Afterglow
Chapter 20
Life was moving ahead faster then the Scotts could grasp. It had been awhile since their wedding. The newlyweds picked out and recently closed on their dream home.
5 bedroom. 4 bath. Sprawling fenced property. A pool and fully updated kitchen and outdoor eating area.
The house had three stories. The bedrooms were on the second floor. The spare bedrooms were all next to each other. The master suite was in a seperate area down the hall.
Lucas had his home office downstairs and the third floor was mine.
That was where i would design and work on my clothing line.
The nursery was no longer an abstract idea.
It was a very realized reality. Since i was officially in my 18 week of pregnancy now. 5 months. 4 more to go. It was surreal.
The babies were the size of cucumbers. My uterus the size of a sweet potato. My baby bump had really popped.
We could finally start to feel the babies move.
I knew once i did i would burst into tears. That made them real.
Brooke thought to herself as she finished putting lotion on her belly. Wanting to reduce the stretch marks if she could.
Before making her way into the nursery. They were going to be parents. Sooner then later. Their world changing forever.

"Who can I make this out too?" Lucas asked.
He had been signing copies of his third successful novel for days now. His fans had shown up for him and he was grateful to them.
"Alex Dupre. I'll let you write whatever want." The dark haired beauty replied.
...
"I appreciate you meeting with me Brooke. I know things have been uncomfortable and off with us for awhile."
"And i want to fix it." Haley announced. As she stood at the Scott home entryway.
