Daily Life With a Saiyan Teenager
Chapter 1: New Home
Goten had been in the hospital bed for a while now and had already recovered. The boy was injured, but he wasn't that hurt. The impact of the fall did nothing to the Saiyan, and the most he got from Boruchi were broken ribs. That was bad, but it wasn't the worst thing that happened to the Saiyan teen. Besides, he'd recover faster than any normal human would anyway. After a few hours, he'd make a full recovery. When there were tests run on him, he was classified as human, but there were some slight differences.
"Hey, what are you doing out of the nurse's room? You should be in your hospital bed." Said the nurse.
"Oh, I'm fine, I already recovered. I'm ready for those questions. Thank you for your help." Goten said with a cheerful smile. He was already moving out and about despite having broken ribs yesterday.
"Oh, I'll go get the chief." The nurse said as she escorted Goten to a new room. "Wait here," She said and then she left.
Shortly after, a man would come in.
"Hello, I am the chief and I am here to question you, do you need anything?"
"Some food would be nice, but I can wait," Goten answered.
"No, that's alright. I'll have them bring you food." When food was brought in, it was almost gone as quickly as it was in the room. This wasn't anything new to the police chief."
"You got an appetite, don't you?"
"Hehe, yeah it runs in the family."
"Are you ready to answer the questions?"
"Yeah, I'm all set!"
"Okay, what is your full name?"
"Son Goten!" The teen cheerfully said.
"What's your age?"
"I'm 16 years old."
"Ah, a young one," He said.
"What is your species."
"I'm a human." Although he was a half-Saiyan, he lived as a human. He hardly knew anything about the Saiyans and was raised as a human for all his life, so naturally, he thought more like a human than a Saiyan. Yes, he could fly and shoot blasts, but Goten grew up around humans that could do that too so it's not like those abilities differentiated him from a human being. Besides if he told the man he was a Saiyan, he'd likely have to explain what a Saiyan was, and telling the authorities that he belonged to a species that monopolized entire planets after killing all its inhabitants is a recipe for disaster.
"What were you doing before you crashed into the ground? You know, you had a nasty fall. It's a miracle you even survived that." The chief questioned.
"Well, I was attacked by a strange person and ended up trapped in a machine. I guess it sent me crashing into the ground." Goten answered honestly as he rubbed his head.
"Last question: Where did you come from?
"I came from a place called Mount Paozu but that's probably not a place in this world," said Goten
"So, you're saying you're from another world? We don't see that every day."
"Yep, unless the machine didn't work right, I have been sent to this world from another Earth… This is Earth, right?"
"Yes, this is Earth. Well, that's all for now. I appreciate the cooperation, but now I'll have to forward this to my superior. Is there anything else you need?"
"More food would be nice!" The Saiyan said happily."
"Get the kid some more food!" The chief ordered.
Ms. Smith had a busy day, but that was nothing new. Being a Cultural Exchange Coordinator was serious business, so that's to be expected. What wasn't expected was a call directly from the Police Chief. She had just gotten out of bed and was extremely tired. She gave out a long yawn before answering the call.
"Come to the station right now! Another Liminal without a host has appeared!" The chief says.
Ms. Smith groans. "Seriously, again? What's the story behind this one? Another Liminal abusing a loophole in the rules?
"This one is a special case. He fell from the sky and created a crater on the sidewalk. He was injured, but at the very least, he was cooperative."
"…And this is a problem because?"
"The test results came back as mostly human. Additionally, he claims to be from a different version of Earth."
"And what do you mean by mostly human?"
He's almost completely identical to a human but at the same time, his body is so much more durable than even some of the strongest liminals.
"That is an odd case indeed. I'll be right there."
Meanwhile, with Goten. The Saiyan bored out of his mind, so he left the room and wandered around until a woman confronted him."
"Hey kid, what are you doing out here? This isn't a daycare." Goten was in a room he wasn't supposed to be in.
"Goten turned around to see a lady with stitches all over her body. She reminded him of the zombie androids he fought as Saiyaman X2."
"Are you an Android?" Goten asked."
"What? No! I'm a zombie!"
"Wait really, a genuine non-artificial zombie? That's so cool!"
"…Okay that's not the reaction I was expecting."
"My name's Goten, it's nice to meet you!"
"Oh, so you're that human kid from another world. I heard you caused a ruckus out there with that landing. How are you even still alive?" The zombie girl said.
"Well, I guess it's because I've been training since I was a kid. Actually, not too long ago, I sparred with a friend and tied with him but even that's a plus considering I used to always lose to him! Goten said hopefully.
"Well, ain't that something? You wanna test your skills against me? We're both liminals after all so it's fine. Just show me what you got!"
"I heard that term earlier, what is a liminal anyway?
…
The woman was silent until she remembered she was dealing with an outworlder.
"Oh, right you're from another world. Well, I ain't good at explaining things, but liminals are creatures that became a part of human society. I take it you don't have those in your world.
"Actually, we do. I mean I know a shapeshifting talking cat and a shapeshifting talking pig, but I don't see people like them every day."
"Just what kind of world did you live in kid?"
