Daily Life With a Saiyan Teen

Chapter 7: A Threat From The Past.

It was another day at school. There was a new student that girls of all species were fawning over. It was a 3rd year. Of course, Goten paid no mind to this as he was focused on living his best life. Well as much as he could given the circumstances. Knowing that the Red Ribbon army or perhaps an even worse organization was here didn't put his mind at ease. Goten enjoyed a good fight, but he preferred peace more than anything else which is why he more or less accepted that he wouldn't get any challenges. Goten was still a Saiyan, and when he got into a good fight, he would be beyond overjoyed. Even though the situation looked bad for him, he couldn't help but be excited to finally be involved in the action.

"Goten! It is a pleasure to share this day with you!"

"Oh, hey Melody. How are you doing now? Is your new home working out for you?"

"Why yes, it is simply wonderful! There's even a Mermaid living with us."

"It's always nice to be around people like you." Said Goten while reminiscing about hanging out with Trunks and Gohan.

"Things have been rather difficult as of recently. People despise and fear me for what I've done and rightfully so. I enforced negative stereotypes about my species, and if my mother heard about this, she wouldn't be happy. I don't plan to go back home, but if I did, I'm sure punishments will be severe." Said Melody

"I know going home wouldn't be great for you right now. We should exchange phone numbers just in case. I don't know what you mean by severe punishments, but I'm not letting you get married to someone you don't want to marry."

'He asked for my phone number! This must be a proposal!' Melody thought.

"Oh, hello Goten. Sorry about yesterday. After that situation, I found you to be difficult to approach. I'm over it now." Said Draconis.

"Oh, that's fine. I'm just glad you're okay now."

Draconis looked at the Siren. "I see you've made friends with Melody. I'm glad you're forging new bonds."

"Oh, we're more than friends. You see, Goten is my destined partner in life!"

"Goten, is this true?!" Draconis says in an almost pleading voice.

"She says she loves me, but we're not together. What I said hasn't changed. I still don't know how I feel about starting a relationship in this world. I just have too many connections."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure our children grow up thriving." Said Melody.

"That's the thing, Melody. When I have children, I want to be in their lives. I already have too many connections back home, but if I started a family here, I would have to choose between my family in this world, and the family back home."

"Besides, Goten already has a destined partner!"

"Oh, and who might that be? Is it you Draconis?"

"That's not what I'm saying at all! I mean if he desired it, I wouldn't be oppo- Oh, what am I saying!"

"Oh, then you won't mind if I steal him from whoever he's with now."

"No, I won't let you!"

"Girls, why don't we talk about something else? Melody, I don't know much about you, so why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? Hobbies, favorite TV show, favorite food. What do you enjoy?"

"Well, I happen to enjoy watching things burn away in flames. Something about it is oddly satisfying. Perhaps it's intriguing to me because witnessing such a thing wasn't something that could happen back home in the ocean. As for TV shows, I enjoy watching soap operas. My favorite food would be shrimp, and I also happen to enjoy writing novels."

"That's awesome! What kind of novels do you write?"

"The usual genre is romance novels. I usually do not write tragedies, but there is quite a bit of drama."

"Alright! And how about you Draconis?"

"Well, I!" 'What is he doing? He knows I can't just tell her! I have an image to uphold!' Draconis thought. "Ahem. I have a special fondness towards art, or rather observing art to be precise."

"Huh, I didn't know that. You learn something new every day." Said Goten.

"It's the thought and emotion put behind the pieces that I find so fascinating!" Draconis realized she broke character and tried to play it off. "As for what my favorite TV show, I can't say I have one. I'm a Dragon, so I naturally gravitate towards different types of meat, but I also enjoy sweets such as strawberry cake."

"Well would you look at that! You two know each other a little better. I guess I should tell you both a little about myself. My favorite show was something called Clean God, but that doesn't exactly exist anymore. I like doing pretty much anything as long as it's fun, and my favorite food is pocky sticks and strawberry Daifuke, so I guess we have similar tastes Draconis."

Draconis gave a smug grin towards Melody causing here to stare at her causing invisible electric sparks while Goten was completely oblivious to it all.

"I'm glad we're getting to know each other!"

"Yes, it's wonderful…" Both Melody and Draconis said.

Later… Draconis would spot Melody on her own.

"What are you planning?"

"My, my, I have no idea whatever you could be talking about." Said Melody.

"Don't play dumb with me! What are you planning with Goten?!"

"I plan to make him mine of course!"

"So, was that apology nothing but a ploy? You were lucky to be let off with nothing more than a slap on the wrist, but let it be known that if you try to control Goten, you won't see the end of it."

"My days of using my voice to control people are over. In any case, it would be futile to try it on Goten again. Now, I plan to earn his affection on my own."

"You say you regret your actions, but how can, we be sure? Do you realize the amount of pain you inflicted on students? People have gotten hurt as a result of this. Physical injuries, mental trauma, and relationships that will never be the same again. Even if you regret your actions, the damage has already been done! Tell me, how can I trust you not to do the same to Goten, or anyone else for that matter?"

"I-I guess you don't have a reason to trust me. I understand what I've done. I caused an incident where someone almost died, I ruined lives, and I caused psychological damage that can never be undone. I know I deserve to be locked away for the rest of my life never to be seen again. I even tried to control Goten to get him to kill someone I hated, and yet even knowing this, he forgave me and if he forgives me, then it gives me hope. I have come to accept that I will never be forgiven by many, that I will remain an object of justified hatred for as long as I live, but if Goten believes in me, then surely redemption is possible."

Draconis sighed. "Very well. If Goten trusts you I will accept that. However, don't think for a moment that I trust you. This isn't just about Goten either. Regardless of who it is, should I find that you went back to your previous ways, I will not hesitate to take action."

"I understand."

"Good. I'm glad we could come to an agreement." And with that, Draconis walked away.

"I will prove to you and everyone else that I've changed! Never again will I hurt people for my own amusement." Melody thought out loud.

When it was lunchtime, Goten was talking with Asashi and Mizuki shortly joined him. "Oh, hey Mizuki, how have you been? We didn't really talk yesterday."

"Don't worry about that. I was just doing other stuff, that's all."

"Oh, okay. By the way, did you ever ask Jira out?"

"I did!" Said Mizuki

"That's my little bro! How did it go?" Said Asashi

"About that… I was rejected." He said, but his smile didn't falter.

"I'm sorry Mizuki. I know exactly what will cheer you up though! How about we go to your favorite restaurant after school? It will be on me!"

"Thanks, Asashi, but you don't need to cheer me up. I'm not upset."

"It's oka- wait, you aren't?"

"Well, I guess that's not entirely true. I was devastated when she rejected me, and I really did like her. I still do. Still, I somehow wasn't as depressed as I thought I would be. She told me she still considers me a close friend even if she doesn't see me that in that way, and because I finally worked up the courage to confess, I felt like a massive weight was lifted off my shoulders." Mizuki faces Goten. "Thank you for everything. Without your help, I never would have been able to confess to her. There's just one thing I'm unsure about. I'm unsure if I'm ready to move on from her just yet. I'll do my best to become a man who is worthy of her affection, and if that fails then I'll move on from her."

"That's the spirit! I bet you're going to find love sooner than you think!" Said Goten.

"Hello Asashi, would you mind if I sat her with you?" Said a familiar face.

"Not at all! Hey Goten, this is my new friend! He's an upperclassman and he's very popular with the ladies!"

"I'm glad you're making new friends Asashi… But why did it have to be him?" Said a disappointed Goten.

