On Monday, October 5th, 1992, Amelia went to Privet Drive to interrogate the Dursleys about how Harry had been treated while he'd been at their place.

However, Ameila was about to make a shocking discovery.

Amelia knocked on the front door, which was quickly answered by Petunia.

"Who are you?" asked Petunia calmly.

"I am Amelia Bones, Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic. Are you alone in the house at this nanosecond?" asked Amelia.

"Yes," replied Petunia calmly, "Dudley is at school."

"And Vernon?" inquired Ameila.

"Vernon and I got divorced last October, " said Petunia indifferently, "We both suddenly realized last October 10th that we never really loved each other and that we didn't want to be married to each other. It felt to me as though we had previously been bewitched to think we loved each other and to marry each other and that this enchantment had suddenly been removed."

"OOH," gasped Amelia suddenly, "Last October 10th, Albus Dumbledore was given the Dementor's Kiss due to being convicted of numerous crimes."

"So, he mind raped us into marrying?" wondered Petunia aloud.

"Yes," confirmed Amelia, "Once Dumbledore's spells expired after he was given the Dementor's Kiss, it must have become clear to both of you that you weren't right for each other. "

Petunia nodded.

"Dumbledore arranged for you to marry a magic hating man as a part of his plan to control Harry Potter's life," explained Amelia, "His plan was that Harry would be treated so poorly here that when Harry found life at Hogwarts far better than his home life, he would trust Dumbledore."

"Did it work?" asked Petunia.

"No," answered Amelia, "Harry was pulled from Hogwarts after a mere day and Hogwarts has since shut down."

"What next?" asked Petunia.

"Now," said Amelia clearly "I'm going to be performing some non verbal spells on you to check you for Potions."

"Okay," agreed Petunia, "Do what you need to do."

Next nanosecond, Amelia reached her right hand into he right hand pocket and retrieved her wand.

Pointing her wand directly at Petunia, Amelia made a series of movements and performed a series of nonverbal spells.

"Petunia," said Amelia sadly, "You have tested positive for traces of Hate Potion keyed to Harry Potter. It appears you have previously been given a Hate Potion keyed to Harry Potter but haven't been fed it for a long time."

"I haven't thought much about Harry over the past year," said Petunia matter of factly, "Out of sight out of mind. Still, I'm realizing now that thinking of him isn't bringing me the old hate it used to."

"Dumbledore mind raped you to make you hate Harry as part of his plan to control Harry," said Amelia, "You will not be punished for that because it was outside of your control. However, Harry will never live here again."

"That's only fair," nodded Petunia.

"He is currently attending Skyward School of Practical Sorcery " explained Amelia, "It's a school of magic founded by my friend Heather Abbott. During school breaks and vacations, he lives at Abbott Manor along with his father's two Bestie's, his godfather Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Heather and I live there as well as do Harry's three Besties, my niece Susan, Heather's daughter Hannah, and a muggleborn albino girl named Amy Alworth."

"It sounds like he's in a good situation, " said Petunia approvingly.

"I may be speaking to you again in the future," Amelia informed Petunia, "I will inform Harry of what I have learned here today. I believe Harry forgive you, though not necessarily right away. If my instincts are correct, I believe Harry will forgive you sometime during Christmas Vacation. I will test Dudley for Hate Potion when he comes home from school and if he tests positive for Hate Potion he'll be in the same boat as you, and I believe Harry would forgive him as well."

"That's up to him," said Petunia simply, "But it's a good thing Dumbledore's by the by."

"Indeed," agreed Amelia.
