Late January 2018: one month later

Megumi has been training non stop with Satoru for weeks. He has become very strong, but he has a long way to go. We haven't introduced him to any cursed tools yet. That's where I would step in. My cursed technique is great don't get me wrong, but my finishing moves and main attacks are with my spear and shield just like Suguru taught me all those years ago.

But Megumi isn't ready for that yet. He was just able to summon his two demon dogs. He's coming along fairly quickly. Satoru is very proud of him. He tries not to show it, he wants to give him tough love, but he does.

Satoru and I have been officially dating for about a month now. Of course, we've known each other for years, but us being together has only strengthened our bond. My nightmares are less frequent with him there. He started slowly bringing some of his stuff over to my place to keep there. He was getting annoyed having to go back and forth.

Megumi figured out we were together pretty quickly. He is very smart and adept. It didn't take him long. Megumi tries to joke with us about it, but Satoru always gets the best of him. It's a strange family dynamic between us, but it works somehow.

Megumi and Satoru walk in the room after a training session outside one day, Megumi out of breath and Satouru looking as smug as ever.

"It isn't fair when you use your infinity." Megumi says sitting back in his chair.

"Tell me about it." I say.

"Hey, if you want to be the best then you have to train with the best. You'll never get anywhere if I don't push you to your limits." Satoru says.

"Yeah yeah whatever. What about my first solo assignment?" Megami asks impatiently.

I smirk, "okay, so this is your first solo assignment. You'll be taking on a fourth grade curse on your own. We won't be there to protect you, so never let your guard down and use your head." I tell him.

He nods, "alright, when do I head out?" He asks.

"Sending the coordinates now." Satoru says.

Megumi's phone dings and he nods his head again, "thanks. It won't take me long." He says walking out of the room.

"Wait, hold up, before you go.." Satoru says grabbing his shoulders and guiding him back over near me, "we need a selfie!"

"Gojo.." Megumi says annoyed as Satoru grabs him by the shoulder and pulls him in. I run behind them and throw up peace signs. Sometimes it's funny to mess with Megumi.

Satoru takes the picture and lets go of Megumi.

"Now you may go." He tells him.

Megumi groans and walks away.

"Man, is he embarrassed of us or what?" Satoru says.

I laugh, "yeah. He is."

"Well, not that I have you all to myself..." Satoru says.

"Hold on, dinner first, this later?" I ask him.

He chuckles, "alright fine. Y'know, you've been eating way more than me recently. Have you been hitting the gym harder lately?" He asks.

"I mean i've been getting bigger nunbers sure. My deadlifts are at 225 lbs and my seated cable rows are at 120 lbs. My bench isn't amazing but it's still pretty heavy. Maybe my body needs the extra calories to compensate." I tell him.

He chuckles, "well, let's not get in the way of your gains. C'mon, i'll make some steaks."

My mouth waters at the thought, "yes please."

We head back to our apartment, well mine but Satoru stays here mostly, and he starts making dinner. The smell of the steaks cooking fills the entire room and I can't wait another second. It smells so good.

When he's finished, he places our plates on the table and it doesn't take long for me to finish the meal. I was starving.

"Geez, that was quick. Do you want some of mine?" He asks.

"No no, you eat it." I tell him secretly wanting some of it.

He sighs and smirks as he cuts into his steak, "here." He says placing another fourth of the steam on my plate, "eat this."

"Satoru, I can't eat your food." I tell him.

"Why not? Besides, I was planning on having some cake after dinner." He tells me taking a bite of his steak.

I look at him innocently, "what kind of cake?..."

He chuckles, "cheesecake. What some?" He asks.

"Yes please." I tell him.

After dinner, both of us are stuffed to the brim. I ended up eating three pieces of cheese cake. Satoru leads us to the couch and we begin to watch some show we've been watching for a while.

Eventually, I stop focusing on the show and start thinking of him. His muscular build, his gorgeous smile, his captivating eyes. The way his eyes look when he's entangled with me.

I turn to him and climb into his lap, not even giving a chance for him to respond. I tangle my hands in his hair and kiss him fiercely. He smiles against my lips and breaks the kiss.

"Need something?" He asks in a low tone.

"Yes please." I tell him.

We spend the night entangled with each other.

I'll never be able to express how much I love him. How much he means to me. So I always show him. I show him as much love as I possibly can. I never want him to think I don't.

Afterwards, we fall asleep on the couch. The show still playing, and his arms wrapped around me.

———

Crying. Why do I hear crying? But it isn't anyone I know. It sounds like... A child.

I walk around, looking for the source of the crying, but I can't find it. I look around and see that i'm in Jujutsu high school. These are the halls of the students. Why is there a child here?

I turn the corner that goes to Megumi's room and see him lying there, dead. He looks much older. Much more mature and experienced. There's blood everywhere. What's going on?

I run to him in a panic. I may not be his mother, but I still raised him from a very young

age with Satoru. He's as much mine as my own child would be in my eyes. I panic as I see him so injured and bloodied. He can't be dead. Tears fall down my face violently as I run.

I finally reach him and notice a small boy knelt down beside him. He is the one who's crying. He has mainly brown hair but with highlights of white and almost a smoke grey, like the brown and white tried to mix in places. Is this... It couldn't be...

"Mom? Why won't Megumi get up?" He asks me.

I'm taken back in surprise.

"Mom?" I ask him confused, "you're my son?"

Then, before the boy can answer a hand grabs me quickly and I jump in surprise.

"Naomi, run! Take Niko and run!" Megumi says in a panic.

"Niko?" I ask confused, "who's Niko?" I ask.

"What? Who's Niko? He's you and Gojo's son! They will come for him! You have to run! I'll hold them off! Go!" He says yelling at me.

Who? What's happening? What's going on? I don't understand, Satoru and I don't have a son. What is this?

"Naomi!" I hear Megumi say but I don't respond. I'm to captured by the look of Satoru's eyes. No, not his eyes, they're the boy's eyes. But he has my nose and eye lashes. Is it true, were we gifted with a son? When? He is so beautiful.

"Naomi!" I hear him yell again, only this time it sounds like Satoru. I look around for him but I don't see him. He has to see this too. He has to see our gift.

"Naomi, wake up!" I hear him say again.

I'm jolted awake and look around. I'm in my bedroom, Megumi and the beautiful boy Niko are nowhere to be found. It was a dream.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here." Satoru says pulling me close to him. Only then do I notice the tears rolling down my cheeks.

"What happened?" I ask.

"You had a nightmare. You kept repeating Megumi's name, and another one." He tells me.

"Niko." I say remembering the boys face. He was perfect.

"Who's Niko?" Satoru asks confused.

I shake my head and take a breath, "no one. It was just a dream." I tell him.

He sighs knowing I don't want to talk about it now.

"Okay. You know you can tell me anything right?" He says.

I nod my head and he places a kiss on top of it.

"Okay. Let's get back to bed." He tells me.

We lay back down and i'm turned to him. His blue eyes begin to glow as he puts his infinity up.

"I'll never let anything happen to you. I promise." He says seriously and in a low tone.

He rubs my arm gently and soon, I fall back into a deep sleep.
