's afraid that when you learn she's the reason you were swiftly moved away from your parents that you'll hate her, she didn't want you to grow up to be as delusional as they are, it's worse than you realize Andi, her EDS got bad to the point she couldn't flee herself, not without help, my dad eventually got the up the nerve to whisk her away with help from aunt Becca, she's afraid Andi" says Tori
"I could never hate her, I figured she had something to do with me being sent here, I've gotten to live my best life here with Sabrína, mom and dad hate her, I never got to have sleepovers with Sabrína back in LA" says Andrea
"she's actually supposed to be here today, she likes to play in the snow on the beach, something about the cold helping numb her pain while the edibles kick in" says Tori
"there's only ONE person who lays on the beach during winter, we call her the snow angel, are you trying to say that my sister is the snow angel, because the woman tells security her name is Emily" says Andrea
"it's her, she goes by Emilia or Emilie, it's intended to seem so far fetched as to remove links to you, she feels that your parents were beginning to see you as some sort of freaky sexual object when she arranged for you to be sent to New York behind your parents back with Sabrína, I'm the only one that was allowed to keep in contact with her once she was whisked away from Los Angeles, she misses the beaches quite a lot" says Tori

"I know it's hard to believe Andi but it's true, my dad likes to say 'not all criminals want their children to become criminals also', you can't change who they are, they have to be the ones to make that change" says Tori

"you think being the daughter of a cop is easy, I grew up fearing that the chief would come by to console me because my dad died, every day I had to live in fear because he takes a hard line against gangs, armed robbers and mass shooters, your drawings of me kept me in a happy mood, until I started dating Cat, I honestly had very little reason or will to remain in this world besides those drawings" says Tori
"wait you kept those, I'm pretty sure your dad would kill me if he knew I drew you that way" says Andrea terrified
"Cat's the only other person who knew about them, I didn't think she could keep such a secret but she's done pretty well" says Tori

"there's a lot of stuff that didn't happen that should have when we were little Sabrína, you and Tori kissing for example, I knew of Tori but people generally scared me unless my parents or teachers introduced me to them, fellow kids or adults included" says Cat

"huh, I didn't know that, well we should probably go see my aunt and uncle at their shop to pick up those edibles, Andi could probably make a lot of money selling drawings, Izzy clearly didn't understand what was actually going on" says Cat

