Chapter eightteen: Amira moves
Three months passed. Patrick went up the stairs to his room and opened the door. Alison was lying on his bed. She had a six month baby bump, was barefoot and looked angry.
"Hi how are you?" Patrick asked.
"I feel fat and my feet hurt. It took me ten minutes to take of my socks."
Patrick nodded and sat down next to her. He gently stroked her stomach.
"Feels nice."
"Don't you dare to say anything about my belly!" Patrick startled and went back a bit.
"I have to Apologize." Patrick said.
"Please stop such things."
"By the way, its that time of the month again." Patrick said.
"Oh No. I don't want to go outside with this monster." Alison said, and pointed at her belly.
"Don't call out Baby like that!" Patrick said upset.
"I talked about this belly you dumbass!"
"Woah. Calm down! Do you want that our Baby talks like this"
"I talk how I want."
"Going outside would make you feel better."
"And everyone would know that im a pregnant fourteen year old."
"Ignore what they say."
"You can say that so easy! Of course, a pregnant fourteen year old girl is nothing bad. Its really bad! What will the people think of me? Huh?"
Patrick had enough. He took Alison's hand and pulled her out of the house. Alison cursed. In the garden he released Alison by the tree and sat down. Alison forced herself to sit down.
"See. Feels good right?" Patrick asked.
"I would like it more if I Had shoes on. But I think that would be more painfull as it already is. And I didn't even remember how lawn felt under my soles."
"You haven't been outside late enough."
"Tell that Amira. She left the house only once last month."
"What is she doing now?"
Patrick looked at his phone.
"Its eleven in the morning. Mom isn't home, so she starts cooking."
"Im looking forward to 12 am."
"You mean when she calls us for lunch in an insulting way?"
"Actually no."
In the house, Amira was already cooking. along with Lincoln. Lincoln made a tomato sauce while Amira made spaghetti.
"You shouldn't let the sauce boil so hard."
"I'll try."
"Good."
Amira took a wooden spoon and stirred the sauce.
"Be careful. That stuff will burn you."
Amira stopped cooking and emptied the spaghetti water.
"I think the lunch is finished. Call the parents please." Amira said.
Lincoln opened a window, and looked at Patrick and Alison, and called them.
"Lunch is ready!"
Lincoln closed the window.
"Did it."
"Strong voice Lincy."
Amira and Lincoln took the food and carried it to the table in the living room. At the same moment Patrick and Alison came in and sat down at the table with Amira and Lincoln.
"What did you do outside?"
"Taking fresh air. What else?"
"Of course." Amira said.
Alison got up and lay on her back on the sofa.
"God I hate this. My feet hurt and I feel fat." Alison said angry.
"Is it because you are pregnant?" Lincoln asked.
"No. Its because im so skinny." Alison said with sarcasm.
"I'll take care of you. Put your feet up first." said Patrick.
"Stay away from her legs. You're going to torch her." said Amira.
Patrick looked at Amira.
"Are you always going to blame me for that?"
"Yeah you idiot. You burned my legs so much I had to have an operation!"
"That was just an accident."
"You say that every time! And you never felt sorry!"
"I feel sorry! Even today!"
"I know you don't!"
Patrick attacked Amira. Amira wasn't impressed and pushed Patrick away, causing him to fall to the ground. Patrick got up and wanted to attack Amira again, but Lincoln walked between the two.
"Don't fight please. You will regret that."
"I regret nothing I did to him. Payback for my legs!" Amira said.
"Stop please. Please agree with him that it was an accident."
"If you want that from me, you don't know me Lincoln! I will never agree with him!"
"Just agree for fuck sake!" Alison said mad.
"Fine! It was an accident if you believe that!"
Amira took Lincoln's hand and took him to her room. In her room she closed the door and glared at Lincoln.
"Next time, please stay out of the fight of my and my brother!" Amira said.
"Im sorry. I don't like it when you are mad. So I wanted to stop that."
"Well congratulations. Now im mad at you too."
"Please. That wasn't what I wanted."
