It had been a very much talked about event across parts of the world, that being the T-Virus Outbreak in Raccoon City.
A simple mid-western town plagued by a virus that turned its inhabitants into zombies and all other types of monsters.
It started in Arklay Mountains where Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine uncovered a sinister plot from their former Captain Albert Wesker, and along with Daisy Johnson, better known as Quake, they were able to help their allies in S.T.A.R.S. and escape in one piece.
Unforutnatly destruction followed a few months later when the T-Virus spread throughout the entirety of Raccoon City.
Out of the thousands in the town, only a handful had survived, thanks to some clever survival tactics of some, as well as several heroic actions from others.
Pro Heroes such as Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff, better known respectively as Hawkeye and Black Widow were two such heroes. They were only members of the Avengers in town, and working together, they were to rescue some survivors and bring them out of the city.
The two however ran into RPD Rookie Leon Kennedy, as well as Chris Redfield's younger sister, Claire. They had worked together to stop the mutated scientist William Birkin and escaped Raccoon City with his daughter, Sherry.
While this was happening, Jill Valentine ran into another Pro Hero, or rather one in training. That being Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man.
Together along with UBCS member Carlos Oliviera, as well as two of Peter's friends, Equestrian Farmer Applejack and X-Men member Remy Lebeau, better known as Gambit, they were able to rescue civilians.
The task wasn't easy, especially with Umbrella's monster Nemesis running rampant around town, looking for members of S.T.A.R.S. to exterminate. They also had to deal with the traitorous Nicholai Ginovaef in the process.
Other notable survivors included a spy named Ada Wong, and a mercenary known simply as HUNK.
In addition, an ally of Albert Wesker was seen in town, one by the name of Sephiroth. Former SOLDIER of Shinra and the hero of the Wutai War. He had his own duty to fulfil, though after Raccoon City, he returned to midgar on a personal assignment, but paths may cross yet again.
In addition, there was also the Ecliptic Express incident involving Rebecca Chambers and former Lieutenant, Billy Coen. A train plagued by leeches ended in terror for many involved, but the two managed to persevere and escape their nightmare.
The consequences were everywhere, but the heroes were fighting back, both pro and otherwise.
Five years had passed by since that day in Raccoon City. Five years since the destruction. Five years since the city became nothing more than a memory.
In those five years, the end of Umbrella had been carefully plotted out, and soon, it would be time to finally put an end to all of the trouble that plagued the world.
Umbrella was clever however, able to shift part of the blame of the Raccoon City incident onto the American Government, dragging out legal proceedings. The destruction of Raccoon City helped to eliminate Umbrella's involvement.
In the cold, arctic landscape of Russia, a helicopter had landed in the distance, not too far away from Umbrella's main Headquarters.
Abord the Helicopter were the duo of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. The two had a goal, that was to put an end to Umbrella, once and for all.
They had heard about a new Bioweapon in the making, codenamed, Talos. They didn't know what it was exactly, but they were not going to let it see the light of day. It was up to them to save the world and keep it from falling into destruction.
They weren't alone, two pros had come to join them. The first was Quake. This was same woman who was around when all of this first started with Chris and Jill in the Arklay Mountains, the woman who helped them and many others survive.
The second pro was Spider-Man, here to help out his friend Jill. He promised her he would bring down Umbrella, and he's acting on that promise. He had to not just for her, but for the world, including his family that he swore to protect.
As they got close, the pilot noticed some Hunters running around, and was quick to dispose of them with some mounted turrets as Chris spoke out to everyone else.
"Alright, prepare for landing and stay on guard!" Chris ordered. "We can't afford any mistakes!"
"You got it Chris," Peter said. He looked out the window, the hero seeing layers of snow all across the Russian tundra. "Man, what a blizzard."
"How are you feeling, Spider-Man?" Jill asked.
"I'm fine, my suit keeps me resistant to the cold," Peter said, checking on his costume. "Plus, I've done crime fighting even in the winter. New York blizzards are nothing to sneeze at, unless you're sick, which given the weather, is very possible."
"This isn't exactly New York weather, Spider-Man," Daisy said. "Russia is a bit further up north. You know how cold it can get the closer we are to one of Earth's Two Poles."
"A little further up, and we might see Santa's Workshop," Peter joked. "Maybe I'll ask for a toy lightsaber, or a Batman cape and cowl."
"Are you serious!?" Daisy asked in disbelief. "Why are you talking about a Batman cape?"
