Hiruzen was stressed, because what occurred three weeks ago shook Konoha's core. The village knew the truth about Naruto's heritage, Naruto was no longer a jinchuuriki and Minato was somewhere out there with Naruto. No one saw the two nor Anko and Yugao. Right now, he was in yet another meeting about the Namikaze whereabouts. "Hiruzen, are you paying attention?" Danzo asked.
"For the last time, it's Hokage-sama. And I don't have to. We all know what this is about." Hiruzen responded. "You worried about what's going on with Naruto-kun but I still have no info."
"What we need to worry about is a plan just in case Namikaze-sama decides to leave." Koharu said.
"Oh, so it's Namikaze-sama now?" Tsume said. "We all know you elders knew about his heritage but were still treating him like crap but now you are trying to play it off."
"That's funny coming from you." Homura responded. "I know how your daughter treated the boy. So don't play innocent." Homura said, making Tsume flinch. Tsume was worried for Hana, she isolated herself because she felt like she betrayed her sensei son. She barely ate and wouldn't talk to anyone.
"Well, who's fault is that? If you bag of bones didn't spread rumors and actually told us that he was the son of Minato and Kushina, we would've approached him but no. You prevented him from having a family and tried to hurt him while I never laid a finger on him." Tsume said, making the elders seethed. "All because you wanted to turn him into a weapon. You ignored his humanity because of his power and fear. I was wary, I'll admit it but you three were manipulative assholes with your own objective." Tsume said, making the clan heads agree.
"Enough, we're all to blame." Hiruzen yelled.
"All except Mebuki-san." Minato said, appearing in the middle of the room. "Greeting Konoha's council."
"Yondaime-sama." the council mumbled.
"How's Naruto-san?" Inoichi asked.
Minato turned to him with a cold look. "Why do you ask? It almost sounds like you care." Minato said in an icy tone, making everyone flinch.
"We do care." Chouza said but backed down when Minato turned to him.
"Really? You realize I'm dead and even though I was in the shinigami stomach, I witnessed everything this village did to my son. While the clan heads children besides Tsume didn't harm him. You did tell them not to go near him and he's dangerous. Did you know his whole class looks at him as a freak? Shibi-san and Mebuki-san were the only ones who allowed their kids to befriend my son." Minato asked, making the clan heads look down in shame. "And let's talk about the Civilians council side. Kicking my son out of the orphanage, selling him rotten food, sabotaging his education and my favorite, hunting him every year on his birthday no matter how much he bled and cried." Minato said releasing ki.
"We're sorry." one of the merchants said.
"Shut it, I never asked for an apology." Minato said and turned to the elders. "You three are the worst of the bunch. Going against you leader, trying to Manipulate the council and use Root to threaten people to stay away from son." Minato said.
"What?" Hiruzen said. "I didn't know about this!" The elders flinched.
"I had to explain to my son why little Sakura was avoiding him. Danzo somehow found out and threatened the girl by saying he would kill her mother by using his root agents." Minato revealed, causing Mebuki to turn to the warhawk.
"You threaten my daughter by using me as leverage." Mebuki yelled at the warhawk. "I should kill you." Mebuki said, glaring at the one-eyed bastard. "Hokage-sama, why is this man even a part of the council? We are supposed to work together to help Konoha grow, not sacrifice lives for one gain."
"It was for the good of-" "yourself." Minato cutoff the warhawk. "You keep using that line to manipulate others to gain what you want. You're full of crap Danzo and now longer am I going to allow you to get what you want." Minato said, snapping his fingers. Soon there was rumbles throughout the village and after around 20 seconds, it died down. "There, I blew up all your root bases." Minato said with a victorious smirk.
Danzo gasped and gripped his cane in anger. "How could you do that?"
"Because it was for the good of the village." Minato mocked. "Root answers to you, not the hokage. So I got rid of them. If anyone wants to work in the shadows, they should join Anbu. you lucky I don't kill you now." Danzo was seething but didn't say anything. Without his root, he couldn't control the village how he desired.
"Now as to why I'm here. Anbu!" Minato called, one of the Anbu jumped out the shadow and bowed before Minato. "Bring me Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga." the Anbu nodded and disappeared.
