Chapter seventeen: Identical conflict parties
Vanzilla pulled up in front of the Louds' house. The sisters got out with Rita.
"I'm glad to be back." Lana said.
"Horrible hotel." Leni said.
"What do you mean Leni?" Rita asked.
"The Hotel was dirty and horrible."
"A train was directly next to the Hotel." Lana said.
"The water tastes like Iron." Lori said.
"There was no clean spot." Lola said.
"And it was way to loud." Lisa said.
"Oh Lord."
"That's why we're glad to be back here."
She opened the door. The sound could still be heard in Lincoln's room. Amira and Lincoln started.
"What was that?" Amira asked.
"That was the door."
"Lincoln, what are we gonna do?"
"I know what."
"What Lincy?"
"I say im sick. They will stay out of here."
At that exact moment, Lana and Lola walked up the stairs. Just before the moment they were about to go to their room to sleep, the two stopped.
"We should check on Lincoln." said Lana.
"Why?" asked Lola.
"You wonder why? He's our brother."
"Good point."
Lola and Lana went to Lincoln's door and knocked.
"Don't come in. I'm not feeling well." Lincoln said.
The twins got confused.
"Are you okay Lincoln?" Lola asked.
"Yeah, are you not feeling good?" Lana asked.
"Yes. I feel dizzy and tired." Lincoln said. The twins ran away screaming. Now Lincoln and Amira were confused.
"Do you know why they screamed?" Lincoln asked Amira.
"No Idea. But it worked."
"Wonderful."
Amira grabbed Lincoln's shoulder and the two kissed again. Then Amira stopped. Much to Lincoln's chagrin, because he would have preferred to keep kissing Amira.
"Can I stay with you over night?"
"Yes! Stay."
Lincoln and Amira continued to kiss. Meanwhile, Rita walked into the bedroom she shared with Lynn Senior, ready for bed. Rita saw that Lynn Senior was holding Lily in her hands.
"What is Lily doing here?" Rita asked.
"She didn't let me go when I wanted to put her in her crip. She wanted to stay with me and you."
"Why did you want that?"
"Oh, didn't I tell you? She Had a Nightmare last night."
"Oh No. What did my little angel dream?"
Rita sat down next to Lynn Senior who was holding Lily.
"She showed me one of her little books with a dragonmother. And she showed me something. That ment that the dragonmother took her and kept her in her cave. And then she made an eating movement. So the dragonmother ate her."
Rita hugged Lynn and Lily.
"You're safe here Lily."
After the hug, the three Louds lay down to sleep. Lily slept between the two of them until morning without nightmares. In the morning Rita was woken up more or less rudely. Lily slapped Rita gently on the cheek. Rita woke up.
"Did you have a good dream sweetie?"
"Dada."
"Are you hungry?" Lily nodded.
"I make you breakfast."
Rita got up and carried Lily into the kitchen. At the same time, Lincoln and Amira were still asleep in bed. Amira hugged him while he slept, laying with one leg across his legs. She woke up. Amira began to hug Lincoln tighter. He woke up.
"What are you doing?" Lincoln asked tired.
"I hug you sweetheart." Amira said.
"Is it already morning?"
"Yes Lincy."
Lincoln moved. For Amira that was a sign that the two should get up.
"I need to take a shower Lincy."
"Okay. But look that Nobody sees you."
Amira went to the bathroom. Lincoln got dressed and went into the kitchen. There Rita and Lily ate breakfast. Lily saw Lincoln and clapped her hands happily. Lincoln went to Lily and hugged her.
"Good morning Lily. Good morning mom."
"Hi Lincoln. Did you sleep well?" Rita asked.
"Very good."
"Did Amira sleep with you here?" Lincoln blushed.
"Uh, yes?"
"And where is she now?"
"She takes a shower."
"Okay. Thats okay. What did you during night?"
"Sleeping. Why do you ask?"
"Just because."
Rita wiped some food off Lily's cheek with a napkin.
"Do you have plans for today with her?" Rita asked.
"Not really."
The three heard a scream from above. Lincoln and Rita ran upstairs to see Amira staring in shock at her hair, which was now pitch black.
"What the hell?"
"How did this happen?" Lincoln asked.
"I don't know. I watched in the mirror and saw this witch."
"How is this even possible?" Rita asked.
"I don't know. I only needed this one shampoo."
Rita went into the bathroom and looked at the bottle. And then Rita realized something.
"Luan."
Rita Lincoln and Amira went to Luan and Luna's room. Luan lay half awake in her bed.
"What was this bottle for!?" Rita asked angry.
"Oh. That was for Leni." Luan said very tired.
Amira jumped angrily onto Luan's bed and grabbed her by the neck.
"I will kill you! I will burry you! I take your body out of your grave, and kill you again!" Amira yelled.
Rita and Lincoln pulled Amira away from Luan.
"She just made a prank for Leni." Lincoln said.
"But the prank hit me!"
"But she didn't want to do that with you."
"That doesn't matter!"
