"Give me a rest, Mal."

Ben asks his wife. He's too tired to shout, but he won't give up defending his point of view.

"When are you going to see that this baby is a danger?"

Mal warns him again.

" You both stopped!" Rashid intervenes in what looks like a fight between two children: "If you want to be stable, stop fighting now." The two keep quiet, but their faces remain closed. "No stress for now, okay? I have to see something, try to stay calm."

Enchanted forest

"I want to see Mal."

Nanny speaks calmly to her sister.

" What?"

Helena laughs, doubting her own logical reasoning.

"I'm going to Auradon, Helena."

Nanny speaks slowly to see if the Fairy Godmother understands.

"I heard you the first time. I just don't understand."

She rolls her eyes at her sister's debauched tone and turns away from her again.

"How hard is it to understand?"

She doesn't need to read her thoughts to know that her anger and despair are gradually coming to the surface.

"You haven't appeared in public for years, Nanny."

She explains the first point that rebuts Nanny's desire. She doesn't understand why she suddenly wants to go to Auradon.

"There's always a first time."

She really isn't the same fairy she was a few months ago. She's convinced of what she wants and won't give up on it.

"I don't think you should go, sister."

"I'm not asking your permission." Nanny smiles at the implication that she is asking permission. "I've been wanting to see my granddaughter ever since she arrived in Auradon, but you know how I've been for the last few years."

"And you think now is the best moment?"

The Fairy Godmother recognizes her sister's stubbornness but expects her common sense to help her understand the reality they're in.

"I can't see a better time."

"You're the most stubborn person I know, Nanny." For a moment, She does think what the two of them are going to do. "All right, wait two days. Ben and she are going to announce the arrival of the heir, and the kingdom is going to be a mess, and you don't want everyone to know that The One of Legends is alive, right?

The principal of Auradon Prep uses the name the world has given her to show that she's right. She is and always will be her sister's, but to the world, she is The One of Legends.

Fairy Godmother is already imagining the headlines. All the magical beings have come to her to fill her with questions about her sister's life.

" Okay, I'll wait a maximum of two days."

Nanny smiles as happily and cheerfully as she has in a long time. Her smile is at odds with Helena's look of dread.

Auradon

02 days later

Every time a big announcement is made, the royal family has to gather in front of the castle's large balcony, and all the journalists are summoned. If the king and queen's wishes had been taken into account, they wouldn't have announced the pregnancy until a few months later. However, because of rumors, they thought it was best to announce the arrival of the future child.

Mal and Ben are still not at peace, but they will make up eventually. In all their years together, it's the first time they've fought so much.

"King Benjamin and Queen Mal!"

Lumiere makes his traditional announcement, and the couple make their triumphant entrance to the applause of everyone.

"Good morning, Auradon. It is with great joy that I announce the arrival of Auradon's heir. Our queen is pregnant, and we will soon have our first child."

Ben tells the news in a few words, causing widespread euphoria. Everyone screams with excitement, and thanks to Lady's lessons, Mal has learned the different types of smiles to disguise the false joy.

Minutes later, all the news reports say the same thing: "Auradon's heir is coming", while the groups of friends start betting on the baby's gender and name.

Meanwhile, Benjamin is talking to some of the nobles of the court, and Mal has left, claiming a strange weakness. She headed towards the most isolated part of the party.

"Would you like an apple?"

A lady wearing an overcoat that covered most of her body and face appeared in front of the queen and offered her the fruit.

" Wow! Wrong story, old lady."

Although she laughed, she was actually startled by the presence of the mysterious woman, who now looked like the Evil Queen in her classic scene with Snow White.

"I'm sorry if I scared you."

She say, now understanding the girl's joke. In fact, if she's in this dark and even frightening clothes, it's only to avoid being recognized by the old members of the court.

"No, it's okay."

She's nauseous and only went to that room to avoid talking.

"Mal, what's up?"

Ben went over to call her.

"Yes, I'm just talking to..." When she turned towards the lady, she was gone. There's no one behind her. "Nothing, there's no one here."

"Can you talk to yourself now?"

He asked debauchery.

" Don't stress me, Ben." She asked, walking away from him. "Let's take those pictures and go." They need to take the pictures for the newspaper, and that's what she's going to do. She smiles for the cameras and then goes back to her room.

"Come on, we still have that meeting that Fairy Godmother scheduled."

(...)

"Couldn't it wait?"

Helena shouts from inside the meeting room with her older sister.

"Honestly, no. Tell me something, why does Cinderella have a kingdom named after her? Don't the king and queen of Auradon rule everything?"

Nanny ignored Fairy Godmother's despair and asked calmly. But this calmness was completely different from what she was feeling hours ago. The anxiety she was feeling hurt. She couldn't wait for the deadline to see Mal.

"Everyone has their own province, but Auradon governs them all as if they were a single great kingdom. Sometimes it seems like a mess, but...it doesn't change the subject!" The Fairy Godmother could talk about the history of the kingdoms for hours, and Nanny took advantage of this. "It's such a mess today, why can't it wait a bit longer?"

"I've waited 24 years." And in these few words, it's clear how much Nanny loved Mal. Perhaps out of guilt or pity, the Fairy Godmother only bowed her head and agreed. "I want to see her, she needs me."

"She does? She doesn't even know who you are, Nanny."