"Because I already have a Superman cape, it was one of my earlier Christmas presents," Peter quipped.
Daisy turned her attention to Jill, "And you wanted him to come, because...?"
"Because Spider-Man has experience with B.O.W.s, and because I trust him," Jill said. "Don't let those jokes fool you, there's a reason your buddies Captain America and Iron Man see value in him."
"Stark I understand, Spider-Man has the same ego," Daisy said.
"Hey!" A displeased Peter shouted.
"Cap on the other hand, even I can't explain it," Daisy said.
"Remember Daisy, it's like Jill explained. Spider-Man has a lot of experience when it comes to fighting B.O.W.s," Chris said. "Besides, we asked your Avenger buddies to come, and they turned it down."
"Well to be fair, Umbrella isn't the only threat to this world," Daisy said. "Places like A.I.M. exist too."
"Then let's neutralize this corrupted company and give the world one less thing to worry about," Chris said, looking out the window. "Anyway, we're almost there, let's get ready."
"I'll be honest, when it comes to that Bioweapon Talos, I really hope it's just a rumor," Jill said.
"So do I," Chris said, preparing a rope. "But we can take whatever they throw at us."
"Hopefully not much, it's three in the morning, how many of them can be awake at this hour?" Peter asked. "Good thing I'm from New York, I'm used to early morning shifts."
"We're getting close!" A man said.
"Thanks Bronson, good luck with your part," Peter said.
"Appreciate that Spider-Man," Bronson said, rappelling down with his team.
"Alright, let's do this," Peter said.
Once in their drop off spot, Chris, Jill and Daisy rappelled down on their own rope while Peter used his webs to lower himself. It wasn't long before they were surrounded by zombies however.
"B.O.W.s straight ahead!" Jill warned, pulling her handgun out.
"Well that was fast," Peter said. "Must be quite the security system in this place."
"Take them out!" Chris said as he and Jill opened fire on the oncoming zombies.
Daisy blasted some zombies that were behind her team and was quick to look around the area, hoping to find a way for her team to proceed. "Chris, Jill, Spidey, up those stairs!"
"Good call, let's go!" Chris ordered.
Daisy used her abilities to whack the monsters away using some stalagmites while her team rushed up the stairs.
"Something tells me things are about to get so much more interesting," Chris said, keeping his gun aimed.
"They sure are! Dogs!" Peter warned as a pair of Cerebus canines showed up.
Chris and Jill each fired one shot to the heads of the animals, bringing them down instantly as the group continued along the path.
"Kind of hate seeing dogs get infected," Peter said. "They're man's best friend after all."
"It bothers me too, but we don't have a choice," Jill said.
"Chris, Jill. You two know where you're going, right?" Daisy asked, keeping a careful eye out.
"We did our research, but I will admit, the B.O.W.s might throw us off a little," Chris said.
"So long as we stay...watch out!" Peter quickly webbed an oncoming Cerebus against a wall, allowing Chris and Jill to finish it off.
"Keep moving, we'll get on track!" Jill said as everyone jumped down a ladder.
Up ahead, they spotted some zombies near a gate, trying to break in, but rather than go in that direction, the former S.T.A.R.S. led the heroes away.
"Down those stairs!" Chris ordered, everyone following him to a staircase in the opposite direction of the gate.
The group's radio began to go off, "Enemy sighted! Go!"
"Hey are those guys going to be alright?" Peter asked as they walked through an underground metal hall.
"I'm not sure, I hope they will be," Chris said, shooting a zombie that was up ahead.
Peter looked back, thoughts running through his head, "Well, maybe I should go and see, just to be safe."
"Spider-Man, we have a mission, I know you're worried but if you don't stay focused, the world itself could be in danger," Daisy said.
"I know, but..." Peter heard the radio going off again.
"Dammit! I'm out of ammo! I need...AGH! NOOO!" Suddenly there was nothing but static, much to Peter's worry.
"Hey! Are you alright!?" Peter asked, grabbing the radio and yelling into it. "Come in! Anyone!"
"They're probably already dead," Daisy pointed out.
"We just landed though! How could they already be dead!?" Peter asked in disbelief.
"Remember what Carlos said back in Raccoon City," Jill reminded. "Things got bad for his squad the moment they landed as well. I had hoped our men would be better prepared, but these B.O.W.s are hard to predict."
"Damn..." Peter lamented. Hearing good men in danger like this did not put his conscious at ease.
"Alright look, they may not even be dead, so we won't jump to any conclusions," Daisy said, hoping to deflate the situation.