"Hmmm, I can't say I know how to answer that question. I mean it's not a perfect world, but I liked it there."
"Sounds rough. Sorry, you lost all that."
"Ah, don't sweat it, I'll probably be back soon. It's only a matter of when. In the meantime, let's spar!"
"All right, I'll go easy on you. Don't wanna kill a child on accident."
"Fine, then I won't go all out either!"
"I'll make you try ya little squirt!"
The zombie girl threw the first punch, but Goten blocked it causing a shockwave. If he were a normal human, then he would have been flung into the wall, but he wasn't moved by the punch at all.
"I know you're stronger than that." Said Goten
"Heh, you're not bad kid. Let's see what you got." She attempts to hit Goten many times, but he either avoids or blocks every punch she throws at him. Eventually, he lets her land one hit on his face, but it does little more than slightly move his cheek. "Alright, my turn!" The teen says as he then gets in his punch which sends her crashing into a wall and falling into pieces."
"Oh, no I hope I didn't overdo it. Are you okay Ma'am?"

Goten waited for her to respond as she played dead. "You can get up now!" Goten said gleefully knowing she was fine.
The Zombie reformed after hearing this. "How are you not freaking out about this?"
"I could sense your energy, so even if you weren't breathing, I could still tell you were still alive."
Zombina tilted her head in confusion not knowing what he meant by this. "No, I mean why are you not grossed out by seeing my body parts falling off?"
"This isn't the first time I've seen something like this, so I'm used to it." It was true. He's seen Piccolo lose his arm and regrow it as a kid and another reason was that he just isn't easily scared. If Trunks were in his place, he'd be freaked out for sure.
The zombie girl was silent before she started laughing.
"Hahahahaha, you got one hell of a mean hook kid. The names Zombina."
Suddenly, two other liminal approached.
"This the guy? But he's so young, and cute!" The Ogre immediately glomps the young hybrid which surprised him as he was completely caught off guard.
"Woah!" He exclaimed.
"Tio, calm down. We wouldn't want the kid to be suffocated." Said the Monoeye.
"Okay fiiiiine" She lets him go.
Goten stretches before turning his attention to the Monoeye.
"Why are you so far away from everyone?" Goten asked the Monoeye"
"Oh, uh sorry." She says as she walks closer.
"That's better. Anyway, my name is Son Goten."
'That's odd, he isn't disgusted. It's like he doesn't realize we aren't humans.' she thought.
"What are you doing out of your room? Are you trying to leave?" Said a black-haired woman.
"I just needed some fresh air and besides, I already recovered."
"You leave when we say you are permitted leave. You're in big trouble, mister."
"Aw crap," said Goten
"Hahahaha, you should have seen the look on your face!" She then morphs into another form which is a nude girl with brown skin and white hair.
"Hey! Not cool! And put on some pants!" yelled Goten
However, she was too busy laughing at him. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Your reaction was priceless!"
"Relax, you're not in trouble and Dopple, quit using my appearance to intimidate people. Pardon my colleague. My name is Kuroko Smith, and I am a Cultural Exchange Coordinator." Said a woman who had just arrived and looked exactly like the form the shapeshifter lady took.
"Oh, hello I'm Goten. What's a Cultural Exchange Coordinator?"
I figured you'd ask that being from another world and all. Well, allow me to explain. Three years ago, a bill was passed which would condone the co-existence between humans, and non-humans also known as liminal. This bill was called the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill. Under this bill, humans and liminals are under no circumstances allowed to harm each other."
"No offense, but that sounds really stupid. I mean, I understand that humans and liminals shouldn't hurt each other but that applies to anyone in general. Besides what if a liminal or a human is threatening the life of others? They could easily abuse to law to get away with crimes and cause more casualties. Wouldn't it be better if they were allowed to be attacked under specific circumstances?" Said Goten
"I understand your concern, but I don't make the law. Also, you're right about liminals and humans taking advantage of the bill. Fortunately, we developed a squad to take care of problems like that. The girls you just met including myself are a part of that squad by the way."
"I see, but how about when your squad isn't around? What if your squad is too busy defending one area as another place is attacked by liminals? Since humans can't attack them, how are they supposed to defend themselves if they'll just get in legal trouble for it?"
At this Smith frowned. "It isn't a perfect system, but it's what we're working with for now. But speaking of the system, there's one thing I haven't mentioned yet."
"And what's that?" Goten inquired.
Ms. Smith smiled and got close to Goten's ear and whispered. "No having sex with liminal species."
"Yeah, you don't have to worry about that. There's a chance I might get sent back to my world and having a kid or a relationship here would make things complicated. My mom didn't raise me to be a deadbeat, so I'd have to pass on that kind of relationship even without the law." Goten said while not sounding the least bit embarrassed.
"Aren't you even a little flustered?"
"Well, it may be a little embarrassing to talk about, but it's not like I'm in that situation now. Besides, I'm a high school student, so I'm used to hearing about that kind of thing." Said Goten as he gestured to his shirt. Goten is not one who is embarrassed easily. Now Goten very much is still a hormonal teenage boy, so if he were directly involved in a situation like that, he'd have more of a reaction.