"I see we meet again Goten. Tell me, has your time at this school been an enjoyable experience for you?" Said Beytah.

"Oh hey, how's it going Beytah." Said Goten awkwardly.

"Wait, you two already know each other? Talk about a small world! I guess you're both already friends."

"I'm not sure if 'friends' is the right word, but we definitely have history." Said Beytah

"Hey, believe it or not, he's actually from my world," Goten whispered to Asashi.

"Another world? Whatever could you mean?" Said Beytah trying to be coy about where they came from.

"It's fine, he already knows. Hey, listen, we seriously need to talk. Let's go to the rooftops."

Goten and Beytah would later find themselves on the rooftop.

"What's is the matter with you?! First, you try to kill me, then you try to kill government officials, you stalk me around the city, and you almost kill Rachnera, and then you show up like nothing happened?!" Said Goten.

"Rachnera? I'm sorry, I never heard of this person."

"She's the Spider lady you almost vaporized with an energy blast!"
"Oh yes, something like that did occur. In my defense, she did tie me up, and what I did was merely a warning shot."

"You didn't have to go that far, and you know it! She wasn't a threat to you and even if she was, that doesn't excuse you for potentially killing nearby civilians!"

"According to my data, there were no people within the vicinity of that blast."

"Was that before or after you shot it?"

"…That is irrelevant. No one got hurt."

"What do you want? You made it really clear that you're not here to take me back to our world."

"So, you're saying you're from my world? If that's the case, why would you want to go back to that? That world is in ruins and there is no future. Even if we managed to go back, it would be meaningless. It's much more efficient to create a new utopia in this world."

"What do you mean? Our world is fine, you know I'm from your world, and that still doesn't answer my question. What do you want from me?"

"I wanted to apologize."

"Wait, what?"

"Looking back at my actions, I am appalled by what I did. I was so blinded by my desire to please the Doctor, that I forgot the true purpose of my mission. I was hoping we can start over, and perhaps start a beautiful new friendship."

"Okay, I forgive you."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah, I forgive you for what you did to me, but that still doesn't excuse your actions. I don't hate you, but that doesn't make us friends either. If you want to be friends, then you can start by apologizing to Rachnera, not stalking me, not threatening the lives of innocent people, or trying to kill me. If you can agree to that, then sure, I guess we can be friends."

"Simple enough. Very well, I will do that."

"Great! Well, there's one more thing I need to mention. By any chance do you know who's responsible for all the disappearances? Both humans and demi humans have been disappearing throughout the globe and I think the people responsible for doing it might be androids."

"So, it's true. You really did come from our world. But how did you get here? Before I answer, I must ask. Are you an android yourself? That would explain why you know so much."

"What are you talking about? Of course, I'm not an android! Well, I guess it has been a while and we weren't really close friends before either so I can see why you would think I'm an android."

'This is bad! I broke character! I was supposed to act as if I already knew him! …Did I know him? Back when I was a human, did I know Son Goten? After becoming an android, Hedo became my world. When I died and was resurrected, I cut off all previous connections to serve Dr. Hedo. I soon found that I no longer felt any real emotions towards anything that wasn't my Master. All I cared about was pleasing the Doctor and creating the world that both of us desired. A world without criminals. I soon found that I didn't really care about the people, just the goal. The Superhero thing I did was just to appease the Doctor. In truth, I don't know the first thing about being a hero. This boy says I almost killed innocent people, but if I did, would I even feel an emotion such as guilt? Can I feel such an emotion anymore?'

"Are you okay dude?"

"I-I'm fine!" 'The Doctor brought me back to life, but am I truly the person I used to be? I don't even remember my real name and my parents have since then become nothing but a distant memory. I was planning on leading this… Goten into a trap. But now… I need to investigate further.' Beytah pulled himself together before continuing the conversation. "I know how I may have come across as disingenuous, but you can say our conversation awakened something within me. I'm aware of how much trouble I caused, so let me make it up to you. I'll buy you more food."

"Wait, are you sure? I'm not going to complain about more food, but just so you know, I'm already over it."

"Think of this as a token of our new friendship."

"Okay, I'll accept, but I'll definitely repay you one of these days! Anyway, this isn't the main reason I invited you to come up here, but I'm glad we were able to settle our differences without any more violence. My main reason for inviting you up here was to ask you a question. Do you know anything about the superhumans that have been kidnapping humans and demi-humans all around the world? Are they androids like you?"

"Unfortunately, I can't confirm or deny that. Doing so would have major consequences."

"All right, that's fine. I guess that means I'll just have to find out on my own!"

"It seems as though you have a lot of information already. Tell me, how much do you know exactly? And what do you plan to do with that knowledge?"

"Well, I'm going to inform the public of course. They deserve to know what's happening to their loved ones., I'm also going to stop whoever is responsible! But to do that, I might need help."

"Goten, if you reveal any information on us to the public, that will be very detrimental to us and our goal! We'll be forced to take action against you!"

"Then tell me what I can do to help. Either way, I need to do this. These people can't defend themselves."

"You can either join us in our mission to purify the world or keep living as a normal kid in high school! If you choose either of these options, you will be spared. However, if you choose to oppose us, we won't show mercy. You may think I'm saying this as a threat, but I'm not. I'm saying this to warn you."

"And your mission is to get rid of all criminals by slaughtering them all right? Even the ones who are already imprisoned and not a threat?"

"That is correct."

"Then my answer is no. I'm sorry, but even criminals have people who will grieve for them when they die, and everyone deserves a second chance. I'm all for beating the bad guys but killing them when they're no longer a threat isn't cool! If you try something like that, I will stop you!"

"They lost the right to live when they put other people's lives in danger!"

"And they'll be punished for that. Listen, people don't just commit crimes to make people miserable or because they like to hurt people. Sometimes desperate people do desperate things. Maybe they're poor and they need to steal to help their family, or maybe they're being forced to commit a crime by someone else. I'm not saying these excuses their actions, but there are better ways to go about this than just blindly killing them!"

"Are you aware of how many criminals are let loose because they have money and power? How many of them are proven criminals yet the government refuses to punish them? How can you be so certain that they will receive the proper punishment? By killing them, it ensures that they'll never hurt anyone again."

Goten thought about it but realized that he couldn't be sure especially since he was in another world. "To be honest, I'm not sure. I guess I can't be certain if the government will properly punish them."

"Then you understand why our plan for the world must come to fruition!"

"No, what you saying is still crazy! If the government won't punish them, someone or something else will! If they are pardoned for their crimes and use their newfound freedom to hurt innocent people again, I won't kill them if I don't have to, but I can cripple them instead. If they still find a way to hurt innocent people, then I might just have to kill them. I won't be happy about it, but I'll do what I have to. It also depends on the crime. I wouldn't vaporize a repeat offender for littering, but I'd do a lot more to someone who committed a much greater offense, even if they only did it once. The point is, there are other ways to bring people to justice without killing them."

"So, you're fine with killing but only after giving them enough chances? It would be much more efficient to kill them from the beginning. What does it matter if people grieve for them? I was designed to be a superhero. A Superhero's duty is to eradicate evil and save the day, yes? What does it matter if people grieve for them or if innocent people wind up as collateral damage? Tell me Goten, what is your definition of a hero?"

"Dude, how could you even ask that?! Being a hero isn't about beating the bad guy, or looking good for the public. It's about helping and saving people even if it's from themselves! When I beat those thugs, I did it to protect the innocent, but I also protected the thugs from themselves. If no one stopped them, they would have kept this up until they ran into someone way less merciful than me."

