Sonic POV

I look along the ground as I notice I am moving. The room is spinning of purple and a light blue.

"My head is throbbing so much".

I think as I start to look around where I am. I blink slowly and I notice that my arms are being held. I yank at my arms and I get pulled from up from the ground and now I am on my feet. My heads fall back as I can't control my eyes from spinning. My legs soon go limp again as I feel loopy.

"I must feel this way because my head hit the floor so hard" I think.

"The prince finally wakes up from his beauty sleep", the recognizable voice from the grey hedgehog speaks.

I try to look at him, but my eyes continue to spin, and I can't see anyone.

"Man, you don't look too good", says the purple echidna. They both stop and suddenly water hits my face stopping the dizziness instantly. I shake the water from my face, and I look around.

"I am still in the castle but in a different part" I think as I notice the walls are made of steel and the temperature is a lot colder.

"I am pretty sure they are trying to put me in a chamber… can't let that happen… not now since I don't see Amelia anywhere.

I look around the area noticing that I don't see pink hair anywhere. I try to shrug them from my grip, but they have a huge grip on my arms.

"His and the princess's plan didn't look too good either" the grey hedgehog says pulling me forward so can start walking again. I try to shake them off of me, but they hold me still. We walk more down the hall and then we head down some stairs. Every step they take echoes in my ears, mocking me. I increase my heat and they notice. The purple Echidna twists my arm and I yell out in pain causing me to decrease my heat.

'Woah woah now calm down" the purple Echidna says while laughing. They continue to walk down, and we finally hit the bottom floor. I look around and I notice there is a weird pressure in here. They pull me to the right of the hallway, and we pass empty cells. I glance inside them and I see ice filling the entire room.

"All these chambers but they are all empty… why?" I think as we continue forward. I soon see a big red door. I notice that we are heading for it and it's the only one I can't see inside.

"Man, you are in for a treat" says the grey hedgehog. We meet the door and the grey hedgehog grabs the handles pulling it open. It opens slowly a blast of cold air hits me like a pile of bricks. I close my eyes shielding them from the cold and I slowly open them looking inside.

"I have never seen someone escape the red chamber room, so you better prepare for what's in store", says the grey hedgehog.

I look into it and I see a big ice block and hand cuffs embedded in them. It looks like they place fire benders in there and freeze them.

"What kind of shit is this" I think as they take a step forward to pull me.

"They are going to put me in that. If I get in that for even 2 minutes, I might just pass out… I can't let them do that.", I think and then Amelia face appears in my head.

I feel my chest thump hard.

"I… I have to protect her. She is only one who has truly listened to me for once and I want to get to know her more. This can't be the end .",

I look back up to the frozen chamber and I stare at the cuffs.
"I also have to protect my people… if they even come close to this they won't last. I have to stop Scourge now"

"We knew the whole time about this plan of yours... there was no way the Prince would be captured so easily... and now that your plan has failed, there is no telling what is happening to the princess now" says the grey hedgehog as he starts to laugh.

"Well based on the curves of that woman, I'm pretty sure we all kno- ",

They take on step forward while talking and I stop myself from entering by placing my foot on the sides of the door. They try to pull me in, but I push back harder.

"PULL HIM IN" the grey hedgehog yells at the purple echidna.

"I am trying" he yells struggling to pull me in. I look at the purple echidna and I shoot fire at his face with my mouth causing him to become distracted while trying to dodge it. I take this advantage to blast off the door sending us far away from the red doors. I smile softly as I move away from the red doors.

"I won't let anything stop me from reaching my goal" I think and the I place my feet on the floor. I use the blast from my fire, and I swing them off my arms. They lose their grips and they both fly different ways. I turn around and I start sprinting up the stairs to get back to the main floor. My feet echoes in the dark stair way as I inch closer to the light.

Suddenly water grasp around my ankle causing me to fall on the stairs. I look down and I see them bringing themselves up the stairs quickly. I try to take another step but the force of two big muscular guards cause me to slowly down. I shoot my fire from my feet harder this time and I take myself and them from the stairs. I fly out of the room, rolling on the ground until my back hits the wall.

I shake my head and I see them walk out of the stairwell looking at me minaciously.

