Chapter 11 - The being that fights evil his name is DUO, confront the darkness within
After the last Elemental was defeated each of the locations of where they all appeared all started to glow then lights of each of there colors soon connected to where the they first appeared which is Vale then a bigger light was made connecting the planet to the comet where DUO awaits seeing this happens Yushai and the Seekers, Hustler and the anti huntsmen, finally Ozpin along with his group all prepare to go meet the him.
Yushai: alright guys are you all ready?
Robin: yup l'm all set.
Melia: so am I.
Cid: remember there's a chance that Ozpin and his group along with who he is fighting against will make there move soon.
Kallian: don't worry me and the others will take care of them while you all go met DUO.
Tyrea: and be careful we don't know what will happen while you are all in there.
Nia: or what will happen.
Yushai: don't worry we'll be fine okay everyone let's go.
The Seekers: yeah!
With the Huntsmen.
Ozpin: is everyone ready Ironwood?
Ironwood: yes they are but Ozpin we aren't sure what awaits them once they are inside.
Ozpin: don't worry they'll be fine Qrow I need you to be prepared for anything when our enemies come and make sure none of them get by you.
Qrow: I won't…
Glynda: I hope nothing terrible happens while they are in there…
Ozpin: don't worry team RWBY will be fine.
Glynda: you said that the last and they were badly injured and now we are sending them into the unknown.
Ozpin: don't worry Glynda they have faced tougher challenges then this after all they are the best of the best.

Ozpin: now everyone get our huntsmen ready.
With the anti huntsmen.
Hustler: it's time to meet DUO… Shinn, Neo I need you two to handle any huntsmen who might try to get inside.
Neo: *nod*
Shinn: we won't let a single one through!
Hustler: good let us be off.
With Salem.
Salem: so the path leading to the one who wants to destroy Remnant has appeared hmmm Mercury, Emerald, Hazel you are to infiltrate without being seen.
Hazel: … it will be done.
Mercury: hi where's Watts he doesn't seems to be here?
Emerald: I didn't see him either.
Salem: he is still at atlas gathering information on what is happening there for now it will only be you three now go.
After that the three soon left heading towards Vale where the portal that leads to DUO the scene changes to Vale team RWBY are the first to arrive in front of the portal as they prepare to head inside first before the other factions arrive.
Ruby: okay this is it we will finally meet this DUO guys.
Qrow: Ruby remember to be careful who knows what might be in there.
Yang: well be fine uncle and we'll be back before you know it.
Team RWBY then entered the portal soon the anti huntsmen attacked with Shinn along with Neo defeating and killing most of the Huntsmen and huntresses while they fight the rest Hustler soon entered the portal at the same time Salem's followers secretly got inside as well soon the Seekers arrived Yushai and the others are already transformed lands in the middle of the fighting.
Kallian: Yushai, Robin, Melia go me, team JNPR and the others will handle this.
Yushai: right good luck everyone!
Melia: be careful Kallian, Tyrea!
Tyrea: don't worry we'll be find.
Robin: you too Nia.
Nia: don't worry about me you should worry about yourself but I'll be careful.
Yushai and the others then entered the portal when Qrow saw this he tries to stop them but is stopped by Kallian.
Kallian: sorry but I won't let you enter.
Qrow: mean what a pain.
(Bomberman Jetters Hige ring tower)
The scene changes to Yushai and the others who are inside the Comet now.
Yushai: looks like we made it inside.
Robin: we should hurry team RWBY and possibly others are ahead of us already.
Yushai: your right lets hurry!
The three soon started fighting there way through the enemy that are here at the same time Team RWBY are also seen fighting these machines as well, Salem's forces are also seen having trouble dealing with the enemy as well.
Mercury: seriously these guys just keep coming!
Emerald: I don't think we'll last long if this keeps up!
Hazel: we just have to reach this DUO we don't need to fight this many enemies just get by them and ignore the others!
Salem's followers then started hurrying deeper into the comet so they can meet DUO the scene changes to Yushai and the others who also started ignoring most of the enemies and started heading deeper inside as well after a few hours Yushai and the others spotted Hustler talking to someone which looks like a robot but far more advanced and has a giant metal gauntlet this is DUO.
(Mega Man Zero 3 Exiled one Omega)
Hustler: so it is true you have been to our world back in the forgotten and lost Era.
DUO: yes it is true and where I met the very first Mega Man and just like you I sense something terrible on this planet.
Hustler: I see I just came here to confirm who you are and your connections to earth is now that I know I will be leaving.
DUO: I know you are testing that Mega Man like you I to must know if he can live up to the legacy his previous predecessors that came before him.