"And it would have been me! Those pigs deserved to die!"

"That's not for either of us to decide though! Even the worst of the worst can become good if they put their minds to it! Those orcs got deported and are most likely receiving some kind of punishment back in their homeland. I don't know what that punishment is, but if they survive, they can reflect on their misdeeds and change for the better. It's happened so many times before, and great things came out of it! I'm sure you at least heard of Demon King Piccolo, right?"

"Ah yes, I've definitely heard stories. He was a monster who destroyed countless cities and killed many people. Oddly enough, all his victims came back to life."

"Well, he became good and helped save the world a number of times! Because of him, Hedo was saved too!"

"What? He never told me about this!"

"You say it doesn't matter if people grieve for criminals, or innocent people caught in the crossfire? Then how would you react if Dr. Hedo died?"

Beytah couldn't immediately answer this. He was grateful to the man and they shared a common goal. He made it his life's mission to serve him and left his past behind him. He wasn't an Android for a long time, but his life as a human was still a blur to him. "I don't know. If Dr. Hedo died, I would lose my only purpose. Perhaps I'd go around the world aimlessly killing criminals, but it would all be meaningless without the Doctor."

"Wouldn't you feel sad about it?"

"I don't know if I can even feel sad anymore."

"Well, you can definitely get angry, so I don't see why you couldn't be sad. That's how people will feel when you kill their friends, or loved ones even if the person you kill is a criminal. I'm not saying there's never a reason to kill, but that shouldn't be your first or only reaction to crimes or people who disagree with your justice, especially since I know you have the power to handle things without any unnecessary loss of life. It's one thing if a person is directly threatening the life of an innocent person and you kill them to stop them from committing a murder, and another if you kill them when they've already lost and are no longer a threat to anyone. Maybe you're set in your ways, so I'll just ask that the next time you fight a criminal, try to look at them like a person and not just another villain to destroy. If they are honestly that much of a threat and you see that they can't be redeemed, then do what you need to do."

"I-I will consider this. However, don't think that this changes the overall goal. I will bring this up with Dr. Hedo, but he gets the final say. With that said, are you still open to the lunch I promised to buy you?"

Goten's eyes lit up. "AM I?! YOU BET I AM!"

Earlier with Melody

The Siren was in the library as usual, they were reading a book at the counter for checking out books, but there was a group of girls causing a ruckus.

"Quiet down! This is a library!" Melody exclaimed.

"What did you say bitch? This is our hangout room now." Said an orange-haired girl.

"This is a room for reading and studying quietly. If you can't do that, then leave!"

"Oh, and the ugly ass fish bitch thinks she can tell us what to do? Where do you think you get off telling us what to do ya two-tailed freak?! You know everyone hates you right? Especially after what you did."

"I know that… I'm trying to move on from that part of my life."

"Well too bad! It's going to follow you wherever you go now, so shut yer fish ass up and mind ya own business!" the orange-haired girl named Tsumi turned to her friends. "Did you hear about the new kid? He transferred right after that Hisato guy disappeared. Nobody really liked him anyway. The only reason why anyone was around him was for his money."

"Yeah, I'm glad he's gone. He was a total perv too. Check out the new guy though. Like O.M.G., he's so hot."

"Right? I'm tots going to make him mine, and I know the perfect way to do it. I hear he's friends with that loudmouth musclehead Asashi. People like that are soooo easy to manipulate."

This caught Melody's attention. Someone else was about to do what she used to do to people. This girl in particular was no stranger to the action. She was similar to her, but this orange-haired crossed lines, that even Melody on her worst day didn't do. She didn't just ruin relationships, she intentionally ruined people's entire social lives. She was in her third year, but throughout her time at the school, she got many people expelled. She usually targeted people with a problematic past or were seen as nothing but delinquents. She'd spread rumors around the school, or sometimes online to ruin people's social lives. She'd also use fake proof of their misdeeds to force them into doing actual bad things.

She turned to the brown-haired timid timid-looking girl in the girl. "So, when are you going to confess to Megumi? You lost the punishment game remember?"

"I know… It's just it feels wrong to do that to him. I mean we tease him all the time, and I don't think he's in on the joke."

"Well, you're the one who agreed to the game! Either you ask him out, or I'll tell everyone about the letter you wrote to that teacher you hated! And if you tell him about the punishment game, I'll tell them anyway. You're going to ask out that one-eyed freak and immediately dump him, got it?"

"Yes Tsumi…" The girl says dejected. This was Ayako Ritsuo, a timid girl who doesn't have many friends besides the group she hangs out with. There aren't many people who give her the time of day due to her 'plain' look. Despite this, the girls she was with allowed her to be their 'friend', or rather their errand girl. They'd make her do their homework, and whenever the teachers questioned it, she'd be forced to take the blame, and she was also forced to pick up their trash. She told herself this is what friends are for, but for some reason, she found that this kind of relationship didn't make her happy."

Eventually, the girls all left the library, except for Ayako. Melody took this opportunity to roll her wheelchair to the girl before speaking. "You don't have to do what they say."

"But if I don't, they'll tell everyone about my secret!"

"I see so they're blackmailing you. Well, I'll handle it. The girl with an anemone for hair had the gall to bring up my past especially after what she does is considerably worse. I know what she's done, but if I'm being honest, I simply didn't care. Now when I look at her, I see not just a reflection of my former self, but a reflection of what I could have become."

"So you'll help? Are you sure you're not doing this so I'll owe you later?"

"You don't owe me a thing. Now, allow me to start my plan." Melody begins giggling ominously causing the girl too shiver in freight."

Later...

Ayako passed the new transfer student who happened to be a third year. He was speaking with a male 'human' who was likely a second-year like herself. She went to the rooftop after they left and waited until the Monoeye showed up.

"Hey, so I liked you for a really long time, and I was wondering if... You will go out with me!"

"No."

"I under- wait you said no? But why?"

"Because I know it's not a genuine confession. A mysterious person by the name of M sent a letter warning me about what happened. About how this is all a part of some twisted game."

"Oh, I see." She said sadly.

"However, that's not all she told me. She told me you were being blackmailed into this, and by someone who is skilled at the art. Fortunately, I have what it takes to bring her down."

"Wait please don't do that! She's my friend!"

"Is she? Last time I checked, friends don't hold your secrets over you to force you into doing things for them. She's done far worse than just this and it's time she finally pays for what she did to my friends."

"But if you do this, I won't have any friends!"

"Then I'll be your friend. I don't have any either. Not after Tsumi got them expelled. People may have seen them as delinquents but they were the only people who gave me the time of day. I will clear their names no matter what."

"Really? But I'm just a plain girl. You'll just get tired of me like everyone else..."

"No, believe me, I won't. I know that isn't exactly reassuring, but you'll have to trust me on that. Because of M, I now have the chance to finally prove my friends innocent even if I was too late to prevent them from being expelled..."

"I'm sorry. It sounds like they were really important to you. Well, I'm sure that after you clear their names, you can hang out like you used to." She said smiling.

"Yeah, it would be nice. Just so you know, I already did my part. Now it's up to M to decide what to do with her."

"If M is who I think it is, I hope she doesn't go too far... She looked really scary the last time I saw her."

With 'M'

Melody was currently in the girls' locker room with Tsumi and she now had proof of her spreading rumors and getting people expelled.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH! HOW DID YOU GET THAT INFORMATION!" Tsumi screamed at the Siren.