"You think you really are going to get away… well you are dead wrong!" The grey hedgehog yells and then they both charge at me. I flip up quickly and the grey hedgehog throws a water blast at me. I dodge it by rolling on the floor. The purple echidna appears above me and shoots himself at me. He pulls back his fist and sends it near my face.

"This is it pun- "

My foot cuts him off as I flip in kick him in the mouth. I jump up and I swing my fist fast to punch the grey hedgehog in the face as the other one is too busy trying to recover from my kick. I sock the hedgehog in his face and the purple echidna jumps on my back. I shoot fire from my feet and I blast us into the wall. He falls off of me and hits the floor. I soon see water headed for me, but I shoot my fire at it and steam appears.

The grey hedgehog heads towards me and clinks his metal fists together.

"Come swing at me now since my hands aren't cuffed", I say looking him angrily. He charges at me and sends a water blow at my head. I dodge and I send a fire blast at him and ducks and it goes through a window cracking it. I run at him and I soon feel a water blast hit my back I fall to the ground.

"Round him up", the grey hedgehog yells.

I get picked up by the purple echidna and he holds my arms from behind my back.

"You are going in the chamber" he yells.

I scuffle in his grip, but he has me held solid. The darkness feels my vision quickly and this disappears.

"STOP UNDERESTIMATING ME", I yell

Fire blasts through my hand as I try to burn him, but I don't exceed. The grey hedgehog then runs at me and preps a swing for my head. I pull my feet up and I shoot him with fire causing me and the purple echidna to hit the wall again. The grey hedgehog dodges barely and I burn his arm a bit. He winces and he grabs his arm I burned.

"COME AT ME AGAIN", I yell at him as the purple echidna still holds me back.

I suddenly shift causing me to wide my eyes. The purple echidna moves quickly and I my head gets put underwater. The water from the fountain suddenly flows into my mouth and I start to drown. I grab his arms and I try to pry them from my head. My head slowly comes up from the water. I struggle to keep myself from the water as I push my arms up.

I look at the purple echidna angrily.

"You can't sto- "

I get pushed back down. I use my feet and I blast them up and over, but they still tackle me into the water. They hold my legs down. The weight of both of them makes it impossible to get up. The water enters my lungs creating a huge pain in my chest.

"I can't breathe", I think

I soon get brought up and I start coughing for air. I see an iron fist fly towards my face, and I dodge it while coughing harshly. I back up and I see the both of them stare at me.

"Why didn't you just drown me" I ask while shaking the water out of my hair as I stand in a fighting position.

"Our leader told us not to kill you", the purple echidna says taking a step towards me.

"Even though killing you would end all the turmoil the fire kingdom has ever created. We trust the leader because we know he will save us".

I back up from his step, eyeing the both of them down.

"That was a big mistake but if you let me go, I won't harm the both of you… we can forget this all happened.", I say.

Confusion fills their face and I drop my guard a bit.

"Maybe I can change their ways… right now by saying something right".

"We all can stop fighting right now and join together. Just like mom should have done years ago. I promise not to harm you guys if you just let me go and save the princess. We can work together." I say strongly.

They look at me and then each other and started laughing.

"Not a chance", the grey hedgehog says darkly and starts running towards me. The purple echidna makes ice on the wall and slides towards me.

"I tried… Amelia", I think.

I shake my head and I run at the grey hedgehog and he swings at me. I slide down under his arm at the last moment and I send a hook right in his stomach. He then falls over my shoulder and passes out. I turn around to see the purple echidna throwing an ice punch at me and I quickly move, and I use the face of the grey hedgehog. He hits him in the face, and he falls onto the floor.

The purple echidna eyes widen, and he charges at me angrily.

"You are going to pay for that" he yells running at me aimlessly.

I stand there and he sends water at my legs trying to freeze it, but I jump over it easily. He kicks his leg at me, but I grab it effortlessly and I lift him throwing him to the ground. He lands on his chest and winces and then he sends another wave of water at me on the ground and I duck, and I grab his arm. I pull it in an uncomfortable position, and I put my knee on his other arm pinning him down. I pull at his arm and he screams in pain. I sigh and shake my head as I pull harder.

The dark fire ignites in my chest and I don't try to resist it this time.