"She's right. I know you're worried, I am too, but we still have a duty to fulfil," Chris said. "Don't let this affect your judgement."
"I won't," Peter said, walking forward. "Let's press on."
The group had found an exit that led them back outside, with several zombies blocking their path. Daisy was quick to use her powers to impale them with stalagmites, allowing Chris and Jill to move ahead while Peter leapt onto the side of the building to get a better view up ahead.
"There's a path up ahead, but a lot of zombies there! Peter warned.
"Thanks Peter!" Jill said, running ahead with Chris and Daisy while Peter leapt down.
It wasn't long before the group came into view of the zombies, as Peter had warned them about. Daisy wasn't worried, but Chris had another idea.
Spotting some oil barrels, the marksman immediately shot one, causing an explosion that took out a large horde of the zombies.
"YEAH!" Chris cheered, a rare smile on his face.
"Wow, nice fireworks," Jill playfully teased.
"Effective strategy nonetheless," Daisy said, leading the team away. "Come on, let's keep moving."
"Wait up," Jill said, she and the boys following Daisy.
They reached a staircase, just about ready to go up when they noticed an air duct was open as well.
"Think we should try the air duct?" Peter asked. "Might allow us a chance to sneak through."
"Problem is, there could be anything in there," Chris said. "It might be dangerous."
"Well we can infiltrate down below or secure the stairs," Jill said.
"Should we split up?" Daisy asked.
"No, we stay together," Chris said.
Jill turned her attention to Peter, "Got any ideas, Spidey?"
"The stairs might be a safe bet, but also predictable," Peter said. "Chances are Umbrella knows we're coming, and they expect us to take the safest route. I'm not worried about the duct, but I do hope you, Chris and Daisy can handle it."
"I can handle just about anything," Jill said.
"Same here, and quite honestly, I like the way you think, Spider-Man," Chris said. "Alright, is everyone okay with using the duct?"
"Fine with me, but my abilities may be limited in there," Daisy said. "I can use my seismic gauntlets, but I would need to hold back if there's anything there that can be hazardous to our health. It's why I prefer fighting outside with less risk."
"Don't worry, we'll keep you covered," Jill said. "Besides, you have more skills than just your gauntlets."
"I hope they come in handy just as much," Daisy said.
"We'll watch your back," Peter said.
"Exactly," Jill said. "Now, come on."
Chris shined a flashlight down the ladder, "It's dark down there, stay on your toes."
As they went down a ladder, the radio went off once again, "B.O.W. encountered, commencing attack!"
"Looks like there's still plenty of guys out there and still fighting," Daisy said.
"I just hope they survive," Peter said.
"This isn't anything we can't handle," a voice said. "Take'em down!"
As the group reached the bottom, they spotted a few zombies, Peter using this opportunity to blitz in and take several of them out with quick punches, though the results were quite gritty.
"I freaking hate getting their blood on me," Peter said, shaking his hands off.
"You'll live," Daisy said, much to Peter's annoyance.
"Oh gee, really? Here I thought I was going to die horrifically," Peter sarcastically commented.
"You will if you don't focus," Daisy warned, annoying Peter once again.
"Let's try to maintain a little team harmony here," Chris said. "For now, let's keep moving ahead."
The group stuck close together, Chris shining his flashlight to make sure everyone knew where they were going, and hopefully not run into any more zombies.
"This place is giving me the creeps," Peter commented. "Feels like something could jump out and get me at any moment."
"That can very much happen if you're not careful," Daisy warned.
"Just stick close together and..." Jill stopped when she heard something. "What was that sound?"
"In situations like these, never anything good," Peter said.
"It's coming through the vents," Chris said, gesturing to a nearby shaft.
Crawling out of the shaft was an insect looking creature, its presence freaking Peter out. "What the hell is that thing!?"
"Chimera!" Chris fired away at the B.O.W. Soon more began to come, with Chris and Jill opening fire, Daisy attacking a few with small seismic waves and Peter webbing them away.
The group ran to the end of the hall, taking down more Chimeras along the way, and a few zombies.
More were coming however, so Chris grabbed a grenade and flung it at the B.O.W.s, taking several out in one blast, Jill finishing off any stragglers.
"That was close," Daisy said.
"Too close, never thought I'd see those Chimeras again," Chris said.
"Chimera, that sounds familiar," Peter said.
"Mutated flies," Jill reminded.
