Mira drove the boat away from the area per Ben's instructions. A battle with 2 Shark Leviathans will put the bystanders in danger. She can protect herself and Bella but Ando might be harmed.
"Are there really 2 Shark Leviathans?" Ando asked, still not believing it.
"If Ben says there are, it must be true. Even if it's not true, the impact of a battle with one will be big, so we need to leave the area." Mira nodded.
Mira doesn't bother convincing Ando because he just met them. She fully trusts Ben and so does Bella, but Ando isn't going to believe someone he just met that easily. It's better for him to see it for himself rather than convince him.
Ando's chance to see the proof of Ben's warning came quickly. The 2 Shark Leviathans finally appear, although they only display their massive fins. But those massive fins was more than enough for Ando to believe there were 2 Shark Leviathans.
"This is a lot more than I expected. I just came to flex my body but then a chance to train popped up. There's no better training than fighting strong opponents." Ben said excited.
The 2 Shark Leviathans still haven't shown up but they get closer to Ben. He got ready to confront them by covering his arms in fire. Then he slammed his fists together in excitement, forming 5 red magic circles around him.
"Fire Magic is weakened in this environment so I'm at a disadvantage using it. But this kind of restriction is good for me because I can train my fire magic." Ben said as he looked at the incoming Shark Leviathans.
The 2 Shark Leviathans suddenly jumped out of the water towards Ben's position. Now he can clearly see the 2 Shark Leviathans. One of them is bigger with black skin with blue metallic armor on it's back, fins and jaws. The other one was smaller with grey skin and silver armor in the same locations.
Ben was surprised and leaped out of the way to avoid their attacks. He is surprised to see the black one because there's no record of such a Shark Leviathan. This was the first time it was seen and Ben is sure it's stronger than even the Whale Leviathan.
"No wonder everyone that took this job failed to complete it. I can feel that it is 3 times stronger than the Shark Leviathan next to it. But Shark Leviathans are solitary creatures, so why are there 2 of them. Unless?!" Ben said while grinning.
"Well, it doesn't matter. You'll still be good opponents." Ben said as he activated his magic.
The 5 red magic circles around him glow brighter before they shot multiple fireballs consecutively. The fireballs fly towards the Shark Leviathans but they maneuver in midair and block the fireballs with their armor.
The black Shark Leviathan then swung it's tail at Ben. It doesn't reach him but it generated a powerful shock wave that came towards Ben. He dodged it using his light magic to propel himself away while he was in midair.
Ben wanted to attack again but the 2 monsters dived underwater. This is the problem with fighting sea creatures in their environment. He can't do anything while they are underwater because the water blocked his spells.
Still, it won't stop him from trying so he will still attack them. Ben took a deep breath while trying to sense the monsters' position. The weaker Shark Leviathan's presence is faint but the stronger one's presence is very clear and it's right below him.
"Sun Dragon Fire Roar!" Ben chanted before he shoots a powerful fire pillar from his mouth.
The fire pillar penetrates the water and moves toward the monster. However, it's power and speed were reduced by the seawater. It's slow speed allowed the Shark Leviathan to get away and evade it.
"Damn, fire is really not compatible with water." Ben angrily said.
Suddenly, 2 whirlpools are formed, and then 2 big water pillars with one being significantly bigger than the other move towards him. They are the Shark Leviathans' attacks that pinch him from 2 sides. But Ben just evades them by propelling himself forward using his light magic.
More water pillars are fired from the sea, causing him to continue to evade them. The 2 Shark Leviathans don't seem to have any intention to come out and keep attacking from below. If this continued, Ben will be at a disadvantage because he can't attack them.
"They are smart enough to think of something like this. I doubt they'll come out knowing they're at a disadvantage by doing that. Besides, I am not their prey and they just keep me away to stop me from disturbing them. It seems I need to change my strategy and just focus on finishing this job. Well, let's use the elements that can penetrate the water easier than fire." Ben said as he looked around.
Ben extinguished the fire on his arms and flew higher. He looked at the sea below and extended his arms out to it. Then he gathered his magic power and created a hundred bright yellow magic circles all around him.
He smirked.
"Let's try this new spell. Sun Dragon Wrath: Rain of Light!" He yelled.
After he chanted the spell, long and sharp light spears come out of the magic circles. Each magic circle shot multiple light spears consecutively. They won't stop shooting until Ben dispelled them.
The light spears shoot down at the sea at high speed like rain. They keep hitting the water and create big splashes. The light spears shoot down towards the Shark Leviathans.
Their speed was reduced because of the water, but they were still very fast. They can hit the 2 Shark Leviathans below and force them to get away. But Ben kept track of them and keeps shooting towards their positions.
After some time, he stopped bombarding them and dispels the magic circle. The area above the sea was full of mist created by the light rain. Light has heat inside it, so those light spears evaporated a lot of water.
The wind soon blew the mist away and now Ben could see that he killed one of his targets. It was the smaller Leviathan, the one with gray armor. The black Shark Leviathan was injured but it was still alive and glared at Ben angrily.
"As I thought, the grey one was your spouse. But don't expect me to be merciful just because of that. This is a dog-eat-dog world, a world where power matters, it's survival of the fittest where the weak will be killed." Ben said seriously.
He knew the Shark Leviathan could understand what he said. Magical creatures are a lot smarter than normal creatures. Some of them could even speak human language, that's why it's normal for them to understand humans even though they can't speak like humans.
"If you want to avenge it, come on! I won't run away." Ben said as he got down and stood on the water again.
"Grrr, RAWR!" The black Shark Leviathan roared with a very powerful voice.
Ben placed his hands on his ears because the roar was really loud and it affected his enhanced sense of hearing. It finally stopped after a while and Ben took his hands off his ears. He felt dizzy because of the super loud roar.
When he came to his senses, the black Shark Leviathan's jaws had gotten really close to him. Before he can do anything, Ben was swallowed by the monster. Ando screamed in fright while Mira and Bella simply sigh.
"Over." Bella said, shaking her head.
"What's o-" Ando trailed off because he saw the black Shark Leviathan suddenly flail around as steam poured out of it's mouth.
Then soon, it stopped moving and floating as it lost it's life. Ando then saw Ben climb out of it's mouth with a irate expression.
Ben cursed as he climbed out of the mouth. "Damn bastard tried to eat me. Now I can't train against it because I needed to kill it. Talk about anticlimactic."