Hiashi was confused. "Why are you summoning my daughter?" Hiashi asked.
"To become friends with my son. Unlike the others, I know you forced your daughter to not associate with him and she was hurt by it, it wouldn't be fair for her to not give her a chance. Also, I would love to train three new students." Minato said, making everyone's eyes widen.
"Are you saying you'll train my little girl?" Mebuki asked.
"Yeah, her, Hinata and my son are my students." Minato said. Sakura and Hinata walked in, one was confused and the other was nervous.
"Umm, good evening Minato-sama." Sakura said with a bow, followed by Hinata.
"Good evening, Sakura-san, Hinata-san. I would love for you two to become students alongside Naruto-kun." Minato offered, earning a gasp from the girls. "As long as your parents are ok with it."
"I would be honored." Mebuki said.
"As will I, hopefully my daughter will grow from this." Hiashi said.
"Great, now Hinata-san and Sakura-san. Come towards me and we'll go." The girls walked towards Minato and he grabbed their shoulders. "Just to give you a heads up. You might not see me again." Minato told the council.
"Sensei!" Minato turned his head to see Kakashi in his anbu mask, bowing. "Please let me come with you, I'd like to help train your son for my mistake."
"You might have that chance in the future but for now, I think it's better for everyone to keep their distance from my son. Besides, Yugao-san and Anko-san are there to help me if need be." Minato said, teleporting him and the girls to Naruto's location.
"Hokage-sama, what is your plan? If Minato is training him alongside the girls, who knows how strong they'll become." Homura said.
"We need to make sure we get on his good side and he stays in the village." Koharu added in.
"Don't you think I know that? But let me ask you this, would you forgive someone if the laughed at you, torture you your entire life and almost killed you?" Hiruzen asked, making everyone quiet. "I thought so."
"I'm willing to try." Tsume said.
"Same here." Inoichi added in. Everyone agreed but Hiruzen wasn't sure.
"Good luck, the meeting is dismissed." Hiruzen said.
Minato transported the girls to his secret estate training ground where Naruto was sparring with Yugao in a kenjutsu match. "Naruto-kun!" both girls called, gaining the blonde boy's attention.
"Sakura-chan, Hinata?" Naruto called, wondering why they were here.
Sakura tackled the boy. "Naruto-kun, I'm sorry I ignored you."
"It's ok, I was told what happened. The council threatened to kill your parents if you associated with me." Naruto said and turned to Hinata with a confused look. "Although, I don't know why you're here."
Hinata looked nervous and didn't know what to say. "She's here because she always wanted to be your friend." Minato said. "Her Father threatened her. If she is associated with you and trust me, he's nor a man you want to cross unless you have skills to back it up. I want you to give her a chance."
Naruto looked at his dad and back at Hinata. "Sure, I'll be your friend. You were never mean to me anyway."
Hinata gave Naruto a bright smile and nodded. "Thanks Naruto-kun." Hinata said.
"Great, now that you three are done. It's time for your training. Naru-chan, you will learn my taijutsu style and we'll see what your affinity is. Sakura-chan and Hinata-chan, we'll work on your speed and taijutsu, and add some ninjutsu to the field as well. But I want you two to decide what to learn between fuinjutsu, kenjutsu and iryojutsu." Minato said. "While learning the standard three jutsu types is good, you need something outside the field. Especially you Sakura-chan, since you are not from a clan of bloodlines." Minato said before turning to his son. "Naru-chan, I want you to help Hinata with her confidence." Hinata blushed and made a eep noise.
"Really? How am I supposed to do that?" Naruto asked.
"I can help." Anko said, appearing out of nowhere. She walked over to the blonde and whispered something in his ear. Minato knew the plan and was going to try and stay strong. Not laughing at the Hyuga heiress for what Naruto was going to do. Naruto looked confused and shrugged his shoulders before approaching the shy girl.
Naruto grabbed her hands in his, making her blush. "Thanks for being my friend, Hinata-chan." Naruto said before pulling the girl into his arms and hugging her, making Hinata's face turn red and she passed out. "What happened?"