Hustler nods to that then he leaves Yushai and others are seen by the two but Hustler walks by them the three soon meets DUO for the first time.
Yushai: so your DUO.
DUO: indeed I am and I assume you have a lot of questions.
Yushai: I do and so do my friends and comrades.
DUO: I see but there's one more test you must face before you can fight me, Hmm?
Soon team RWBY arrived and so does Salem's followers who soon went into hiding so no one can spot them but DUO knows they are there.
Ruby: that is DUO?
Weiss: he's a machine an advanced one as well.
Blake: but it looks like Mega Man beat us to him already.
Yang: are you serious but we had a head start!
DUO: since all of you made it here all of you are going to have the test.
Ruby: test?
DUO: yes and the test is … facing the darkness within yourself.
DUO creates a powerful light which blinds everyone including Salem's as light shines on them all there shadows started to become darker and then they started to rise and take solid form once it died down Yushai and the others quickly turned around and saw there shadows as they prepare to attack them.
DUO: show me what you all are capable of, if one of you defeats your shadow first you will have the right to face me I will be waiting further inside.
DUO warps further inside to wait for the victor as for Yushai and the others they prepare for the fight of there lives.
(Mega Man battle network 4 battle with myself)
Then everyone started fighting against there own shadows that represent the darkness within.
Yushai: these guys are strong just like us!
Robin: your not kidding it truly feels like we are fighting against ourselves.
Melia: it does only that they don't hold back.
While Yushai, Robin and Melia fight there shadows team RWBY is having a much harder time dealing with there's.
Ruby: no matter what we do they seem to do the same things we can!
Dark Ruby: of course we can it's because we are you!
Weiss: so they can talk?
Dark Weiss: of course we can talk we're your darkness after all.
Blake: our darkness?
Dark Blake: yes your darkness representing the all guilt, pain and suffering you caused.
Yang: the stuff we caused!? Your wrong the one's who are responsible are the bad guys and those Mega Men who ruined our lives!
Dark Yang: oh really? What about all the terrible things our mom did to so many people by letting her bandits to do whatever they want to them do you really see her as the mother you thought she was.
At the same time Salem's forces are seen facing there own darkness.
Mercury: dammit no one told me about this!
Emerald: why are we all was dealing with crazy stuff all time.
Hazel: we were so close but that person DUO knew we were here all along!
Back with Yushai and the others they were really having a hard time dealing with there shadows no matter what they do there shadows all was countered them.
Robin: no matter what we do they will all was counter us.
Melia: we need a plan.
Yushai: I might have an idea Robin, Melia work together to take down one of them.
Robin: are sure that's a good idea you will be facing the other two on your own.
Yushai: don't worry I can handle two on one just focus on one of them.
Melia and Robin: got it.
Then Melia and Robin focused on Robin's shadow first knowing that he might be threat to them, both of them hammer there strongest attacks against shadow of Robin the original Robin finishes it with a Giga crusher destroying the shadow.
Robin: one down two more to go!
Melia: let's hurry and save Yushai.
Robin: right lets hurry!
The two then goes to help Yushai who is having a hard time against his and Melia's shadows.
Melia: Yushai!
Robin: we got your back!
Yushai: thanks guys lets finish this!
Robin and Melia: right!
The three soon started fighting against the last two shadows Melia along with Yushai takes on her shadow while Robin keeps Yushai's shadow busy the two started fighting Melia's shadow as it takes a lot of damage from them Melia soon finishes it with her spear running through it's body it disappears confirming it's defeat the then started helping Robin take down Yushai's shadow which is far stronger.
Robin: Yushai I gotta admit your shadow is definitely showing how powerful you really are and why you chose to hold back.
Yushai: I'm glad you guys noticed.
Melia: when me and Robin fought your shadow we only did little damage to it.
Yushai: I see, well then let's see if it can handle all three of us.
Robin: lets try it then.
Melia: together!
Yushai: alright go!
The three then started attacking together giving the shadow no room to breathe or counter attack Robin fires homing shots at the shadow and Melia attacks with light attacks this hurts the shadow more and more Yushai then does a triple slash then finishes it with a charge shot taking the shadow down and ending the fight as the shadow was about to disappear he looks at Yushai and says something.
Dark Yushai: how much longer must we suffer and sacrifice…
Yushai: …
(End of music)
The shadow soon disappeared meaning the battle is over and they past the test then a portal opened up leading to where DUO is waiting for them the three walks into it leaving the area Ruby and the others noticed this.
Ruby: huh they passed there test?!
Dark Ruby: why shouldn't you be surprised after they have something you and your team mates don't have even when you kept on rejecting the truth!
