It seems that Kairan1979 binge read the previous 77 chapters of a couple of days after the last update. Anyways:

Harry knew his wand was the brother of Voldemort's wand from Ollivander. Ollivander did not tell him that phoenix feather is the rarest of the three cores he uses or that Holly is a rare wood. This information is taken from Harry Potter Wiki/fandom.

There are some things in this story that are consistent with canon. The Firebolt existing earlier than in canon was done to show that Heather, even being a wealthy woman, has her limits on how much she'll spend on any individual item.

I have corrected the spelling of chapter 14. I'll do more story editing for spelling at a later time.

Dumbledore WAS breaking and entering.

Snape's demise should have been more contested and more dramatic, and I see that now. That is a weakness is my early writing of certain chapter (that chapter is almost 2 years old). Things sometimes did happen too easily.

Heather is simply trying to impress upon Harry, Amy, Susan, and Hannah at an early age that the best thing is to be asexual. Harry, Amy, Susan, and Hannah having any interest in sex or sexuality is something Heather wants to "nip in the bud"

I don't really understand your Amy question though. Amy went to Hogwarts before the Yellow Quartet got pulled because there are no wizarding schools in Arizona. There is no canon for there being such and the AU of this story still doesn't have any wizarding schools in Arizona.

In the last few hours of the morning of Tuesday, September 1st, 1992, Skyward School of Practical Sorcery finally welcomed its full student body.

Heather had arranged for the student body to arrive via Portkeys in staggered groups over a period of two hours from 10 A.M. to 11:50 A.M. with a new group arriving every ten minutes.

It was a few minutes and a few nanoseconds before 10 A.M. and the staff of Skyward School of Practical Sorcery was sitting at the staff table in the Eating and Meeting Hall and the Yellow Quartet was sitting at their table. Heather looked on from the Head's chair as she awaited the arrival of the rest of the student body.

In the last few hours of the morning, the students arrived as expected. The students entered the Eating and Meeting Hall via Portkeys such gum wrappers, empty potion bottles, straws, burned out light bulbs, no longer working watches, out of ink pens, and empty M&Ms bags, The Yellow Quartet, the staff, and the Headmistress herself looked on happily as the Eating and Meeting Hall went from nearly empty to full in a little less than two hours.

By noon, the Eating and Meeting Hall was full of young witches and wizards sitting in front of the golden plates and silver goblets that had been set out.

"Good afternoon, " said Heather warmly, speaking out to her student body, "And welcome to Skyward School of Practical Sorcery, "As it's lunchtime and I'm sure you are all hungry, let's eat first."

Next nanosecond, Heather, retrieved her wand from her right hand pocket with her right hand and performed a few nonverbal spells.

Lunch appeared on the golden plates. The main course was a set of three spicy white meat chicken strips for each student. To the amusement of Harry, Amy, Susan, and Hannah, the sides were all yellow foods: corn, fries, bananas, and lemons. The dessert was lemon Jello. The silver goblets were now filled with Budweiser.

As everyone WAS hungry, the food disappeared quickly without much talking. When it was gone, Heather addressed the students more seriously.

"First, " said Heather seriously, " Skyward School of Practical Sorcery will NOT have either a uniform or a dress code. Students who wish to dress in a different, unusual, or individualistic manner are fully welcomed here."

This earned Heather a kindly smile from a first year girl who was sitting at the table next to the Yellow Quartet's. The girl had had dirty blonde hair and was wearing a butterbeer cork necklace, radish earrings, a vivid yellow dress that ironically matched the Yellow Quartet's dresses, and a pair of unique bronze and blue sandals that were shaped like eagles.

Harry, Amy, Susan, and Hannah had noticed ever since her arrival that this girl seemed to like to stare off into spaces a lot. When the girl spoke, they noticed her voice had a very dreamy quality to it.

"Thank you, Headmistress Abbott, " said the girl kindly, "Induvial expression should be encouraged."

"Exactly, Miss Lovegood, exactly, " agreed Heather.

Luna had been in the first group to arrive that morning via the gum wrappers. While she was not received kindly by those in the group she had come with, who had rejected her because of her butterbeer cork necklace, radish earrings, and unusual sandals, Harry, Amy, Susan, and Hannah had waved over and invited her to sit at the table next to them. It was obvious to Heather watching from the Headmistress's seat that Luna was already becoming good friends with the Yellow Quartet. She smiled and felt her insides glow at the Yellow Quartet's immediate acceptance of the eccentric girl.

When the fifth group had arrived, a fourth year boy had noticed that Luna was the only person sitting by himself or herself at a table. He didn't know that the girl had been conversing with the Yellow Quartet and thought she looked lonely. Correctly guessing that people had been shunning her because of her unusual accessories, the boy sat down next to Luna and offered her his friendship. Luna explained to the boy that she had been rejected by the peers she had arrived with but warmly welcomed by the Yellow Quartet. The boy immediately felt respect for the Yellow Quartet. His name was Cedric Diggory.