"they're red dresses, is green lace a thing, I think it would look amazing on the sleeves and the fringe at the bottom of the dress" says Tori
"it does exist but only one company in all of New York state sells it on Long Island, it's not cheap but she makes it custom to order, it's a few miles west of here, between here and New York city, Magic Fabric Mae is the only fabric supplier willing to work with the community, often donating scraps, though every Christmas she tends to donate a few massive rolls of fabric, it allows me to make new clothes for the girls every year" says Sabrína
"I was under the assumption this was basically a nudist community, Izzy said it was nudity blind, why does everyone wear so many clothes, I was expecting a little more skin" says Cat
"nudity blind sure, that definitely applies, though less so in winter and fall and it doesn't apply when 'outsiders' visit for beach access, we've had quite a few cold winters lately, if it weren't for the fact that the former Governor pays ninety percent of our heating bill we'd all be homeless again, especially after last winter, the beach is called Sandy Shore beach, kids started calling it rock shore beach because the sand was hard as rocks" says Sabrína
"why are we outsiders, we share the same condition" asks Cat offended
"it's mainly because you don't have a house here, the surrounding towns hate us, they intentionally restrict our travel, we can't stop for food or gas in their towns, we have to drive right through until we get to new York city, sometimes we barely make it, it's not that they won't trust you and Tori, it's actually quite the opposite, we seem to be the only place that knows you guys share the same condition, we keep it a secret though, it's that we have a hard time trusting people who we don't personally know, the kids especially, we're surrounded by towns who hate us but don't actually know us so we've generally become untrusting, if you were to agree to spend more time here, even if it's just once or twice a month they'd really warm up to you, they look up to you and Tori, they absolutely love your music, however they feel like approaching you or talking to you is illegal because of your media presence, they think the paparazzi will be here shortly like they were with Izzy, those nosey creeps got pictures of nudes girls and only handed all copies over after Izzy sued them to near oblivion and won" says Sabrína
"Izzy communicated to the media that they're to be hands off with Tori and I if I'm traveling to new York city and that if I want them around that I'd ask, your mayor is the one that informed her about the rule about media, had she known ahead of time she'd have asked for a police escort and to secure the community while she visited, now the media jumps when she barks orders for privacy, she also got Liv and Mo privacy from the media" says Cat
"it was my mistake not Izzy's, I forgot to tell her to travel under an assumed name, when you check out with the guards you need to tell them what you're returning with and who it's for, otherwise the edibles won't be allowed in" says Andrea
"I was under the assumption that Sabrína invited her and ok I'll inform the guards, may I ask why" says Cat
"Sabi wouldn't have invited her to this beach, not with Izzy's media presence, we have safe beach availability on the west coast of Long Island, the towns there actually did their research on the condition, as for the guards thing, for us to keep getting the governors money we have to follow the state and federal laws to the letter, that means medicinal edibles without a prescription have to be reported, though following the laws to the letter does mean that when a pervert lies his way into the community we get immediate FBI and state police assistance in removing them" says Andrea
"but I'm getting you insurance by tomorrow, the no prescription thing would only be temporary, does that change anything" says Cat suddenly worried she can't get Andi the edibles
"supposedly if you tell them she doesn't have a prescription because of missing insurance but you're going to rectify that, they should let it in, though I've never actually tried, even though I've passed your aunt's edible store many times, I've been worried I'd be arrested for possession and because of the pain she's in she'd starve without my help" says Sabrína
"that's understandable, anyway we'll be back in a few hours, it's getting really cold" says Cat as everyone nods
At Cat's aunt's store 45 minutes later
"why hello Cat, visiting the community I imagine, I'd be surprised if they let any of my products in there, the guards are pretty strict" says Gia Valentine
I need the fruit flavoured EDS pain edibles for Andi, you remember her, the artist girl from my birthday party way back when, turns out there was a misunderstanding about what was actually going on, doctor Milton can't prescribe her the edibles without insurance, something I'm going to fix today also, you have a deal with the state to provide medicated edibles without a prescription as an alternative for addicts for their pain" says Cat
"ahh Andrea Vega, yes, I remember her, I'll lose the deal I have with the government if I don't talk to Andi's doctor before giving you the edibles Cat, I can't risk ending up on the wrong side of the law, like I said those guards are pretty strict, I've tried to get Andi the edibles a few years ago, they turned me away, their hands on their guns" says Gia
"they're getting funding from the former Governor, he put a stipulation in the agreement for utilities payments and basic security, they have to follow state and federal law to the letter, also they've been sloppy before and accidentally let illegal drugs into the community so they're more than a little nervous" says Cat as she video calls Doctor Milton
"Hello Gia, I'm glad Cat came to you, even if she is family to you, you are the closest dispensary associate to the community" says Doctor Milton
"I need a prescription to send Cat away with the edibles for Andrea, that community doesn't want drugs, medicinal or otherwise in that community without a prescription or a really good reason" says Gia
"I am forbidden to prescribe edibles without my patients having health insurance, the clinic I work in is quite strict, they want to prevent addictions from starting, though in my eyes they do go too far in enforcing that rule more often than they let things slide, Cat begged them for a week to get Andi edibles to work on reducing her pain, with Cat agreeing to watch over Andi for the week they granted her request for a week long dose regimen, Cat has until then to get Andi and Sabrína health insurance, however they said that if the edibles prove effective in reducing Andi's pain, they're willing to give her an extra week for Cat to get the insurance if needed" says Doctor Milton
"I have a plan all loaded, they just need you to confirm you won't try and interfere with a regimen that actually works for Andi, they know about your past issues with meds and EDS and psych patients" says Cat
"I know you blame me for a lot of things Cat but my mentor in Los Angeles lied to me, made me think your brother was lying about pain and the one a day medication he was on and him refusing to follow the directions, also I wasn't your brothers only doctor, however that's why I was placed here at this particular clinic, they're a by the book clinic, I may not agree with how strict they are but at least they punish doctors who mislead other doctors about patients being drug abusers when they actually aren't, you have my word that I won't interfere with the regimen so long as its effective unless she asks me to" says Doctor Milton
"ok, I'll put the doses in a bag with clear instructions on when to take one, as soon as the insurance clears, I expect a faxed prescription for Andrea, we don't need her in any more pain or threatening to harm herself or leave the girl she's dependent on to survive while in so much pain" says Gia

"ok, the edibles I'm getting Andi are one every twelve hours, for the first week anyway, after the first week it's once every six hours" says Gia as she packs up the EDS specific edibles

"I'm not a doctor Tori, you'd have to get checked out by a doctor" says Gia
"she's still recovering from a nasty fall from the crazy ice storm, she suffered amnesia, we've been standing out in the cold talking to Sabrína and Andrea, her backs probably numb" says Cat
"we have edibles that help with memory recall but they're a tad expensive, double our regular price" says Gia
"how often would she take them" asks Cat
"once a day for a month, it's forty-five dollars, plus the twenty two for Andi's edibles" says Gia as Cat pays in cash