Dark Ruby kicks Ruby back and continues to attack her the scene changes Yushai, Robin and Melia are seen in a different that is showing outer space and a path leading to where DUO is waiting for them.
(Mega Man Network Transmission Zero Gravity)
Robin: where are we?
Melia: it looks beautiful look at all the stars.
Yushai: guys I think we are in the comet which is showing us outer space look over there it's Remnants moon.
Melia: your right I can see it from here this is incredible.
Robin: hmm you know I keep wondering why any of the rocks of our moon isn't falling to our planet.
Yushai: Guys focus we have to go find DUO.
Melia: I'm sorry I was to amazed by what I was seeing.
Robin: your right lets keep going.
The three soon started moving further inside of the comet and taking down many androids that were standing in their way which was a sign that they were getting closer to where DUO is as they get closer to him they see many planet, stars, Galaxies comets and solar systems finally they reached DUO and behind is a planet with a moon that isn't destroyed Yushai recognize what it is.
(Xenogears Omen)
Yushai: that planet it's…
DUO: earth you earth your home Yushai.
Robin: that is Yushai's home?
Melia: that's where Yushai came from.
Yushai: what are those object that are around it?
DUO: those are space colonies humanity's second home you see Yushai much has changed when you left and saved your world.
Yushai: it has?
DUO: yes and I visited once and met another Mega Man who is without a doubt your successor and another after him he was called Mega Man EXE from the network Era your friend and comrades help bring about, the other one that came after that Era is called the wave Era.
Yushai: the wave Era?
DUO: yes the Era where the time to explore and live in space and in that Era was Mega Man Starforce the next successor.
DUO shows Yushai his successors the two who inherited the Mega Man name he was surprised by this and so was Melia and Robin upon learning where Yushai came from.
Yushai: this is incredible…
DUO: indeed you truly saved your world and allowed it to grow I even fought against the EXE one to see for myself was he worthy of the title he carried but I chose to not tell him or his successor about how important there titles are.
Yushai didn't say anything but he understood DUO's reason and that it was possibly for the best so that they won't have to carry the burden of what that name means.
DUO: it's time for us to do battle.
Yushai: yes I understand and once we defeat you, you'll tell us what you know about what is happening on Remnant.
DUO: that is correct now prepare yourselves!
(Mega Man battle network 4 boss fight DUO)
The four soon started fighting against each other DUO lasers from his gauntlet the three dodges the attack Robin fires homing shots at DUO hurting him a bit Melia also strikes with her spear and buster gun hurting him more DUO then counter attacks he summons a giant meteor down on them the quickly tried to get out of the way but they are caught in the blast and was hurt by it.
Robin: okay this guy is strong, really strong.
Melia: and he also has a lot of experience as well.
Yushai: he sure does but that's not going stop us let's keep going!
The three then started attacking again DUO then rains down a star shower on them the three gets hurt by it but they continue to fight on Robin fires both a homing shots and charge shot damaging him more Melia does the same attacks with a charge spear damaging him more then Yushai strikes with a triple slash but DUO blocks most of the damage but was still hurt by it then Yushai fires a charge shot damaging him greatly and pushing him back.
DUO: impressive you are indeed very powerful now I will use my full power RAAAAAAAAHHHH!
(Mega Man Starforce boss Andromeda)
DUO transformed into a colossal Mech which towers over the three but not just them but team RWBY and Salem's followers also see it too and they were terrified by it but they weren't the only ones who saw the shadow outside everyone saw it even Ozpin and Salem who sense how powerful DUO is, making two immortals feel like they were still children.
DUO: now let us continue!
The four continue there battle DUO fires a powerful laser from his chest the three dodges the attack then he lunches his fists at them which lands hurting them greatly Yushai and the others soon started fighting back Yushai fires a charge shot at DUO'S core which was the hole in his chest.
Yushai: guys his chest core is his weak point attack there!
Robin and Melia: right!
The three soon started attacking the core with everything they got while DUO attacks with missiles, lasers and his fists making this battle chaotic including dangerous as the three keeps taking heavy damage from DUO whose also starting to feel pain from there attacks.
Robin: keep going don't stop!
Melia: no matter what!
Yushai: attack together and don't hold back!
All three fires a combined charge at DUO's core once it hits it goes straight through him then DUO's Colossal form collapses then blows up.
*KABOOM!*
(End of music)
Inside and outside everyone saw the shadow disappear with team RWBY and Salem's followers they started to disappear for some reason.
Ruby: what's happening to us!?
Dark Ruby: isn't it obvious the test is over you are all being sent back outside.
