I placed a finished a strawberry blueberry cheesecake, drizzled with chocolate and decorated with vanilla icing in front of her. She smiled sweetly as she started slicing the cake.

"Looks like you're baking skills have improved." Erza-nee compliments. I smiled back at her.

"I still do a lot of cooking and baking while I travel." I admitt. She looks at me with a raised brow as she took the first bite. A second passed and her eyes went wide.

"This has to be the best cake I've ever tasted." She whispers in awe. "Mira is going to be upset that someone beat her baking skills." She teases while giggling. I couldn't refrain smiling smuggly at her. Everyone at the guild always bragged about her cooking and baking skills. "How do you bake or cook when your traveling?" She asks.

"When I find a location to do some research, I build an oven either out of rocks or clay. I also have a cooking set for when I'm travelling." I explain as I shrug my shoulders. "I've been able to find several recipes when I'm researching. It's quite enjoyable to recreate them."

"Thats pretty impressive." She continues to compliment. I wave my hand between us as if it wasn't. It was just fun, almost like a side hobby. I didn't view it as impressive.

"Let's just get this over with before we start talking about the fun stuff." I hint as I eye her and her cake. She raises at brow at me as I take a drink of tea. I take a deep breath calming the emotions I've been dealing with since it happened. Now that I think about it, I haven't thought about it since I met Natsu and Happy. I look back to Erza-nee who still had her brow raises.

"Why are you smiling?" She asks. I felt blood rush to my cheeks. I didn't know I was smiling. I felt more blood rush to my face.

"I just realized that I hadn't thought about what happened since I met Natu and Happy. I normally have to be completely drunk to do so." I hesitantly answer with a pout. She smirks at me. I knew that look. She was definitely use that information against me some way, some how. I only stuck my tongue out at her, making her giggle.

"You're right though." She said as her face softened yet still looked serious. "Let's save the fun stuff for later." I nodded my head. I inhaled one more deep breath.

"Have I ever told you my last name?" My voice shook as I asked. She tilted her head while taking another bite. After a few moments she shook her head.

"No, I don't believe you have." Her voice was filled with honesty. I took another deep breath. Every time I told my last name, everyone took it differently. I only hope that she took it better than most.

"Heartifilia." I barely spoke, yet it was still barely above a whisper. I hope she heard me. I equip the best alcohol in all of Earthland, and gulped down about half the bottle. She froze on the spot. I couldn't read all the emotions that ran across her face. I took a few more gulps. Sometimes, I wished my liver was weaker than it actually was. I am way too sober for this conversation.

"I could've been a Heartifilia?" She gasp. I shrug at her question.

"Want to find out?" I asked. Her eye brows furrow closer together.

"I thought your parent were dead?" She asked after a moment.

"I have my ways." I smile as I stood. I knew good and well that it was night time now. I walked over to her side of the coffee table with a hand reaching out to her. Her facial expression didn't change as she grabs my hand. "Let me show you something." I offer. I lead her out of Fairy Hills. We stay silent the entire time, even though I could feel her wanting to ask what was going on. Once we was out side and far enough away from all the lights, I pointed to a couple of stars.

"Have you ever noticed those two stars next to the moon?" I ask. I turned towards her, seeing her look up to the night sky. She nods in agreement. "Did you ever notice that they move with the moon?" She looks at me then. I took that as a no. "They are the only stars to do so." I stated, making her look back to them. "When people die, they become stars. Those two are my parents." I watch as I told her this. Her eyes only widen, probably from shock. I look up towards the stars with her, feeding my magic to the outer cosmos of space. "Hey Momma, Papa." I miss them so much. "Now that you can see Erza-nee"

"Would you have adopted me?" She asks while interrupting me. I kept my eyes on the stars. After a few seconds, they shine brighter than before.

"They said yes!!" I couldn't hold my emotions back as I grab her into a hug. "Welcome into the family, Erza-nee!!" I could tell she hesitantly hugged me back but, it didn't bother me and I didn't let go.