Amira grumbled.
"Please. Please forgive me."
Lincoln took Amira's hand. She blushed, and took Lincoln's hand with both of her hands.
"Already forget Lincy."
Amira picked Lincoln up by the waist and kissed him on the lips.
"Those where the best three months of my life." Lincoln said.
"Me too Lincy."
Amira flopped backwards onto her bed while kissing Lincoln again. The two looked at each other.
"I love you Amira."
"I love you Lincoln."
The two cuddled. In the living room, Alison was still lying on the couch. However, her head rested on Patrick's lap. The two held their hands on Alison's stomach.
"I wish this fight would stop for once." Alison said.
"Me too. I'm tired of that."
Suddenly, Alison looked at Patrick with exitment.
"Did you feel it?"
"Yes. It kicked."
"Wow."
"How long until its here?"
"Two to three months."
"Not long anymore."
"How should we call it?" Alison asked.
"If it's a girl then I want to name her Amanda." Alison said.
"How about Roger as a boy?"
"Hmmm... Not bad."
Rita meanwhile lay in the bathroom and relaxed. But the calm did not last long. Because Lola knocked loudly on the door.
"Mom! Lana came to my side of the room with her boots! And now there's mud everywhere!"
"Okay, Lola. I'll take care of it in a moment."
"Hurry up!"
"Calm down!"
Rita stepped out of the tub, dried off, and put on her clothes. When she opened the door, she saw Lola who was extremely angry.
"Get Lana out of my room!" Lola said while jumping up and down.
"Calm down Lola. And its Not only your room. Its Lana's room too."
"Just get her out of there!"
Rita went to Lola and Lana's room, and saw that the whole floor was covered in mud, and Lana playing with izzy in it.
"Lana, how did you make this mess?" Rita asked.
"Uh, I don't know."
"Clean that up!"
"Aww come on. Izzy and me had so much fun."
"Clean it up!"
"Ugh. Fine."
Lana started picking up the mud and pouring it into a bucket. Rita stepped away from Lola and Lana's room and down the stairs into the living room. There Lynn Senior was sitting on the couch with Lily on her lap watching a documentary about tigers. They just saw a tiger lay down to sleep. And a British voice made a calm comment.
"Even the biggest cat needs a nap."
When Rita wanted to go to the couch, the floor creaked. Lynn Senior laid Lily down next to her, walked over to Rita and kissed her on the cheek.
"This hot bath was perfect for relaxing." Rita said.
"That's perfect." The two heard Lily giggle. They saw a young tiger playing. Rita leaned over the back of the couch.
"Do you like tigers?" Rita asked.
"Yes." Lily said.
"Honey, where is Lincoln?" Rita asked.
"He went to Amira."
Amira and Lincoln stopped cuddling and stood up.
"Its my bathtime. I'll be back soon." Amira said.
"Okay. See you." Amira left the room.
"And what can I do in this hour without you?" Lincoln said sad.
Lincoln sat down on Amira's bed and looked down at his hands sadly. But then he heard footsteps. Klara entered the room and looked around.
"Oh. Hello Lincoln. Where is Amira?"
"She is taking a bath." Lincoln said.
"I see. I got some less good news for her."
"Oh. What exactly?"
"Patrick and Alison need a room for their child. Amira needs to move out."
Lincoln got shocked.
"What?"
"I understand your reaction. But Amira is twenty one years old. She has to get my own place."
"Alison and Patrick should move out! Not Amira."
"I can't kick out two fourteen year old of which one is pregnant. No, Amira needs to move out."
"Don't refuse that because they are only fourteen years old! You can't kick out an angel like Amira."
"Now listen! Amira is way older and can live in an own place! She leaves, If she wants or not!"
Klara leftt. Lincoln was pacing, stressed, preparing for Amira to explode. After half an hour, Amira came to Lincoln in her room. Her hair was wet and she was wearing a red t-shirt and her classic pants.
"Hey Lincy. Did you miss me?"
"Yes. Listen, something bad happened."
"What do you mean?"