"I see, well let's discuss your living situation. You're from a different world so you'll need somewhere to live. Fortunately, I know just the place. You'd have 4 housemates and you'll be going to school too."
"All right, I can live with that. I wouldn't want to be alone anyway. I hope I get along with my housemates.
"We'll see. Well, I have to call your host family really quick so just stay here for a moment."
Kurusu's residence
Kimihito Kurusu was a young and kindhearted man with a lot on his plate. The reason for this is that Ms. Smith has had monster girls who want their children to move in with him twice now. So far, he had a Lamia, and a Harpy living with him. Fortunately, he was provided with the right requirements to fit everyone's needs. Despite all their differences, they lived a normal and peaceful life… Nah, just kidding.
Once again, the girls were fighting over his affection, and right in the middle of the argument, he got yet another call from Ms. Smith.
"Hello, Darling."
"Oh, hey Ms. Smith, I don't suppose you have another one that needs a host?"
"Oh, you know me so well," Smith said joyfully.
At this, the young man sighs. He wasn't against hosting another liminal but he hoped they would get along with everything else. He had a long day and the last thing he needed was another girl to fight with the others for his affection. He had literally just had another girl move in with him and they were having an argument with the others in the background. "Well, what are they this time?" Kimihito was stressed out from all the fighting in the background.
"Well actually, this one is human or at least mostly human, and he's male at that."
"Really? Wait, what do you mean mostly human."
"Well, he came plummeting down into the ground in a city, but he only had a few bruises. No human could have survived that fall that fast and yet he wasn't that injured by it. He's a human according to test results but his body is far harder and more durable than a normal human, and something tells me there's more to this boy than just that. This with the possibility that he might be from another world enough to classify him as a Liminal."
"I see… That's a lot to take in. Are you sure he's actually from another world? Maybe he's confused or something.
"I'll admit, I was skeptical at first, but the results don't lie. We don't know where the kid came from, and we found no records of him at all. According to witnesses, he just appeared out of nowhere in bad shape. He's fine now since we took care of that, but he recovered much faster than expected. Anyway, I figured you'd like some help. He'll be your new helper if you accept, and in turn, we'll be giving him a place to stay and food to eat, Additionally, despite the fact that he's technically considered a liminal, he can go places on his own and the girls can leave with him too."
"Well, that is appreciated, and I could definitely use that help. It's always up to me to clean up after everyone and it would be nice not to do that alone for once."
"Oh, and I almost forgot to mention this, but he is quite young. He's 16 years old, so he'll be attending school as well."
"Well, that's good, we wouldn't want him to not have an education. I'll be glad to have him stay with us."
"Perfect! You're so reliable, Darling. He'll be with you tomorrow. Take care!" Ms. Smith finishes the conversation and hangs up.
"All right, everyone! Kimihito yelled.".
"Darling, what's the matter?" Said the red-haired Lamia called Miia."
"Master! Are we getting someone new to play with? Said the Harpy by the name of Papi."
"Yes, Papi, we are getting another guest, but this one's a special case. They claim they are from another world. They'll be here tomorrow so we'll find out more then."
"Are you kidding me? You let another love rival in! One of these days you're going to have to tell Ms. Smith no!"
"Well, how could I though? I mean she says they're going to be a helper and I'm more than happy to have someone to help me out. Besides, the new homestay is a- Wait! Hapi, don't touch that! Kimihito yelled as he saw Hapi messing with the settings on the oven.
"Why not? Master always cooks for Papi, so Papi cooks for Master this time!
"Well, if you say so, Darling… They better not get too close though." Miia said out loud to herself but then she noticed what Papi was cooking. "WAIT, NOT MY EGGS!"
Back at the Station, Goten had been talking with the members of Mon squad minus Ms. Smith who had been on a phone call with his new host family. As Ms. Smith called Kimihito, Goten had been telling some stories about his past such as that time he got disqualified from the tournament with his buddy Trunks, he talked about what he was doing before he came here granted, he didn't give too much detail. All he said was he was attacked, and he ended up in a machine that transported him into this world with no mention of the fact that his attacker was an alien parasite trying to kill him for the sins of his ancestors. Lastly, the Saiyan boy to the surprise of everyone there managed to beat Tio in an arm wrestle. Even Zombina who previously had a spar with him was surprised at this. Zombina was physically stronger than any human and everyone knew that. However, Tionishia was still much stronger than her physically, so when someone like Goten proved to be stronger than her, she had the same reaction as a human who had witnessed a baby overpower a Gorilla.
"Awwwww, I lost. How'd you get to be so strong?"
"Hey, don't sell yourself short Tio, it was close. I just got lucky" Goten technically wasn't lying. He was heavily suppressed in that arm wrestling match since he didn't want to break the table or hurt the Ogre lady. Even then, a highly suppressed Goten was still far stronger than even the strongest man on this version of Earth, so it was impressive regardless. Sadly, the table did not survive. Luckily, they had a spare.
"I call bullshit, you're something else. How much strength are you hiding in those biceps of yours?"