"How do you know?" She barely whispers as if she was doubtful.

"They shine brighter for a yes, dim for a no, and unchanging is debatable." I told her as I hug her tighter. I could feel tears hitting my shoulder as she hugs me back. I held her as she continue to cry. It didn't bother me. I had a sister that my parents approved of that wasn't a doll. I have to do something for Natsu and Happy for giving me this opportunity. I didn't know what it is yet, but I have time. Thanks to them, I finally had somewhere where I belonged. Tears fled my eyes without any care from me. I longed for this for as long as I could remember.

"Is there something wrong?" She asks. I shook my head as I pulled back to look at her in the eyes.

"Nothing at all. I just haven't been this happy in a long time." I answer pulling her back into a hug. We stay like that, consumed by our own emotions. I felt her freeze. I pulled back to look at her face. There was anger written all over it. I raised a brow to her.

"Don't get me wrong, after meeting you, Fairy Tail has been my family." She starts as I tilt my head, listening with everything I had. "But wasn't the Heartifilia family and staff Massacred?" I could hear the hatred in her voice. I took a deep breath as I pulled completely away from her. I couldn't find it within myself to vocalize it so I just nod my head. The blood lust in the air thickens. I couldn't blame her.

"How about we get a couple of drinks in while I tell you everything?" I offer, unable to keep the sadness out of my voice. I look up to her eyes as they softened. She nods, pulling me back inside to her apartment? Floor? Whatever you want to call it. It was massive, none the less. Once inside, she went to her kitchen as grabbed a couple of bottles of wine. She silently offered me one. I shook my head showing her my bottle. She just nods as she places the extra bottle on the coffee table as we took our seats on one of the pillows surrounding it. I waited as she pours herself a drink. When she was ready, she had already downed more then half her glass and turns towards me. My breath as shaky even as I inhaled in.

I told her everything from the last time I seen her to the time I woke up from the coma a year later. My heart felt it was being pulled from every angle, tearing it to shreds. None of those people deserved death. My parents didn't deserve to be tortured the way they was. It wasn't right for anyone. Yet, that low life coward appeared on one of mom's worser days. I couldn't stop the tears that continues to run. It's been twelve years since that day, and I still couldn't stop the tears. I don't think I could until I arrest that cockroach shit.

"Who was it?" Erza-nee growled while tears were rolling one side of her face in waves. A dark ominous aura radiates off of her. She was ready to start a war over this. "Who would do that to people kind enough to adopt a girl they never met?" Her voice cracked a little. I cried with her mostly because I missed them. I accepted there fate years ago. It didn't stop the nightmares though.

"Don't worry about that. Once the word gets around that there's a blonde celestial mage hanging around Fairy Tail, he will start the war." That was one of the reasons I didn't want to stay. I didn't have to tell her that though. I'm sure she already knew that I didn't like people getting hurt. She manages to calm down a little after taking a couple of deep breaths.

"Who would be stupid enough to start a war with Fairy Tail? Would they have their own army?" She asks with a raised brow. I giggle a little at her insinuation that people were smart. Only some people are smart and others are just lucky to survive.

"More than what you think. The more known that I am here, it will definitely send Fairy Tail into war more so than all the other guilds put together." I stated, hoping I got my point across. I really didn't like the idea of anyone else seeing the pain and destruction that came with war as much as I have. Her face relaxs into a sadden look. She reachs over and held my fore arm, gripping the liquor bottle.

"Thats why you wanted to leave instead of staying." Her voice was sympathic. Her face suddenly into confident seriousness. "All the more reason for us to get stronger together. No body should have to fight alone." Her grip tightens on my fore arm. I smiled at her encouraging words I let go of the bottle to grab her hand back.

"Natsu basically said the same thing." I said softly. She starts smirking at me with a glint in her eyes.

"So you and Natsy, huh?" She was definitely teasing.

"Yeah." I drag out the last sylabol. "Ever since we took down a human trafficking scheme in Harjion, he hasn't let me leave." I pouted, feeling blood rush to my cheeks. I didn't know why but talking about Natsu like this makes me fluster.