"I have my sources. Now, I wonder how the school would react to finding out about this information." Melody let out a dark chuckle.

"You have no right to do this! You do the exact same thing!"

"You're right. I was a bad person. I ruined friendships, and there were people who almost died due to my actions. I know I'm irredeemable. However, at the very least, I confessed to what I did, and everything was brought to light. I apologized but accepted my ire of my victims along with the reality that I will never be forgiven by some. Now, I won't tell you that you're worse than me, but wouldn't it be fitting if what you did was brought to life too?

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THIS TO ME!"

"Despite my reputation, I am not without mercy. Because I confessed myself, my punishment was lessened. I still have to deal with afterschool detention, but even if I were to be expelled, it would be worth it to save the reputation of my victims. I am willing to let you confess yourself, and perhaps they'll do the same for you that they did for me."

"WHY YOU!" Tsumi grabbed Melody and threw her on the ground. She then kicked her wheelchair away before stomping on her multiple times.

"YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME HUH?! YOU STUPID FUCKING WHORE! IF YOU DARE SHARE ANYTHING, WORSE THINGS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU! NOW GIVE ME YOUR PHONE!"

Tsumi grabs Melody's Phone and breaks it. Surprisingly, Melody starts laughing. "Did you think, that was my only phone? I was given a spare just in case. I was going to be nice, but after this, you can expect the full weight of your crimes to be your punishment. I wonder what they'll think of you hurting a liminal? As for me, this is nothing more than another addition to my punishment for what I've done. Now, are you prepared to start yours?"

"Please! Don't do this! If you do this, I will never be sent to that college I've been trying to attend! I will be ruined and my parents will look at me in shame!"

"Hm? Well that's a shame, isn't it? I'm willing to look past the damage you did to me, and your insults towards my species if you confess yourself. Regardless of what you do, the lies you spread about people will come to light. I can't guarantee that they will lessen your punishment, but at least you'll be able to walk away with a chance to redeem yourself. This isn't about revenge, Tsumi. What you did and said to me is minuscule compared to what you did to other people. This is about saving the reputations of the young women and men that you ruined, along with those you have under your thumb. Think about your next move wisely. If you make the right choice, I will not reveal what happened here."

"Fine, you win!" Tsumi grits her teeth as she begins tearfully running away. As for Melody, she was left on the ground bleeding and injured. Fortunately, her twin Mermaid Tails made it harder to render her bottom half useless. As for her injuries, she had a way to cure them. She took a small jewel-like artifact out of her bag, dropped some of her own blood, and said something in an unknown language. The jewel then glowed, and she was enveloped in a blue light. Before she knew it, she was completely healed."

"I'm glad I took this with me before I left home. Such a handy little artifact." She then began to drag herself towards her wheelchair."

Tsumi would later get her phone and make a public confession revealing all of her victims and issuing a public apology on her social media. She'd end up being suspended for a while as a result. Though Melody did something similar, she never actually forced people to do things such as almost killing people or doing other terrible actions to people. A lot of the things that Melody did, other people were at fault too. For example, she once made a guy fall for her, but his obsessive girlfriend got jealous and took drastic measures. Another guy had a crush on a girl who was already taken and because of Melody's song, he was persuaded into confessing to her, causing her boyfriend to beat him to near death. Apparently, both guys were good friends before this, but this caused a massive strain in their relationship. Even after Melody confessed to everything, they were still at odds even though the boyfriend apologized to him. At first, Melody was gleeful about the damage she caused, but now she hated who she used to be.

After school…

Melody would have to go to afterschool detention, but she wasn't alone. Draconis was there too, but only to talk to her. Through her connections, she heard what she did as Tsumi had been overheard crying about her. The teacher responsible for her and the other people in detention was fast asleep.

"So, I heard what happened between you and Tsumi."

"Are you here to tell me I was wrong? Well no matter what you say, I do not regret what happened."

"No, on the contrary." Draconis smiled. "I'm here to thank you. Though some might see those students as nothing more than troublemakers, and perhaps some of them did have their fair share of problems, they were still young people with a future ahead of them. A future that was taken from them."

"Seriously? But aren't my crimes unforgivable?"

"Maybe to some, but you seem repentant. I apologize for my earlier hostility." Draconis gave her an apologetic bow. "And I was wondering... if you would like to be friends?" Draconis began looking away."

"I would be honored to Lady Draconis. However, don't think this changes anything between us."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I'm still going to get Goten to fall for me! I won't lose to you!"

"Well, I won't let you take my first friend from me!"

"And why not? I wouldn't be a possessive lover. I'd still allow him to talk to you, but of course, we'd still be spending a lot of time together. You say Goten already has a lover, then who is it? You can't say it, can you? Just face it, you clearly crave his affection too."

"Well, it's..." Draconis wasn't going to mention the date she had with him. She was also still trying to understand her feelings towards the boy. Did she love him romantically, or was she simply possessive of him because he was her first real friend? She didn't mind when he hung out with Asashi or Mizuki, and yet the sight of him around Melody made her heartache. She also felt a bit of comfort when Goten assured her that he was not in a relationship with the Siren, and yet whenever she heard him say that he didn't want to be in a relationship, it made her feel a certain way that she couldn't describe. She then came to a conclusion."

"Even if I did have those kinds of feelings, I wouldn't be able to live with taking him away from everything he once loved."

"You say that, but how sure are you that he'll even be able to go back to where he came from? It may sound cruel, but just how likely is it that he'll be able to go back? If he can't return to his home, then he'd live a lonely and loveless life forever waiting for someone to rescue him, only to fade away with time. It doesn't seem plausible that he'll be sent back to his world. After all, such a thing is almost unheard of, and even if he finds a way to go to another world, how could we be sure he'd end up on his own? Goten doesn't deserve to be alone. As such, when he comes to terms with being trapped in this reality, I will be there for him."

"Well as his friend, I will be there for him too should something like that happen! No matter what, I refuse to lose to you!"

Melody smiled. "I'm looking forward to our future interactions."

Much later… The girls who lived in the Kurusu household were currently spying on him as he waited for an unknown date. "But if he really is cheating on us with a human girl… That would be wonderful! To be stolen by a beautiful human woman is the very plot of The Little Mermaid is it not?! Viva tragedy!" Said Mero.

Miia and Centorea sigh at her antics.

"Ah, someone's coming!" Miia exclaimed.

"Sorry to make you wait, Darling!" Said Ms. Smith who was wearing casual clothes.

"WHAAAAAA!?"

"Oh, hey girls. I saw that no one was home, so I thought I'd investigate. What's going on there? Woah, is that Kimihito and Ms. Smith? Are they on a date? I can't say I expected them to get together! Well, I guess Ms. Smith IS always calling him Darling, so maybe it's not so surprising." Goten chuckled.

"Goten what are you doing here? And what do you mean no one was home? Was Rachnera not there either?" Centorea asked.

"Well, I explained my power right? Well everyone has a unique energy and I took note of all of your energy signatures just in case I or someone else got lost. Have you ever wondered why I always make my way home no matter how far away I am even though I am completely foreign to the area? I flew around for a bit until I was close enough to sense you all. Speaking of energy signatures…" Goten waved to a seemingly random area.

"Goten, who are you waving at?" Mero asked.

"Oh, just a friend. Anyway, what are you girls doing?"

Miia and Centorea huddled together and began whispering to each other. "Wait, as different as Goten is, he's still considered a human and a co-host of meaning if he's here…" Said Miia.

"Then there is no issue with us being here!" Centorea finished.

