DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER.
Even as thunder rumbled outside and wind and rain pounded against the windows, Harry was tossing and turning in his sleep.
He was having another nightmare, but this time, it was worse.
Harry was back with the Dursleys, standing outside of their house and crying.
He was facing the house, and right in front of him, stood Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and Dudley, laughing cruelly.
Uncle Vernon yelled sadistically, "You are a freak and a burden to everyone! Even your Aunt Amelia has left you! No one loves you and no one will ever love you!"
Looking evilly at Harry, he continued, "You thought anyone would love you freak?! It was all an act!"
Petunia looked at Harry cruelly and hissed, "How dare you try to hug me! You have no right here! You don't get hugs because you are a freak! You can't even do what you're supposed to do. Aunt Amelia knows now that you are a freak and that she shouldn't hug you! You are an ungrateful, undeserving freak! No one wants you! It was just an act! I don't love you freak!"
Vernon laughed again and yelled, "No one wants you. Aunt Amelia hates you now that she knows that you are a freak! You're a burden and she hates you! This was all just an act!"
Harry cried and turned to his left and standing there was the mean man in black (Snape).
Snape looked at Harry with hate and disgust and yelled, "You are a freak! You made your Mummy die! Your Mummy died because of you!"
Harry turned around, hoping to find someone, Aunt Amelia or Uncle Remus or Mrs. Abbott or Aunt Molly, and when he turned to look at the street, there, in front of him, a few steps away, stood Aunt Amelia.
He slowly began to move towards her, but just as he took two or three steps, he suddenly stopped.
There was no love in her eyes. Instead, she was looking at him like she was angry with him, like how Aunt Petunia often looked at him, with contempt and hatred.
And then, in a cruel voice, she uttered, "Freak!"
Harry, upon hearing this, looked at Aunt Amelia and said, "Aunty, please."
Amelia raised her voice and spoke, "I don't love you freak! You are a burden to us! You cannot live with us! I don't want you near Susan! I don't want you anymore! Go away freak!"
Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing. Bursting into tears, he ran towards her and clutched her robes, trying to hold on to her.
And to his horror, Amelia pushed him away from her and spoke loudly, "You have no right here! Go away! I don't love you! I hate you! You are an orphan and a freak! I am not your Mummy! I am not your Godmummy! I am giving you away! I don't want you anymore and I will leave you forever! Goodbye forever!"
And with that, she looked cruelly at Harry and walked away from him.
Harry went and sat on the lawn and cried even as Dudley pushed him down with a cruel laugh. His Aunt Ami didn't want him anymore. She hated him now.
She had left him forever and would never come back for him.
He was all alone.
Amelia woke up to loud cries coming from Harry's bedroom. Suddenly remembering what Dumbledore had said and thinking that Death Eaters or Crouch had entered and were trying to take Harry away, she picked up her wand and rushed to Harry's room crying out, "Baby, I'm coming!"
She entered Harry's bedroom and luckily there were no Death Eaters or Ministry officials, but Harry was in his bed, bawling.
Amelia rushed over to him and placing her wand on the nightstand where Harry's glasses were kept, she sat on the bed and enveloped the sobbing child in her arms.
"Oh my poor baby," Amelia cried out, "Harry, I've got you, Ami's got you, Godmummy's here, don't weep my baby."
Harry cried and cried even as she rocked him in her arms and kissed his cheeks. Finally, after a few minutes, his sobs reduced.
Amelia asked, "Bad dream?"
Harry tearfully nodded.
Amelia asked, "Oh my baby, what happened in that dream?"
Harry replied, "You left me. You left me with Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia and they said you hate me. The mean man in black, uh…"
Amelia said, "The same one that was there in the evening? The same one who was mean to you? Snape?"
Harry nodded and continued, "He said I made Mummy die. And then you came and you were angry."
"I was angry with you?" Amelia asked.
Harry replied, "And then you said freak."
"I called you a freak?" Amelia asked, horror growing in her mind.
Harry nodded and said, "And you said that you don't love me, you don't want me near Susan. You not Mummy, you not my Godmummy, and you gave me away. You said you will leave me forever, and you left me."
And then, Harry burst into tears.
Amelia held Harry in her arms and cried out, "Oh my poor baby, I would never ever do something like that to you. You're my baby, and I am your godmummy. I won't give you up! You're mine; you're my baby as much as you're Lily's baby. You did not make your mother die! And your mother loved you so much! You are not a freak or a burden to me! And of course I want you. Susan loves you so much! I will never ever leave you and go away!"
Harry wrapped his arms and legs around her as Amelia continued, "You're my beautiful baby. I love you and I will never ever leave you and go away."
With that, she picked him up and carried him over to her bedroom. They got under the covers and Amelia started to nuzzle Harry's face when suddenly, she heard sounds of crying from Susan's bedroom.
She rushed over to Susan and found her crying.
Amelia lifted her off the bed into her arms and carried her to her own bedroom and sat right next to where Harry was lying down.
She asked, "Susie, did you have a bad dream too?"
Susan wailed, "The mean man came and took Harry away with him!"
"Snape," Amelia growled inwardly. She was so furious with that man.
She kissed her niece's cheeks and said, "He won't take Harry away from us. I won't let him. Don't worry my child, nothing like that will happen. Oh my baby, come."
With that, she tucked her under the covers on her right side (Harry was on her left side) and wrapped an arm around each child.
Just then, there was a sudden burst of thunder and Harry and Susan both screamed and held on to their aunt tightly. Aunt Amelia held them closely saying, "Oh my babies, don't be scared, I'm here."
Harry held on to her very tightly.
Amelia turned to face Harry whispering, "I'll suck your pain away. Come."
And with that, she pressed her lips to Harry's scar and sucked softly on it before kissing it and saying, "Now come and sleep."
She turned to Susan and softly sucked her forehead to 'suck her pain and fear away' before kissing it.
Just then, there was a loud burst of thunder and Susan screamed and held Amelia.
Amelia hugged Susan saying, "Susan, don't be afraid, I've got you. I'm here baby."
And then suddenly there was an even louder burst of thunder.
Both of the children screamed at that.
Just as Aunt Amelia wrapped her arms around them, trying to calm them down, Harry who was holding onto her tightly suddenly cried out something, something that warmed up Amelia's heart and stunned her at the same time, "MUMMY!"
