Amy POV

I watch from afar as they punch Sonic in the stomach. I secretly clench my fist as I watch them hurt him. I watch them laugh and I take a step. I stop suddenly thinking about what Sonic said before.

"Also, no matter what happens. Don't let them know it's you…I don't care if I'm getting hit or what…put your feelings in your pocket and stay strong okay",

I can't help him, or it will blow his cover. My heart breaks as I see him try to catch his breath. I try to think of ways on how to stop this, but nothing comes to mind. MY train of thinking gets thrown off every time Sonic makes a noise in pain.

Sonic then throws his head back hitting the big guard in the nose and I watch as blood falls from it. Sonic gets free from his grip and the guard looks at him angrily. I watch Sonic break the ice cuffs I made with his. knee and he dodged a punch the purple echidna but the hedgehog kicks him on the floor. The grey hedgehog quickly grabs Sonic by his hair and throws him into a random room with big doors. I hear Sonic body hit the floor in the room and I run before the doors close.

I walk in and I look around the big sanctuary. The walls are gold and the floor marble. The ceiling was a big window that let the moon shine in giving the room a dim lit glow. There are stairs ahead leading to a throne, the throne is also gold and it shines in the moon light.

Sonic's coughing causes me to look at him. I run up to Sonic and I grab him by the arms, he swings at me and I dodge it just in time.

"He almost hit me" I think feeling a little sad.

He looks at me and notices it's me. I ignore his apologetic face and I pick him back up by the shoulder. We walk closer to the throne and I drop Sonic right beside me. While waiting, I try to contain my eagerness for the leader to show up. I turn around and I see that the guards are staying near the door.

"Maybe that's where they are supposed to stay, but that is a good thing...that means we can strike first at the leader".

Sonic more coughs as he is on his knees.

"They hit him so hard" I thought as I clench my fists as he continues to cough. I soon hear the doors open from behind me and big guards walk in a square form. I also see the someone in middle of the little form of the guards as they walk in unison. The sounds of the boots, hitting the floor, makes this situation more intense than it was when we first walked in. They walk past us and the back of the leader is revealed. I eye the leader up and down from his back. Sonic sits up and looks at the leader as well.

"So, the leader is a male"

He is wearing a black cloak with purple stripes going through out his cloak. There are also yellow stars on the ends of his cape matching with the some of the stars on the back of his pants. The guards open the square form for the leader to walk through. The leader takes his time going up the steps and sits down.

The cape covers his face creating a shadow over it…

The guards move from there post after the leader sits down and they take their place surrounding the throne. They strongly hold big swords and a fist behind their backs. They are also in uniform as well. Purple, black and silver shining through proudly.

The leader crosses his leg on the large throne looks down to us. His blue eyes shine throughout the darkness of his cape and he stares us. He then looks to Sonic looking at him. He smiles big with his sharp teeth showing through the shadow of his cloak. His eyes soon move to mine and he switches legs and crosses them. I bow slightly and I choose to speak first.

"I brought the prince of the fire kingdom to your leader" I say smacking Sonic on the back of the head, barely fazing him as his eyes are glued on the leader ahead of us, " He is hot headed as usual but you know the fire kingdom can be brought down. It was easy capturing him, like taking candy from a baby… a fire bending baby" I say looking back up to the leader. I get some deep chuckles in room that send chills up my back.

"He really has some tough guards here" I think and then I continue to talk.

"It was hard work of trying to get him here leader, so I hope you look on my accomplishment for the kingdom. Now hopefully our plan for equal peace can be prevailed and you should can take your place as ruler over this world and wipe out all fire benders from this planet. So that we… the benders who create peace and create the world shall flourish because you're your confidence", I say, and I finish by bowing again.

The leader still says nothing, and his eyes move back to Sonic.

The leader then exhales and starts to speak

Sonic POV

"Thank you for that speech, Equalizer. Your good deed will be shine upon." He says while eyeing me.

"And… well isn't it the prince of the fire kingdom", the leader says loudly shaking the room with his voice.

He then looks at Amelia and then looks back to me.

"How I have waited to meet you prince", he says while standing up.

"After years and years of your mother destroying countless kingdoms and your father being her little follower. We finally have the chance to meet in person and what a turn out it has become! One of my equalizers have finally brought you to me in perfect health".