"Has he told you why?"

"On the first day we met, he commented on my eyes and didn't explain what. The other night, he says he likes hanging out with me even though he consistently calls me a 'weirdo'." My voice felt a little shaky. Hopefully it didn't sound as bad as it felt. She swiftly nods her head.

"Sounds like something Natsu would do. By that, I mean the no explaining part. I just think he doesn't like explaining how his brain works." Erza-nee commented. "You are the only one he's ever done this to. Whatever his reason are, I'm grateful for it." She smiled softly, pulling her hand away to take a drink. I took a couple of shots with her, before smiling back. "The question now would be how you think about him?" Her smirk returns. I could tell from the tone of her voice was that he was a brother to her.

"What's that suppose to mean?" I pout, turning my head to look away from her.

"It must be something for you to have that blush on your face." She teases. My eyes widened as I use my hands to cover my face.

"I'm not blushing." I deny, feeling the blood rush through my entire head. I will never do girls night again. I hear Erza-nee giggle.

"You don't have a crush on him already, do ya?" I lift my head to look at her with a raised frow.

"Crush?" I ask. Her eye brows furrow together.

"You don't know what a crush is?" She asks, confusion blaring in her tone. I shook my head. She let out a deep breath. "I thought Natsu was bad." She complains under her breath. "A crush is when you see someone potential to live your future with. When you realize this, you get nervous and flustered around them. You know, get little butterflies in your stomach?" I tilted my head as I thought about it.

"It's not really that, even though he something does things that make me fluster."

"You two aren't fucking already, are ya?"

"What?! Erza-nee!! NO! What the hell kind of question is that?" I rambled out of shock and embarrassment. She held her hands up, surrendering, before she took another drink. I gulped down the rest of my bottle and equip another one. If my heart rate kept raising as it is, I won't be able to survive tonight. "I'm just not used to someone getting into my personal space." I pouted. "And that seems to be his favorite thing to do."

"I can understand that. Your fun to tease." I stuck my tongue out at her. She laughed at my expense. "You never did answer my question though. What do you think of him?" She ask again. She was definitely getting more demanding. Must be the wine. I took a few gulps of liquor before taking a deep breath.

"He's childish, rambunctious, and has enough energy to make any child tired." Erza-nee chuckled at that. "But that's just if you're not really paying attention. He is honestly the first person since I met you that has shown me kindness without any cause, and I'm not to sure how to think about it." She raises a brow at that as she crosses her arms in front of her chest. "He's has his own way to show that he's cares."

"Thats putting it lightly." We both chuckle at that. It really was an understatement after all. "Is there anything else I should know? I mean, you did say that you haven't thought about the massacre since you met him." She taunted. I just shrugged.

"I honestly don't know why either. Since I met Natsu, It's been more questions than answers, you know?" I slumped over a little, taking another shot.

"Give it some time. You'll figure it out." Erza-nee encouraged. I looked at her with a raised brow.

"Do you know something I don't?" I ask. Her smirk returns to her face.

"Let me ask you something, Lucy." I could feel my nerves shriveling into a ball and blumeting into the earth. "How would you feel spending more of your future with him?" I sat there and thought about it. I picture us going on more missions together. Him and Happy teasing and bothering me at the drop of a hat. I picture us arguing then him doing something ridiculous to make me forget I was mad at him. I relived the nights we fell a sleep together, realizing I wouldn't mind more of that. Erza-nee busted out laughing.

"I didn't know you had it that bad!" She almost screamed between laughs. I glared at her. I swear upon all things holy that if Mira can hear this conversation, I will destroy every strawberry cake in Fiore, then steal every strawberries and strawberry flavoring.

"What's that suppose to mean?" I was one step away from growling. I wonder if this was how it felt for Natsu to talk to Gray.

"You should've seen your face. There was so much happiness and contemptment, anyone else you probably think you're already together." She teased.