Minato, Anko and Sakura laughed at the poor girl and Naruto's confusion. "Alright, Anko and Yugao. Come out here." the two kunoichi appeared and kneeled. "Anko, I'm going to continue your training from where the traitor left off. By the time I'm done with you, you'll make Kakashi look like a toothpick. Yugao, you could use a little more ninjutsu and strengthen your knowledge on fuinjutsu. When you're done, I want either you or Anko to become these three sensei' Anko, I'll assign missions from the village and place a seal on your tongue to prevent anyone from finding us. Yugao already has one and while we're training, Naruto-kun and I will find a way to remove your curse-mark."
Anko had hope and nodded slowly. "Thank you sir." Minato nodded. "Also, I'm going to have you learn my taijutsu style and a new weapon."
"Thank you sir, I'm honored." Anko replied.
"When the genin exam starts and you head back to the village, everyone will most likely try to get close to you. I'm not going to forbid you from making friends or be mad if you ignore them. Also Naruto, there's something I have to tell you about your mother."
Three years later, Konoha was as worried as ever. Ever since the revelation, the village was keeping an eye out for their hero and his son but he hasn't shown up. They had hope a year ago when Anko and Yugao appeared to turn in mission completion forms. Hiruzen tried to get information out of them but when he saw the seal on their tongue, he was hurt that Minato didn't trust him. But they weren't the only ones who tried.
Flashback:
Yugao walked out the tower and was about to use the transportation jutsu when she sensed someone behind her. She turned around and narrowed her eyes. "Hatake, what do you want?"
Kakashi was standing there, with a weak eye-smile. "Captain, I want you to take me to sensei and his son."
"I told you about the seal on my tongue." Yugao said.
"It prevents you from telling us where he is, not taking us." Kakashi said, making Yugao click her teeth. "Please, I made mistakes."
"I'm surprised you would want to be around 'it'." Yugao said with the emphasis on the last word. Kakashi felt his heart stung at the words.
"I'm.." "Don't bother, just like the villagers. You let your emotions control you and you hid things from me. You think I would tell you anything, you're wrong." Yugao said before disappearing. Kakashi just slowly walked to the bar, trying to think of a way to see his sensei and his son. He would not give up.
Flashback end:
Hiruzen was doing some paperwork when he heard a lot of noise coming from the village. He looked outside and saw Minato and Naruto walking towards the academy alongside Sakura and Hinata. Hiruzen got up and jumped out the window, hoping to talk to his fellow kage.
Minato was escorting Naruto and the girl to the Academy since his time on earth was almost up. They stood in front of the academy and Naruto was facing his father. "Thanks for everything dad, I'll miss you."
Minato bent down and hugged the blonde. "Same, in a weird way. I'm glad that the villagers allowed me to meet you, but my time is up. Remember, whatever choice you make, I'll support you 110%." Minato looked at his hand and saw himself becoming intangible.
"Minato!" Minato turned to see Hiruzen, eye becoming cold.
"What do you want?" Minato asked in an icy tone.
"I want to make amends." Hiruzen said. "I realize I let the council control me and get away with a lot. I broke my promise to your son and you. Is there anything I can do?"
"Well, you could allow Naruto-kun to participate in the graduation class, I know he qualifies." Minato said. "It will be a small start but it's more than you ever did for my son."
Hiruzen nodded. "It will be done." Minato turned back to Naruto and hugged him once more.
"Good bye my son and I'll always be watching." Minato said before disappearing.
"Bye…dad." Naruto said as Sakura and Hinata hugged the boy. Hiruzen looked sad at the bow and put on a smile.
"Cheer up Naruto-kun, how about after your team listing, we go out for ramen?" Hiruzen asked.
"No thanks, I have to head to class. I'll see you later, hokage-sama." Naruto said as the three walked in the academy. Hiruzen was heartbroken, his supposed surrogate grandson calling him by his title instead of jiji pretty much told him the distance that was between them. He headed back to the tower to see who team the genin would be on.
Naruto and the two girls were the first to arrive and saw Iruka at his desk. "Hey Iruka-sensei." Naruto said with a calm tone. Iruka turned and his eyes widened.
