Cristina finishes putting on her blue crop top, picking up a bottle of pink perfume. After applying the nicely scented perfume to her body she exited her bathroom and walked down the stairs into her living room.

"Bye mom, bye dad!" She shouts to her parents, who were both on their laptops.

Not even looking from their computers they both shout back, "Bye Sweetie, have a nice day." In a very monotone voice.

She frowned and left the house, closing the door slowly behind her, "Love you too." She says downtrodden.

She takes a deep breath, fakes a smile, and starts her trip to school.

During her walk she sees several people on bikes ride past her, and couples walking together, hand in hand.

"I wonder if someday, me and Lincoln could be like that." She thinks, a blush creeping across her face, as she holds her cheeks.

Opening her eyes wide, "What am I thinking?!" She mentally scolds herself, "Lincoln is so clearly into Jordan!" She moves her hands back to her sides, closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, "I gotta relax around him." She opens her eyes, "Showing him my bra the other day made my heart pound out of my chest…" She places one of her hands on her chest, "Is it bad that I wanna take him from her? I mean, they're not a thing, so it's not wrong to make him like me, right?" She thinks, her heart beating faster as she thought of the white haired boy.

As she continues walking she walks past a beach, she stops and stares at the empty beach, the sunrise over the water causing a beautiful visual. She squints her eyes, and ponders.

Lincoln walks downstairs and into the kitchen, grabbing a breakfast burrito his father had whipped up for him, "Thanks dad!" He exclaims before starting to walk away.

"Now hold on a minute, son." His dad places a hand on his shoulder, stopping him.

Lincoln looks back at his father, swallowing his food.

"Now, Lincoln, as you know LJ is out of the nest." He begins.

Lincoln nods, "And that means you're the oldest now. Which means it's your responsibility to get everyone to school on time." He continued.

Lincoln grows wide eyes, "But dad, I don't even-"

"Have a driver's license, I know. Which is why you need to get one." Lynn Sr. interrupted.

"But dad, I don't even really care about driving!" Lincoln tries to make an excuse to get out of it, but to no avail.

"No buts son, me and your mother already signed you up for private lessons, your sisters are counting on you now." He continued.

Lincoln sighed, clearly uninterested.

"You already did the class portion, now you just need to do the practical part with an instructor." His father said.

"Ugh, fine, I'll do the practice lessons." The white haired teen pauses, "When do they start?"

"Immediately after school today." He explains.

"Today?!" Lincoln says, shocked, "Why didn't you tell me about this sooner?!"

"Well I would have, but you're always disappearing on us." Lynn Sr. states.

"Oh…" Lincoln expresses, looking down, "Sorry about that, a lot's been going on."

"Trouble at school?" He asks, worried for his son.

Lincoln sheepishly rubs the back of his head, looking at his father, "I guess you could say that."

"Well, don't hesitate to talk to me or your mother." He pats Lincoln on the back, "You know we're here for you."

"I know, thank you dad." The teen expresses.

"Hey Lincy!" The curly redhead says sweetly as she approaches the boy from behind.

Before he knew it she wrapped her arms around his shoulders from behind him, pressing her body against his.

"O-oh! Hey Cristina!" The white haired teen says in shock.

"So…you wanna do something after school today?" She asks.

"Um…like what?" He responds with a shaky voice, a massive blush plastered across his face.

"Oh y'know, just hanging out, maybe…getting cozy?" She responds, her hands rubbing his chest.

"U-um, I-I'd love to Cristina! But…I have driving lessons after school today!" He responds with a still shaky voice.

"Oh darn, so close." She lets go of him and walks in front of him, "Maybe next time. Just know that I won't hold back like I am right now." She says sweetly.

"I…what?" He responds.

She turns around and walks away, swaying her hips more than normal.

He stands there, amazed at how forward she is.

"Hey Lincy." He hears a softer voice from behind him.

He turns around to be greeted by Jordan, "Was that Cristina just now?"

After a second of him rebooting he finally responds, "Oh, yeah…we were just…joking around."

"Yeah? It's nice to know you two are finally getting along." She responds, looking down.