Both of their eyes sparkled, and they suddenly appeared behind Goten.

"Come with us Goten. We're going to have a lot of fun." Said Miia.

"Your presence would be appreciated, Goten." Said Centorea. Both girls had demonic smiles. Goten noticed this, but he wasn't one to say no to fun."

Soon, they would find themselves near a window of a maid café.

"Wow, so they really are going on a date." Said Goten.

"He really is cheating!" Miia exclaimed.

"We don't know that! Perhaps Ms. Smith just invited him out to talk about some ridiculous thing…" Centorea reasoned.

"Look at everyone! They all look like Mero!"

"If that's so, then why is she not in her work attire?" Said Mero.

"We'd have to cover up our bodies somehow." Said Miia

"So what shall we do?" Centorea questioned.

"Either way, we cannot raise a fuss if we have no proof…"

"Then let's get a disguise!" Miia suggested.

"We did not bring any. And Suu is the only one who can transform that easily" Centorea replied.

"No, she's not the only one who can transform. I have an idea. Hold on, I'll be right back!" Said Goten before flying away."

"Holy crap, did you see that?" Said a random guy passing by.

"That kid just flew!" Said another random person.

"Bye bye Goten!" Said Papi.

"I can't believe him! We're not supposed to bring attention to ourselves! We can't have him draw anymore attention to us! …And he's gone. Great, now we're on our own again. We have to be even more cautious than before." Said Centorea.

With Smith and Kimihito.

"This coffee is so cheap!"

"You shouldn't say that so loud."

The pair spotted a maid who had pink hair and was totally NOT Meroune in disguise. She was currently serving other customers.

"Thank you for your orders, Masters, I'll bring them right out. It will just be a moment."

"Mero?" Kimihito questioned.

"Oh, is there a maid you'd like to request?"

"Oh, sorry. I thought you were uh."

"Oh, don't be ridiculous Darling. Mero has a fishtail." Said Smith.

"Well, she was so frilly!"

"Everyone here is frilly, darling!"

While they weren't looking, Mero began bouncing around and crouched near a table.

"I succeded! They didn't find me out!"

"Hey, be quiet!" Centorea exclaimed.

"Keep your voice down or they might catch you!"

"Anyway, I think it's going well so far."

"This would probably be a lot more effective if we let Suu take over. Okay Mero, see if you can get some incriminating evidence on those two."

"I'll see what I can do." Mero tried to lean over but ended up tripping on her own tail causing her to fall on a random customer. This also caused the drink to get on Mero's breast."

"Oh, dear. I hope you can excuse my clumsiness master!"

Papi was playing around with a guy through the window as Centorea and Miia we're getting annoyed at the sight.

"Mero, you can drop the maid act now!"

"But I've already got a backstory. A noble stripped of her title who disguises herself as a housemaid just so she can be close to her forbidden love!" Said Mero fantasizing through the phone.

"That's not what we're here for tragedy addict!" Miia exclaimed.

Mero began sulking. "Tragedy addict?"

"Whatever"

"You don't have to be so harsh."

"Just keep a close eye on Darling!"

Mero begins facing Ms. Smith and Kimihito to listen in on their conversation.

"That was nice. It's a perfect start for our date. What's next?" Said Ms. Smith.

This caused Mero to panic. 'It is a date! No perhaps Ms. Smith is just forcing him to go with her! Yes! Of course!'

"Uh, you're kind of making me nervous."

'He's not denying it!'

"Mero, what's going on!"

"Well actually…" Her sentence was interrupted by Suu moving around in her dress causing her to collapse. As she was on the ground, Ms. Smith and Kimihito paid for their order and left.

The girls would later find themselves watching Ms. Smith and Kimihito visit an arcade. The very same that Goten and Mizuki planned to go to not too long ago. As they were watching, Mero was completely traumatized by what happened in the maid Café.

"That was close. I don't think they're on to us though." Said Miia.

"I have to admit, it's strange to see Papi with arms."

"Oh, I don't know about that. It oddly fits somehow." Said a very familiar voice.

The girls turned around.

"Uh, who are you?" Asked Miia.

The person in question was a blonde young man with gelled hair who looked very similar to Goku when he became a security guard for the convention conference that was hosted by Mr. Satan. He wore a suit and a tie, had green eyes, and appeared as a typical gentleman. One thing that could be noted about him was his muscles were so defined that his suit failed to cover them.

"What are you talking about girls? It's me! I told you Suu wasn't the only one who can transform!"

"Wait, that voice!" Said Centorea.

"No way!" Said Miia

"Goten?!" They both exclaimed.

"Yep, that's me alright. Say, what's going on now?"

"Where did you get the time and money for such a disguise? And what kind of training did you do to get such a build?" Centorea questioned.

"Well, Ms. Smith provided me with clothes because I didn't have a lot coming to this world. I would have been homeless if it wasn't for her, so I'm grateful to her. I gotta do something nice for her one day. As for training, I usually spar with my best friend Trunks, crush boulders with my fists, or blow up rocks. If I find a secluded area where no animals or people live, I destroy mountains. Anyway, let's see what they're doing now! Hey, that's the arcade I went to with Mizuki! All right girls, this is my cue! They won't suspect a thing!" And with that, Goten had gone to the arcade in his new appearance.

"Wait, this actually works out for us! As long as he doesn't start flying around again, he will totally just pass as a normal human! Wait to go Goten!" Miia pumped up her fist in the air in celebration.

"Did he destroy mountains for training?! There's no way he can be serious about that right? And blowing up rocks? What does that have to do with training?" Said Centorea.

Goten started playing a game that happened to be in close proximity to Ms. Smith and Kimihito who were playing a crane game together. Of course, Papi was also present.

"Wow, you're a pro at this." Said Kimihito Kurusu as Ms. Smith managed to get a stuffed Panda.

"What did I tell you? I think we should find somewhere quieter."

Papi who was observing this misplaced the phone. "Where's the phone Suu? I need to tell Miia!"

She found the phone in her pocket, but ended up dropping it in Suu who was hidden in her cleavage which appeared bigger than it was due to the slime inside of it. The phone ended up moving through her clothes until it reached her womanhood. Things got worse as Centorea tried to call her.

"Alright seriously, what's everyone so surprised about?" Goten turned around and got a view of Papi's rear sticking out with the phone buzzing causing her womanhood to vibrate. Goten quickly turned away back to his game so he wouldn't stare. "Papi, what's the matter with you? Are you alright?" He was then interrupted by his own phone call from Miia.

"Goten, what's going on in there?"

"Kimihito and Ms. Smith just got done playing a crane game and apparently, she's a pro at it. I gotta get her to teach me some tips. I always hated those as a kid!"

"Enough of that! What about Papi?"

"She's… doing something. She caused a scene and everyone was staring at her. Poor girl. They formed a crowd around her. Hold on let me do something about this. "Hey! Give her some space! You're making her uncomfortable!" Goten pushes his way through the crowd causing people to angrily yell at him and notices Papi in a compromising position. Luckily, she managed to get the phone out of her clothes but was now she was just there with her butt up and a wet phone near her… "Papi, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine! Just give me a second! She said while sitting."

After a minute or so, Papi gets up. "I'm okay now. I'm going to go somewhere to rest."

"You do that Papi. Goten started talking into the phone. "You were saying Miia?" Said Goten as he walked over to see his score.

"What's the situation on Darling and Ms. Smith?"

"I uh, actually don't know. I got distracted and now they're gone."

"They must have left! Alright, we're going after them!"

