Chapter thirteen: The Austrian Fire Devil

2021:

Alison is at school, at her locker. She put things in like the books and locked the locker. She ran her tongue over her braces, and adjusted her thick glasses that made her look like a nerd.

"Go home ecobitch."

Alison recognized the voice immediately. It was Patrick Schroeder-Smith. An asshole as it is in the book. He left school. Alison followed him. Three minutes later, in an alley, she stood in front of him.

"Stop it!" Alison said angrily.

"With what? Ecobitch?" said Patrick provocatively.

Alison jumped at him. She tried to hit him. Patrick held her arms, and because of the brute force they both had, they fell to the ground, knocking over two garbage cans. They continued to wrestle on the ground. But then it got milder. Both looked into each other's eyes. Both felt a strange, beautiful feeling. And for some unknown reason, both of their lips moved towards each other and they started kissing. It was like they felt complete. They didn't want to be without each other anymore. They started kissing harder and harder. Sometime with tongue. At some point the two looked at each other. They sat down. Both thought the same.

"I have found the one and only."

Present: 2022:

Being in love became love. Alison looked at Patrick who was sleeping in his bed. Alison held his hand. she smiled. She kissed his cheek. That, and his cell phone vibrating, woke Patrick up. He looked at Alison.

"Hi Princess. I'll take a look at that later."

Patrick snuggled up to Alison. The two heard a scream from the hallway, which undoubtedly came from Amira. Patrick was wide awake now and sat up.

"Forget it. I'll check the message."

Patrick looked at his phone and threw it away in disgust. Amira stormed into Patrick's room in a bathrobe.

"Don't look at the picture!"

"So what's going on?" Alison asked.

"I accidentally sent Patrick a picture of me. In my underwear." said Amira tormented.

Alison took Patrick's cell phone and looked at it. The picture that Amira sent showed her in black underwear, wearing only panties and a bra, kissing her mouth. Alison deleted the photo.

"Why are you taking photos like this?" Alison asked.

"I wanted to sell these online so you guys would have enough money. And forget that that ever happened!"

Amira ran to her room. Alison lay down next to Patrick.

"Wow. She's hot. I almost feel ugly next to her."

"Please don't say that. She's my sister. I can never look her in the eye again." said Patrick slightly traumatized.

"You've seen me naked dozens of times. And you really liked it."

"You're my girlfriend and not my sister. I think you're super beautiful. But I don't want to see my sister like that."

"Forget it. Lie down."

The two lay down next to each other and cuddled. Rita was playing on her cell phone at the dining table. She was lost in thought when Lynn Senior spoke to her.

"I'm taking the girls to their appointments now. Lincoln is in beaverton at the comic book store. He'll be back tonight. And I'll be with the girls at midnight."

"Tonight I have another babysitting job. But I will find a solution as to who will babysit Lincoln."

"That's good. Bye honey."

Lynn Senior and Rita kissed each other on the lips. Lynn Senior walked over to Vanzilla where the Loud sisters were sitting inside. Rita continued playing on her phone. In the afternoon she went to the house where Patrick and Amira lived. Rita rang the bell. Alison opened.

"Hi Rita."

"Hi Alison. Is Amira there?"

"Yes. She's in her room. One moment."

Alison turned and yelled up the stairs.

"Amira! Someone needs you!"

Amira came down the stairs.

"Yes?"

"Hello Amira. Could you take care of my son Lincoln today? He is alone and you are good at taking responsibility."

Amira rolled her eyes.

"Fine."

Amira put on her shoes. Rita gave her the spare keys to the Loud House. Then she set off. Amira walked down Franklin Avenue. Amira was not happy about being asked to look after a child.

"I hope he's not talking to me."

Amira said to herself. When she reached the Louds' house, she knocked. Lincoln, still taking off his jacket, opened it.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" asked Lincoln.

"I'm supposed to take care of you."

"Okay. Come in."

Amira went in and sat on the sofa.

"Sit down! So I can keep an eye on you!"

Lincoln sat down next to Amira. Lincoln knew exactly what his mother meant about Amira.

"I heard you're pretty mean to your brother. Now I know what Alison and Mom meant."

