Some systems have one star such is the one that the planet Earth resides in, others have two and sometimes even three, and perhaps there is even some with more. The system that the metallic planet known as Cybertron called home had two. Between sun rise and sun set, the inhabitance of Cybertron collected the light turning it into the most important thing, Energon. Naturally, the creator thought it through and figured that for his creations this would be the most appropriate thing after applying the semi solar stations, he created a race of sentient robots instilling the knowledge to them to create others, then he himself went to sleep.
One question is though how long does a god rest? So far no one knows the answer, but his race of sentient begins began a civilization. Working for the most part they developed in many aspects, Science, Technology, Construction, are a few that took off with rapid speed. It seemed like quite a prosperous time, and then they landed. Huge ships came invading the planet, something that the robots had never dreamed of. These new five faced creatures came forth, and took the reigns of the robots using them at will to do their bidding.
The robots were awestruck, they hadn't had a plan for defense, nor had they many weapons to fight against them. Despite that they knew too well what was going on, slavery, segregation, and bartered to other planets and their races. This was intolerable, and something was going to have to be done.
As part of the advancements brought by the Five Faced Masters, the robots technology on inner circuitry advanced at a rapid pace. The Masters wanted them to be able to behave, and do as told thus modifications to their meda-processor. This caused the robots to take on more singular persona, as well as a broader creative passion. Some damage was already done however; the Masters had changed some of the robots into war machines, given them instincts to fight, while the others were simple house hold help.
The Hardware, as the Masters called them, were retooled made into war type fiends with domination ingrained into their sub programming. While the others or consumer goods were simply processed as slaves. So different the two where they had become separate races. On top of that the Masters created Vector Sigma, the super computer that would bring new robots to life; this effort was done to meet the mass demand for the sale of both the hardware and consumer goods. They did know however that they would have to work together to rid themselves of the Masters. The hardware knew they would take the brunt of the casualties using their fighting abilities to counter the Masters, mean while the consumer goods would steal secrets, and hide explosives within them selves to set off in the Masters Command centers. Though extremely bloody this little war did not last long and the robots chased the Masters off world.
At this time there began now what is called the golden age, empowered by the old masters science and technology both raced. But there was a dark side to it. The Hardware were well aware of their abilities to overpower Autobots even though the consumer goods were the ruling body in this newly formed monarchy. Lovers of peace by nature the Autobots didn't take kindly to the things the hardware found recreational, specifically their gladiator battles. This caused the hardware to pull together and begin their own government in the state of Kaon, with Dark Mount as their capital. Still the consumer goods passed more laws forcing the hardware to take their games under ground. In the senate, the hardware had but two voices one from the elected hardware and one from the hardware high achy itself.
Consumer goods government was very easily done; each city state had a councilman on the board then at the head of the board was the Prime, keeper of the leadership matrix. Hardware was less sophisticated. There was one dominate lead who took the position by force, and one councilmen that was elected, or usually appointed by the dominate leader. Little did the Consumer goods know not how that was determined. On the out side it would appear that it was done by vote, but at the heart of it there was no such thing. Those that were top ranked in the games, the most lethal, took seats in the office. Names were only designations, a few numbers, and maybe a letter or two. Many took on names that portrayed their abilities. Fervent, was not one of those. He wanted something that meant power and strength. He was the first to take his abilities and manipulate them to gain more power. His was the first name that graced the hall of the Gladiatorial Stadium. And he was the first of the hardware that sat on the council recognized as the leader of the Hardware, truth be told he had extinguished the spark of the one that had led the rebellion, the commander that sat in the chair and pointed a long finger at the battle while he went out and make it happen. His view of that was contorted when he felt that his own quick action and changes in plans gave him the advantage. He began to distain his leader and vowed to take the leadership for himself. It didn't take long once he was called into a meeting, it was semiprivate the only one that was there was