"Shut it Strawberry. If Mira hears us, say good bye to strawberry cakes in for a month." I growled. A competitive look on her face was pretty scary but I didn't back down. I looked down to her cake then back to her with a smirk on my face.

"What's the smirk for?"

"Just remembering you saying that strawberries and blueberries tasted delicious together." I teased, knowing she would understand the nick names. She froze in her spot, her face turning the same shade as her hair.

"You're right." She was stumbling over her words. "Mira doesn't need to hear this conversation." She brought her fingers up around her chin in thought. "We obviously need a code word for when we're talking about anything like this. Natsu doesn't need to know it either until you understand your own feelings." She teases. I pouted as I took another shot. She wasn't going to get out of it that easily, but she was right.

"We can't use alcohol thanks to Cana. Food is out thanks to Natsu. Books are out thanks to Levy. What about our favorite weapons?"

"Everyone might realize if we keep talking about swords." She tilted her head in another direction as I continued drinking. "What about a celestial thing then? Not too many people know about that!" Her voice raised an octave, proud of her thought. I tilted my head at that.

"How about Comets? There use to be a tribe that lived in a continent, north of Foire. For some reason they believed that the stars were connected to love, in some way shape or form. Anyways, they believed that when a pair of soul mates die, and there stars aren't next to each other, the star will move until their soul mate is found again." She grinned at the idea.

"Comets it is!" She cheered, downing her cup.

"You know I met Blueberry?" I ask, returning to teasing her for the rest of the night. Erza-nee seriously can't hold her liqour.

Everyone from Fairy Tail was huddle together into one massive circle in front of the guild. They was whispering among each other.

"I'm taking bets!" I heard Cana shout as I got closer to the group. This must be where Natsu and Erza-nee are going to fight. Shouldn't they do it outside of town though?

"Erza, obviously!"

"Two hundred on Erza!" Everybody started shouting their bets for Erza-nee. Not even one bet on Natsu, yet. I kept pushing people out of my way, till I got to the center.

"Hey Lucy!" Gray greeted.

"Hey Lu!" Levy greeted. "It's a nice day out for this, huh?" I nodded in agreement.

"Who do you think is going to win?" Gray asks. "I think Flamebrain is asking for a death wish." His tone was smug, yet I saw the concern in his eyes.

"I agree. I don't understand why Natsu had asked to do this." Levy commented. I could only shrug.

"I think Natsu has a chance." I stated honestly. The entire group went quiet. I looked around, even Natsu and Erza-nee looked at me in shock. "Why is everyone staring at me like that?"

"Willing to put your jewels where your mouth is?" Cana held out a bowl with a smug look on her face. "Or is the alcohol still talking?" Of course, she would know we were drinking last night.

"What's the highest bid so far?" She crunches her brows together. Everyone else shared the same look.

"Five hundred jewels. Why?" She asks. I smirked as I equipped a bag filled with jewels into the bowl. "How much is in there?"

"A thousand." I replied sweetly. I looked over to Natsu who still looked shocked.

"Do you realize how much money that would be if I lost?" He asks. I smirked at him.

"Do you know how much food I can buy when you win?" A thousand mega watt grin appears on his face. I guess even he needs encouragement every once in a while. Happy flew over to me. I instantly held him to my chest and start petting him.

"Fish too! Right, Lushi?" I giggle at him.

"Yes Happy. I will give you your fix, you little addict." I tease. Happy only grinned at me before turning towards Natsu.

"Natsu! You better win! I want fish!" He cheers. Natsu chuckles at him before grinning confidently.

"Of course!" His confidence was back at full swing.

"Why do you think Natsu will win?" Levy asks. "Do you know something we dont?" I only turn to her to wink at her. She only raises a brow to me, as does everyone else. Everybody was back to whispering. This time now it was about the possibility of Natsu winning.

"It's about time to get this over with, don't you think?" Erza-nee asks Natsu, who only took his signature battle stance. Erza-nee did the same as the entire crowd silenced in anticipation. They charge at each other simultaneously, going at each other using hand to hand combat only. After a couple of minutes, neither one of them could land a hit. They was evenly matched. They both took a few steps back. Erza-nee equips into a two piece armour set, covered in a flame pattern, her sword also in flames. Natsu just lit his hand on fire.

