By the time Minerva left, it was already 6:15. Still, it was not too late to go for a swim.
Around 6:30, Amelia, Harry and Susan stepped into the pool enclosure in swimsuits, wearing flip flops. Amelia was carrying floaties and two dragon swim rings, one blue and one pink.
As they entered the enclosure and removed their flip flops, Amelia said, "Well, it's a good thing we all went to the bathroom before coming here. Now first, a quick shower."
She first proceeded to activate the waterslide.
She led them to a shower nearby and turned it on. Harry and Susan screamed in excitement as they were being showered. A minute later, Amelia turned off the tap after quickly showering herself.
She led them to the shallow end where there were a couple of sun-loungers and proceeded to put the kids' floaties on them. Harry's were blue and green and Susan's were pink and red. After adjusting the swim rings over their swim suits, Harry getting the blue one and Susan the pink one, she held their hands and stepped into the swimming pool, down the steps of the shallow end.
Harry squealed in excitement as Aunt Amelia spun them around in a circle. She then proceeded to pull them along as she swam towards the deep end and back to the shallow end.
Climbing out, she asked, "So, who wants to go down the slide first?"
Harry and Susan called out at the same time, "Me, me!"
Aunt Amelia laughed and said, "Well I can surely take you both with me. We have to go down together. Come."
With that, she pulled them out of their swim rings, led them to the stairs leading to the slide and said to Harry, "When we reach the bottom, we may go under the water for a second, so hold your breath, but don't worry, it'll only be a second."
"Okay," Harry replied, looking at Amelia with wide eyes.
Amelia smiled at his expression and gave him a pat on his head before they went up the stairs.
Once they were at the top of the waterslide, Aunt Amelia sat down, pulling the kids onto her legs, Harry on her left leg and Susan on her right leg and pushed off.
As they went down, the kids screamed in excitement and finally, they got to the bottom with a great splash. Harry closed his eyes just before they went under the water for a moment, and then they were back on the surface, smiling.
Amelia asked, "That was fun wasn't it?"
Harry and Susan beamed at her in response and Susan called out, "Yes!"
Amelia took the kids down the slide a few more times, and then she let them sit in their dragon swim rings and play about in between the shallow end and the pool region where the depth was 4-6 feet, after teaching Harry to kick his legs for a while, which he seemed to quickly get the hang of sitting in his swim ring.
He could at least move about in his ring now, even if it was very slowly.
Making sure to look at the kids every now and then, she swam a few laps, ending the last one at the shallow end.
She sat on the shallow end and looked at Harry and Susan who were splashing each other, and then an evil thought came into her mind.
Plunging into the water, she swam just above the floor of the pool and when she was near the kids, she began to circle around them like a shark.
And then, jumping from the floor, she rose up to the surface and spread her arms out. After a few breaths, she laughed evilly and said, "I am going to devour you!"
Harry and Susan screamed and tried to move away from her.
Amelia swam after them, slowly so as to let it seem so hard to catch them.
And then, they saw her moving towards the side and getting out, and then saying, "You are quite fast for me, and it's so hard to catch you."
Harry and Susan laughed and Susan said, "You can't catch us, you can't catch us."
Amelia laughed and said, shaking her right index finger towards them, she said, "Just you wait, I will catch you. I'm coming for you and I will eat you up!"
Harry and Susan giggled, and in response, Amelia playfully glared at them and pointed her fingers towards them.
The kids saw her going up the stairs leading to the slide and soon, they saw her emerge from the slide and sink below the water for a moment before she surfaced, right in front of Harry.
Amelia extended her arms and caught Harry by his hands saying, "Now you are mine. Just where shall I eat you?"
With that, she pulled him towards the shallow end and pretended to eat him in a few bites. She then swam towards Susan and brought her over to where Harry was saying, "I'm going to eat you my beautiful little one, come into my arms."
And with that, she 'ate' Susan in a couple of 'bites'.
Amelia smiled afterwards and hugged Harry and Susan before saying, "Come and let me swim with you on my back."
She pulled Susan out of her swim ring and adjusting her on her back, she proceeded to swim across the length of the pool and back. Placing Susan back in her ring, she pulled Harry out of his ring and adjusted him on her back before swimming across the length of the pool. All the while, Harry's arms were wrapped around her neck.
When Amelia reached the deep end and was about to start back to the shallow end, Harry chirped, "Love godmummy." Aunt Amelia felt her heart warm up at Harry's cute statement and she held him and said, "Aww, I love you my godbaby godson, you're my little baby boy."
She then swam back to the shallow end with Harry on her back, and then, she, Harry and Susan had a splashing war. It was the kids vs. Aunt Amelia. They 'battled' against her for a good ten minutes after which Amelia finally stopped splashing them crying out, "Ahhhh, you won, you won, please stop, oh no, my babies want to get me!" Harry and Susan giggled and launched themselves onto her.
A few minutes later, Amelia said, "I think that's enough for today. How about sitting in the spa pool for a few minutes?"
With that, she brought Harry and Susan with her to the spa pool and got in, placing the children on her lap as she sat down. She activated the jets, adjusting the pressure so that it was very low, and then held Harry and Susan as they screamed in joy upon feeling warm water gushing out.
A few minutes later, she turned off the jets and said, "I think that's enough, time to come out."
Sometime later, Harry and Susan were wrapped up in blankets and eating some pizza that Amelia had ordered. They were sitting in the living room and watching a cartoon as they ate their dinner, with Amelia sitting in between them.
After they had finished their dinner, Amelia made sure to have the kids brush their teeth, read a story to the kids and put them to bed with plenty of hugs and kisses.