"Oh yeah, you talked about that in Raccoon City," Peter said. "Creepy things, but at least they're not as bad as those Drain Deimos creatures."
"They're still pretty bad in their own way," Jill said.
"I'm just curious as to why insects and arachnids seem to grow when they get infected, while most other living things do not," Peter commented.
"Back in Raccoon City, Chris, Daisy and I encountered a giant snake," Jill recalled.
"Hawkeye mentioned seeing a giant alligator as well," Daisy said. "So it seems to affect reptiles too."
"So insects, arachnids and reptiles, not a good combination," Peter said.
"Let's be glad it's just them, we don't want to run into zombie giants," Chris said.
"Don't jinx it," Peter said.
"Geez Spider-Man, you act like this is the worst situation you've been in," Daisy said. "You've gone against the likes of Thanos and Dormammu."
"Yes, both were bad situations, just like this," Peter said. "Regardless of which one is more dangerous, it's still dangerous."
"Spider-Man's not wrong, if you don't take every situation as seriously as you can, you'll end up dead," Chris warned. "Now, let's keep moving, this isn't the best spot to rest."
"Right behind you," Peter said, following Chris, Jill and Daisy as the four lifted up a nearby shutter.
They proceeded down the hallway, avoiding the oncoming zombies, and fighting off what they needed to as they progressed through the area, and closer to their goal.
Toward the end, they began to hear some hissing sounds, much to the worry of the four as they kept a close eye on their surroundings.
"That sounds frighteningly familiar," Daisy noted, recalling her days in Raccoon City.
"Yeah it..." Peter's Spider-Sense had gone off, immediately turning his attention to the oncoming danger. "Watch out!"
A Hunter had leapt in to strike, but Peter was quick to punch the monster, hard enough against the wall to instantly kill it.
"Figures those things would be here," Jill lamented, recalling her first encounter in Raccoon City.
"There might be more, keep moving!" Chris ordered.
The team ran until they approached some stairs, cautiously making their way up, keeping an eye ahead to prepare for potential battle, and behind to avoid any ambushes.
Staying together, they slowly went through a door, finding themselves in a large room containing crates all around.
"This is the place," Chris commented. "One step closer to completing our mission."
"There's a lot of cargo here, likely shipping whatever mad experiments they have across the globe," Peter said.
"If this gets out, the Raccoon City incident will look like a minor mishap compared to everything else," Daisy said.
"Geez, are you always this much of a pessimist?" Peter asked.
"You're one to talk, Tony says you make a big deal out of everything," Daisy said.
"At least I can crack a smile here and there, you just walk around all gloomy like," Peter said.
"Maybe you haven't noticed, but we're in a life or death type of situation," Daisy said. "Take things seriously."
"You're telling ME to take things seriously!?" Peter asked. "Remember how you mentioned that I went against Thanos and Dormammu? Newsflash, I'm alive, because I took that crap seriously!"
"I sure hope you did, and that Iron Man didn't have to bail you out," Daisy said. "Given how much you're panicking, I'd say your prior efforts are probably overrated."
"You want to go there huh? I don't want to brag but I've gone against other dangerous stuff," Peter said. "I participated in a tournament run by an evil Android who was this close to blowing up the planet! I had to help aliens critters from another planet fight Gods, Space Lizards and evil mustached scientists! I helped Jill defeat some creepy monster that followed us throughout Raccoon City! I deal with The Green Goblin on a regular basis! I know what I'm freaking doing!"
"Then how about you stop running your mouth and get things done!" Daisy shouted.
"Okay that's enough!" Chris scolded. "Peter, Daisy, I know you're both stressed, and probably tired because it's very early in the morning, but we need to keep it together. I know you two can put aside whatever differences you have for the greater good. Jill and I have a lot of trust in you after all."
Irritated as Peter was, he had to agree with Chris on this. "You're right. Daisy, I'm sorry about my attitude."
"No, it's fine," Daisy said, hoping to drop this herself.. "Let's just try to get through this in one piece."
"That's better," Chris said, then noticed something up with the fourth member of the group looking to be in a bit of a sour mood. "Jill, are you okay?"
"Huh?" Jill seemed to snap out of whatever funk she was in. "Y-yeah, I'm fine."
"Is this too much for you?" Peter asked.
Jill shook her head, "It's nothing I can't handle."
"Hey if something's bothering you, then you can tell us," Peter said, patting her shoulder. "We're here for you."
Jill shook her head, "I'm fine Peter. Let's just focus on what's ahead."