Dang it, I died! I got such a high score too… Wait a minute… Who's that above me? …Foot…lover…12? Footlover12?! There is no way I'm losing to a guy called Footlover12!" Hold on Miia, I'll be with you in a second! I got business with someone!" Said Goten.

"This is not the time to be distracted by something like that!" Miia exclaimed. Unfortunately, it was too late. Goten's attention was now completely on the game. Kimihito and Ms. Smith had already left the building, but there was something that Kimihito picked up on.

"Hey, that guy back there sounded a lot like Goten." Said Kimihito as they left the building.

"Oh, don't be silly darling. That guy had blonde hair and green eyes. They can't be the same person."

"I know that. It's just odd, that they sounded so similar."

Later…

Ms. Smith and Kimihito would find themselves having Ice cream together. The guy at the Ice Cream truck had severe diarrhea, so Miia and Centorea took over since he wasn't present. Mero, and Papi we're at the table closest to the truck along with Goten as he had managed to pass that guy with the accursed username's high score. Goten noticed the girls were feeling down so he wanted to cheer them up.

"Hey girls, I know things didn't go as we planned buuuuuut… Are you two up for Uno?"

"Not right now Goten." Said Mero dejected.

As for Papi, she didn't even respond.

"Alright, I get it. Oh well, at least I brought my phone! I'm pretty sure there's a new banner on this game I started playing."

Goten summoned but he got nothing good. "Are you serious?! I summoned like 10 times and none of these units are even a little decent! This game freaking sucks! Ugh, but it's so addictive.? Goten slumped down in boredom. "You know what? I don't feel like playing this right now. I'm just going to watch videos instead."

Meanwhile, Kimihito decided to get ice cream for himself and Ms. Smith.

"Coming right up sir!" Said Miia and Centorea happily. They handed him his ice cream and as he walked back to his table, he couldn't help but realize how familiar everyone had been.

"Thank you for your business!" Said both of the girls.

"We succeeded!" said the lamia.

"We were lucky to find this unattended truck.

"And no one can see our bottom halves."

"Yeah, well these clothes are a little tight though."

"Sorry, there's not enough Suu to make two outfits."

"So we're stuck being tied together."

A guy walking by spots the girls and pulls out his phone and whispered into it. "Dude get down here.". The girls we're completely oblivious to this, but soon they would find that a crowd formed around them.

As this happened, Ms. Smith and Kimihito we're enjoying their ice cream until Ms. Smith ended up being bothered by all the noise at the ice cream truck.

Ms. Smith stands up from her seat. "That is it. I have had it. Let's go, darling." She then drags Kimihito away."

"They're on the move!" Said Miia. She panicked as she noticed they we're heading towards a hotel. "I'm sorry, but I'm leaving this to you!" Said Miia as she left to pursue Ms. Smith and Kimihito.

"Wait Miia, our clothes are connected! If you pull too hard, they'll come off!"

Miia pulled further until Centorea's shirt ripped causing her massive breast to be exposed to the crowd of perverts. As the cheer, a box sneaks off in the background

After reaching her destination, Miia lifted the box off of her and motioned her fingers to her left ear. "This is Solid Miia here! I've made it to the infiltration point! Haha, just kidding.

"Looks like age hasn't slowed you down one bit. That was fun." Said Rachnera.

"Rachnera, why are you here?

"I've been following you of course. A love hotel in the daytime? Ms. Smith sure has a lot of energy. My, I was sure my cover was blown when Goten waved at me, but it would seem I have an unexpected ally. Of course, he isn't aware of my intentions."

Rachnera used her threads to listen in on their conversation. "Found them."

"So, what's you're deal? You here to watch?"

"I'm here to get something."

"Yeah? What's that?!"

"Not much. Just blackmail material. He's supposed to marry one of us, yes? If he get's too friendly with the coordinator, that would be an issue for all of us. I'm just looking out for our well being. Now then…" Rachnera begins crawling on the hotels walls.

"Wait a sec!"

"Huh?"

"There's no way darling would cheat on me!" Miia says as she climbs a pole to close the distance between her and Rachnera. She then pounces on her and places the spider woman in a headlock. "There has to be a good explanation!"

"You're choking me!"

"He's not doing anything, so you don't need to go in there okay?!"

"That doesn't make any sense at all! Stop screaming or we'll get caught!"

They were interrupted as two hands grabbed their heads individually and brought them in through the window.

Miia and Rachnera wound up halfway through the window with guns pointed at their heads. The ones holding those guns were none other than M. Zombina and Monako.

"Uh hey guys, this is awkward. So what's going on?" Said Kimihito.

Later…

"Sorry I didn't tell you." Said Ms. Smith

"You got some explaining to do." Miia demanded.

"Start from the beginning." The centaur added.

"If you say so. Why don't you take a look at this. Darling received an interesting letter."

Ms. Smith revealed a murder threat causing the girls to gasp in shock. All except Rachnera

"Ah, it looks like a murder threat."

"Seriously? 'If you marry someone, I will kill you?' Like just in general?"

"And that's not all. There's one for Goten too."

The letter said this. "You've escaped death once before, and now I shall return your soul to the afterlife."

"Aw great! Why does this stuff always happen to me? Seriously, I like a good fight but lately, this has been more annoying than fun. Oh well, I'm up for using myself as bait."

"Hey! How could you suggest something like that?!" Said Miia

"Are you insane?! Centorea added.

"My my, what an interesting offer." Said Rachnera.

"No, as tragic as that would be, I will not allow it!"

"Goten, please don't go."

Suu hugged Goten. "Goten, please stay with us."

"Relax, I'm not going to die." Goten said in an attempt to reassure everyone.

"That's exactly what someone who's going to die would say!" Miia yelled.

I just figured I'd let them go after me." Goten looked at Smith. "Unless they're our mutual enemies, then they don't stand a chance against me. Remember those assassins I took care of?"

"Ah yes, we still don't know where they came from. We found that they were hired by Hisato, the son of the last host of Melody. However, when we came to arrest the boy, he disappeared. His parents were saddened by what he'd done. They claim he was kidnapped by a strange person in a superhero suit. Their reaction wasn't pretty. They both had to be taken to the psych ward.

'Did Beytah do this?!' Goten knew Hisato was scum. Hell, after what Melody implied he did to her, the Saiyan didn't even feel bad for him. He didn't know what was being done to him, but it was likely something he deserved. He did however feel bad for his parents. They had to not only find out that their son was a terrible person, but now they knew the maid that had killed herself was completely innocent. Some people may say his parents deserved it because they didn't raise him right, but Goten didn't think like that. Regardless, Goten wasn't going to do anything without proof.

"Goten?"

"Oh, sorry Ms. Smith. I zoned out there for a bit. Anyway, I didn't mention this before because there was no reason to, but in that incident, the sniper that was apprehended shot me."

"That's awful! And to think, you did such a courageous stunt to save my little Melody…" Said Mero.

"You failed to mention this, Goten. This is very serious. Said Centorea sternly.

"Relax, Centorea. To me getting shot is like having a paper ball thrown at me. I might not even notice it, and if I do, it will just tickle." Goten assumed this wasn't a member of the Red Ribbon Army or whoever was responsible for those possible androids. After all, why would they care about Kimihito's marriage? Goten just assumed it was an obsessive stalker and he figured he could deal with something like this.

"Goten, how often do you think people carry guns around?" Said Smith.

"Well, it can't be that uncommon right? Back where I'm from, I saw common criminals with bazookas and rocket launchers, and those orcs on TV somehow got guns, so it can't be that uncommon right?"