"Uh, Language Bina." Said the Monoeye
"Hey kid, I was totally just joshing you earlier. You know that right?" Dopple said not wanting to incur Goten's wrath.
Suddenly Ms. Smith walks back into the room.
"YO MS. SMITH! THIS KID IS CRAZY STRONG! HE JUST BEAT TIO IN AN ARM WRESTLE!" Zombina continued to yell.
The coordinator looked at Goten. "Is that a fact?"
"Yeah, but it was close. She could have gone either way."
Ms. Smith made a mental note to herself about Goten's superhuman strength before she began to speak. "We'll be ready to drive you over in the morning, but until then, you're going to need somewhere to stay. You wouldn't want to sleep in the station, would you?
"Yeah, that would be uncomfortable."
"OOO, can he stay with us for the night? Tio said excitedly."
"You're just going to try to snuggle with him the whole time." Said Zombina
"Only because he's so cute! Besides, he's a strong boy so I don't have to hold back when I'm giving him affection."
Goten sweatdropped. 'Yeah, staying at the station might not be such a bad idea.' He thought.
Doppel then gets up close to Goten and whispers something. "Hey, you should totally stay with us for the day. You have got to help me pull some pranks."
Goten simply smiled at this. Thanks to Trunks, Goten had developed a mischievous side as a kid. Sure, he was much more mature now, but that didn't mean he completely lost it.
"All right, I'm in! But you should seriously put some clothes on."
"I can't do that, it's embarrassing! I don't know how you all deal with it."
Goten tilted his head in confusion but ultimately shrugged.
"All right, I'll stay with them for the night. They seem cool."
"Fine, but no roughhousing. He may be classified as a liminal, but he's still technically human. Said, Smith.
Later
The drive wasn't long, but for the first time since he came to this world, he got a good look at his surroundings. The last time he was outside, he was beaten and, on the ground, struggling to stay conscious due to the pain inflicted upon him. Now he was fine and was able to enjoy the view. He noted that this place seemed to be a lot less technologically advanced than some of the cities in his world, but he didn't hate it. It was a nice change of pace, and it wasn't like he was sent to a world where technology didn't exist. When they finally arrived, noticed a large apartment.
"So, this is where I'll be staying for the night? Seems spacious." Said Goten
"You like it? We have an extra bed for you too, but you can sleep in my room if you want cutie," Tio replied.
"Thanks, but I think I'll pass on that. I am 16 after all."
"Hahahahaha! You just got turned down!" Zombina laughed.
Tio puffs her cheeks. "I bet he's just shy."
The Monoeye took this moment to say something to Goten. "You didn't seem surprised at all when you saw us. Most people are disgusted when they see my eye covering most of my face, but you treated me normally."
"Well, from my point of view, you're all just as human as everyone else. Back home, a family friend has 3 eyes, and that never bothered me, so you having one eye isn't going to bother me either."
"T-That's refreshing to hear. So many people give me looks of disgust where I walk, so I always try to cover my eye." Said Manako
"I'm sorry to hear that. Listen, those people don't matter at the end of the day, because you are a good person. All of you are, and if people can't see that, then that's their issue. You didn't have to offer me a place to stay for the night, but you did."
Manako blushes and Doppel takes this moment to tease Goten. "Looks like someone's a little charmer here." Said the shapeshifter.
Goten pats the back of his head and gave out a nervous laugh.
When they were inside, the girls gave Goten a tour of the apartment and then they ate dinner. There was a lot of food considering they had to provide for 3 liminals, but what they weren't prepared for was the appetite of a Saiyan. Goten quickly devoured his food and immediately asked for seconds."
"You sure have a big appetite, Goten." Said Tio
"Another thing that runs in the family," Goten replied.
"Ya know, the amount of food here is meant to support 3 liminal and a human. Superhuman or not, it's surprising that you still aren't even close to full." Said Doppel.
Goten then turns his attention to the TV, and he sees something he has never seen before. On the TV, he saw people with blades slaying giants while some of them were being caught and eaten by the monsters.
"What's that show? Goten asked"
"That's Attack on Titan. I bet you'd like it." Said Zombina.
"I'll definitely check it out. This world won't have the same entertainment I'm used to back home, so I'll need something to watch. Anyway, what's it about?" Back home, Goten loved Clean God so much that he and Trunks would imitate him in his crime-fighting ways. Unfortunately, Clean God probably doesn't exist in this world which means he's going to miss everything related to his favorite show while he's gone.
"It's about these people that live within a wall, and behind those walls are man-eating Titans. To fight against these Titans, they have an army to fight them by using this gear to slice their naps which kills the Titans. I love it when people get torn apart. Watching all the blood feels so good." Said Zombina
"Uh yeah, that's… cool." Goten wasn't new to blood or gore on a personal level. To say Goten was against it would be wrong, but he's usually into Superhero comics and TV shows that a kid can watch. That said, he still isn't against watching Attack on Titan. The teen decided he was done eating and decided to watch TV. He wasn't expected to be too interested in the show, but he found that he couldn't look away. The poor Saiyan had no idea what he was getting himself into.