"she switched to the bank I use, we have a joint bank account now, she's been taking out cash, she finds it allows her to spend less because she can physically see how much she's allotted herself for any given trip, also the bank account we're with now is a California wide bank, it allows for free bank transfers to anyone within California, Cat wasn't sure she could use it here in New York without extra charges to her account for out of state spending, plus having cash on hand has helped her a few times get better in store deals" says Tori
"fair enough, you should probably get that insurance policy online for Andi and Sabrína so they can use it asap" says Gia as Tori nods and they leave
"what did she mean by online, I called the company about the policy" asks Cat

"apparently the clinic here works at is very strict about prescribing pot products medicinally, they require health insurance, he implied that he'd have prescribed the edibles a long time ago if it didn't endanger his job" says Cat
"so it is possible for him to care about a patient, he didn't seem to care about Angelina's life, we still believe his negligence as her doctor ended her life" says Jamison
"Angelina's not actually dead, she's in witness protection, she gave the FBI information about their parents criminal activity beyond what the LAPD knew about, they helped bank robbers successfully rob banks and they help gang members get away with their crimes, though their worst actions hadn't yet been made, they were planning to sell Angelina and Andrea into the sexual slavery underworld because they have the sexual aging disorder like Cat and I do, Angelina had Sabrína and Andrea sent away five years ago to protect them, unfortunately for Angelina her Elhers-Danlos was getting too painful for her to get away on her own, the feds helped her fake her death as a way to guarantee that she would continue to inform them about any new crimes being committed by their parents" says Tori
"ahh yes that investigation, there were rumors that Angelina had survived and was going by Emily or something like that but as Cat's family paid for the funeral, if they weren't saying anything to us then we had reason to doubt it" says Jamison
"yeah, we weren't supposed to confirm it, the FBI said that Angelina's life depended on us keeping her survival a secret" says Cat
"I admit, I'm curious, was her heart attack faked or intentionally set off" says Jamison
"it wasn't faked, Angelina's heart is weak as it is because of her Elhers-Danlos syndrome getting worse, she'd planned to fake food poisoning to get to the hospital when the heart attack struck, the feds had a whole plan that had to be altered last minute to justify their reasons for being at the hospital since someone making food poorly at the fast food place she frequented was now an invalid reason, the feds set her up with an insurance policy with you under the name Emilia Aeirheart Jackson" says Tori
"air as i r, we have a few people under that spelling, an Emilia is indeed one of them with it as their middle name" says Jamison
"it's her, she mentioned your company specifically, said you were pot product friendly when it came to insurance for Elhers-Danlos syndrome pain treatment" says Tori
"may I ask why she used an Irish word in her name, as someone with Irish relatives, while I'm not personally offended by it others might be" says Jamison
"the lawyer mediating her information between her, the FBI and witness protection is Irish and to keep her hidden from her family he basically adopted her, he's Irish, he was ok with Aeirheart so witness protection signed off on it, nobody ever asks her what her middle name is so it's likely not a problem, anyway send that insurance form to my email so Cat and I can sign it" says Tori

"they have very little money, unless you're giving them the insurance for free, something no insurance company does as far as I know, they won't sign any documents, they struggle to pay their bills as it is, the entire community or town or whatever it's officially called is extremely poor, very few of them have cell phones or cars, every town around them hates them, anyone who gets insurance of any kind is yelled at any time they leave the community, those same towns won't allow companies to invest infrastructure into the community, they have satellite internet that's paid for by the former Governor, even then it's only on a few houses and they share between houses with a cable" says Cat
"frankly as long as its paid on time we don't care if you pay for it Catarina but as it would be their insurance it has to be in their names and they have to sign it, for legal reasons, as your father's daughter I'd have expected you to know that" says Jamison
"of course I know that, they're squeamish about contracts, last year they'd put money towards a new tub as their old one cracked and leaked any time they had a shower or bath, they'd had enough money for a rather nice tub, the contractor got them the cheapest tub in existence, not to mention it was installed backwards, the contractor says they still owe him money as he 'overspent' on the tub, they're unlikely to sign the contract unless my name is on there as well" says Cat
"fair enough, I'll let the legal team know that your name will be on the contract as an assurance and that you're not double dipping, email with the contract has been sent, please let Liv and Mo know their insurance contract needs to be renewed, I've tried several days in a row to contact them and I haven't gotten an answer back" says Jamison

"back to the community, I promised the guards that getting Andi back on her pain relief edibles was my first priority, once we do that we can decide if getting more gas for another trip is worth it today, I'm in pain from standing so much, I'm not too fond of this extreme cold, my legs don't like it" says Cat as Tori turns onto the road leading to the community
"we can make a week 9r two of it, though you really seemed to like the community, your jaw dropped at all the snow" says Tori
"I'm not used to so much of it, whenever my family and I would visit Izzy and her family in Canada before they moved to LA, it was always more ice than snow, I could never figure out why there was so little snow, she would say it was feet thick the week before but she prefers the ice because she loves figure skating" says Cat