Yang: what but we never got the chance to ask him questions!
Dark Yang: well to bad you all lost your chance and failed the test deal with it.
Dark Weiss: and it looks like you four are doomed suffer a fate worse then death.
Blake: worse then death?
Dark Blake: that's right your going to experience something worse and it will break you along with your spirit.
(Mega Man X 5 Dr. Light)
The shadows of team RWBY and the others soon disappeared then the girls and Salem's followers were sent back outside.
Meanwhile Yushai and his friends are seen talking with DUO who they defeated.
DUO: you have done well are worthy of your name.
Yushai: DUO can you tell us about what is happening on remnant.
DUO: yes I will tell this planet has died before and has been brought back to life time and time every millennia every civilization that was born on this world all was erased so no one can no the truth of there history.
Yushai: does this involve the enemy Ozpin has fighting against.
DUO: the answer is yes and no I also can tell you wish to know who this person Ozpin is fighting against correct.
Yushai: yes.
DUO: the enemy Ozpin is fighting against is named Salem but she isn't the true enemy.
Yushai: wait so this Sale is not the true threat?
DUO: no she and Ozpin are nothing but pawns to be used a bigger plan not only that the people of Remnant are not from this universe.
Robin: were not?
Melia: from this universe.
Yushai: DUO do you know who this true threat is?
DUO: I tell you because you and your group will become easy target but I will say this the closer you get to the truth and the history of Remnant they will see you as a dangerous threat and will target earth.
Yushai:!
DUO: said all I needed to say but before I leave I'll give this device use it when the time is right.
Yushai: okay but DUO this Salem Ozpin is fighting against isn't she evil.
DUO: let me tell you something evil can be created just like how a hero can be born continue down this path and you will without a doubt know the truth about Salem and a word of advice and a hint
Yushai: advice and a hint?
DUO: yes advice don't be blind by light and don't be deceived by the dark, the place that looks like dream but is actually a prison and a nightmare.
Yushai: … thank you for tell us DUO.
DUO: *nod* Farwell Mega Man ZX and good luck on your mission may we fight together in the near future.
Then Yushai, Melia and Robin are sent back to Remnant and the comet passes by the avoiding its destruction on the ground Yushai and the others have returned and leaves along with the Seekers Vale team RWBY has returned but was badly beaten by there Shadows, Salem's followers already escaped so they won't get caught and the Anti huntsmen has already left this situation cost the huntsmen greatly and it feels like the council might choose to end the hunter system system sooner or later.
(Mega Man X 8 fate to fight)
The scene changes to Yushai and Melia together on the deck of the air ship thinking about what DUO said.
Melia: so our true enemy has been messing with Remnant from the very beginning perhaps even before this world was called Remnant and he said we are not from this dimension I wonder what he meant.
Yushai: I don't know but if continue down this path we will without a doubt arrive at the truth and now that we know who Ozpin has been fighting against all this time we have to be on guard no matter.
Melia: Yushai… your right we'll find out the truth together.
Yushai: yes we will but for now I'll tell you and the others about earth.
Melia: I will like that.
The then hold hands together as they see the sunset knowing now more then ever they are getting closer to the truth.

At Salem's hideout Salem tries to process what has happened as she thinks about this Watts walks into the chamber.

Watts: well Atlas is in much more disarray then we thought.
Salem: I see.
Watts: also I have a present for you my Queen.
Salem: what us it?
Watts brings out his scroll and shows it to her and smiles
Watts: something that will benefit us greatly.
Outside of Salem's domain the hooded figure watches from afar and smiles.

End of Arc 01
That is another Chapter done and the end of Arc 01 Everyone hurries to met DUO but he gives them a test to face the darkness within themselves and Hustler learne how the alien robot knew about earth Yushai and his friends pass the test first and takes on DUO there they learned that earth has advanced and lives in space once DUO was defeated they are told about Remnants situation and how bad it was, Watts also returned and gives Salem something at the same time the hooded figure watches from afar with another plan already in place now on to the reviews.
To Gojira: yup the situation with the Huntsmen is very bad and it's going to get worse when the second Arc begins not only that but DUO also met Mega Man EXE during the network Era without a doubt Yushai will return to earth when the third Arc begins.
To Guest: yup it's very bad.
To Guest: trust me the situation with the academy is very bad and it's only going to get worse for them.
Alright everyone that is all I hope you liked this Chapter and everything that happened in it also I'm sure you noticed how team RWBY's shadows acted and why they where extremely more violent then the other shadows this is because of those crystals they used as Yushai's shadow you could say it is feeling the same pain he is that means he is being very hard on himself.