He takes slow steps down this throne and heading towards me. I stare at him and I hear Amelia gasp a little and she takes a step back. I look at her and I notice her hands are clenched.

"She is shaking… why is she afraid?", I thought, and I stand up looking back to the leader. The leader then stops have way on the stairs and looks at me and Amelia. He then turns back around and heads back to his seat. I look at him in confusion and I start to hear Amelia breathing through her masks. The leader hears it too and looks at Amelia with concern.

"Are you breathing okay equalizer, you seem tense" he asks, and Amelia says nothing.

"You do know the fire kingdom who put you in harm won't be able to do that again to you. I promise".

Amelia continues not to walk and my heart drops as I notice Amy is not going through the plan anymore. She was fine before he started talking so what is going on.

"Maybe you should take off your mask so I can see the champion who brought the prince of destruction to me", he says, and Amelia still says nothing.

I freak out inside as she still doesn't move. She soon comes back to life and says.

"I am fine with my mask on, the fire prince burned my face and I need to heal it before you see it leader", she says.

"I do not care if your face is missing an eyeball, I want to look at my brave equalizer who brought our number one plan into my kingdom today, he says proudly.

"I feel uncomfortable doing that leader, I am sorry", she says bowing her head.

The leader scoffs and talks loudly in the big room.

"I am very positive that it cannot be as bad as it as this". He pulls his shirt down revealing a scar of what looks like a sword

The leader soon stands and walks down the steps slow once more. Amy head perks up from the sounds of boots hitting the marble stairs.

"Surely it cannot be this unbearable. You are a hero to the world now and that hero will be looked upon all equalist" he says while going down two more steps.

Amy flinches at his loud footsteps.

"She needs to calm down before we get caught... what is going on", I thought as I looked back to the leader walking.

"You and I both know that the fire kingdom has brought such pain to the rest of the world. Destroying countless of kingdoms and killing many benders in the process", he booms in the room while crossing his hand behind his back.

"The fire kingdom has no place here, you know that, which is why you brought him to me today to end this, soon the world will be free and we will wipe out the world of fire benders", he looks at me finishing his sentence and then looks back to Amy.

He steps on the marble floor and walks slowly over to Amy.

"You are the chosen one we all dreamed about, after all our sacrifices you finally appear before me. Our light in the dark", he says walking up to Amy.

Amelia knees buckle as he steps closer.

He stops right in front of Amy and says

"Reveal yourself to me',

Amelia shakes he her head and takes a shaky step back

He chuckles and notices her stepping back.

"How about I reveal myself first then... hm"

He takes off his hood and his green fur shines through the moonlight. He was a green hedgehog with a sharp teeth and an evil smirk.

"My name is Scourge, leader of Equalist, savior for all benders that don't burn down our beautiful earth". He says looking at me and then turning his focus back on Amelia

"Okay your turn…. equalizer", he says and takes a step towards Amy. Amy shakes her head and falls back, landing on her butt. My heart starts to beat fast as I watch her on the ground.

"Aww why so shy, you must be one of my most humble equalizers." He says moving closer to her. He leans down to her and reaches for her mask. I continue to watch trying to hold back and I watch as he grabs onto her mask. I move as he tries to take it off, but my body doesn't move.

"Why... can't I move" I thought as I fall to my knees and then my body turns the other side facing away from Amy and the leader. I try to move my arms, but they don't move. I feel pain move through my body and I soon fall to the ground on my knees.

"What's happening… why can't I move",

I notice Amy's mask is on the floor.

I slowly look up and I see that her robe is down as well.

I see her face and I notice that tears are leaving from her eyes.

She looks scared.

I try to force myself up, but I can't. It almost feels like I don't have control over my own body.

"I can't let her get hurt again… not when we are so close to our goal…. both of our goal. I almost promised to protect her, but I can't move! COME ON BODY MOVE!" I scream loudly in my head as her tears running down her face appears in my mind.

I refuse to have anyone I care about to be in a situation when they feel weak.

I need to move but I can't.

I try to lean my head up, but it gets right back down to the ground.

"I can't even see her face because of my body going against me.

I let my body move on its own, and my heads pushes into the ground.

The dark flame insides me clicks inside me causing me to heat up. My anger boils as I don't have control over my own body for some reason I can't figure out.

"… Fuck"