"Naruto, Sakura, Hinata…you're back."
"Yeah, we have permission to take part in the graduation class." Naruto gave Iruka his slip of paper. "As you can see, we can do the clone jutsu, transformation and substitution jutsu."
"Of course, you were a part of the class anyway. It's good to see you three again." Iruka said but the three just went to the back of the room. Soon more students started to come in one by one. When Kiba walked in and eye Hinata, he gained a smirk, approaching the girl.
"Hey Hinata, long time no see. You look lovely today." Kiba said, barely drooling. Hinata was wearing a lavender jacket and a skirt to match with stockings, Hinata hair was to her back. Sakura was wearing a red open vest with a black shirt under and a red skirt, with her hair in a twist over her shoulder. Naruto was wearing a jacket that looked like Minato's haori but instead of red flames, he's black. He also had black cargo pants.
"Please don't talk to me." Hinata said in a calm tone.
"Come on, you can't resist a guy like me." Kiba said, putting his arm around Hinata but when it got close, Hinata jabbed his arm, making it go limp.
"Don't touch me, I don't want to associate with you or your family." Hinata said, sending Kiba a cold glare. Kiba backed up and went to another seat. Sasuke walked in and when he saw Naruto, his eyes widened. He was curious about how Naruto felt about the village. Would he seek revenge or would he forgive them? Naruto's eyes met his, Naruto saw hatred and Sasuke just saw a calm void. It angered him because it reminded him of his brother.
"Sasuke-kun, are you excited for team placements?" Ino said before noticing Sasuke's gaze. She followed and her eyes widened when she saw Naruto. "Naruto has a back and forehead." Ino said before walking up to the three. "Hey guys, it's nice seeing you three again."
"Same to you, pig. You're still chasing the Uchiha?" Sakura asked.
"Of course, why aren't you?" Ino asked. "Oh? Is it because of the hunk here? Got to say, Naruto. You look amazing."
"Thanks." Naruto said with his eyes closed.
Ino blushed a bit, she thought the calm personality was cool and now she had another target for her affection. "Would you like to hangout after class?"
"Now interested, sorry Ino." Naruto said. Ino frowned and sat behind him. 'I'm not giving up.'
Hiruzen was looking through the crystal ball, eyeing Naruto. He saw how distant he was from the other students and was worried. He was now an unknown factor alongside Sakura and Hinata. Unknown in thoughts, unknown in strength and unknown in intentions. "Alright, we all know why we're here. It's time to choose your students for your new team. Who would like to go first?"
"I will." Anko said, stepping forward. "I want Naruto Namikaze, Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga." Anko said with no surprise from Hiruzen.
"And why should I allow this?" Hiruzen asked.
"Because I'm the only one who knows what those three are capable of, I know their strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, I'm the one Naruto trusts." Anko said. Hruzen sighed in sadness, he knew this was true and the boy would only listen to Anko.
"May I interject?" Hiruzen turned to Kakashi. "I would like Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke on my team."
"Have you lost your mind?" Anko asked, glaring at the cyclopes. "You of all people should know what will happen if Naruto is placed on your team or did you forget what you did. Sorry, should I say 'didn't do'? Another thing you should know is that Naruto has a disdain for Uchiha's. I'm the only one he'll listen to."
"And that's precisely the point." Kakashi said. "If we want the blonde to be loyal to the village, he has to bond with others. I added Sakura because he needed someone he's comfortable with and since Kurenai wants Hinata, I choose Sakura." Kakashi explained.
Hiruzen nodded and saw the point in this, although the boy would only listen to Anko. His circle of friends needed to be bigger. "I see… I approve." The moment those words left his mouth, the room got heavier. Everyone fell to their knees and looked at the source.
"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS. YOU PUTTING HIM ON THE TEAM OF THE MAN WHO LET HIM GET ATTACKED WHEN HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE PROTECTING HIM." Anko yelled. Hiruzen raised his ki but to his shock, Anko matched it and hers was still growing.