"Calm down right now! That does change nothing!" Rita said. Amira angrily stepped out of the room. Lincoln followed her. She sat down on his bed angrily. Lincoln sat down next to her.
"I know... Luan did something really wrong." Amira grumbled.
"Is it that bad?"
"Yes..."
"Really?"
"I hate this black color."
"We could use bleach to get your blonde back."
"Good idea Lincy."
Lincoln got up and went to Lisa. Lisa sat on her bed and cleaned her glasses.
"Good morning Lisa. Do you have bleach?"
"Yes I have bleach."
"Good. Can I have some of it?"
"For what do you need bleach?"
"Luan pranked Amira and now her Hair is black."
"Then bleach is not the best option."
"Yes but she wants her hair back."
"Her hair could get white. I don't recommend it, but I have a bottle of a bleach which is not that poisonous, and could work pretty fine for hair."
"Perfect."
Lisa stood up and walked to a dresser, and took a bottle of Green Glas. On the bottle were warning signs, one with a dead fish and tree, and with a human that looked like he gets ripped apart. Lincoln looked at the bottle and then at Lisa.
"Are you sure this is the right bottle?"
"Yes it is the right one."
"And the signs?"
"If doesn't drink it, it won't be harmfull for her."
"Okay. Thank you."
Lincoln went into the bathroom where Amira was waiting for him. She had put her hair in the sink, and had her head on the edge of the sink. Lincoln poured some water into the sink, and emptied the bottle of bleach onto Amira's hair. Then the two waited. After ten minutes they washed Amira's hair with water. Her hair was light blonde again. Except for the tips, which were white.
"Oh god. White tips." Amira said annoyed.
"Looks kinda pretty nice." Lincoln said.
"I dye it or cut off the ends."
"I need some fresh air."
"Do you want to go outside yet?"
"You can stay here. I don't care if you come or not."
"Okay. I'm fine, Amira. I'll come with you."
The two left the house and Alison ran towards them on the sidewalk.
"Oh god. Not here." Amira whispered.
"What's wrong?" Lincoln asked.
"Everything."
Alison stopped in front of Lincoln and Amira. The three looked at each other tensely.
"Well hello mommy." Amira said.
"Hello couple crazy." Alison said.
Lincoln felt offended. Amira suddenly covered his ears and shot back verbally.
"Us and crazy, you're pregnant at fourteen. In six years you'll be living on the streets selling your body for some food. You're a slut who fucks everyone and I don't understand what my brother sees in you. He's probably just as retarded as you are. I wish that birth control had worked and you two were not a couple anymore."
"That's... Forget it!"
Alison walked away upset. Amira uncovered Lincoln's ears.
"That was funny. Come Lincy. Let's go."
The two kept walking. Meanwhile Alison went to the door of the Loud house and rang the bell. Rita opened.
"Its still morning. And my daughters are Back. Its a bad time." Rita said.
"Again? Do I need to go again?"
"I guess so. I don't want to make the situation worse again."
"Do you want to come to the next job?"
"We have a job again?"
"Yes. Did you forget it?"
"I had way too much to do the last days, I didn't even think about you."
"Have you forgotten me?" Alison asked angrily.
"I was looking for my daughters."
"Come or I'll force you!"
"Yes, okay."
Rita went to her room and came back dressed in her normal clothes. Then the two left as if they had never been here. Amira and Lincoln sat on the riverbank with their bare feet in the water. The two had a deep conversation.
"Don't get me wrong Lincoln, but sometimes I just want to sit in the next plane and fly away forever."
Lincoln got shocked and looked at her with wide eyes.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Everything is so annoying here. I don't like how everything developes in last time. My Brother got His Girlfriend pregnant, my parents have no time for me. I know, im 21. But still."
"Do you want me to come with you?" Amira smiled for a second.
"I think that would be kidnapping. Its just a thought I have."
"You are right. I wonder how my family would cope without me."
"They would be lost. You take care of them so often."
"Thanks. At least you see my effort."
Lincoln hugged Amira's torso and rested his head on her breastbone. Amira hugged him back. The two stayed like that for a few minutes. Then Lincoln looked at the water of the river, and got a sly look. He got up and picked Amira up bridal. Amira didn't know what was happening. Lincoln went into the river.
"Wait! What are you doing?" Amira asked.
"Prepare for flooding!"
Lincoln jumped into a deep part of the river and Amira screamed. The two dove a meter under water. The two saw each other and emerged. Lincoln looked at Amira and saw her boiling from anger.
"Oh you..."
Amira splashed Lincoln with water. Lincoln did the same. The two topped around in the water. Amira took Lincoln and dropped into the water with him. The two sank to the bottom of the river and sat on the brown sandy bottom covered with large rocks. Around them were beautiful clouds of brown sand in the water. The two moved towards each other, almost floating, and kissed. Rita and Alison ran into old friends. Liz and Victoria. More specifically, her mother. The three talked about what to watch out for about the twins. Then the mother of the twins left. Visit a friend who lives a little further away. When the mother left, Rita and Alison went into Liz's room. There Liz and Victoria sat on the floor. The two apparently had a heated argument. Because Victoria was holding her upper left arm and her lip was bleeding slightly. Liz had her hand on her cheekbone, which was red, and a clump of blond hair layed beside her. The sight hurt Alison and Rita.
