Nightmare (Melinda's POV)
I find myself alone in the woods. I see Andy. He comes over to me. I can't move. He undresses me and pushes me to the ground and he hurts me hurts me. I can't speak. I can't do anything to stop him. I scream to the top of my lungs.
Me: NNNNNOOOOO! SSSSTTTTOOOOPPPP! I DON'T WANT TO!
I suddenly find myself in the guest room of Rachel's house. It was just a dream. I look at the clock next to me. 3 AM. Suddenly, the door flings open and I see Rachel, her parents and Jimmy with worried looks on their faces.
Rachel: Melinda! Are you okay?
Me: Yeah, I just had a nightmare about Andy. I have flashbacks about him when I talk to my therapist Dr Likhtbaum.
Rachel: Well, in that case, make some room. I'll sleep with you tonight and I will have my hands over you to keep you safe.
She gets into my bed and puts her arm around me.
Me (smiling): thanks Rach.
Her parents and Jimmy smile and go to bed.
Not one thought about Andy comes to my mind for the rest of the night and I sleep like a rock.