'What did Minato teach her?' the oldman asked. "Anko calm down. I understand you're angry but Kakashi has been regretting what he's done in the past. You have to choose someone else. I'm your leader and you'll obey."
Anko scoffed before turning around and walking to the door. "I'm only loyal to Naruto and I'm not interested anymore."
"Anko, with your skills. You can train a new group of infiltrators and demolitionists." Hiruzen said. He needed to make Anko happy, because if Anko is not happy. Naruto is unhappy and he wanted to be in the blondes' good grace.
"Not interested." Anko said, leaning on the door.
"Becareful Anko, if you let your emotions control you. You could activate the curse mark." Kurenai said in concern but only got a glare from Anko.
"That shit been gone for a year now." Anko said, showing her neck. Hiruzen pipe dropped out his mouth. "Why do you look surprised? I was with the greatest seal master ever."
"Umm yes, well the rest of you choose your teams and we'll proceed." Hiruzen instructed and turned to her, seeing her give him an ice cold look. After everyone else chose their teams, the jonin proceeded out of the room. "Anko, stay."
Anko stopped and turned to the village leader. "Yes, hokage-sama."
"Anko, I know you're mad but you have to understand. A Lot of people want to make amends to Naruto and we need him to open up to others." Hiruzen explained.
"And by doing that, you put him on the team with the people he hates the most." Anko added.
"If you were his sensei, you would've kept him from everyone." Hiruzen said.
"Of course I would because his happiness means everything to me. When he finds out what you did, you'll be at the bottom of his shit list." Anko said before turning around. "I warned you but since you think this is the solution. All I can tell you is this, Naruto will never forgive this village." Hiruzen looked down in sadness. Anko left the building and saw Kurenai waiting for her.
"Great, more headaches."
"Anko, how about we get a drink before-"
"Not interested." Anko said, walking past Kurenai.
"Please, I'm sorry for being foolish and letting my anger get to me. Can we just go back to being friends?" Kurenai begged.
"When Foxy-kun forgives you." Anko said, walking to a bar. Kurenai just stared at her friend as she walked away.
"I really fucked up. I guess I should go and meet Hana." Kurenai said and headed to the usual meet up place.
"Alright class, it's time for the team listing. I'll call your name and inform you of your team and sensei." Iruka said as he started from team one to six. "Team 7 will be Sakura Haruno, Naruto Namikaze." Sakura and Naruto looked at each other with a warm smile before turning to Hinata, expecting her name to be called. "And Sasuke Uchiha."
"WHAT!" Sakura and Naruto yelled at the same time, flaring their chakra on accident. Hinata's eyes were calm but she was leaking ki, causing some students to back away from the heiress.
"Calm down." Iruka said, still startled by the chakra burst. "Your sensei is Kakashi Hatake." Soon the room was filled with ki and the floor started to crack under Naruto's feet.
"Damn you oldman." Naruto said as his eyes started to glow with chakra. Some of the weaker students passed out and the others struggled to stand. Iruka was looking fearful at the blonde. He knew then and there that Naruto was stronger than him. He felt a pair of arms wrapped around him and turned to see Sakura and Hinata hugging him. He breathed in and out, then turned to Iruka. "Sorry, I have a small temper."
"Y-yeah, it's fine. Anyway, Team 8 will consist of Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga." Hinata looked at Shino, both nodded in respect for each other. "And Kiba Inuzuka. Your sensei will be Kurenai Yuhi." The pressure returned but this time it came from Hinata. She heard what Kurenai did to Naruto and being on a team with Kiba was even worse. Naruto turned Hinata's face to his and pecked her on the lips, Hinata turned red and passed out with hearts in her eyes. I
Sasuke was looking at the two with astonishment. 'How can they do that? I need to be strong and if Sakura was with them for the last few years, she might be as strong.' after announcing the Ino-Shika-Cho team. The new genin just waited for their sensei to come. The first one to come was a beautiful raven haired, crimson eye beauty. When Naruto saw her, his eyes turned cold.
Kurenai's eyes met his and flinched at his gaze. 'I have to try.' "Team 8 with me and Naruto-kun, may you come here?"