Peter had a feeling that Jill was suppressing her issues, but ultimately chose to respect her decision. "Alright."
"Come on," Chris said, leading everyone to the center of the room. It was there they could see that the Umbrella Logo covered the entirety of the floor, not too surprising to any of them.
"Umbrella really likes leaving their mark, huh?" Daisy asked.
"They're a company full of greed and narcissism, it's hardly a surprise," Chris said, then heard a rumble. "What was that?"
Peter's Spider-Sense went off as a giant crane hook came sliding at the group. Each of them were quick to leap out of the way as the device crashed, causing a loud ruckus all over the building.
"What just happened!?" Peter wondered. "Was that on purpose or an accident?"
"Could be either way," Daisy said, then heard some moans. Approaching the group was a horde of zombies, all of them slowly making their way over.
"Where'd they come from!?" Chris asked, pulling out a Drum Shotgun and blasting.
"They're all over!" Jill said, bringing out an automatic pistol, opening fire.
Some zombies attacked from behind, Peter webbing a few while Daisy used her seismic waves to blasted several of them, causing an explosion of blood where they once stood.
From above, Chris spotted more trouble, "Spiders!"
Giant Spiders were making their way down, much to Peter's disappointment, "I really hate having to fight spiders."
"Put the sentiments aside," Daisy said, blasting the spiders along with Chris and Jill.
More zombies began to come, Jill pointing them out to Chris, "They're here too!"
"Over the cargo!" Chris said, leaping over with his team, but coming into contact with more zombies. "Of course!"
As everyone killed the zombies, they noticed Hunters making their presence known as well, arriving from on top of the crates.
Peter webbed one and used it to smash into the others before aggressively flinging it through a crate. One tried to attack from behind but Peter leapt over and fired yet another web that sent the monster flying.
More zombies began to appear, much to Chris's worry, "Where are they coming from!?"
"We need to run!" Jill said.
"You're right, let's fall back," Chris ordered as the group ran for safety, attacking any zombies they could behind them.
"I don't blame Umbrella for the zombies," Peter said as everyone leapt behind the crate. "They don't need to sleep, they work for free, and they get to do what they naturally do. Quite ingenius."
"Are you kidding me right now?" Daisy asked.
"Hey I'm just saying that they must save a lot of money on pay wages and insurance," Peter said.
"Just keep moving," Chris said, leading his team closer to their goal.
As they walked, Jill spotted something terrible up ahead. "Oh no..."
Chris spotted the same thing, a dead soldier on the ground, near some crates, "Bronson..."
Peter's mood immediately soured. He knew there were casualties, despite wanting to believe otherwise, that by some miracle, the men managed to escape in one piece. Obviously that didn't happen.
"Let's not let his death be in vain," Jill said.
Chris nodded in agreement, "Of course, we'll finish it for him, and everyone else who was willing to give their life."
As they reached another corner, a Hunter came to attack, to which Chris was quick to shoot it down. However it wasn't alone, several more began to come, ready for a fight.
"There's a whole pack of them!" Daisy said, blasting some with her waves.
"We don't have anywhere to run! Our best option is to fight!" Chris said as he and Jill fired away.
Peter quickly blitzed a few, punching through their heads and sending others flying against a wall. Chris and Jill were both quick to shoot the monsters, keeping a safe distance and making sure they were not in any immediate danger, though the task proved quite challenging.
"They just keep coming!" Jill shouted, using her automatic pistol.
"Then we'll keep fighting!" Chris shouted, blasting away with his shotgun.
After a few seconds, and several hunters, eventually all the creatures were dead, with no more on the way.
"There were so many of them, what the hell is this place?" Chris wondered.
"Let's try to figure it out," Jill said, heading out toward the center.
"Jill, don't go too far," Peter warned.
"I'll be fine, Peter," Jill reassured.
Peter lamented the situation, "That girl is either brave or foolish."
"A bit of both," Chris said.
"I heard that!" Jill called.
Wanting to take a break, Daisy sat on a crate, the girl looking incredibly worried and quite concerned. "Are we enough?"
"Huh?" Chris asked. "Are we enough?"
"Yes, I mean...we know so many other people who could help, including those with experience," Daisy said. "There's Gambit and his girlfriend Applejack."
"Wife, they're married," Peter confirmed.
"Oh right, I keep forgetting," Daisy said. "Still, they could have come with us. Oh, and there's Hawkeye and Black Widow. Quite honestly, we could have seen if Leon Kennedy was available."
