Sonic POV
I yawn and try to stretch my arm but there is a princess on it.
The princess has also wrapped her leg around my body like I am a long pillow.
I look down to her legs and then I plop back down softly. I slightly turn my head not to wake her and I try to look at her face.
"She looks so peaceful", I thought as she snores lightly. My glance also goes down to her long eyelashes, to her pink lips and more down to her body.
"She looks like she works out a lot besides being a princess," I said as I glance at her arms. My eyes wonder down to her muscular quad that is wrapped around me and then down to her scar. I stare at it slightly and then look back up to her face and yawn once more. I gently move my hand and tap her on the head wanting her to wake up because we can't sleep all day. Her deep blue eyes open to mine and she looks at me for a moment and then down to her leg on me and she moves it away quickly.
"She must be embarrassed based on how she moved away, she acts so normal more than a princess does most of the time", I think and then I say
"Well it looks like you slept good princess", I say while smiling at her trying not to laugh. She once again blushed and stood up and walked quickly out of the cave. I watch her walk, while looking at her figure as she storms away into the fresh morning sun.
I turn around and I grab my armor and put it back on. I get up and stretch and I make my way back to the Princess and I watch her water bend shoes on her feet. She moves her feet and admires her work and smartness. I smile at her looking at her water shoes and say.
"Can you make me some too," I said smiling at her and only getting a scolding look back at me. I nod my head after looking at her expression and I change the subject.
"Anyway, how long until we get to your kingdom, I am starving", I say while moving my hands under my armor to rub my stomach. She simply ignores me and starts to climb a great oak tree ahead of us. I stare at her blankly as she leaves without saving what she is about to do.
I look around the area I am in and then I yell to the princess who is already halfway up the tree.
"Okay cool, I'll just stay down here and look around for some signs,".
She shakes her head and continues to climb quickly up the tree and soon vanishing in its thick branches. I sigh and look down from the tree and walk east of the cave we came from. The ground makes squishy noises as I take a step through the forest. I duck under branches, and I soon find a pathway through the forest and I look down it and see more trees.
"Maybe her kingdom is this way," I ponder.
I turn around to go find the princess to tell her I found the way to the kingdom.
"AHHHHHH".
"A…...scream?", I hear, and I suddenly think of the worst. I dash off to where I heard the scream not caring what I step on. Just hoping that wasn't the princess. I run through the trees a little more and then I hear a big gasp for air in a bush.
I slowly stop and walk to the bush closely. I move my hand to
behind my back and I create a little flame just in case if this was an ambush. I swing back the bushes to see the princess choking out a man in dark purple clothing.
"Uhh princess", I say, and she looks at me in shock.
She is still choking the man before but let's go slowly stands up and looks at me like she has never looked at me before. I cock my head and reach to touch her shoulder, but she dodges it and kicks me the stomach hard causing me to fall back. I fall to the ground and I look up to see her fist covered in ice and she strikes at the man before her knocking him out completely. Blood spewed along the grass and on her face as she looks at the man who probably just lost several teeth.
She then turns her head slightly to me and steps over the person she just knocked out. She looks at me like she wants to...kill me.
"Why is she looking at me like that, is because I walked off. I didn't think it would be a big deal. I didn't go that fa- ", I was caught off by her water bending all the water she could muster around her. I look at her and raise my hand up at her.
"Look I just walked away for a little bit I did not mean to leave you for so long", I said as I slowly tried to get up. I moved the smallest bit and all the water changed into sharp water picks. There are about 500 sharp water picks being threatened at me and I look at all of them and then back at her.
"Princess what are you- "
"SHUT UP" she said cutting me off
She says inching the ice picks closer to me. I do as I am told, and I ease myself back on the ground.
"Why is she threating me…is she betraying me? Maybe mother was right about the water kingdom, all they do is trick your mind until they get what you wa-... Is she crying now?", I think.
Sparkly liquid fills her eyes and she continue to hold on to the sharp ice in the air and she says
"WHY ARE YOU HERE", she says her voice cracking in the process.
"Wait princess what do you mean I was trying to ge- "
She shoots one of the sharp ice past my head and I duck just in time to dodge it. The sparkly liquid is now running down her face as she clenches her fist.
I start to get annoyed at this point because she could have hit my face.
"Look, I told you we can fight later but this is unnecessary right now, just drop the sharp icicles and let's head to Asendel, I found a pathwa- ", I say but get cut off by her sending all the icicles at me.