'Should've seen this coming.' Naruto thought before getting up alongside Hinata and approaching the jonin Hinata headed towards the outside doors after giving Naruto a hug. Naruto turned to Kurenai with anger. "Let me guess, I'm not allowed here too?"
Kurenai felt something drop in her stomach. "I'm sorry, I honestly never thought of you as the kyuubi. I just wanted to make sure the same thing that happened to my father didn't happen to Anko. to see my father crushed in front of my eyes. I just want Anko to be safe." Kurenai said before getting on her knees and bowing. "With that said, I want to say sorry."
Naruto now understood why she hated him and he was stuck. Unlike most of the villagers, she really didn't attack him until he was around Anko and she wanted to protect Anko. "look after Hinata-chan. I won't forgive you right away and to be honest I'm not sure I will but if you show so effort. Maybe I will."
"I understand and thank you." Kurenai said before getting up and walking to her team. Naruto walked back up to Sakura and sat next to him.
"Did you forgive her?" Sakura asked.
"No but she did need some closure. It wouldn't matter anyway since…"
"I know." Sakura said, thinking of the plan they made with Minato. When they find out that Uzu is finished building, they would leave. After everyone left, team 7 was the only ones who were there. Sasuke just sat there while Sakura and Naruto were going over element theories. Naruto sensed someone approaching and turned to the door. When he saw silver hair, his anger came back.
"Team 7? My first impression…you seem boring." Kakashi said. Sasuke's eyes twitched, while the other two just glared at the man. Kakashi sighed. "Meet me on the roof." Kakashi said before disappearing. Sasuke got up and walked out of the class, unknowing to him that his two teammates were already gone.
When Kakashi arrived on the roof, he was shocked to see Naruto and Sakura on the roof before him. Sasuke walked out the room door and was surprised to see the two. 'How did they make it here before me?
"Alright, you three take a seat and let's introduce ourselves."Kakashi said. The three were quiet and waited. "Well?"
"You go first." Sakura said.
"Fine, mine is Kakashi Hatake, I have a lot of likes. Not many dislikes…my dreams, don't feel like telling you." Kakashi said.
Naruto narrowed his eyes and went next. "My name is Naruto Namikaze." Naruto said.
"And..?" Kakashi responded.
"That's all you get and deserve." Naruto responded, making Kakashi feel guilty. He expected this from the blonde.
"You go next pinky." Kakashi said.
"Sakura Haruno, not pinky. And the only thing you should know is that if you hurt Naruto-kun, you get hurt." Sakura said. Sasuke went next with his revenge goal and Kakashi was getting worried.
'I have a revenge obsessed Uchi and my other two students hate me. I knew this was going to be hard.' Kakashi thought as he flinched from the cold glare he was receiving from the blonde. "Now I would like to inform you, you are not genin yet." Kakashi started but got no response. "You have to pass a test, meet me tomorrow morning at 6 am and don't eat or you'll puke." Kakashi said before shinshun away.
"Let's go find Anko-chan." Naruto said as he and Sakura jumped off the roof. Sasuke juststared at the spot they were at.
"At least they won't hold me back." Sasuke said and walked off.
Kakashi walked into the hokage office and the man was reading Icha Icha. "Sir, I'm here to report."
Hiruzen looked up from his book and leaned on his hand. "What's the update?"
"Well to put it simply, Naruto hates me and if looks could kill, I would be dead. When I walked in the room, his eyes were cold. And when we introduced ourselves, he only told me his name and said that's all I deserve. Sakura threatened to end whoever hurts Naruto and Sasuke's still obsessed with his brother. The only good thing is that Naruto and Sakura would work together but I'm not sure how to go about this."
"This is a problem but this is just the first day. Keep trying and don't give up. The chances are not zero and he could forgive you. Now is there anything else?"
"Yes, Minato-sensei trained Naruto and Sakura well. When I walked in the room, I couldn't sense them. And when we arrived at the roof, they got there before me when I left first. I'm scared because I know sensei's a great teacher and I don't know what he taught them. "
"I see, with only a few years to train his son. Minato could have taught him anything. I believe he's around chunin and we can't provoke him. Remember what kami said, he can summon the fox if angered. So try to get on his goodside. (not happening.)"