Fairy Godmother lets out a tired yet debauched laugh. His patience is wearing thin faster and faster.

"Auntie? Auntie!" Jane walks into her mother's living room to tell her something she can no longer remember. When she sees her aunt, she forgets everything. "I can't believe you're here. I thought you wanted to keep your life a secret. Isn't it risky being here?" The two of them hug tightly, and she stays close to her fairy aunt.

" And it is dangerous."

The Fairy Godmother warns again about what should be obvious to her sister.

"I have my reasons, dear, and as for the danger, rest assured that your aunt can take care of herself." Jane resembled her mother when she was younger and more fearless. "Then this is your chance to introduce me to Carlos." She is excited as she watches Jane get even happier.

"You'll love meeting him. Oh, sh*t, Mom, the guys are waiting for you."

She finally remembers to tell them.

"What guys?"

"Mal's family, I brought them together to talk about you." Helena makes a point of facing her so that she can see that all this could have been avoided. "I don't want it to be a shock for Mal and the others when they find out about you. If you'd just wait a bit." The two sisters snorted tiredly together. "Jane, stay here and do NOT let her leave, okay? I have a lot of explaining to do, especially to the queen."

Fairy Godmother takes a deep breath and opens the door. Her tired sigh is real and shows just how exhausted she is.

The villains' kids, Ben, Doug, Rashid, Belle and Adam, are gathered in the big room of the king's palace. Everyone already knows about Mal's condition and the complicated pregnancy, so it's best to explain everything to everyone at once.

"So, are you still going to keep secrets about where you've been?"

Mal takes a moment to talk to Jay.

"What? Are you talking to me?"

He was watching Carlos and Dude play when she called him over.

"Who else is disappearing every week?"

Evie cuts in.

"We're family and whatever, but my secrets are my own."

Jay warns, not liking their intrusion into his life.

"What's the point, Jay? Lonnie's worried."

Evie remembers her friend, who isn't even coming to family events anymore.

" I've been talking to her."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I told her it was silly to fight with her brother."

"But where are you going that you don't get home until late?"

Carlos also asked.

"If you keep questioning me, I'm leaving."

"Nobody's leaving, Jay." The fairy godmother gracefully appears in front of them. "I have to talk to you."

"Where's Jane?"

Carlos asks, surprised at his girlfriend's absence.

"Looking after someone. All right, come on, I've come to talk to you all about someone very important." The Fairy Godmother hasn't felt scared in many years. "You studied about fairies at school, right? Do you remember a specific fairy? She's called One of Legends."

"I remember vaguely that she was quite powerful."

Mal says this without even knowing his part in the story.

"If you want to say more about her, I think I'd better clarify that not all of us stayed awake in that class."

Carlos says, remembering his days at Auradon Prep.

"So, for many years, The One of Legends was one of the most powerful fairies of my generation. Her power was a lot, and she was principal of the fairy school for a long time."

The Fairy Godmother's hands are worn as she tries to explain her own history.

"Do fairies have a school?"

"Of course, it's the place where they learn everything. From flying to granting wishes,"

Belle tells the youngsters.

"Maleficent studied there, as far as I know."

Ben also comments, and for a moment, Mal sees the same excitement in mother and son.

"As I was saying, The One of Legends, as she's known, has been a fairy of great reputation for all of us over the years and very important to me as her sister.

Helena confesses. She confesses something she never wanted to be a secret.

"What?"

Everyone is shocked by this information because, as far as they knew, her only relative was Jane. And it's because of these frightened expressions that the Fairy Godmother wanted to keep a secret that Nanny had initially wanted.

"She's my big sister." Helena says with a proud tone. "She is my sister, but you only learn the basics about her. No wars or family, that's my request included."

"Why?"

Mal asks, now worried that the Fairy Godmother hasn't said anything, and when fairy sees in Mal the same eyes as Maleficent, she has flashbacks about her past in Fairyland.

"My sister was present at an important Fairy Tale, and her existence changes a lot of things, and it would be better not to go into those details." A deep sense of guilt and shame seizes her again. Without their noticing, she wipes the corner of her eye. "For wizards, witches and anyone who comes into contact with magic, my sister was and always will be very important." Fairy Godmother Never imagined telling her own story.

"All those years she was presumed dead, for all the world, I said she was dead, but the truth is that she's alive."

Perhaps this doesn't have such an impact on them. It's horrifying to imagine that the Fairy Godmother has done this, but it doesn't affect them as much as her admitting out loud what she's done.

"You faked your own sister's death?"

Adam asks, indignant at her behavior.

"No, I would never do that." She defends herself as best she can. "She wanted to hide; I was against it, but what could I do? She didn't agree with the construction of Auradon, and she's the most stubborn person I know."

She laughed, remembering her behavior.

"And why is that? Does she know about Agatha and all the rest?"

Ben asked, not understanding who could be against Auradon.

"But it's more than that, she had a very strong connection with a fairy, and when she lost her, she became aimless, so she isolated herself in the Enchanted Forest and forgot about life here. After a while, she fell ill and remained so until recently."

"I'm sorry to be rude, but what do we have to do with this?"

Mal asked, pointing at himself and his friends. Although he liked history, he really wanted to go back to bed.

"You've got more than you think, Mal, and the others I've only called because it's better that everyone hears this at once."

Nanny would be happy to hear that. Mal is curious and afraid of what will come next.