"Okay we are doing this", I think, and I jump fast and flip dodging a sickle that was supposed to go through my chest. I use a blast of fire to melt some of this ice, even though doing that caused more ice to come my way. I kicked a big wave a fire at the ice sickles and land on my feet and blast away through the forest as the ice still chases me, wanting to pierce my skin. I jump beside a tree just in time to dodge it, only to find the pink hair princess behind it. Before I can move, she freezes me up against that tree and freezes my hands before I can even produce my fire. I start to create the fire in my mouth before it is fully covered in ice. The ice freezes all the way up to my ears causing me not being able to move.
"MMMMM", I say muffled and I try to move but I just can't. I look down to her tear stained face and she simply wipes her tears and water bends an octopus like tentacles around her arm. She makes the ice on her arm super sharp like a sword replaced someone's arm and looks at my stomach area.
"She is going to stab me", I thought, and I looked at her as she looks at me with no emotion. She slowly raises her arm and I breathe in hard, awaiting some pain.
"What made you come back Scourge", she says as she now looks me in the eye.
"Scourge? Who is that?", I ponder in my head. I look around and make sure no one else is near us to see who she is talking to. She looked at my behavior and uses her other hand and socks me right in face causing some ice to fall off, but it soon replaced with new ice. My eyes go spinning from the punch I just received. "Her punch was stronger than last time", I thought trying to control my eyes from dancing all around the world.
"I told you to never come back, never and here you are walking towards my kingdom…. AND TO DO WHAT TO IT," she yells sending me an ice sickle to my thigh.
I scream out a muffled scream from the ice. I feel hot blood leak from my leg and melt the ice.
"Okay that one was too much", I thought, and I suddenly burst from the ice with my free hand that was behind my back before I got frozen by her. The ice busting from me caught her off guard giving me the chance to grab at her arms and straddle her to the ground. She screams like I am about to kill her, which I was not, and I look at her confusingly.
"Princess please calm down, you are confusing me, and I don't want to get mad", I say but she continues to thrash along my grip. I watch her struggle and I gently create a body heat to reassure her that I am not going to hurt her. She squeezes her eyes shut and then opens them after looking at her wrists that I was warming with mine and the blinks a couple of times and looks at me confused.
"Sonic,"? she says
"Yeah"? I say as I look at her confused deep blue eyes.
She blinks some more times and then suddenly looks to her right and her eyes widen but about time I look the way she is looking, an arrow pierces through my lung.
I fall to the side of her and land on the ground. I touch the sharp pain in my chest and feel a liquid.
"Blood".
Amy POV
I watch Sonic fall to the side of me and I leap up into the direction of where the arrow just came from. I see nothing. I turn back around to the fire boy who just got an arrow shoved in his rib and I see him try to take it out but yells in the process at the pain. I immediately move down to his side I look at the arrow.
I look at his face and he have a pained impression, but he is still trying to make sense what just happened. He leans up but does not exceed based to the arrow.
"Don't move okay", I say and as I look behind me and then back to him. I put my hands under his arms, and I drag him away from where the arrow came from. I pull him out of the forest onto the pathway. He grunts a little to show that I am pulling him too fast.
"Okay, I am sorry", I pull him softly this time more to the other side of the pave way and then I hear a yell from the direction of where the arrow came. I look to him and he looks at me giving the same thought.
"Someone is coming".
I look at the blood coming throw his armor and then I look back to him. I think quickly and say.
"Okay I am going to pull it out and you have to burn the wound so you don't lose blood okay?", I say will moving around him to rest his head my lap. He then looks at me crazy and shakes his head but doesn't speak because it must hurt to breathe.
"Sonic I have to do it, if I don't you may bleed to death ", I whisper hearing the yelling come closer towards us. He takes a breath like he wants to say something but instantly regrets that and winces at the pain. He looks at the arrow for a second and then looks at me and nods. He grabs a random stick on the ground puts it in his mouth to bite down on. I nod and I carefully place my hand on the arrow. I freeze the entire arrow with water from the ground and his blood mixes in with it.
He winces as the cold ice goes into his hot wound, but he opens his eyes and looks around to make sure no one saw us. I then break the arrow into pieces and now the only thing left in his rib is a little metal piece from the arrow. I look at the wound and I raise my hand and reach to put my hand in there.
"If only I could blood- ", I say before getting cut off by my soldiers of the water kingdom looking at me.
"PRINCESS", they all say in unison.
My royal guard stands before me and looks at me and then the fire boy looking at them as he holds his open wound. The royal guard then reaches for me pulling me from Sonic and sonic head hits the ground and he flinches as his ribs move from the force.
"Guys wait, he isn't harming me", I say but the rest of the guard is too busy picking him from the ground and handcuffing his hands in specialized non bending material. Sonic doesn't resist and simply looks at the water guards pulling him up to his feet. The guards then look to me, awaiting orders.