"Leon has his own missions," Chris said. "Remember, he doesn't work in the same branch as us, even if his goals are similar."
"Makes sense, Leon strikes me as the loner type, he doesn't like working with armies, he keeps it small," Jill said from nearby.
"That's how I prefer to do it too," Peter said.
"Is that why you never ask The Avengers for help?" Daisy asked.
"Hey, the streets are my responsibility, let The Avengers handle the aliens," Peter said.
"You know we can do more than just fight aliens, don't you?" Daisy asked.
Look, point is, if I need help, I can contact another street level hero," Peter said. "Let The Avengers handle the big stuff."
"I think The Avengers would want to be proactive in stopping The Green Goblin," Daisy said. "Even Sandman's proven to be a massive threat that they would be more than willing to help with."
"He's certainly not someone I want to mess with," Chris said. "Not that I would turn away a fight. I'll take on anyone if I have to."
"You're a tough man, Chris Redfield," Daisy said. "Speaking of Redfields, what about your sister? Think she could have come with us?"
"Out of the question, my sister isn't a solider type," Chris said.
"She works well with S.H.I.E.L.D. when she needs to," Daisy said.
"Still, leave her out of it," Chris said. "I'd rather she not fight this type of battle if she doesn't need to. I know she has experience but that won't make me any less worried."
"I don't blame you; I wouldn't want to drag a loved one into this," Peter said. "Then again, the closest I have to a sister is my cousin Peni, and she's like ten and a half, so I wouldn't bring her with me anyway."
"How is she doing?" Daisy asked.
"She's fine, she should be at home with my wife and daughter," Peter said.
"Your daughter's four now, right?" Chris asked.
"You bet," Peter said. "Cutest little kid in the world."
"That's adorable Peter," Jill said, looking down and kicking the floor a bit.
"It's why I do this, I want to keep the world safe for her and my wife to grow up in," Peter said.
"Isn't your wife super powerful?" Daisy asked. "In fact, she helped when it came to Shinra, didn't she? And Shinra was a partner to Umbrella, at least before it went under."
"Twilight's got work to do in Equestria," Peter said. "Believe me when I say this though, I would LOVE to have her here and blow this place to hell. But it's just us. No Hawkeye, no Black Widow, no Gambit, no Applejack, no Leon and no Claire."
"What about Rebecca Chambers?" Daisy asked. "She has experience, doesn't she?"
"Yeah, she and some prisoner named Billy Coen both had experience before Jill and I," Chris said.
"On the Ecliptic Train," Daisy said, this confusing Peter.
"I heard about that probably once, but I don't think I got the full details," Peter said.
"We'll tell you soon enough," Chris said. "Right now, we gotta keep moving."
"Got that right." Daisy took a look around herself, "We need to get to the bottom of all this, just what is Umbrella hoping to do?"
"The real question is, how do we progress any further?" Peter said.
"Chris! Peter! Daisy!" Jill said, kneeling at the center of the floor. "Come take a look at this. Something about this floor is different than the rest."
"Yeah, you're right," Chris said, activating a nearby machine.
The floor turned into an elevator as it took down the four heroes, each of them preparing themselves for what's to come.
"Abandon Hope," Jill said, taking Peter by surprise.
"The nightmare ends now," Chris said.
"Abandon Hope? Why would Jill say something like that? I know we need to rely on skills but...a little hope can go a long way," Peter wasn't going to press it, right now they had more important things to worry about.
Little did this team know, they were not alone. Just outside the facility, Albert Wesker was waiting in a snowstorm alongside an ally. A woman with a spider insignia on her back.
"It is time, Juri," Wesker said, glancing into the distance.
"This should be fun, pull this off and I think you'll make some powerful new allies," Juri said.
"I expect you to stay close to me, do not disappoint," Wesker said.
"Have I ever let anyone down?" Juri playfully asked. "We got this."
Wesker then spoke into a radio, "Sephiroth, are you nearby?"
"Of course," Sephiroth said, the man further off. "I am forty miles southwest of your position."
"Be ready to fight when the time comes," Wesker said. "We want to go in quietly before we cause a larger racket."
"I will gladly assist however I can," Sephiroth said. "Contact me when the time comes."
"Affirmative, over and out," Wesker said, placing his radio away. He readied his silencer handgun, then turned his attention to Juri. "Let's go."
"Right behind you," Juri said, following Wesker into battle.
Umbrella's end was to continue, one way or another. From the heroes, or otherwise.