"What did you girls do?"
Alison asked horrified.
"That looks worse like after a fight from my twins." Rita said.
"Victoria took a CD from me and brought it Back to late." Liz said.
"Then we argued and one thing came to the next." Victoria said.
"Because she brought it back to late?"
"Yes. I said on 9 a.m. and she gave it to me at 9:13 a.m. Way to late."
"Thirteen minutes... Come on. We'll take care of your injuries and then we'll see." said Rita.
In the bathroom, Rita and Alison anointed the areas where the twins had been injured. Amira and Lincoln were walking on the sidewalk. The two were soaking wet and walked barefoot to keep their shoes from getting soaked.
"Amira, you said that sometimes you want to go far away."
"Yes?"
"Where would you go?"
"In my mother's home country. Austria. Or maybe Germany."
"That's far away."
"Yes I know."
"But did you have fun with me in the river? What do you think of what we did?"
"I haven't had that much fun in a long time.
"Im hungry." Amira said.
"I would like to eat in a restaurant with you."
"Yes. But not with these clothes."
"You are right. We could change at Home."
"You can. I can't. I don't have clothes in your home."
"Just take some of Loris or Lenis clothes."
"Hmm... I don't know."
"Come on. I think her clothes would fit you."
"Okay. I think that's okay."
"Then come with me."
The two ran to the Louds' house. Amira first went into the bathroom and took a shower. Lincoln, on the other hand, went into Lori and Leni's room, and took Lori's clothes and Leni's dress. Then he went to the bathroom door and knocked.
"The clothes are ready!"
"Okay. Lay it in front of the door on the floor."
Lincoln did so, and went into Lori and Leni's room, and sat on Lori's bed. After a few minutes, Amira left the bathroom and Lincoln heard her going to his room.
"Wrong room! I'm here!"
Amira walked in the room of Lori and Leni, wearing Lenis dress.
"How do I look?"
"Really, really good."
"Thank you sweetheart."
Amira kissed him and then hugged him. Amira then waited for Lincoln to change and then the two went to an Italian restaurant. They both sat at a table across from each other and shared a pizza margherita.
"How often are you in a restaurant?" Lincoln asked.
"No. I never had a reason. Not even to go outside."
"You never went outside?"
"Yes. Sometimes for months."
"What? You need to go outside more."
"Nah, I don't want to."
"When you aren't enough outside, your vitamin D will go down."
"Yeah and I get sunburns."
"That doesn't matter."
"Yeah, I don't think so. I don't want to burn anything on my body again."
The two continued to eat. At the same time, Rita, Alison, Liz and Victoria were eating. There was spaghetti with tomato sauce and broccoli.
"So, I just need to know, how often do you fight?" Alison asked.
Liz started thinking. Victoria answered right away.
"Every two weeks."
"That's not correct, we fight in an average of ten days." Liz said.
"That's not good." Rita said.
"That's pretty normal." Victoria said.
"It's not pretty normal, it's normal." Liz said.
"Knock that off before you injure yourself really bad." Rita said.
The four continued to eat. Unnoticed, Victoria pinched Liz's leg. Liz lost it at that moment. She jumped at Victoria, wanting to stab her with her fork. But Rita grabbed her arm.
"Stop that! That changes nothing."
Liz calmed down.
"That's correct. I'm sorry."
Hours later that evening, Rita and Alison's job was over. While Alison was still spending time with the twins, Rita chatted with their mother.
"So, is that normal with those two?" asked Rita.
"Unfortunately yes. But both know that there will be trouble."
"Are you doing something about it? So, preventively?"
"Yes. Liz Asperger's autism makes things difficult. But it gets better with these two."
Rita and the mother of the twins went to Alison and the twins.
"Alison, home calls." Rita said.
"Okay. Bye you two. You are both pretty cool. So please don't fight anymore."
Alison stood up.
"Bye."
"Bye. Take care of you." The mother said.
Rita and Alison left the house. The sun was on the horizon and shone the last rays of sunshine on Royal Woods. Lincoln and Amira enjoyed this last moment of the day sitting under a tree in the garden of Amira's home.
"I like being here." said Lincoln.
"Me too."
"Are we going to hang out in your garden more?"
"No idea."
"Do you ever want to go out in your garden after this day?"
"Close."
"You should."
"I have a different opinion about this."
"I insist that you go outside more."
"Ugh, fine."
"Thank you."
"I do that for you. I hope you thankfully."
Amira hugged Lincoln and rested her head on his shoulder. Then the two leaned their heads together. Patrick observed this secretly in the house through a window. He gave them both a disgusted look.
"God what is wrong in your head? Such a devil."