"Because I tried Amelia… I tried. Now they are forcing me to go to other measures"

The dark flames grow stronger causing me to lose consciousness a little.

"I need the dark flame power now to save you Amelia… its burning through my veins already and my actions that about to happen can't be stopped."

I come back to earth and I notice that he starts to kick his feet on the floor and yelling loudly.

I stop pulling at his arm, but I do not let go.

"Okay listen... you have two choices and since I am such a hot head to you guys then I will only give you one chance to answer", I say calmly.

"GET OFF ME YOU SON OF A BITCH", he yells.

"Break his arm for that Sonic" runs through my mind.

I jump and I almost release his arm. I look around for that voice I heard but I see no one.

"This must be the darkness speaking… is this what mother was- "

"BREAK IT NOW, HE REFUSES TO LISTEN TO YOU"

My grip tightens and then I slowly release it as I breathe slowly.

"I can have to control these thoughts" I think

"Not now. I need to find out where Amelia is", I say to the darkness in my head.

I sigh again and I start pulling his arm again almost break it this time. He yells loudly again, and I slow move it from that position again.

"Please let me speak, okay", I say looking at his face.

He nods and listens as he winces in pain.

"Thank you, now…. you can either tell me where Amelia is or I can rip your arm off and you can bleed to death", I say emotionlessly.

"RIP IT OFF NOW" says the darkness.

His eyes widen and he looks back at me.

"You are a monster", he says

"Well you guys double teamed on me so I think we are all equally bad, but at least I am giving you a choice of losing an arm or not…If I really didn't care I would have ripped this bad boy off already and gone looking for the princess, but since I am not trying to, I think you should give me the answer I want because you know what I am capable of doing.".

He looks around and then says

"He is taking her to a room… with big black doors…I have never been in there but when he takes people in there they never come out".

"Where is it" I say darkly.

"It's all the way down this hall, up three flights, you walk to the right until you see more stairs and then you go up 2 more flights and there it is", he says quickly and in pain.

"Thank you, see how easy that was"

He nods and waits for me to let go of his arm.

"But I'm pretty sure if I let you go... you are definitely going to kill me this time huh" I say cocking my head.

His eyes widen and he starts shaking his.

"No, you can go, you beat me fair and square, and the leader can deal with you" he says trying to convince me.

I cock my head at him and then I look out the window.

The sky is a dark blue now. The sun is rising, it's starting to get so much brighter…but I feel so dark. I blink slowly while turning back to him.

I place my foot on the ground and I press my knee into his back. From the force, I grip his arm and I rip it off clean using my fire and from my hands and feet.

I stand and I throw his arm to the side and I watch him yell in pain. I also lit his arm on fire making sure he couldn't get it back.

"I just remembered, I asked you once and you did not answer me correctly", I said as I watch squirm on the floor.

"After all this is over and maybe if you survive… you should try to start over and do something different with your life or you will definitely be seeing me again",

I turned away and I see the grey hedgehog still unconscious. The dark flame in me runs in my veins violently. I shoot fire from my leg and I kick him hard in the ribs making sure to crack them.

He hits the wall and plops back to the ground.

I walk away as the purple echidna continues to yell. I rub the blood from him on my pants and I sigh. The sun suddenly hits my face and I smile slightly. Inside I feel a dark flame lit in my body. Almost to how I felt when I was trained as a teen, to be emotionless, to be stronger than the fire itself, to destroy anyone in my path who intervenes with my plan, and to do everything to protect the people I care about.

The echoes from the guy's arm I just ripped off echoes from the down the hallway. The side of my mouth twitches as I sigh.

"He should have just listened to me and I would have not done that...

I stop in place and realize what I just did.

I should have not done that, I am trying to change for Amelia, but I can't control my-… no its his fault, he shouldn't have disobeyed me.

"No, Sonic. You did well. People should never run over you. Especially once you give them a chance. The more chances you give someone the less respect they'll start to have for you. They'll begin to ignore the standards that you've set because they'll know another chance will always be given. They're not afraid. They should be. They get comfortable in speaking to you irregularly. Never let a person get comfortable in disrespecting you." says the darkness.

A deep feeling of darkness flows over my body again and my mind goes blank.

I make it down the hall and I place my foot on the first step to go save to go save my princess.

Things are about to get a lot more violent from here.
