After the naming of Skyward School of Practical Sorcery and the moment Harry had set up for Heather and Hannah, Heather blew a whistle.

In response to the whistle, a man walked in.

"REMUS!'" exclaimed Sirius as he ran up to hug the man.

"So, that's Lupin?" asked Harry curiously.

"Indeed, I am, " smiled Lupin.

"I was reluctant to allow any more people to know the location of Abbott Manor, " said Heather clearly, "But Sirius and Amelia convinced me to make an exception for Remus."

"Sirius has told us a bit about you, though not much, " explained Harry.

"I'd rather he tell you stories of your own parents, " said Lupin humbly.

"I've told him much more about James and Lily than about you, " confirmed Sirius, "But as you were James's and Lily's friend too, he should know something about you."

"In due time, " promised Remus, "For now I just want to meet him and shake his hand, "

Harry rose and walked up to Lupin and offered Lupin his hand. Lupin gladly shook hands with Harry.

"It's nice to meet you, Harry, " said Lupin fondly, "Your mom and dad were wonderful people and exceedingly kind friends to me."

"So, " said Harry uncomfortably, "I've been told by Sirius that you are a werewolf and have been shunned for that, but that my parents and Sirius were amongst the few people to accept you."

"Exactly, " said Lupin wearily, "James and Sirius, who didn't need me nearly as much as I needed them, befriended me from the start. I didn't want to tell them I was a werewolf at first. When I would disappear once a month, I'd make up all sorts of stories about why I was gone. But James and Sirius, realizing my disappearances always occurred at the full moon, worked out that I was a werewolf."

"With all due respect, " piped up Amy, "It was inevitable they would figure it out. Everyone knows werewolves transform at the full moon."

"That's obvious now, " admitted Lupin, "But I feared my friends would abandon me if they knew I was a werewolf. Instead, they learned to become animagi to keep my company at full moons. Werewolves only attack people you know, not other animals."

"That says it all right there, " said Harry proudly, "But it is my understanding that you were second in line to be my guardian per my parents' preference. "

"Only Sirius was officially ahead of me, " said Lupin clearly, "At least from a preference point of view. But I think James and Lily knew that werewolves would never be granted guardianship pf kids, so they named Amelia and Heather after me."

"So?" Harry asked Lupin, "What are you up to nowadays"

"Things aren't too great for me, " said Lupin sadly and Harry noticed that his clothes were frayed and tattered, "I find it almost impossible to find work because of the anti-werewolf stigma in the magical community. "

"Not for long, " said Heather with a smile, "You've heard that Hogwarts is closing at the end of the school year, right?"

"Yes, " said Lupin simply, "Amelia and Sirius have told me about your new school."

"It will be called Skyward School of Practical Sorcery and it will open on September 1st. I've filled a few positions but not all, " explained Heather, "Remus do you remember what your best subject was when you were in school?"

"Defense Against the Dark Arts!" answered Lupin confidently.

"Remus, " said Heather, looking Lupin eye to eye, "It is my great pleasure to offer you a three year contract to become the first Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery starting this September."

"Really?" said Lupin weakly,

"Really, " smiled Heather, "I'm in desperate need of a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher for Skyward School of Practical Sorcery and I know you have an aptitude for the subject."

"I accept, " said Lupin gratefully, "I need the job and it's jolly decent of you to guarantee me three years. "

"You deserve a chance to make something of your life, Remus, " said Sirius seriously, "This is a fantastic opportunity for you."

"And for your students, " added Amelia.

"It's nice to feel both wanted and believed in, " said Lupin with a smile, "I hope the Yellow Quartet doesn't mind another inhabitant because I will be living here until Skyward School of Practical Sorcery opens."

"You know about the Yellow Quartet?" chroused Harry, Amy, Susan, and Hannah.

"Heather told me everything after Sirius and Amelia convinced her to let me come here, " smiled Lupin.

"No one should be shunned and rejected for who they are," said Harry fiercely, "I really hope the opportunity Heather is providing for you to become the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery will turn your life around."

Lupin just smiled at Harry as Amy, Susan, and Hannah nodded.