"absolutely, you don't understand just how isolated I felt as a kid, it was a struggle just to get other kids to acknowledge I existed let alone talk to me, Andi and Izzy were really the only two main people I had to influence my personality as a kid, it's why I'm as excitable as I am, I mean I've always been this excitable but I used to hide it in public but they used to repeat over and over 'life's too short to hide who you are Cat, the ones for you will love you for you, there's no point in hiding it', as it turns out they were right" says Cat as they near the community

"my brother is polyamorous, always has been, he gave me a different perspective on polyamory, he said it's all about consent, that as long as everyone in the relationship consents to being in the relationship there's nothing wrong about it, that's what they were getting at, not that I'm by nature polyamorous, but that if I wanted a polyamorous relationship that they'd like me for me and not for the me I faked in public" says Cat as they arrive at the community gates and the guards approach

"I do yes, I'll be staying here all week with Tori, also if you care so much about Andi's pain issues maybe you should have let Gia Valentine in a few years ago, she runs a state licensed edible store and she came here because people who visited here talked of how much pain Andi was in, she wanted to help" says Cat
"we care Miss Valentine but we have a rule about donations, medicines, edibles or otherwise, you have to call in advance, we only let you bring the edibles in because you let us know in advance, we've made the mistake of letting drug dealers in before and they resulted in the community getting raided because the dealers used the community as a shield because of the former Governors funding, they thought the state police wouldn't kick them out, Gia is a wonderful woman, we love what she does but she didn't want Andrea knowing she was donating the edibles, that's against our rules, she also happened to pick the busiest days for our nudity blindness to try and make the delivery , we have celebrations every summer for the kids making it another year older, it happens every week all summer, anyway when we informed her that she had to call us in advance so we could let Andrea know, she got all upset and said it had to be a surprise, she tried a few more times and even managed to sneak in once, after we had to escort her out she never tried again" says Guard Anthony
"she's my aunt, she can be very hard headed and very persistent, part of her license requirement for keeping the license is to provide potential addicts as well as current and former with safe alternatives to illegal drugs, mostly in the form of pot edibles, she provides Angel with edibles for her pain and wanted to make sure Andi didn't continue to buy edibles on the street, it's pretty scary actually, Andi's gambling problem is a result of how the dealer prefers to get paid, he made her place bets for a ton of money on the losing team, Andi's a stats girl, she can pick a losing team out of a group by studying past games, had she been allowed to bet on winning teams that in itself could have independently funded the community to the point where they're the richest town in existence in all of America" says Cat
"would you buy a house here, even if just for vacations or getaways, my daughter is your biggest fan in the community, it's been her dream to meet you" says Anthony
"I'd love to build a home here, unfortunately I don't know your rules, I have a very unique style and my friends go where I go unless it's a last minute trip, my requirements would be very specific, my house in LA has a special pain that changes color based on the temperature, it's actually very easy to stare at for hours if you're not careful" says Cat as the guard opens the gate to the community and follows them in
"if you're here a week and outside the girls around here will show you the plot of land they've said is rightfully yours, it's a rather large plot of land with direct beach access, a mansion used to sit there before that hurricane destroyed it, it was one of the only houses that was completely destroyed, most of the other houses still had at least a little structure left, a few were even untouched as side from missing roofs for protection from the weather" says Anthony as Tori parks in the parking lot designated for visitors and they get out
"we'll need a motel room, we don't care how small, Sabrína and Andi's house isn't big enough, we don't care what we're charged, we have a visit budget of seven thousand, that's outside of fuel and anything we buy, we're ready to spend up to fifteen thousand if we have to, we'll likely be a little loud tonight either way so if we have to pay for three rooms to prevent noise issues we will" says Tori
"the only motel we have is struggling financially, as we don't get many visitors noise won't be a problem, as you don't have any food with you just let them know if you're hungry and they'll make it for you or get it for you" says Anthony as Tori's phone goes off
"thanks but Sabrína and Andrea are amazing cooks, they just don't have the space to host us, they're getting food ready, Cat doesn't have the heat not energy to go out again, it's way colder than she thought it would be, could you please point us in the direction of the motel" says Tori
"it's actually just around the corner, it's probably best you get back in your car and park in the parking space of the motel room you want to use, you might get run over by children otherwise, they heard you were here and that you'd be back" says Anthony
"get them together in the morning, I'll sign whatever they want if they wheel me to that plot of land and bring Tori with me after" says Cat
"they'd probably rather cuddle and get hugs and a kiss than anything else, they idolize you guys" says Anthony
"we may have to spread that over the week then" says Cat as they get back into the car and follow Anthony to the motel