"Your mother wants that you move out."
Amira started looking angry, and runned downstairs.
"Wait Amira." Lincoln said.
The only thing Lincoln heard from Amira and Klara was that they argued very loud in a language He didn't understand. After an hour, Amira came into her room angry and sad. Lincoln immediately hugged her from the side. But Amira didn't hug him back.
"What are we gonna do?" Lincoln asked, while He closed His eyes.
"I don't know. I guess I need to Go to a Hotel and then I need to rent an Apartment. You don't need to worry. You have a place to live." Amira said sobbing.
"Then live with me."
Amira chuckled briefly.
"Your room is too small for us. That wouldn't work."
"Then move into our garage."
"What?"
"Yes. My sister Lori lived in the Garage once. It has a bathroom with a toilet and a shower, and enough place for us both."
"Both of us?" Amira asked confused.
Lincoln blushed.
"Well, I like the thought of Sharing a place to live with you. So we can stay together much more."
"But will you still spend time in your home?"
"Of course. I can't leave my family."
Lincoln picked up his phone and called Rita. She answered the call.
"Hi Lincoln. Why do you call me?" Rita asked.
"Mom, can Amira move in our Garage? Her mother wants her to move out."
"I don't know Lincoln."
"Please mom. She gets kicked out and has no home. I don't want her to become homeless."
"Okay. Does she have stuff she needs to move?"
"Yes. Why?"
"Because I can pick you both up with Vanzilla and move Amira's stuff in our Garage."
Rita hung up. Lincoln looked at Amira.
"You can move in!" Lincoln said Happy.
Amira didn't answer, but gave him a kiss on his lips. After half an hour, Rita rang the doorbell. Amira and Lincoln opened the front door. They open the front door and Rita enters.
"Hi. Do you want to start with moving out?" Rita asked.
"Yes!" Lincoln said excited.
Amira just nodded. She led Lincoln and Rita to her room and began packing Amira's things into the boxes. Klara entered the room after a few minutes.
"Oh. Hello Rita. What are you doing?" Klara asked.
"We help Amira move out." Rita said.
"Wonderful. Finally you take your live in your own hands."
"Shut up Mom! We all know you kick me out because you don't like how I am!"
"Wow calm down Amira."
Klara went to Amira's desk and took one of the screens. The four of them packed everything into boxes. After an hour, everything Amira had was in Vanzilla. They stood next to Vanzilla and said goodbye to Klara. Except Amira.
"Thank you for helping us." Rita said.
"No problem. I am sure Amira will have a great place with you." Klara said.
"It was mean to kick Amira out." Lincoln said.
"Lincoln, you can't live with your parents forever." Rita said. Amira grumbled.
"Don't you want to say goodbye to me?" Klara asked.
Amira looked away angry. Okay.
"Goodbye Klara." Rita said.
"Goodbye."
"Goodbye. And have a good time." Klara said.
Lincoln, Rita, and Amira got into Vanzilla and drove away. Vanzilla pulled up in front of the Louds' house. They got out.
"Don't worry Amira. I promise you will have a good time here." Lincoln said.
"I hope you are right."
"Oh yes. Our garage has everything you need."
Rita opened the garage door. They faced the empty garage, in which was a bed and the closed door to the small bathroom.
"Well... this is..."
"Don't you like it?" Lincoln asked."
"Its better then expected."
Lincoln and Amira jumped up and down, hugged each other and cheered. Rita went back to Vanzilla and got the boxes. In the afternoon, the garage was finished setting up. Rita had other things to do and was about to leave.
"I have to see what the others do. See you later."
Rita left the garage. Amira closed the big garage door and went to the normal door on the backside of the garage, and closed this door too. Then she sat on the bed.
"My new home I guess."
"I'm glad you're happy again." Lincoln said.
"More or less. But at least you can come over everyday to spend time with me."
Amira took his hand and pulled him onto her lap. She hugged him from behind.
"I love you."
"Love you too Lincy."
Amira ran her fingers through Lincoln's hair and gave him a kiss.
