Sometime after Mira and Erza lost consciousness, a group of Fairy Tail mages came to Crawford's house. They received bad news from Jarvis after the home's A.I detected Mira was in danger. Natsu, Wendy, Happy, Carla and Bella came to the house.
Wendy left the kids with Makarov and her guild mates who stayed in Ben's house. They are connected to the ones who went to Crawford's house through Bella. She is carrying a small lacrima ball that acted as a communication lacrima that was connected to Jarvis like CCTV, so everyone can watch what happened.
The group found Crawford's house which had a big hole in it due to Mira's attack. They enter through it and can't find anyone there. It made them realize that Crawford might be working for Tartaros and he was the one who leaked the information of those who became keys for Face.
In a fit of rage, Natsu destroyed the house and immediately went to find Erza and Mira. He tracked their smell using his sensitive Dragon Slayer nose. Wendy also helped and they follow the smell while informing their guild mates.
"Jarvis, keep tracking us and tell big brother Ben about this." Wendy said while Carla carried her.
{Understood.}
While the group is tracking Mira and Erza, Makarov tried to contact the other members of the guild who were sent to protect the Council members. Saving Erza and Mira was more important right now. Those old bastards weren't as important as their family members.
Natsu's group found out where Mira and Erza were taken. They find a huge, floating cube when they were done tracking their scent. Then without any hesitation, they break into the cube through the spot where they pick up Mira and Erza's scent.
"WHERE ARE MIRA AND ERZA!" Natsu shouted, alerting those inside.
The ones inside are Etherious as this is Tartaros's base. Some underling Etherious approach the group, but they were easily defeated by Natsu and Wendy. The mages' presence surprised Tartaros's higher ups because they never thought their base would be found this quickly.
Natsu then saw Crawford who was standing beside an Etherious that looks like it was wearing yellow armor. The angry Natsu then attacked Crawford and questioned him about Mira and Erza's whereabouts. Crawford was unconscious though, so the only one who can talk is the demon.
"If you're searching for those girls, then you must be from Fairy Tail. I'm impressed that you found this place so fast. Ah, I'm Franmalth by the way and I won't tell you where they are." Franmalth playfully said.
Natsu then angrily said, "You have no idea who you're messing with. Hurry up and tell me where they are before your ass is beat."
"Ho ho ho, you? Beat me up? That's funny. A magic user like you won't be able to do anything to us who use Curses, the power that stands above magic." Franmalth said.
"I never said I would be the one who beat you up. Although I'm more than willing to, but at the very least, you'll be glad I'm the one doing it. If that guy comes here, you'll regret every decision you made today." Natsu seriously said.
"Oho? It makes me want to meet that person instead." Franmalth said, not taking this seriously.
"That's up to you." Natsu said before dashing forward and punching Franmalth in the stomach.
Franmalth then shed his armor and now looked like a big, round bacteria with spikes on his back. Both of them start to fight while Wendy tried to get information out of Crawford by waking him up. The old guy was very stubborn though, so she didn't get anything.
Wendy then decided to move while Natsu is fighting and he agreed. So she moved with the Exceeds, leaving Natsu alone while he was fighting Franmalth. Wendy is trying to find Mira and Erza's scents, but they're mixed up with other scents, making it very difficult for her.
Back with Natsu, he was having a hard time fighting Franmalth. The Etherious was using an ability that let him absorb Natsu's magic power upon contact. He can even absorb magic spells, which made him a tricky opponent.
Sometime later, their fight stopped when someone else entered the room. It's a black haired man in body armor. If Ben and Mira were here, they would recognize the man. He is Silver, the Ice Devil Slayer they met in Sun Village who ironically is a member of Tartaros.
Silver told Franmalth to take care of the injured Crawford. Franmalth, who seemed to be frightened of Silver, complied and left with Crawford. Then Silver looked at Natsu who looked at him with a rather strange gaze.
"You...you smell like Gray." Natsu said.
Silver seemed disgusted and said, "Don't mention that name in front of me."
Then without warning, Silver used his Ice Devil Slayer Magic to freeze Natsu. A hard layer of pinkish ice covered Natsu's body. He was frozen and can't move now because his body is well - frozen.
When Natsu regained consciousness, he was in a prison cell. The ice on his body had melted, so he can move again and tried to break free of the cell. But then a girl's voice told him to calm down and he knew the source of the voice. It was Lisanna.
She had been captured by the Etherious too and had been placed here. Both of them then talk and exchange information and Natsu found out that Elfman had disappeared. The Etherious must've done something to him too.
"What about big brother Ben?" Lisanna asked.
"Wendy informed me about what happened thanks to Jarvis. So Ben must've found it too. He must be on his way here already." Natsu said.
"That's good to hear. But can he move? He is training in seclusion and hasn't been seen for 22 days. I don't know what kind of training he's doing right now, but it must be a lot more tiring than usual. Even his usual training was really hard already and no one else can finish it. So this training must be a lot harder and he must be very tired. He might not be able to fight now." Lisanna said, worried.
"Don't worry. If there's someone who can do the impossible, it's him. If he can't do it, then no one else can. He will come. Even on the brink of death, he will come to save Mira. That's how much he loves her." Natsu said very seriously.
Lisanna was speechless to hear Natsu talk about love, so she said. "You sure know about someone else's love so deeply while being so ignorant yourself."
"What are you talking about?" Natsu asked, confused causing Lisanna to let out a deep sigh.
In a different part of Tartaros's base, Wendy and the Exceeds were still following the scent. They've lost it, so now they're trying to find it again. But the scent of the demons here had covered up all the scents that Erza and Mira left.
The group met several more Etherious along the way. They effortlessly defeated them, except Happy who struggled a bit. They've been trained well by Ben since they were young, so their battle power is high, even Bella and Carla.
Then when they walk down a dark corridor, they meet another Etherious. This one looked stronger than the ones they encountered earlier and emitted far more power too. This Etherious is big, has 4 arms, greenish skin and he has spikes on his head and shoulders.
"Oh? Are you lost, little girls?" The Etherious asked with a smirk.
"Girls? I AM A BOY, YOU KNOW?" Happy angrily shouted.
"Really? But you look weaker than those little girls." The demon said while smirking.
Happy became depressed after hearing that statement because it's a fact. He is the weakest here and can't help much in battles. Wendy wasn't thinking about that right now because there was something important to ask.
"Where are big sister Mira and Erza?" Wendy asked while firmly looking at the demon.
"You don't look scared at all. I'm impressed. What if I told you where they are after you defeat me?" The demon asked.
"So be it." Wendy said without any hesitation before she jumped towards the demon.
The demon was surprised when she attacked immediately. So he got ready to fight her and assumed a stance. However, before Wendy's attack connected, they all felt heavy pressure on their bodies.
It wasn't just them, but every creature in the cube felt the heavy pressure. Then they all fall on the floor because of the pressure and no one can resist it. Everyone then felt a strong crash below them.
The giant cube crashed into the ground below it and it really surprised the Etherious. This cube is their base and they all know how strong the thing is. But it actually crashed into the ground due to outside pressure, which is unbelievable for them.
Wendy looked at the confused demon as they laid on the floor and smiled, "It's all done now."