"My Brother hurt me really Bad. Not like normal silblings. He hurt me in a Long Term."

"What happened?"

"When I was fourteen I was supposed to take care of my brother. My mother went shopping. Patrick was six years old. He was hungry and I learned how to cook spaghetti. I started to heat the water. When it boiled, Patrick became impatient and wanted to look into the pot. He wanted to take the cooking pot down. But do you know how heavy a cooking pot full of water is? I wanted to take the saucepan away from him. All the water poured over my legs, and little on his arm. He cried and ran away. And I was on the ground crying. It hurt so much. I had to get up and take care of him. His arm was pretty badly burned. I didn't know what to do, so I got him to the hospital as soon as I could. And almost was an understatement. I didn't even put on shoes. I walked barefoot with burned legs and my little brother in my arms two miles. To the hospital. And the doctor treated him. Then he asked me how I was. I say te that my legs came into contact with the water. He said take off your pants. I did that and he turned pale. And I know for a fact that he picked up the phone and said, "Prepare emergency surgery. Burn victim." I was brought into the operating room and I woke up in the middle of the night with no one with me. My mother was with my stupid brother. And it didn't end. A month later I went back to school and everyone saw what I looked like. And until I graduated from school, I was called "The Austrian Fire Devil". That's why I treat Patrick like this. And I still have the scars to this day."

Lincoln began stroking Amira's back and her hair.

"I'm sorry."

"Normaly I would yell at everyone who touches me. But it feels wrong to do that to you."

Amira wrapped her left arm around Lincoln.

"You know your hair feels great?"

Lincoln said. Amira blushed.

"Oh. You're way too kind to me."

Lincoln rested his head on Amira's shoulder. Amira responded by wrapping both arms around Lincoln. Rita and Alison walked down the street. Both talked.

"How will this David be like? I hope he likes us." said Rita.

"Thats not importand. We are just there to awake kids. We are just there, and see them never again."

"Bring a better mindset. This will work beautifully. The two arrived at a three-story concrete block that looked 1970s-style. They went through the stairwell to the third floor, and knocked on a door. A woman and a The man opened the door. The woman was wearing a red sweatshirt and beige jeans, had brown shoulderlengh wavy hair. The man was bald, wore blue jeans and a black t-shirt that said Sabaton, and had a battleship on it. As far as Rita knew, noticed she that the father must be a metal fan.

"Hello. She recommended mediation to us." said the woman.

"Yes. We became. I'm Rita Loud."

"I'm Alison Jugde."

"Come in." said the father.

Alison and Rita entered and went into a living room.

"He plays a lot on his PC. Though he's very grown up in that regard. He has a treadmill in his room. He's quite, well, overweight, but very athletic. Basically like chocolate which is sour. He's quite fond of spinach. We always have a few cans in the closet."

"Where is he?" asked Alison.

"He's in his room." said the father.

The mother led the two to a door and opened it. Sitting at a gaming PC a ten year old fat boy wearing a white t-shirt with a faint stomach showing then he was wearing black adidas jogging pants and shoulderlengh black hair. He looked stylish in his own way he noticed her and turned um. He had a kind of bored voice, but he didn't seem bored.

"Sup gamers." David said.

"Hi. We're here to take care of you."

"Oh yeah. I heard that." His mother spoke up.

"We're going to get the new sofa. Don't mess around."

His parents waved at him and left. Alison was confused.

"Don't mess around? How am I supposed to understand that?"

"I used to be totally hyperactive. Hard to control."

"So. What should we do?" Rita wondered.

"I still have a Super Nintendo. If you want, we can bring it out." said David.

"You have a SNES? The real one?" Rita asked excitedly.

"Yes. Go into the living room. I'll bring them." Rita and Alison were waiting in the living room. David came out of his room with the SNES and two controllers, and plugged the SNES into the TV. Alison sat on the floor and David handed her a controller. The SNES launched and Rita had an awful lot of memories.

"Oh my god. That's awesome."

"Yup. Wait here a minute."

David walked into the kitchen and the microwave could be heard. Then he came back with a plate of spinach, two chicken nuggets and a burger. He still had a bag of chips under his arm, which he tossed to Rita.