"Hai, I'll do my best." Kakashi said before leaving.
"So what's the plan?" Anko asked Sakura and Naruto. They were at Ichiraku's since they haven't been there in years. Ayame was upset that she didn't see her favorite blonde but after promising her a date, she forgave him much to Anko's amusement. They were currently discussing what they should do on Kakashi's test because they wanted to hide some of their skills.
"Well, we know it's a teamwork exercise. So the Uchiha might not work with us and we can give up. Regardless of the outcome, the council is going to want me and Sasuke to pass." Naruto said. "But if we want to get the bells, Sakura-chan can use that jutsu while I distract him.
"Good idea, Naruto-kun. What did you think about the team's decision?" Anko asked, still angry over the fact that she couldn't be Naruto's sensei.
"Trying to get us to bond with others and separating Hinata from us is smart on their part but also ignorant. Kurenai wants to improve her relationship with you and Hinata." Naruto said.
"I know, she invited me to hangout with her and Hana. I said no and I'm pretty sure Yugao got invited."
"And I declined." Yugao said, walking in. "I knew you would be here since I didn't see you at the dango shop. So Naruto-kun, how's being back in the village."
Naruto sighed and shook his head. "I want to be happy and forgive the village but I still remember their faces when they saw me being tortured. They enjoyed seeing me in pain and it disgusted me."
"Naruto-koi." Yugao spoke in a loving tone. "It's ok to hate them but as long as you don't act out the hatred, you'll always be a better person." Naruto nodded and whispered a question."
"How long until kaa-chan is ready?" Naruto asked Yugao.
"By the time the chunin exam is here. She's helping Kiri in the war and trying to establish a relationship with other villages. She'll come for us soon." Yugao said. Naruto nodded.
"I guess we just have to wait." Naruto said.
Hana walked back home from a rescue mission, exhausted. She met up with Kurenai and when she told her that neither Anko nor Yugao wanted to hangout with them, hurt her. They were sisters and now they were split but she couldn't blame them. She should've seen the resemblance between Naruto and her sensei. "Hana? Is that you?"
Hana walked into the dining room and saw her mom drinking some wine. "Hey kaa-chan."
"Let me guess, are your friends still ignoring you?" Tsume said.
"Yeah, not that I can blame them. Our intentions were good but I was a fool." Hana said, rubbing her arm.
"I was the same, I told Kiba not to hangout with him and from what the pup told me, he doesn't want to be friends with anyone but the two girls and Shino-san." Tsume said, taking another sip.
"He's here?"
"Yeah, he's in a complicated situation. It seems Hinata-san doesn't want anything to do with him and when he tried to be pushy, she threatened to remove his treasure." Tsume said.
"What are we going to do, kaa-chan?" Hana asked in sadness. "I want to make it up to Naruto-kun and Kushina-sensei."
"We all do." Tsume said, feeling like she betrayed her friend.
"Namikaze-sama, why don't you come here? We have discounts." "Good morning, Namikaze-sama." "Are you hungry, Namikaze-sama." Naruto was walking home with Sakura and this is what he was hearing as he walked through the village. The villagers were trying to kiss up to him like they haven't done anything and Naruto was getting angry.
"This is getting annoying." Naruto said as a anbu appeared in front of him. "What now?"
"You're being summoned to the council chamber, Namikaze-sama." the female anbu said.
"Damn, what do they want now, not that I didn't expect this." Naruto said and looked at the anbu. "Fine but Sakura-chan is coming with me for stress control, if you're ok with that Sakura-chan."
"Sure Naruto-kun, I'm here for you and we can't have you blowing up in front of the council yet." Sakura jokes. The anbu nodded and proceeded to put his hand on their shoulder but Naruto swatted his hand away.
"We'll walk, so don't worry about us." Naruto said.
"I don't blame you and just to let you know, I was one of the ones who protected you." the anbu said before leaning forward and whispering in his ear. "My name is Izumi and I have something important to give me after the meeting." Izumi said before disappearing.
Naruto stood there and smiled warmly. "She wasn't lying, Izumi. I need to see her later on."