"Hault!!!"

Shit. They would have to ruin this.

Everyone, including Erza-nee and Natsu, pause, turning to the source of the voice outside of the crowd. My nose starts tingling, readying for a sneeze. Fuck me.

"By the order of the Magic Council--"

"Achhoo!" Why did Papa have to pass down his loud sneezes? Everyone turns to look at me, even the frog humanoid messenger. His eyes grew wide as his skin pales.

"Ghost!!!" He squealed, turning around, running away from us. I roll my eyes dramatically.

"What does he mean by 'ghost'?" Elfman asks. I sigh deeply and loudly, already annoyed with the situation.

"Technically, I suppose to be dead. I can't believe they fell for it," I groan "like six times." I took a deep breath "Oh well." I answer, already walking away from the group.

"Where are you going, Lu?"

"To figure out what he wants." I stated, now running once I got to the groups edge. I ran down a few blocks, to the park, spotting him immediately. Messengers were not one of endurance. I skid in front of him, waving my hand in front of his face, putting him to sleep. I caught him, before he hit the ground. He sure is heavier than he appears. I drag him over to the bench, not too far away from us. As I place him on his side, the scroll fell out of his hands. I hear a decent size group of people running up to me as I pick up the scroll.

"Luce!"

"Did you seriously knock out a messenger of the Magic Council?" I look at Erza-nee with a raised brow as they came to a stop before me. Ain't it obvious. Ignoring their questioning looks, I read the scroll.

"He's here to arrest Erza-nee, for the destruction of the Master's meeting house in clover town."

"What?! Hell no! We helped save them! Don't they care about that?!" Natsu screams. I shook my head.

"No, not really. They have to put the blame on someone. Since I'm still not a guild member nor am I very well known, they couldn't arrest me. So they went with Erza-nee. They'll just put her in jail over night just to remind the other guilds who is in charge, there's a consequence to your actions, blah blah blah bullshit. I wouldn't really worry about it too much." I explain, tossing the scroll somewhere behind me. They all just tilt their heads at me.

"What makes you say that?" Gray asks. I smirk at them.

"Because if it lasts any longer than that, I'll just break her out then give them hell, and they know it." Their expressions didn't change.

"How would you do that?" Levy asks.

"The same way I broke out."

"You was imprisoned?" Mira asks.

"Something about being untrustworthy or something. I don't know. I wasn't really listening." I shrug. Natsu and Happy seem to be the only ones that wasn't confused.

"I'll let it be on one condition." Natsu offers. I raise a brow at him.

"You're on a roll with all your conditions, aren't ya?" I tease. He rolls his eyes in response before grinning.

"Be my partner!" I raise a brow at him.

"So it's either, you and Erza-nee go to jail for three or four days or I be your partner?" I ask. He just nods enthusiastically. He is being ridiculous but that is Natsu for ya.

"You don't have to be Pyro's partner. I honestly think a couple days in jail might be good for him." Gray teases. Natsu turns and glares at him.

"What was that Ice Prick? You wanna fight?!" Natsu yells at him.

"Any time, any where, squinty eyes!" Gray challenges.

"Let's go then, droopy eyes!" They was butting heads at this point. I couldn't help but laugh at their antics. Those two sure had their moments.

"Alright, alright." I breathe after my laughter. Natsu pauses and turns at me with hopeful eyes.

"You mean it, Luce?"

"Yeah." He smirks while holding out his fist. I fist bump, slammed it on top, finishing off with a diagonal high five.

"Let's go fishing to celebrate!" Happy cheers.

"I'll race ya there!" Natsu yells before he starts running. I couldn't stop myself from rolling my eyes.

"That's cheating!!" Happy cries, flying after Natsu.

"I don't even know where we're going!" I shouted while chasing after him. Something deep down inside my chest told me that this is exactly where I want to be.