"Now," continued Heather, "Skyward School of Practical Sorcery is a place of acceptance. I should make clear that both racial slurs and negative comments about people's physical appearance are strictly forbidden. In particular, I want to make it clear right up front that the offensive eight letter word that begins with M and ends with D and the offensive four letter word that begins with U and ends with Y will not be tolerated at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery. Any student who uses the M word or the U word whilst referring to a person will automatically receive two weeks' worth of detentions. I expect all of my student to be complexly respectful for and towards each other at all times."

There were nods of understanding and mutterings of "yes, Headmistress Abbott, " from the student body.

"I also need to explain the library policy at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery," said Heather seriously, "While students are encouraged to read about topics that are of interest to them, I am going to make sure that there are no book hogs by implementing the following rules: First, all due dates shall be defined as a fortnight after a book or material is checked out from the library. At Hogwarts, students were allowed to choose their own due dates, enabling individual students to keep books for months on end. In a few cases, students kept books and materials to themselves the entire school year. Particularly since Skyward School of Practical Sorcery does not have homework, a fortnight should be a sufficient amount of time for a student to read a book he or she is interested in. To ensure that due dates are not circumvented, all students will be forbidden from rechecking out a book or materiel they check in."

"If a student finishes a book before its due date, can he or she return it the library early?" asked Cedric, "Once you're done with a book yourself, there's no reason to keep it a few extra days because you finished it before the due date."

"Absolutely, " replied Heather at once, "In fact, students should turn books and materials back in once they are done with them. The due date is just meant to be a maximum timeframe to ensure all students have equal opportunity to access library books and materials over the course of a school year. There is a once per semester limit for any individual student to check out any specific book or material."

"But," said a second year girl with lots of bushy brown hair fretfully, "Rereading things a lot helps with retention of material. This library policy is so stupid."

"Miss Granger, " said Heather seriously, "A school library is not any person's own person collection. Moreover, at some point, it's time to either do a more advanced study of a topic or move on to studying a new topic. I mean, you can only read The Standard Book of Spells Year 1 so many times before you no longer get anything new out of reading it over and over again. Books that are stories naturally have the issue of the Law of Diminishing Returns if you reread them too often."

"You're being a bad Headmistress, " whined Hermione, "You are limiting access to educational materials."

"If you don't like Skyward School of Practical Sorcery's school polices, you are free to leave, " Heather told Hermione testily.

That shut Hermione up.

"Now, for some biggies, " went on Heather in her no nonsense voice, "ALL students at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery MUST be using firsthand wands that have chosen them at all times. You will never get such good results from another wizard's wand. I know everyone in this hall now has his or her own wand that has chosen him or her, but I just really wanted to emphasize the ban on secondhand wands."

A shy looking round faced boy sitting at a table in the middle of the hall nodded appreciatively. The boy's name was Neville Longbottom and he had struggled with magic whilst at Hogwarts due to using a secondhand wand. His grandmother had insisted on him using his incapacited father's wand as a tribute. This had held Neville back significantly in his classes relative to his potential. He wasn't yet comfortable or confident enough to speak up in a hall full of people, but he felt a rush of inward gratitude towards Heather for forcing Augusta's hand and making her get him a proper wand of his own through her ban on secondhand wands.

Heather's face now turned extremely serious, and she said in a firm and clear voice, "I expect Skyward School of Practical Sorcery to be a purely asexual campus at all times. Sexuality and sex are expressly forbidden at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery. Any student or staff member who is found to have soiled the asexual purity of Skyward School of Practical Sorcery will be immediately and permanently expelled or fired. To be blunt about it, sexuality and sex are the worst vices of humans. Think about it; in an alternate universal in which all people were asexual, there would be no such thing as rape, sexual assault, sexually transmitted diseases, or friendships ruined by sexual jealousy. "

The seriousness of what Heather had said sunk in quickly as they all realized Heather was right. Sexuality and sex really did bring a lot of repulsive things into society.

"Any questions?" Heather asked her student body.

Parvati Patil, who was sitting with her sister Padma at a table towards the far right of the hall, raised her hand.

"Yes, Miss Patil?" asked Heather.

"Is there a lost and found service at Skyward School of Practical Sorcery where we can turn in things, we find that aren't ours that we don't know who they belong to or see if someone else has done so for us if we lose something?" inquired Parvati.

"I don't think to create one, " admitted Heather, "You know what, if you find something that is not yours and you don't know who it belongs to, turn it in to me and I will reunite it with its owner."

"Thank you, Headmistress Abbott, " piped up Parvati.

"As you know," announced Heather, "Due to my belief in emphasizing the social aspect of Skyward School of Practical Sorcery as much as the academic side, I required all of you to join a school club. Well, we'll have our first academic classes tomorrow. You'll get your schedules at breakfast tomorrow morning. But, at one o'clock today, all school clubs of Skyward School of Practical Sorcery are having their first meeting! That's a few minutes away. Good luck!"

With that, Heather stepped down from the Head's chair and went to chat with the staff.
