It was weird. 'Where is he? Don't tell me he went out on his own again!' was all that Sanji could think about. The green haired man called Zoro had gotten lost again, whilst trying to find Luffy. Whilst looking around, he had finally noticed the spiral fences that adorned the side of the country. There was 9. 4 or the left, 5 on the right. As he walked towards one, he heard a scream from the ground.
"Eh?!" He yelled in response, bewildered by the childish scream he heard from the wilting ground. Before he could process what had happened, he had been blown backwards by the ground that had been lifted up. As he looked at the ground, he realised that the was a small camera that fell back into place, from what he could tell. Out of the ground came out a woman. She looked familiar, but Zoro couldn't figure it out, despite the obvious reason. She appeared to wield a long, slender black baton that when she strikes it down, it summons a fireball the size of a tree.
"Roronoa Zoro?" She asked, whilst in a blue and black polka-dot dress, "I know you! Are you here to liberate Vetova? Before you ask, I need you a second. My name's Ann, it's VERY nice to meet you, Mr. Roronoa!" She suddenly grabbed Zoro's muscular arm and pulled it vigorously. Despite appearing to be stronger than her, her gripped reminded him of Nami's Angry Grab, which was notorious for being strong. As she pulled him further into the winding fence's center, he became warmer, until he could no longer bare it.
"Sorry, Zoro, do you want me to put Promey back into the Baton?" She asked politely. Promey? That sounds like something Nami would call Prometheus! As he saw the huge fireball shrink in size, he had realised that it was actually a replica of Prometheus. It wasn't the same, as it took on Zeus's personality and face. The fence was decorated with photos of Nami, which allured Zoro's interest.
"Do you... know Nami?" Zoro asked cautiously, afraid of asking a potentially personal question. With a smirk, Ann shaked her head, but responded with, "No, but it's vital that we meet, so Master can fulfil the prophecy." 'Prophecy?! What's going on with this woman?' Zoro thought to himself. As he was processing what she said, a mysterious woman walked in, with a vacant stare that even freaked Zoro out, disturbing his thoughts in the process. The woman appeared to have a long sleeved shirt. Although her hands should be visible, they weren't, which scared Zoro slightly. He noticed that a symbol was on her shirt; a Jolly Roger of the 'God-Born Pirates,' a skull's face inside of two horseshoes. She wore baggy shorts and shoes that looked Non-Human. Her hair drooped low below her shoulders with the Cosmic Purple complementing the waviness. The freakiness of the asymmetrical eyes was off-putting; one robotic, distant eye, and one young, curious eye.
"Stop doing that Francine, you're gonna scare Mr. Roronoa!" Ann panicked. Francine replied in a monotone voice, "Sorry." Knowing that he couldn't hang around for much longer, Zoro quickly ran off to find Luffy. It took nearly 30 seconds for Zoro to get lost again, and for the pair to realise that Zoro had disappeared. Very quickly, Zoro had come across the scientific musician, Dam and the Vetovian master of Fishman Karate, the Whale Shark Fishwoman, Elah. Whilst Dam was very chill and tall, Elah was very stressed and short, making a perfect duo of friends.
"Do you need help, good sir?" Dam asked, to which Zoro shook his head. 'That symbol again!' Zoro thought as he ran off again. This time, it was on Dam's belt and Elah's dress. As he ran "South," he noticed 5 more people, with that symbol. He noticed a Tanooki Mink, with the symbol on his jacket (that was bright pink), A brunette chef, with the symbol on her long, tall hat, a sniper with it on her long, flowing, red cape, and finally a tall, red-headed swordsman, with the symbol on her crop top. He suddenly remembered spotting that symbol on Kami's Toga, when they were fighting. 'What was going on?'
Ring... Ring... Clank.
"Is this Commander BB?...[Yes, it is. what's wrong?"]... He's here, BB. Be careful of Nika as he's on his way to rescue that damn graceful mistake... [Kami? I thought she worked under God-Born Pirates, though?]... That's the thing, BB. She thinks her Devil Fruit is awakened. Even the Oharian troublemaker didn't realise this. Her Devil Fruit is, the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Kawakami, the graceful Goddess of Paper, the one who helped Vetova 800 years ago, and failed to help Joyboy. She was the one that foretold the return of Nika! She is-" -beep.- Blackbeard had cut him off to early. He thought that he had heard everything he needed to hear. Unfortunately, Kami had heard everything via a piece of paper. But she couldn't process what she had heard. After a few seconds it had clicked. Nobody had modified her Devil Fruit, it was actually a midway point! 'But, why hasn't it awakened yet?'
The first one to make it was Luffy, then Zoro caught up shortly.
"Can we wait a couple of minutes for the rest to catch up, please?" Zoro asked in short breath. With a blazing smile, Luffy nodded. Soon after, everyone had arrived.
"Ready, everyone?...[YEAH!]" Law asked, with a cheer following.