"For the both of you."

"Thanks." said Rita.

"Alison wasn't too thrilled with the amount of food David ate.

"You know it gives you a heart attack."

"Yeah yeah. It won't happen."

"That's what my grandfather said to me too. Five days later I was at his funeral."

Alison and David started playing. Super Mario world. Rita felt an 80's vibe watching it. By the time Alison and David were done, it was obvious that David was practiced. He had played extremely effectively He got up.

"It's your turn."

Rita immediately sat down on the floor and started playing with Alison. Rita knew what she was doing. She jumped on every Koopa with Mario, on every Goomba, and even rode Yoshi at the end. Alison was a little frustrated at the end.

"Of course. Another stupid round."

"I played this a lot in my childhood. I know what to do. The 80's rock."

Amira and Lincoln really started to get along. They also noticed that they had some common interests. For example video games. But both of them got bored despite everything.

"What do you think of Minecraft on PS4?" asked Lincoln.

"Controller control in Minecraft is too difficult for me."

"What about another game? Like Terraria?"

"Nope. Not the type of game I like."

"Okay."

Both considered. Lincoln noticed Amira playing with her hair, wrapping it around her finger. At the same time, her eyes stared at the ceiling, and she bit her lip lightly.

"What are you doing there?" asked Lincoln.

"I'm thinking. You went to the comic book store in beaverton, didn't you?"

"Yes. Wanted to get the new Ace Savvy comic book. Sadly it was sold out."

"I see. Hey, maybe the guy at the mall has it. There's a comic book store there too. We could go."

"You want to go to the mall with me?" asked Lincoln.

"Why not? It'll be fun."

"Okay. I'm in." said Lincoln happily.

The two walked to the mall and entered it. Both went to the comic book store. Lincoln looked for the comic book and found it. He went to the cash register and Amira followed him. Just as he was about to get his money out, Amira tapped him on the shoulder.

"Leave your money with you. I'll pay."

"Wow thanks."

Amira paid, and the two walked out of the comic book store. At the ice cream shop, Amira bought a chocolate ice cream for Lincoln and an ice cream with vanilla and chocolate chips for herself. The two ate it.

"What is your profession?" asked Lincoln.

"I do live streams on the internet."

"Wow. I didn't expect that."

"What is your dream job?"

"I don't know. It's difficult. What's your dream job? The livestream thing?"

"No. It kind of happened."

"What is your dream job?"

"Pilot. Like my parents."

"Why didn't you become a pilot?"

"I am scared of heights."

"That's unfortunate to hear."

"Well, i mean its good how it is. So, everything is okay i guess."

They finished their ice, and went on trough the mall. Also at the mall were Hank and Hawk, who apparently teased children of Lucy's age by hanging them on coat hooks in the mall's cloakroom, which was hardly ever used.

"I hate those two idiots. Nothing but trouble." said Lincoln.

"They should stop. Somehow it should be possible." said Amira.

She saw that there was a telephone at the entrance to one of the employees, with a connection to the loudspeaker system. She tapped Lincoln on the shoulder.

"And I know exactly how. Want to have some fun?"

Before Lincoln could answer, she walked to the phone, picked up the receiver, and Amira's voice rang out throughout the mall.

"Hank and Hawk, please come to the drugstore. Your shipment of custom made Extra Small condoms has arrived. I repeat, your shipment of Extra Small condoms has arrived."

The next thing Lincoln saw, Hank and Hawk were running out of the mall, tortured and exposed. Amira went to the cloakroom and nodded towards Lincoln, which meant come with me. They both hung the children from the coat hooks and Amira handed each five dollars.

"Get yourself an ice cream or something sweet."

The children said thank you and ran away happily.

"Wow. That was kind of cool." said Lincoln.

Amira smiled at him. The two walked on. Amira saw a photo booth.

"Come with Lincoln."

She pulled Lincoln into the photo booth by the hand and took pictures with him. The first time they smiled for the camera. At the second, they grimaced. On the third photo, they pursed their lips and pretended they were about to kiss. On the fourth, they both laughed. When they were done, Amira took the photo strip and shared it. She gave Lincoln the photo of them kissing and the one of them laughing.