"Yeah…" He pauses, "Hey Jordan…do you by any chance know how to drive?"

She looks up at him, confused, "Huh? Where's this coming from?"

"My parents are making me take driving lessons, and I don't really care about driving." He responds.

"Oh, well, I don't know how to drive. My parents also wanted me to do it, but it wasn't really something I cared about. I live close enough to the places I go, so I just walk everywhere." She explains.

"Dang, I was hoping you could give me some pointers." He smiles.

"Heh, sorry I'm no help." She says, smiling back.

"It's fine. You'll be making it back to me on Saturday anyway." He responds.

"Yup, good to know you're still coming." She says.

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world." He pauses, "Dinner with the prettiest girl in school and I get to meet her mom."

"Y-you think I'm the prettiest girl in school?" She says, looking down with a massive blush on her face, rubbing her arm.

Lincoln, now realizing what he's said, starts panicking, "U-um, of course! How could I not?!"

"T-thanks Lincoln…y-you're really pretty too." She responds, looking back up at him, still rubbing her arm.

"T-thanks…" He thinks for a second, "Wait…pretty?"

She giggles softly, "Do you prefer attractive?"

"Um…no, pretty is fine." He replies.

"Good, because I wasn't taking it back." She says.

"Yeah, I guess I'll talk to you later?" He asks.

"Yeah, talk to you later…" She pauses and walks closer to him, "Hotstuff." She leans in and kisses him on the cheek, walking past him and away afterward.

Lincoln stood there shocked, holding his cheek.

"Finally done." Lincoln sighs as he exits the school.

He walks home, slower than usual, due to him not wanting to do his driving lesson. Upon arriving at his house he sees a black car parked in the driveway. Walking past it the driver side window opens.

"Hey, get in." The man inside says.

Lincoln sees the driving school student driver sticker on the side of the car, and decides it's safe to get in.

Sitting down in the seat he gets a better look at the man. Looks to be in his mid 30's, brown straight hair, short-sleeved white button up shirt, black slacks, plain face.

After writing some stuff down on a clipboard he turns to Lincoln and addresses himself, "Hello Lincoln, my name is Mac Gargan, and I will be your driving instructor for the week." He said in a very dry and monotone voice.

"Hey Mac." The teen responded in a just as dry and monotone way.

"Alright, buckle up. We're gonna go around the block first, just to see where you're at." Mac said.

Lincoln buckles up and shifts the gear into reverse, looking in his rear-view mirrors and behind him occasionally, he begins to back up.

Pulling out of the driveway he starts driving down the road. A while down the road Lincoln pulls up to a stop sign, "Turn right here." Mac says dryly.

Lincoln flicks on his left turn signal and looks both ways to ensure there's no one coming. After confirming there was no one there, he turns left.

"I said turn right." Mac says.

"Oh, sorry! Do you want me to turn around?" Lincoln says, scared.

"No no, it's fine. Just keep going." The plain man said.

Lincoln continues driving down the road. He eventually makes his way back to his house.

"Alright Lincoln, as the final test I want you to back into the driveway." Mac said.

Lincoln gulps, he'd never backed into a spot before. He turns the wheel, lines up the vehicle, switches gears to reverse, and begins to back into his driveway.

"I'm doing it! I can't believe it! I'm doing it first try!" The teen thinks.

"Stop." Mac says.

"I think I might be better at driving than I thought!"

"Stop." Mac says, slightly louder.

"I don't know what I was so scared about, this is easy!"

Just as he finished that thought he ran the back of the car into his garage door. The Loud thud startling him.

He looks backward and sees what he'd done.

"Ugh." Lincoln grunts in frustration, resting his head on the steering wheel.

Mac looks over to him, "Hey."

Lincoln doesn't respond, he just opens his eyes.

"Just because you missed some turns and backed into the garage doesn't mean you're a lost hope." He continues.

"But I failed, at this rate I'll never get my license." The teen laments.

Mac puts his hand on Lincoln's shoulder, "Hey, you failed once, and we still have all week to practice. You'll get the hang of it."

Lincoln looks over to the man, "Really? You think so?"

"I know so." He responds, "We'll meet up again tomorrow, same place."