"Hahaha look at him. He's already hooked!" Said Zombina as she joined him in watching Attack on Titan. The two continued to watch until it was late, and everyone was asleep. Everyone except Doppel.
"Hey, kid wake up."
"Goten yawns. I'm tired, what do you want?"
"I found a perfect target to prank. They've been stealing wallets and they haven't been caught.
"Oh, awesome! I can't wait! Goten suddenly went from tired to enthusiastic. He could get in a little crime fighting or in this case, crime pranking before having to go to school."
Fast forward to later. Goten and Doppel are spying on a guy with a ski-mask who has been on a pickpocketing streak for a while now.
"That the guy Doppel?" Goten asked
"That scumbag is him all right." Said Doppel who was disguised as an anime waifu
The culprit was striking up a conversation with an elderly man. He distracts him and then steals his wallet. 'Hehe, idiot' the thief thought. He continued to converse with the man until he came up with an excuse to leave.
"Oh, would you look at the time, I gotta be home or my wife is gonna kill me!" The man took off running.
Goten took this moment to leave his hiding spot to walk over to the old man and on his way, the thief bumped into him which knocks him down. Goten was somehow still standing despite the man being much larger than him.
"What are you doing?! You're going to ruin the plan!" Doppel said quietly enough to avoid being heard by the crook.
"Watch where you're going ya little brat!" The man said before walking away annoyed.
"Goten ignores this comment and walks over to the man and hands him something. The man thanks him. After this exchange, Doppel returned to the hiding spot.
"Wow, thanks a lot kid," Doppel grumbled annoyed.
"Relax, I got this covered. Oh, and make sure you got a camera too."
"Don't ruin the plan this time." Said the shapeshifter as Goten shrugged.
They soon found the man in an alleyway and looked excited.
"OH HELL YEAH! THAT OLD SUCKER DIDN'T SEE IT COMING! LET'S SEE WHAT HE HAD ON HIM!" The man sticks his hands in his pocket so he can count the wallet, but instead of a wallet, he found something else. It was a card and, on that card, it said
"LOSER?! The man yelled.
"Goten started cracking up laughing, but not loud enough to reveal himself.
WHO DID THIS?! I KNOW I GOT THAT OLD SUCKERS WALLET!" The man screamed at the top of his lungs while Goten giggled trying not to alert the man.
"Did you record it Doppel? The Saiyan asked.
"What, how? Who did this?! Doppel was laughing at the man's misfortune with tears in her eye."
And then Goten revealed that he had the man's own wallet along with his ID.
"You sneaky sonuvabitch! Haha, I like you already kid!" Dopple said. She had been watching him closely, but she still didn't see how he could have stolen the wallet back from him. The man didn't drop the wallet, and she never saw Goten put his hands anywhere near his pockets. She thought this kid had to be some pro at pickpocketing.
Eventually, they would catch him stealing from someone else and get him arrested for that. Goten returned the criminal's wallet to him when he wasn't paying attention because Goten didn't want to steal from someone even if they were a criminal. Goten woke up tired due to not getting enough sleep, but he was proud of the prank he pulled.
In the morning, it was time for Ms. Smith to drive out Goten to go to his new host family. Goten was in a good mood due to how yesterday played out. On the way there, Goten got to witness more of Japan, and he was curious about what it had to offer. When they got to their destination, a man with black hair answered.
"Hello, Ms. Smith. I have tea prepared for you. Figured you'd be thirsty."
"Ah, Darling. It's always a pleasure to have some of your delicious tea."
Kimihito sees Goten behind her.
"Hi, my name is Son Goten. I'll be staying here if that's fine with you. Mr. Kurusu, right? The teen shook hands with the older man.
"Likewise, Goten, and there's no need for any formalities," Said Kimihito. It was like Smith said, he seemed completely human. His name was a bit odd maybe, but aside from that he seemed completely normal.
"All right, let's set some ground rules! First of al- Wait, where is she? And who's the kid? And then it sunk in. "Wait, are you the new homestay?"
Goten nodded "Ms. Smith thought Kimihito needed help and I had nowhere to stay being in a new world and all, so I agreed to be his helper."
The Centaurs' ears perked up after hearing this.
"Oh, that's perfectly fine then. My name is Miia" the snake woman said with a warm smile"
"I'm Son Goten and woah, you have a snake's tail! That's seriously awesome!"
"You... think my tail is awesome?"
"Of course, I do! I've never seen anyone like you before!
"Aw… he's a sweetheart. I welcome you here. Sorry about the outburst earlier, I wasn't expecting the new homestay to be a young boy like you."
"Aw, don't sweat it!"
"I am Centorea Shianus, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." The Centaur said in a dignified voice.
"Heh, nice to meet you too."
Suddenly, the Harpy shows up in front of her. "New housemate to play with, new housemate to play with! My name's Papi. I'm Papi, the happy Papi Harpy."
"Sure, why not. I'll play with you." Goten said as he went with Papi to play video games and Miia went over to watch and get to know Goten a bit more. It was a Tennis video game that involved actually moving as if you were playing actual Tennis.
