Heinz Doofenshmirtz felt that fresh sea breeze hit his face, something he was clearly enjoying; he was really excited, as he was heading to the United States of America, a land where he could probably have a happy life. One might think that he could've been disappointed and depressed; after all, his parents got rid of him by tricking him into buying groceries by disguising the ship as the "Schtor" just a few days ago, but he couldn't be happier; in fact, he considered this to be the very best day of his life, as he was finally leaving his horrible home in Gimmelshtump, Drusselstein, where he lived most of his youth with his abusive parents, who always preferred his younger brother, "Roger", especially his mother, and that was just because he was an all-natural at kickball, so he was practically the black sheep of the family, being forced to spend most of his time as a garden gnome, as the previous one had to be repossessed and they couldn't afford a new one. Even though he was already planning to run away to the U.S., he could not deny that this was probably the only good thing his parents have ever done for him.
After a long time, he finally could see a huge statue holding a large torch in one of her hands.
"That must be the Statue of Liberty" he immediately thought with a smile on his face, "I must finally be in New York City". He couldn't contain his excitement no longer, so he started to run around the ship like a little kid, but he had to stop when he almost fell overboard when he slipped on a nearby puddle.
After a while, the ship finally reached the seaport, to which to captain led the passengers out of the ship carefully, eventually leading them to a huge building where they were going to be checked. After he was asked a few questions, Doof was led into a very big building in where he would while he was inspected to check if he didn't carry some sort of disease. Once inside, they put him in a very nice room, much nicer than the one he had in Gimmelshtump, in where all of his belongings have been piled up. Since he was a bit tired, he decided that he should take a nap; as he laid on the very comfy bed, he thought that he certainly could have a perfect life there; of course, he first needed to find an apartment and a job.
In present day, Doofenshmirtz was reminiscing about that day as he was lying on his couch, staring at a picture of himself when he was a young man selling hot dogs. Those were wonderful days!
"I know I could've told it the whole story to Perry the Platypus, but if I did, it wouldn't have been a tragic villain story" he thought to himself happily.