"Goten, Japan has very strict gun laws, and even in the less strict countries that are relatively peaceful, I doubt you would find someone carrying around a rocket launcher. I don't know how those Orcs, or those assassins managed to get their guns from, but those cases are very uncommon. That said, we aren't going to use a high school student as bait to catch the person responsible for this letter." Said Ms. Smith.

"Oh… then if that's the case… I'll just write my own letter!" And with that Goten immediately got to writing.

"Wait, what are you doing Goten?!"

"Dear D, I saw your challenge and I accept it! I'll even let you pick the location! It doesn't matter where, but if it's far away, please give me directions. I'm sure our fight will be fun no matter how strong you are! No matter what, let's both make the most out of it. Sincerely, Son Goten."

Goten finished writing and as he wrote his last letter, he swiped his pen to the left and closed his eyes. "And done!"

This caused everyone to groan as Zombina laughed. "Hahahaha, I like your attitude kid!"

"Bina, you aren't helping…" Said Manako.

"Well, Goten aside, I have a favor to ask of you girls." Said Smith.

"What's that?" Miia asked.

"Until we find out who did this, would you mind going on a few dates?"

"What?!" said all the girls.

"As for you Goten, you will be monitored to ensure your protection. This means no reckless wandering until we catch the culprit. You may go to public places with guidance, but no going to that forest or any secluded areas, and absolutely no searching for the culprit on your own. Is that clear?"

"Okay, fine…." Said Goten disappointed. "I always get left out of the fun stuff..."

"Oh, bye the way how long are you going to keep your hair dyed?" Mero asked.

"Dye? I'm not using dye."

"Oh, then are you wearing a wig?"

"No, this is my actual hair."

"Oh my, you must show me your secret sometime!"

"Maybe later. I think I might have screwed up my hair, and I don't want to see the mess when I go back to normal."

Earlier that day… In a secluded village in another country

Some local village kids were playing near the river as their mother's watch. One of them was the mother of a nine-year-old child, with another child coming soon. She was the wife of the village chief and was 4 months pregnant with his child. She patiently watched her child as she spoke with her mother-in-law.

"Your child has a bright future, Mariame. I can tell the light of God shines brightly on this your child."

"God bless you, mother. I have faith that one day, Abdul will become a great leader. He is our pride and joy." She said smiling at her child. "I'm happy to tell you we decided on a name for our new child."

"What name have you decided on?"

"If they're a boy, we will name him Mohammed, and if they're a girl, we will name her Zuri."

"Both of those are beautiful names for beautiful children." Said The elderly woman hugging her daughter-in-law.

Her oldest child walked up to her.

"Mother, when will father come back?" Said Abdul.

"Soon, my dear son. When he does, I promise to make a feast for us all."

"Really?!" The kid said excitedly. He was then called by one of the girls that he was playing with.

"Abdul, Kwame kicked the ball into the river again!"

Said one of the girls the

"No way, get it yourself!" Said Abdul.

"But I'm afraid of water!"

"Then how about Kwame? He's the one who kicked the ball in the water!"

"He's scared that he'll catch a disease."
"Am not!" He exclaimed.

"Are too!" Said the girl.

"Fine, I'll prove it! I'll get the ball myself!" Kwame walked toward the river and lifted his foot to start walking until he noticed something. It appeared to be some round object with a spike on top of it. Kwame figured it was some unwanted item that some teenagers threw into the river since they were usually the main ones causing trouble around the village. He began walking in the water, but something stopped him in his tracks. He swore for a moment, that object twitched on its own. He could tell it wasn't a result of the river current, and he got scared and came running back to Abdul and the others.

"Abdul, Abdul! There's something in the river!"

"It's probably just your imagination. Here, if you're scared, that's okay. I'll go with you. I can see your legs are wet so you did go into the river. I'm proud of you Kwame, you're on your first step to becoming a man, but you still have a lot of work to do."

"I am not scared! There's really something in there!"

"If it's got you so scared, I'll check it out myself. You should tell your mother about it."

"I bet it's nothing! Whatever it is, I can handle it! I am the son of the village chief!" He said with pride. And with that, Abdul begins marching toward the river.

"Wait, don't go! It's dangerous!" Said Kwame as he tried to pull Abdul away from the river.

"GET OFF ME!" Said Abdul as he pushed Kwame to the ground. This led to Kwame crying and running to Abdul's mother."

"What a crybaby… I'll get the ball and tell him I'm sorry I guess." Little did Abdul know, Kwame didn't go back to tell on him, but rather to tell him not to go to the river. However, it was too late. By the time Kwame and Abdull's mother came walking towards the river, Abdull had walked by the object and grabbed the ball. When he turned around, he saw Kwame with a tearful face and his angry mother.

"See, I told you it was nothing scaredy cat!"

"Abdul, apologize to Kwame right now!"

If there was one thing Abdul feared, it was his angry mother. "But Mother, he was grabbing me!"

"I was trying to warn you!"

Before Abdul knew it, the 'object' behind him sprung out from behind him and jabbed him in the leg. The 9-year-old child screamed in pain.

"What's wrong Abdul!" His mother panicked. Her concern turned into terror as she saw her son slowly being drained of all life. "MOM HELP ME! IT HURTS!"

However, his mother was too stunned. Her 9-year-old child's tearful face began to dissolve as it was sucked into the object in the river. Before he was completely gone, he spoke his last words.

"Mother, I… *Sobs*, I don't want to die. Right after that, the boy was completely absorbed by the object.

The mother screamed in terror as she watched her oldest son die in a brutal way. There were no remains of the boy aside from clothes, not even blood. The next thing she knew, there was a loud splash as something had emerged from the water. What she saw was a green insect-like creature. It had many black spots on it, and many orange sections including a beak-like mouth, and most notably, a large tail resembling that of a snake and at the end of that tail was the same object that had killed her son. This creature however was clerly very injured. It was covered in scars, it was missing his left arm, half of his left leg, and one of his two wings was completely gone. The creature was covered in purple blood.

The pregnant bereaved mother grabbed the child and ran towards the village, screaming for everyone to run.

"No… This isn't enough. I need more…" The injured creature's voice was deep and raspy, but clearly masculine.

The woman and child managed to get to the village as the creature allowed it, but he easily reached them. One by one, almost every woman, man, and child ended up sharing the same fate as her child. Eventually, it was just her and Kwabe. She found a now-empty house to hide in, but for a while, it seemed like she would be fine, but the shirts of the monster previous victims were scattered about in the room house she was in. She was carrying Kwabe, the 7-year-old child whose parents were just killed by this creature as they happened to be in the village. They had left him in her care, so she made it her mission to save this child and survive long enough to eventually give birth to her own child. She held the child tightly and they both quietly sobbed, and she prayed that the creature wouldn't come for her. Unfortunately, he was aware of her presence and he busted through the wall. Kwabe immediately tried to run as soon as he saw him staring right at him. Surprisingly, the monster didn't go after him. In fact, the monster completely stopped. As it would turn out, the monster was simply regenerating its lost body parts. When it regrew its limbs and wing, a green acid flew across dissolving the ground that it covered. The woman tried to leave after the child through the door, but the monster jabbed her through the back. The child continued to run and when he looked back, he saw the woman tear-streaked face completely paralyzed in fear. The creature started by sucking out the unborn child from her womb, and then she was next. The child managed to get decently far and hid behind a tree in hopes that the monster wouldn't find him. Unfortunately, the monster seemingly teleported and grabbed his neck with his tail. He constricted his neck enough to paralyze the child, but avoided killing him until he absorbed him like all his other victims. And like that, the entire village was cleared.