Centorea took this moment to speak.
"Master, he mentioned that he had come from another world. What could he have meant by that?"
Ms. Smith took this moment to interrupt. "He was found crashing into the ground in the city and somehow managed to survive it. He claims that he was trapped in a machine and sent to this world by mistake. This of course doesn't seem very believable, but the kid has no previous records. According to tests, he's human, however, he's proven that he's much stronger and much more durable than a normal human.
"I see. That is truly unfortunate. The kids' parents are surely worried for his wellbeing." Replied Centorea
"Yeah, I feel bad for him, but the least we can do is make him feel at home. how about we start by having dinner now?"
"That would be a great plan, Master. I am feeling famished myself."
"Hey everyone, let's have dinner!" Said Kimihito
"Okay!" Said the other 3 homestays.
As they ate Kimihito's cooking, the first thing they found about our dear Saiyan is that he had a huge appetite. The moment he received his food, it was immediately gone, and he was still hungry enough to ask for seconds.
"Wow, you sure were hungry eh Goten? I'm glad you liked it."
"Thanks for the food, dude! You're a pretty good cook, aren't you?"
"I'm glad you're enjoying it. Do you like it here so far?"
"Well, sure. When I first ended up here, I didn't know what to expect, but it honestly feels like home. Things are a little different, but in many ways, things are still the same."
"Really? What makes you say that?" Said Kimihito
"Well, of course, we still go to school, watch movies, hang out with friends, and all that jazz, but judging from where I am alone, I'd say this place is less technologically advanced than the cities back in my world. For example, I haven't seen anyone use a hovercar yet."
"Wait! You have floating cars back home!? Just how technologically advanced is your world!"
"Well, my best friend's mom owns a company that creates capsules to store things in."
"That's… Convenient, but I fail to see why one would use that over a bag or a purse." Centorea said, joining in the conversation. She had assumed that the capsules he was talking about were literally just purse-sized capsules that carried your belongings.
"Well, they can store pretty much anything regardless of size. Robots, cars, houses, you name it!"
"Wow! That does sound useful!" Miia added thinking of storing Darling in a capsule so she could have him all to herself.
That's not to say this world doesn't have its charm though! Everyone I've met so far has been so nice!
"I see." Ms. Smith turns to Kimihito. "Well, in any case, our new guest here is going to need a few things to get him settled in. I trust that you can help him out… Darling?"
"That's fine with me. I'll show him around too." Said Kimihito
Kimihito was nice enough to help him get familiar with the city and the world he now lived in. Since Centorea was also new, she tagged along, Miia came because she didn't want the Centaur to get her Darling's affection, and Papi joined for fun. It wasn't too different from the requirements of his world, so aside from the weird looks they got from time to time, it was a fairly normal experience.
Sometime After the trip
The rest of the day consisted of Goten playing games with Papi, making small talk with the housemates, and helping Kimihito with chores. Time passed and it was now nighttime. Goten was now in his room that they somehow had the time to add right before he came to the house. He had met a lot of interesting characters in the past few days. He got along just fine with all the girls at the house, and they seemed pretty cool. Goten's' thoughts were interrupted by his stomach.
*Rumbles*
'Ah, I guess I'll grab a quick snack before I go to bed.' Goten leaves his room to go downstairs but, on his way, down, he sees Miia in revealing clothes near Kimihito's room. He thought that was odd, but he was too tired and hungry to question it or even be flustered by the sight. He had one thing on his mind, and he was going to get it.
'All right, I just need to sneak into his room and seduce him and he'll see that I'm the one for him. We'll get married, have children, and we will be the happiest family.' Miia thought as she gushed about what she would do to the man on the other side of the door.
"Excuse me Miia," said Goten as he walked by while barely glancing at her.
"AH! You weren't supposed to see this!" Miia fled to her own room, breaking a wall with her tail in the process.
"That was weird…" said Goten looking back. He then went downstairs to grab a few cookies and swiftly devoured them before going back upstairs, but he ran into Kimihito. 'Uh...oh, I hope he isn't mad about the wall.' Goten thought. He wasn't responsible for it, but he didn't want him to be mad at Miia, so he tries to distract him from that fact." Oh, hey Kimihito, I was just going back to bed. By the way, I saw Miia at your door for some reason. She wasn't wearing much…"
"Oh, uh… forget about that please!"
"Okay, I can do that. I just came to grab a snack before I called it a night... Hey dude, you look kind of stressed. Are you all, right?" Goten said feeling concerned over Kimihito. From observing his expression, he could tell something was bothering him."
"I'm fine… Well, no not really. I have to marry one of the girls, but if I do that, I'll break the other's hearts and if that happened, I couldn't forgive myself."
"Darn, that sure sounds rough. I don't know what I'd do in your position. I haven't been here long, but I can tell they all like you a lot. Wait, why do you have to marry them? The way you said that made it sound like you don't have a choice."
"I really don't, but that's beside the point and it's not like I'm against marrying one of them either. I'm just at a loss."