"Guards please take him to the healing room, I am guessing one of you shot him in the rib with an arrow and it needs to be taken out and he needs stitching on his thigh and there is also a man in purple in the forest who needs to be arrested for attacking me " I say strongly and confidently , which makes Sonic look at me and smile a little. I evert my eyes from his gaze and I turn around and look at my guards. They then look at Sonic in the meanest way and based on his clothing I am sure they know who he is and where he came from.
Soon Axel, the captain of my royal guard runs up and looks eyes with me. He runs to me and embraces me. I hug him as well as he has been my friend since we were kids learning how to bend. He pushes me back to look at my face and then down to my body for wounds. I place my hand on his face and smile at him, letting him know that I am okay.
Before the other guards go to arrest the mysterious man in purple, they look at me as well. They look so happy that I returned to the kingdom. I move my hand to one of my guards' helmet, reassuring them I was okay, and they nod their head and turn around to go find the man and the others surround me to escort me back to the kingdom.
Axel yells "Escort the princess and the prisoner back to the kingdom and round up the one who harmed the princess", and the rest say yes sir. We begin walking to the kingdom of Asendel and I look at Sonic making sure he was not giving my guards any trouble and he just walks with no expression on his face once again but soon his eyes go to mine and he does a small smile and then looks back to the kingdom ahead of him.
MOMENTS LATER CLOSER TO THE CASTLE
My guards, the fire boy and I walk another mile down the pathway towards the kingdom of Asendel. Axel leans down and says, "Princess I am so glad you are well, but I must ask why the prince of the fire kingdom is out here with you", he asks. I look up to axel and say
"He saved me from dying there".
Axel looks at me with a pained expression and said, "Why did you leave after I told you not too, this could have been avoided and then we wouldn't be caring a for a hot head," he spats at me in a scolding way. I look at him and then see his face and then I look away ashamed. I knew his green eyes were staring into mine and, but I decided to look down to avoid any lectures. I move my eyes to the fire boy to catch him staring at me.
"He looks kind of weak" I thought, and he suddenly trips over his own feet and grunts out in pain because of the metal piece from the arrow is still in there. I look to my guards and say
"Hey careful! He is still in a lot of pain", I say, and they look at him and pull him up roughly back on his feet.
"Hey, your princess said careful, he said back mockingly. My guards the tighten their grip on him threateningly but Sonic's expression did not change one bit but he continued to walk.
I was about to say something else, but I started to hear voice ahead of me and I move past Axel to look.
It was my friend.
Rouge.
I see her and my heart jumps a few beats. I push past my guards and I jump into her embrace. She squeezes me tightly as her boobs press against my face. She pushes me out to make sure I have no wounds and then she looks at my face.
"Oh my god, Amy", she says out of breath.
She gently touches my face and then her eyes go to my guards behind me and her expression changes. I turn around to see what she is looking at and its Sonic looking at her. I look back to rogue to explain but she has already passed me and headed towards Sonic. I try to stop her, but she has already made her out of my way of my grip. Sonic stares at the woman heading towards her and stands a little but taller. She slaps him right in the face and Sonic doesn't flinch, Sonic suddenly shrugs the guards on him and tries to charge at rouge but doesn't make progress based on my buff guards holding him back.
I run forward at rouge and I stop her from hitting him again.
"Hey, stop he saved me and has done nothing wrong", I said to her and she looks back at me with angry eyes and says
"He is the reason why we were scared of losing our princess, we searched for hours when I got separated from you, praying you didn't get caught and you did… WHY ARE YOU BRINGING HIM TO THE KINGDOM. I look at her and say calmly
"He saved me rouge, he wasn't trying to harm me the whole time and he just wanted to escort me back here," she looks at him slowly after my statement and then looks back at me. "Then have your guards drop him here and let him walk back to where he came, you are back to the kingdom, so his deed is done".
I look to Sonic and my eyes wonder to his wounds created because he was trying to get me back here.
"After I heal his wounds", I say sternly, and I motion my guards to take him to the healing room. Rouge looks at me shockingly and watches the guards take him into our precious kingdom. She steps up to me and says, "Are you kidding me, you are bringing a ticking time bomb into our kingdom because you owe him some debt, if you really want to save him you should leave him here".
I look at Sonic ahead of me being dragged into the kingdom and I say "It's fine, if he wanted to hurt Asendel then he would have killed me in that jail cell… I trust him, okay," I say then I walk forward to my kingdom and Axel and his men follow me.
Axel taps my shoulder as we all walk back to the kingdom and I look at him with and I stare at his red hair that looks like he hasn't cut it since I left. "General Rouge does have a point princess, Prince Sonic of the fire kingdom could be very dangerous to our kingdom and may scare many citizens... what If he were to-,"
"If he were to betray me? Then I will kill him where he stands…
Simply", I say as I cross the gates to my beautiful, heavily missed kingdom.