"Such a refreshing feast... *pants*." However, this still isn't enough sustenance to defeat that dreadful android… I'll need to feed even more, but I can't stay in one place for too long, or they'll find me. I need to gather as much energy as possible to get past the remnants of the Red Ribbon Army, so I can steal Dr. Hedo's time machine."

Suddenly, he felt a very powerful energy. He didn't recognize who it belonged to, as there was no data from Dr. Gero's computer on this individual. He did however recognize this energy as that of a Super Saiyan, and a powerful one at that. The energy felt familiar yet different from any Saiyan in the computer data."

"What is this energy?! Who could this possibly be? It can't be Goku, Trunks, Vegeta, and especially not Gohan, so just who is this? He's powerful, so I'll need to feed even more... If I absorb 1 million humans every day for a month, I still wouldn't be able to reach him in power. Still, if I can absorb one of their androids without being detected, I can gain enough power to devour my golden-haired treat. I will get my revenge against that wretched android and then I will steal their time machine to achieve my perfect form! But before, I head to where he is located, perhaps I should pay a few visits around the globe first."

He would then go on across the globe, feeding on many people. However, he would soon run into non-human species which he found gave him much more power than the average human. He also enjoyed their taste much more. He didn't stay in one place for too long, and he did his best and succeeded in not being caught on Camera while absorbing humans and nonhumans. This would go on from now, until next morning. After all, he wasn't a creature that required sleep. Many humans and non-humans went to sleep that night not knowing that they would never wake up again. As for Cell, he was ready to move onto the Saiyan's location. After all, he was only a few million humans away from surpassing the Saiyan in power and by absorbing the humanoid lifeforms that he wasn't aware of, they would grant him even more power making the process much faster. Today was the day he was going to eat his Saiyan meal.

"I don't know who you are, but you'll make a satisfying meal Saiyan! A little appetizer before the main course. You should be honored to be a part of perfection." And with that, Cell made his way over to Japan.

On that same night, Beytah contacted Dr. Hedo. "Hello, Doctor. I got into contact with Goten. He said some things I think you should hear. He said I should stop looking at criminals as monsters and as people who have a reason for what they're doing. He said killing criminals would make people feel the same way I would if someone killed you. It makes me wonder if I was right to do what I did to that kid Hisato."

"Even if they have reasons for what they do, they're still hurting innocent people! Are we supposed to just do nothing as governments continue to fail their citizens? That's the point of our new world order!"

"I see. Well, speaking of that world order, Goten refused to join us. In fact, he said he'd oppose us because according to him, being a hero isn't about beating bad guys it's about helping and saving people, even if it's from themselves. He sees killing criminals as the last resort but won't stand for what we're doing. I was so caught up in the goal, that I lost sight of why we were supposed to do this in the first place. Tell me, were we wrong this entire time?"

"I understand why you would feel this way, but justice is gray. Sometimes, dirty work has to be done to ensure a better world. The ends don't always justify the means, but in some cases they do. Let's take what we did for Hisato for example. Japan has this interspecies exchange thing going on, but that Hisato kid was abusing a princess from a kingdom. This could have caused conflict between her kingdom and human society. A conflict that would only end in tragedy. What we did was for the best. I also got a perfect new test subject out of it too."

"Okay, I understand. But, what about Goten? What will we do about him? Is there another way to deal with him besides killing him? Such a thing would be rather distasteful."

"Remember what I told you right? True justice is gray, and sometimes something morally irreprehensible must be done to ensure a bright future. However, I am not a cruel master. I will not force you to kill Goten."

"Really?! That's great! I'm sorry if this compromises any plans, but after talking to him, I don't believe he truly needs to die. His ideas may be flawed but he's still willing to kill if necessary. Perhaps his idea of justice can still fit into our goal!"

"Yes, we'll see."

"Well bye. As for me, I need some time to think. To digest what Goten has told me." And with that, Beytah had hung up.

"I'm sorry, Beta 1, but if this Goten chooses to oppose us, then he needs to die. It's nothing personal, but he simply knows too much about us. Stuff that can't be revealed under any circumstances. I won't make you kill him, but I know the perfect android for the job. We can't go into this blindly. However, I have just the team to gauge his strength. We'll make sure to put his body to use after he's gone. It's the least we can do. We'll have to worry about him later though. We have bigger issues the worry about, and our situation with Magenta, and Cell being on the loose are far bigger issues! I'll be sending one of my grandfather's left over androids to deal with this threat. He should be enough to stop Cell before he gets too powerful. Our main problem is tracking him down.

It was now a new day, but there was something different. Goten felt an energy he didn't expect to feel. It was none other than the unique ki signature of his father, Son Goku. He couldn't contain his excitement. As he ate breakfast with everyone, Papi was the first to pick up on Goten's extra chipper mood.

"Wow, Goten, you sure seem happy." Said the harpy.

"Yeah, you can say that again! I might be going back soon! My dad is here now! Everyone, it's been fun but I guess I'll have to say goodbye soon. I want you all to know that you all made my time here worthwhile! I won't leave immediately because there's still some unfinished business such as saying goodbye to all my friends from school and taking care of some bad guys, but with my dad here, we'll get that done in no time!"

"So this is it huh? Well, I'm happy for you Goten. We'll all miss you, but this is what's best for you. I'm sure your family will be overjoyed to see you." Said Kimihito.

"Yeah! I can't wait to see my dad! I'll visit him first thing after school! I'll make sure to give you all something to remember me by! Well, goodbye, everyone!" Goten quickly finished his food and sprinted out the door. For the first time since going to this world, he actually decided to fly to school because he was so excited to tell everyone the good news.

"So this is it? He's going to leave?" Said Papi in a sad tone.

"I know how you feel Papi, but you have to understand that Goten has prior connections to another world. One that he was unfairly taken from." Said Centorea.

"Hey guys, not to interrupt, but did you hear what's going on right now? According to the news, people of all species have been disappearing. What's even weirder is the fact that the only thing that remained was their clothes. How bizarre is that?" Said Miia.

"Oh yeah, I think I did hear something like that while I was cooking. If I remember correctly, that happened in a completely different prefecture though. I hope everyone can be found though." Said Kimihito.

Little did he know, the victims were not coming back and the one responsible was very much on the prowl, and he was quickly approaching the power needed to defeat and absorb Son Goten.

The next chapter is when the story really begins to deviate a lot from the main plot. From that point on, I'll be moving on from the main plot to a completely original story. I was originally going to end this arc in like 5 chapters after this one, but I have an idea of where I want to end it now. Of course, anything is subject to change. When the new arc begins, I will still update power levels, but all I can say for now is that Goten's power level hasn't increased that much at all. This took a long time because this chapter right here is the point of no return. What I decide here, goes for the rest of the story. I'm thinking of making the next arc more adventure-oriented, but only if I can properly execute it. I also want it to last a few months so we can at least get to the Black Frieza arc. That's why I haven't revealed what's going on back in Universe 7's Earth. I'm waiting to see how I can fit the Black Frieza Arc into it. I may or may not write anything next month, but good things are coming up. I'll more than likely just make a few edits, but that will probably be it for next month. When I do release the new chapters, they will likely be started after the next chapter is released so I can properly analyze how Goten fights in a serious situation if the manga even allows them to fight seriously. Well anyway, that's all folks!