"Dude, you have a voice in this situation. You don't have to rush anything, so why not just decide overtime?"
*Crash*
There was a crash coming from Kimihito's door. Expecting a robbery, Goten went to investigate, but instead of a thief, he found Papi, and behind her was a destroyed window. Outside the now broken window was a full moon and for some reason, Goten felt a kind of sensation. He didn't know how to explain it, but he felt something. This of course wasn't the first time something like this has happened since the feeling tends to come every time he glances upon a full moon. He's heard stories about his father and older brother turning into a Giant Ape after looking at the moon, but as far as he knew, it only worked on Saiyans with tails, and he didn't have one of those.
"Hey, you're not Master!"
This got Goten out of his trance. "Oh, hey Papi, what's going on?" Goten said awkwardly because he noticed she wasn't wearing anything on her bottom half.
"I'm looking for Master so we can get married, and he can fertilize my egg!" She said excitedly.
Kimihito picked an inopportune moment to walk back into his room. "What's going on? Are you okay Goten!" When he was inside, he saw Goten on the ground and when he turned around, he saw Pap staring right back at him with lustful eyes.
"Master, have sex with me so I can lay an egg!" She said as she exposed her sharp talons.
Goten took this moment to speak. "Dude, you should run. I'll hold her off."
"Yes sir!" Kimihito took this moment to run out the room, close the door, and find a place to hide. He eventually found a closet downstairs. As for Goten, he was busy preventing Papi from leaving the room. Papi could have left through the broken window and broke through another window to get past Goten, but she didn't think of that.
"Hey! Let me through! I need to mate with Master!"
Centorea had run into the room. "What happened to my master?" She said in a stern tone.
"Oh great, Centorea! Papi went crazy, and she's trying to get Kimihito to do it with her! I think he got away by now, but we can't let her find him. I'll hold her off until she calms down!" Goten said hopefully, thinking that he had help.
"Your courage is an admirable trait young squire. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that her behavior is not a surprise. There's a full moon tonight, so her beastly instincts are in overdrive.
"That sounds awfully familiar," Goten said while thinking about Great Apes. He never had a tail, so he never became one, and he never witnessed Gohan or his dad transforming into the form since by the time he was born, both of their tails were removed. He did however hear stories about the Great Ape in the past. Another thing that didn't get past Goten was her nickname for him.
"Also, young… squire?" He said while still guarding the exit from Papi
"I can tell you're a young man with a noble spirit and like me, you desire to protect Master."
"Uh, Thanks… I think?" Said Goten.
"Oh, I meant no offense! If you don't like that title, then I won't call you that."
"I'm fine with it. I mean, as long as I'm here I will make sure everyone is safe."
Centorea nods approvingly at this. "You've done well young squire but I simply must see Master at once!" She said in a serious tone.
"Oh, he's probably hidden away somewhere. He'll probably be back in the morning."
"I need him right at this very instant!" She said with intense emotion.
"All right, I get it. It must be seriously important. I guess I can help you find him." Goten decided to let Papi pass assuming Kimihito had already found a hiding spot. The harpy immediately went downstairs to search for her Master, but she lacked the brain capacity to piece together where he was hiding.
"I'm glad you understand noble squire. Onward, to Master!"
Suddenly, Miia had returned but she was angry. "HEY, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH DARLING!" Exclaimed Miia.
"Oh, hey Miia. You came back." Said a drowsy Goten.
"AH, Goten, you're still here! Forget you saw anything!"
"What's going on with everyone today? Why is everyone showing up at Mr. Kurusu's room?" Said Goten.
"Oh, that… Well, you see..." Miia twiddled her fingers because she was seen by a male who wasn't her Darling earlier. She had learned her lesson from earlier and got dressed."
"She's hoping to seduce my Master too!"
"Oh please, I'm just trying to help him pick the right decision! And don't act like you weren't trying anything with those huge watermelons on your chest!"
"That's hardly true… But if Master were to desire to indulge, then as his faithful servant, it's my duty to serve him with my body and soul! Tonight, he will begin his journey into fatherhood, and I will be an excellent mother to our children."
"Master is mine!" Said the Harpy girl.
"No, he's mine!"
"Master only has eyes for his faithful servant!"
'Great, they're all crazy' Goten thought.
"Well, if you're all going to argue, I'm going back to bed." Goten was beginning to get annoyed at the situation and started to leave the room until his wrist is grabbed by a tail.
"Oh, crap…" Goten said as he was dragged back into the room and his body was constricted by Miia's tail. Luckily, because of his insane durability, it really didn't do anything to him.
"Goten! Be a dear and tell me where Darling was hiding." Miia said with a smile as her tail tightened.
"Uh, I don't know." Said Goten. In truth, he didn't know. He could sense his location, but they didn't need to know that.
"Have you no shame you conniving serpent? Taking advantage of our new housemate like that."
"YEAH! NO SHAME, NO SHAME!" Papi exclaimed.
"Stay out of this bird brain! Goten, we need to protect Master from these two!" Her eyes were just as lustful as Papi's were earlier, and it clicked in Goten's' mind what she really wanted.
