DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER.
Amelia drove out of Park Lane and headed towards Broadway, London. Harry and Susan looked excitedly out of the windows as Amelia's car ran on the highway.
Amelia shook her head in disapproval as a motorbike sped past them at a very high speed, just when they were driving alongside a double-decker bus.
"Honestly," she commented, "He doesn't even look like he's driving properly."
Harry piped up, "I had a dream about a motorcycle. It was flying."
Amelia chuckled at that and said, "You know, I know someone who used to have a motorcycle that does fly. He used to drive me crazy quite a lot with his driving. If you had seen his driving…"
Harry smiled and asked, "Who?"
Amelia replied, "I'll tell you later, maybe this evening."
"Okay," Harry replied.
Sometime later, Amelia pulled over in front of a mall in London and parked the car in an appropriate spot. She then proceeded to unbuckle Harry and Susan and lift them out before locking the car doors and pulling them into the mall.
Harry's eyes widened as he looked all around, amazed at how big it looked. Susan piped up, "Can we go to that place today? I want to play." Amelia replied, "After our shopping Susie. The first thing we need to do is to get Harry some new clothes."
A few minutes later, after climbing an escalator to get to the first floor, they stepped into a large clothes store. An assistant nearby, dressed in black pants and a red shirt came up to them and said, "Hello Ma'am, would you and your children like any assistance?"
Amelia smiled at the young man and replied, "Yes please. Could you direct us to the boys section? My nephew here needs some new clothes."
The young man replied, "Of course Ma'am. My, you kids seem to grow up so fast. How old are you?"
Susan replied, showing four fingers, "I'm four."
Harry raised three fingers and said, "I'm three."
The assistant's eyes widened and he gave them thumbs up saying, "Wow, you're so big you little champs! Now let's get you started. This way please."
Soon, Amelia and the kids were in the boys section, and Amelia was helping Harry going through a selection of shirts. She had already picked some undergarments, socks and some pajamas.
Harry pointed to a bright red shirt with a lion and looked at it. Amelia smiled and thought, "Perfect choice for a Gryffindor." Amelia added that shirt to the pile hanging on her arm and soon, they picked some other nice t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, mittens, caps, thermal leggings and shirts, and some nice shorts, trousers and jeans. She also made sure to get Harry a pair of swimming trunks.
Sometime later, Amelia walked out of the store with Harry and Susan in tow, carrying a large bag of clothes on an arm while holding each child with one hand.
She walked some distance from the clothes store and came to a toy store. There, they spent almost an hour selecting different toys which included some blocks, trains and train tracks, some planes which Harry seemed fascinated by plus an airport play mat. After that, they went up to the second floor and reached a bookstore, where Amelia got Harry and Susan some new books which included a dragon book which Harry seemed fascinated with.
After all that shopping, they took another escalator to go to the third floor and a few minutes later, Harry and Susan found themselves in front of a nice jungle gym playground.
Amelia sat down on a bench nearby and said, "Well, here's your jungle gym my loves. Why don't you go play for a little while?"
Susan squealed in delight and pulled Harry behind her calling out, "Come Harry."
They entered a network of fun tunnels and ball pools. Harry and Susan excitedly screamed as they chased each other across slides, rope bridges and through passages.
At one point, they jumped into a ball pool. They saw a slightly bigger boy standing in there. Suddenly, he called out, "Oh no, run! There's a shark in the pool! Run! Run!"
Believing him, Harry and Susan screamed and ran out of the pool.
Finally, after around thirty minutes of playing, they had just emerged from a slide when they heard Aunt Amelia calling out, "Come on children, it's time to go, time for you to eat your lunch."
Harry and Susan bounded over to Aunt Amelia who promptly took them to a restaurant just opposite the jungle gym. They moved over to a corner booth of the restaurant where Harry and Susan proceeded to seat themselves on either side of Aunt Amelia, Harry on her right side and Susan on her left side.
Amelia held out the menu to the kids and said, "Now, what shall we have for lunch my loves?"
Harry stared at the menu, not knowing what to say. The Dursleys had hardly ever taken him out to a restaurant, and when they had, Dudley had poked Harry and had gotten so many good things while Harry had only gotten a little food, not very much of the nice things. He had been quite happy every time he had been allowed to finish Dudley's leftover desserts, but he had not been allowed to choose anything himself.
Susan finally asked, "Mac and Cheese?"
Amelia replied, "Mac and Cheese then, but also some salad. You need your green vegetables to be healthy."
She turned to Harry and asked, "What about you Harry? Mac and Cheese, or do you want something else? A burger or maybe this really nice vegetable soup?"
Harry looked up at Amelia and said nothing. Amelia upon noticing this, felt suspicious and she softly asked Harry, "Harry, did your aunt and uncle tell you not to choose anything?" Harry looked at her sadly and nodded. Amelia held him and said, "With me, you are allowed to choose, so long as it is the right choice. If you want something, just tell me. I won't scold you simply for asking."
Harry, feeling better, pointed to the 'Mac and Cheese' option, to which Amelia smilingly replied, "Well Harry, Mac and Cheese for you too, but also some salad, so that you eat healthy food. Perfect."
Harry smiled and hugged Amelia, and she hugged him back.
Ten minutes later, Harry and Susan were munching on Mac and Cheese and salad that had lettuce in it while Amelia was eating a veggie burger and some soup that she had ordered for herself. Harry in particular smiled as he ate his food. Finally, they all had some brownies for dessert which they enjoyed immensely.
After finishing their meal, Amelia, Harry and Susan walked together out of the mall and got into her car.
Amelia drove back home and just as she reached, she looked back and noticed the two toddlers fast asleep in their booster seats.