"Keep that with you. It will be a great memory."

A boy of about fourteen approached the two.

"Sorry, are you Amiratastic? The streamer from Twitch?"

Amira looked at him. He wore a baseball cap, had brown hair, a red t-shirt and blue jeans.

"Yes. Do you want an autograph?"

"Yes gladly."

Amira took out an autograph card that showed a photo of her.

"Real name or Twitch username?"

"Twitch username. Theburger69."

Amira looked up and grinned.

"Oh my god. Is that you?"

"Who is he?" asked Lincoln.

"He's the guy who writes the dumbest and funniest things on live chat. Theburger69. Everyone knows him."

Amira signed the autograph card with, "For my friend and live chat clown, Theburger69."

She gave him the autograph card.

"Oh thank you. See you tonight on Twitch."

He ran away happily.

"Are you a celebrity?" asked Lincoln, puzzled.

"Just a minor celebrity."

The two walked towards the Loud House. While walking through the park, Amira saw a swing.

"Come on Lincoln. Let's have fun. Push me."

Amira sat on the swing. Lincoln stood behind her and gave her a push. Amira started swinging. She laughed, and Lincoln saw her hair shimmer in the evening sun.

While the news was on, it was quiet in the apartment where Rita, Alison and David were. There was a story running about a man who kept heaps of exotic fish. Alison wasn't thrilled about it.

"I do not like it." said Alison.

"I think I know why." said Rita.

"Keeping fish in aquariums is cruelty to animals."

"Says the one who ate a meat burger at McDonald's."

"I am just a human."

David got up and made himself a stuffed taco in the kitchen.

"Heart attack is guaranteed." said Alison.

David shrugged and walked down the aisle.

"He's brought up well." said Rita softly.

"Yes, but the way he eats, he'll end up in a coffin by the time he's thirty."

"Yes. A heart attack is certain."

The two heard a dull noise from the hallway. Alison and Rita walked over and saw David stuck in a window frame that was in the wall between the kitchen and the hallway.

"Something deep inside of me knew something like this was going to happen." said Alison.

"How did this happen?" asked Rita.

"Somehow my Taco flew trough the Window frame."

"Of course you did that." Alison Said annoyed.

Rita walked into the kitchen. There was the taco smashed on the floor. Rita grabbed his arms and tugged while Alison tried to squeeze him with her shoulder.

"Why do you want me through that thing? Push!"

Rita and Alison did that. They pushed him backwards out so they both fell on the floor.

"Are you alright?" asked Rita.

"Yes we are."

"David, I think it's best if you get ready for bed. It's already nine o'clock at night."

"Yeah okay."

It was late evening. Lincoln had put Lynn Senior's old black and white television in his room and was watching a film with Amira. Castaway with Tom Hanks. Amira and Lincoln lay together and watched the film. "It must be terrible to be so lonely in an Island." Said Lincoln.

"It sure is. But at least he had Wilson." "You mean his volleyball?"

"Yup."

The two watched the film to the end. Then it was 11:00 p.m.

"It's too late to watch another movie. Let's go to sleep." said Amira.

"It's way too early to go to sleep." said Lincoln.

"It's not too early. Actually, it's late. Normally, my live stream would have ended an hour ago."

"This day is too good to end so soon."

"Why are you saying that?"

"I don't know. I just love hanging out with you."

"I agree."

The two hugged. Amira wrapped her arms around Lincoln because of the size difference.

"I consider you a good friend."

"Same to you."

"I know how this day can end beautifully."

Amira lay down and pulled Lincoln to her. She wrapped her arms around him.

"You're right. I don't think there's a better ending to a day." said Lincoln.

"That's what I'm saying."

The two couldn't fall asleep quickly because both sensed each other. But by midnight both were asleep. At the same time, Rita and Alison were done with their jobs. David's parents were home again.

"Everything went like clockwork." said Rita.

"Wonderful." said David's mother.

She gave them both fifty dollars each. Rita and Alison left the house and went their separate ways home. Rita entered her home, went straight to her bedroom, and got into bed.