They continued to argue and eventually..
"ALL RIGHT THAT'S ENOUGH!" Goten said forcefully. "Mr. Kurusu is stressed out enough about this marriage thing, and your arguing isn't helping him! He wouldn't want to see you arguing over him like he's a piece of meat! Just let him rest and think it over! I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and we're both extremely tired right now, so just let us sleep in peace!" Goten took up a stern voice. Normally he wouldn't be this upset, but he had been sent to another world against his will and now he was losing his precious sleep over it. As it turns out, staying up late and pulling pranks on criminals can make a person grumpy.
the room goes silent and after a few seconds, Goten fell unconscious after having his body constricted by Miia's tail for a while.
"Oh, no! Goten, I'm so sorry!" Miia screamed realizing she might have accidentally constricted him too hard and killed him.
"This is bad Miia! How are we going to explain this to Master?! If anyone finds out about this, we'll be in serious trouble!"
"NO! GOTEN Don't GO!" Yelled Papi.
They were interrupted by a noise. It was… Snoring?
They looked back at Goten's unconscious form and sure enough, the body was clearly breathing, but the face wasn't the face of one who passed out from suffocation, this was the face of someone who stayed up too late last night pulling pranks with a shapeshifter.
When they realized Goten wasn't dead or hurt, the girls were all relieved.
Centorea sighs. "The young squire Is right. Master is obviously stressed out about the situation, which is why he's hiding. We shouldn't have tried to push him."
"Yeah… You're right. It could have been really bad. We should quit while we can…" Said Miia
"WAAAAAA, Papi's a bad girl!" Papi started crying."
Miia took this time to comfort her. "Papi, you're not bad, you just made a mistake, we all did. That just means we got to fix it! Tomorrow morning let's all apologize to Goten, and Darling!
The two other monster girls nodded in agreement. They all went back to their rooms and before Centorea went to hers, she carried Goten back to his bed with her arms because only her Master could ride her.
"I'm sorry young Squire. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive us!"
With Kimihito, he was now out of the closet in a call with Ms. Smith.
"What do you mean it's my fault!"
" They're only acting like this because your indecisiveness is making them insecure.
Morning
Goten awoke for the first time in his new home and despite what happened yesterday, he was ready to start the day until he recalled what happened last night. He had a bit of an outburst, and he couldn't help but think he might have been a little too hard on the girls. He decided to apologize to them.
Breakfast was awkward, due to the events of last night. There was an odd silence and Goten was the first to break it. The girl had already apologized to Kimihito and explained what happened, but he was calm about it. No one was seriously hurt, and Goten really didn't seem to hold a grudge against any of them for what happened.
"Girls, I wanted to say sorry about lashing out at all of you as I did. I hope I wasn't too hard on you all especially since I know you didn't fully have control of yourself."
"No, you were right. We went too far… I'm sorry for squeezing you like that... It's just… I really do love Darling, and the thought of another girl sweeping him off his feet hurts so much! …Not that it excuses my behavior though."
"I'm sorry too. It was wrong of me to try to take advantage of you to have my way with my Master. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry."
"I'm sorry too," Papi added.
"I forgive you. I was tired and cranky from not getting enough sleep last night and that's on me. I honestly really do like you all. You have good hearts, and I know you all weren't in the right frame of mind because of the full moon. It wasn't fair of me to lash out at you for something you couldn't fully control."
Kimihito smiles at this and takes this moment to join in on the apologies. "None of you should be apologizing because all of this was my fault. I shouldn't have left you behind Goten." He says while looking Goten in the eyes. He then turns to the girls. "I made you all insecure because I was indecisive. I'll do my best to make a decision soon! And I'll start by taking all of you on dates! …If that's all right with all of you?
The girls are overjoyed at this.
"With that being said, please go to bed early whenever there's a full moon!," Kimihito said this in a tired tone and the girls nervously laughed but were interrupted by Goten.
"Oh yeah! Today's my first day of school!" Goten said before bolting out of the door.
"Wait!" Kimihito yelled as he got up, but it was too late. Or so he thought. As fast as Goten left, he immediately came back.
"Hehe, I don't really know where that is," Goten said with a chuckle.
"That's fine. As your host, I'll make sure you get to school on time."
And with that, Goten's first day of school in this new world was about to begin.
So that was chapter 1... I'm still very much an amateur at writing and I stand by wanting to improve my writing skills with my other story before really moving in on this one, but I really wanted to get this chapter out there. Now that I got it out here, I can start introducing OCS on the next chapter. I plan to eventually add Trunks, but that would be a really long time from now. You can also tell that this chapter is pretty long compared to my usual amount of words which is a big part of why it took me a while to come back to this website. I was inspired by a story called Blank Slate, and the idea of having a character from another series have their own adventures while at the same time being involved with the main plot in another world stuck with me. I changed the rating to M as a precaution since I intend to tackle mature themes. Feel free to give feedback, just don't be a jerk about it. Anyway, before I go, I'm doing the DBZ fanfiction thing and I'm putting power levels in this story. Don't worry, I'll only do this at the beginning and end of arcs.