Lincoln lifts his head off the steering wheel, "Yeah, thanks Mac!" He says, clearly in a better mood.

"See ya kid." Mac responds.

"See ya Mac." Lincoln says with a smile.

And so, for the next 5 days, Lincoln and Mac drove around. Lincoln get better and better. And eventually, Saturday fell.

Lincoln walked up to Jordan's front door. Standing there for a second he took a deep breath, then knocked.

A few seconds passed before the door opened, Jordan was standing before him, wearing blue jeans, white crew socks, and a yellow blouse.

"Hi Lincy!" She said, wrapping her arms around him in a hug.

Lincoln reciprocated the hug, "Hi Jordan, it's nice to see you."

They broke off the hug, "Wow, you look great!" Lincoln said.

Jordan blushed, rubbing her arm, "Thanks Lincoln, y-you look good too…"

Lincoln was wearing an orange polo shirt and khakis, an old but good combo.

Jordan stepped to the side, "Come on in, dinners just about done."

Lincoln stepped into the house, thinking about when he came to comfort Jordan about her father.

"You okay Lincoln?" Her voice manages to break through his thoughts.

Waving off what just happened, he looks to Jordan, "Yeah, I'm fine."

They walk to the kitchen, where Jordan's mom is seen cooking dinner.

"Hey mom, Lincoln's here!" Jordan exclaims.

Jordan's mom turns around, wearing a beautiful flower dress that swishes when she turns, "Oh Lincoln, hi!" She walks over to Lincoln and embraces him, "Oh it's been too long, how have you been?"

He returnd her hug, "I've been doing good, thanks for asking."

They break their hug and she goes back to the stove, "Have a seat, dinner will be done in a few.

Lincoln sits down next to Jordan, "So, how are your sisters doing?" Jordan asks him.

"Oh, they're all doing pretty good from last I heard." He responds.

"That's great to hear." She responds.

Plates of spaghetti are then places in front of the two teens, "Ooh! Spaghetti!" Lincoln says excitedly.

"Made from scratch too." Jordan's mom gives Lincoln a wink.

"Go on, try it." Jordan says.

Lincoln takes his fork and twirls some noodles around it, placing it in his mouth, his eyes widened, he chews and swallows, "Oh wow…"

"So, whaddya think?" Jordan's mom asks, sitting down across from the two.

"It's…it's incredible." He says, "It's as good as my dad's spaghetti, and my dad is a professional chef!"

"Oh dear, you flatter me." She says, waving her hand.

The trio eat for a while, enjoying each other's company, talking about school, talking about work, friends, family, etc.

Eventually the night comes to an end, Lincoln standing outside Jordan's front door, Jordan standing inside.

"I had a lot of fun tonight…" She said softly.

"Yeah…me too." He responded.

Suddenly he felt her arms wrap around his waist, being pulled in for a hug by the girl.

Looking down he sees the top of the girl's head, blushing, he wraps his arms around her, hugging her back.

After about a minute of embracing each other they let go, Lincoln walking down the pathway to the sidewalk, waving as he leaves, Jordan waving as she closes the door in front of her.

Spider-Man swings through the city, the moonlight reflecting off his lenses, the cool late spring air rushing past him.

Swinging onto a building he perches at the edge, he lets out a deep breath, "Wow, never thought I'd get this close to Jordan…"

He stands up from his perch point, "Man, it seems like life is just lookin up for me lately." He places his hands on his hips, "Not that I'm complaining of course."

Suddenly, his spider-sense starts blaring.

Backflipping off the corner of the building and landing in the center, a giant metal claw reaches up and snaps at where the hero stood prior.

Squinting his eyes, he readied himself in a fighting stance, up came Doctor Octopus, an angry scowl spread across his face.

"I've had enough of you insect!" He stated.

"Me and my big mouth." The teen hero muttered to himself.

"This time I'll make sure you're deceased." He brings one of his metal claws up, pinching it several times, "I will not stop until I strip the flesh from your bones."

Spider-Man taps the side of his head a few times, "Now would be a great time to be on the comm Luce." He muttered to himself once more.

To be continued…
